NEW LOCATION AS OF 07/08/2026: 7421 Garvey Ave, Rosemead, CA 91770. I was sad to see their stand gone on valley and thought that they closed for good. But luckily they just moved locations. I gave them a call before going and they let me know that they moved. It's inside the auto repair shop through the gates. I love their tacos as a quick dinner. Cheap and tasty. Called them at 5p to confirm their location and they picked up right away to say they've permanently moved and texted me the new address (they have 2 locations FYI. One in SGV and one in LA). Was kind of disappointed bc of all the 5 star reviews. The tacos come in double tortillas and handed to you to go in foil. -- for the TACOS you get plenty of MEAT -- but they're not all that tasty :( - Cabeza meat was soft and tender. - Carne asada's flavors were meh -- not particularly good nor bad. - Al pastor were a bit better and I loved the piece of pineapple they throw in there. - Tripas were super chewy so if you don't like chewy, I'd recommend getting them elsewhere. Pass this place many times and finally decided to try after having cravings for street tacos. Many restaurants these days serving half filled tacos and charge $5. But here at Super Tacos they serve incredible tacos that don't skimp on the meat, this is the spot. At only **$2 a taco**, the value here is insane--they pack them so full that you actually get your money's worth and then some. My only minor bummer is that they don't have lengua or carnitas on the menu. Everything else they serve is so super delicious that you won't even care. Their papa rellenas (loaded baked potato) are a huge hearty meal enough for two people. They even add 5 tortillas on the side so you can scoop up the trimmings. Parking only on the street and can be tricky. You can park momentarily in the Mission Hardware lot, but when they close, you have to find parking on the street. I was really craving some good tacos and my partner put me on this place to try and I will say these Al Pastor tacos are incredible 10/10. You definitely need to give it a try if you're near the area, the service was efficient and quick when making our food. I also had the mulitas with asada and it was just as amazing! I thankfully found this spot on Yelp, and it's a nice little stand with three chairs for seating and a bunch of sauces and onions/cilantro. Super tacos is located off of valley blvd, which is a very busy street. There isn't necessarily a dedicated parking lot or street parking for this spot. I decided to park at the corner of the CVS parking lot and walked over. There is plenty of parking spots available in that lot. However, when it came to ordering, I needed to wait, since it was very busy. Even after ordering, it took about 20 minutes to get my items. The main reason is there was one cashier and one cook. I went around 6:30 pm on a weekday. In the meantime, I went ahead and looked at their salsa bar. There was plenty of different sauces and toppings (cilantro, onions, etc) available with to-go containers and bags. This place isn't really ideal for dining and more of takeout. They have stools, but didn't see many people utilize it. For my order, I got (1) asada taco, (1) chorizo taco, and (1) al pastor burrito. The asada was average, but the onions & cilantro really elevated the flavor. For the chorizo, it was on the salty side, but the green sauce really helped cut the saltiness a bit. For the Al pastor burrito, it was too oily for my preference. The burrito also kept falling apart with every bite. I used the orange sauce on the burrito and it was definitely the spiciest. Overall, it was an okay spot, but nothing memorable really stood out for me. I paid in cash, but looks like this spot accepts Zelle as well. read more

Okay. I've passed by this stand numerous times at night and I just never felt compelled to try it because well, it's Alhambra / San Gabriel border. How good can the tacos be? I was wrong. Although the tacos aren't as good as El Monte, I can give them a solid 4/5 overall (not handmade tortillas) and a 5/5 FOR THE TRIPAS aka intestine! I mean, what?! The tripe was probably the best one I had here and second was the cabeza, which was super tender and not overly salty like other stands. Let me come back to the TRIPES option here. I got it as a taco and it I don't know what the griddle did to the tripes but they were chewy, slightly crispy, full of oily flavor. Definitely a must get. The Al Pastor was good too although nothing else mattered after I tried the intestines... cabeza also a fave. $2 per taco and I think $8 for burritos. There's a taco stand that's located on the corner of Shorb and New that has been here for more than a year. I pass by frequently and they are usually open most nights - although there have been some nights where they've been closed. Always see a small trickle of customers, and so curiosity got the better of us and we decided to check out the taco stand for ourselves. There isn't a set menu, but it seems like they have tacos $2, quesadillas $8, mulitas $5, burritos $8, papa rellena $9, alambres $11, and tortas $8 (not 100% sure the items and prices are correct). One of the photos from the Yelp page has a banner of "Super Tacos" but when I asked the worker who was taking orders if that was their taco stand's name, he said no - they don't have a name. But the location of this Yelp page does match the layout and the exact ingredients of the salsa bar. We ordered two asada tacos and one pastor taco. Total was $6, so $2 per taco. Waited about 5 minutes and filled up with the various sauces and toppings before we were on our way. The salsa bar had cucumbers, cilantro with onions, pickled onion/carrot garnish, salsa, and three different taco sauces (avocado, green, and red). So I have to say, I don't really know much about tacos but I have eaten my fair share of them - and these were probably the BEST tacos I've ever had. I believe the tortillas are made of corn - there were two pieces to each taco. And although we only ordered two different flavors, both were really good. The asada was juicy and flavorful - I didn't even need to add garnish to the taco, it was that good! Although the various toppings made it even better. And my dad and I really enjoyed the pastor. I ate the piece of pineapple by itself, but the pork was crispy and really tasty. Several people waiting ahead of us specifically ordered a number of pastor tacos and pastor in their mulitas and we could see why. Will be back to try more of the different varieties of meat.
