Uh, what pico de gallo??? I did not get ANY bro. If I got it on the side, why would I complain about it then. Let me emphasize... i got NADA. I don't know where you packed the pico de gallo at but it wasn't in my take out bag. Also, your boy did not explain anything AT ALL.. he literally said "sure we can do that for you" and did not do that. And didn't even let me know that I'll get double rice. You say that you make your food fresh but not only was my taco dry but it was not warm.. nor was the steak. So either it's not fresh or it was just sitting for a long time. And we live pretty close by so it's not bc we didn't eat it within a certain amount of time. Do not try to make this blame on the customer, please. This isn't just me being bitter. There was NO sauce whatsoever.. i don't know if the guy meant there was sauce for the enchiladas but why would he mean that while I was ordering the taco? And as for the al pastor, SUPER dry.... Alr so third time here. Wanted a Res Melanisa, but best they would do is a chicken Melanesa with bits of asada in the torta. Decided on shrimp burrito, and although it did taste good it was lacking low on the shrimp. This place turned out to not be worth the hype, maybe it was at one-point but with the poor seating and parking the prices end-up being the final nail in the coffin. The service really is the best part of this place, but everything else gets taken down a notch. My buddy and I gave this place enough chances. Wow! What a great dining experience. My family and I happened to be in the area, and, as always, when we are unsure where to stop for food, we use Yelp to help us decide. This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant was a true winner in our book. Located in a small corner lot shared with a liquor store and another business, there is parking for 10-12 vehicles. The restaurant exterior was very clean and well organized, and the menu boards posted on the building were very clear, large, and easy to read. We decided on a chicken burrito, green chile chilaquiles, two Pepsi Zeros, and one horchata. Prices were very reasonable, and portions were large. The food we had was UNBELIEVABLE! The chicken burrito was loaded with chicken, beans, and light rice, and it was delicious! The chilaquiles, served with a side of black beans and Spanish rice, were perfectly prepared and offered a home-cooked taste. Wow! These were DELICIOUS! The hot salsa was VERY hot and left my tongue numb. The green, medium salsa was so good. Service was AMAZING as the young lady who took our food order was very friendly and courteous. My friend and I like Spanglish Kitchen, but my hubs is a little indifferent. I think it's decent portion and price and it's close to home, so I really can't complain. Hubs hasn't been the biggest fan of the burritos he's had here, thinks he can find better elsewhere...But my friend & I both enjoy their tacos & quesadilla, and I particularly liked their Chicken Soup. The salad dressing is phenomenal!!! I love the tartness and the little kick it provided. The salad was super fresh. The rice was good but have had better Spanish rice. I appreciate the intention of having a veggie option for most items and the tacos and breakfast burrito and the horchata cold brew have all been enjoyed multiple times. I do always order from them as I am a returning customer but I will stop ordering. I'm just tired that whenever they messed up orders for pick up I call with detail information of what item was missing, and to please reach out to me for a refund of the missing item but they never do. These has happened a total of 3 separate occasions, but the order I placed on Monday just had it for me. I didn't get the shrimp taco which was $4.25, I called and left a message explaining the situation but never heard of them and probably will never hear back. Marked this place for a long time and finally got to try on a Friday evening! I got four tacos (grilled shrimp, lengua, asada, and pastor). My favorite is probably the lengua, super tender and juicy! The pastor is really good as well with tropical flavors. My least favorite might be the asada - the meat is a bit too chewy for me. They do prepare the food fresh so expect a 15 min wait if you didn't order ahead of time. If you are in a rush, make sure to order ahead! However, for the last few months they've been very inconsistent with the portions and have had a few errors in my order. Each burrito is close to $18 and at times I've found myself with 3 shrimps for $3.00? Extra meat is 2.25, avocado $1.25 and lettuce is .50.. so why am I paying all of these additional charges if I find myself not getting what I paid for? The money isn't the issue, I'm hoping that I get what I pay for. I also understand if it's a one time issue because they're "busy" and they're trying to keep up with the rush, but for the past few months? It's now considered robbery at this point. I ordered two shrimp tacos and had the salsas on top. The shrimp was cooked well and tasted better with the salsas. I was most disappointed with the carne asada fries. The fries were soggy and flavorless. The carne asada was a little tough and was also flavorless. I probably finished maybe 1/4 of it and couldn't bring myself to finish the whole thing.
