One of my favorite taco trucks. So smacking and affordable (only $2/taco and $1 on Thursdays for the pastor). They even offer buche which is usually pretty rare at other spots.

3.5 stars. Really wanted to rate them higher, but their food is pretty average. So, the experience was good. Was looking for something that is fast, easy n convenient. Order and got my food without any issues. Unlike other taco stands and taco trucks, they do not have a self serve/buffet style condiments & sauces bar. Cucumbers and lime were given. Onion & cilantro was already placed on the tacos. Sauces were also given by them and placed in the bag since I ordered it for to-go. Got a cabeza taco $2/ea and carne asada burrito $10. Both were okay/alright. Nothing to rave about. One green and one red sauce were given for my order. Both tasted so-so. Again, nothing to write home about. The sauces were needed, but didn't help elevate the taco or burrito much. I do like the pineapple drink. Small is $3 and large is $4. So, price is reasonable. FOOD: Cabeza Taco 3.5/5 Carne Asada Burrito with everything (rice & beans included) 3.5/5 SAUCES: Verde (green) 3/5 Roja (red) 3/5 AQUA FRESCA: Pineapple 4.5/5 (Like that it taste sweet without feeling overly sweet) Think I'll give them another chance and try other things to see if it's any good.

Delicious tacos! Quick service and paid with cash, exact price. Highly recommend the asada or pastor taco! $13 nachos

Pretty standard LA taco cart. The Al Pastor is my favorite option. Service is friendly and portions are solid. It's a bit pricey, but so is everything these days. If you're in the area, it's a decent taco truck for late night eats. I like the stools outside so you can eat it while it's fresh.

My fam & I were craving some tacos and saw this truck so decided to try it out. We ordered some asada, lengua, & pastor tacos along with an asada burrito. It is decently priced @ $2 per taco, burrito being $9. On Thursdays, they have a special where they sell their pastor for $1. There is no price on their menu, but they have what they sell as well as a translation of each type of meat which was helpful! The service and friendliness of the workers were pretty nice & quick. They got our order done within 5 minutes. The order came with 3 types of sauces which I enjoyed trying. My favorite was the salsa verde & avocado salsa. There was a variety of toppings such as grilled jalapeños, grilled onions, diced peppers, radish, lime, cucumbers, in addition to the cilantro & onions. We asked for extra onions/cilantro & they kindly gave us some more with no extra cost! Taste wise, I was disappointed because the taco itself didn't taste as good as I hoped. It was lacking in flavor across the board and the quality of the meats felt underwhelming. My favorite was the lengua because it tasted more fresh, but both beef & pastor felt like it's been sitting there. The lime given was hard and barely had juice and the taco flavors didn't mesh as well as I hoped despite all the add-ons. I had a taste of my dad's burrito but the rice was mushy and broken in bits. Overall, price is decent, service was efficient and kind, but sadly food missed the mark for me. Hope to see improvements made because it is a sweet little business!

I was super excited to try this place out due to how colorful the food truck represented themselves outside; however, the quality in the food did not deliver. Moreover, the taste in the meats did not taste fresh (sadly) and it honestly felt like the meat has been sitting there. What DID deliver though was the service and their menu, it was super easy to order. Furthermore, I appreciated the choices of meat and how the menu translated. In addition, they give you complimentary onions, cilantro, lime, and radish. They made our order quick too! It took around 4-5 minutes for them to complete the order. At first, they gave one small bag of onions, and I realized that was too little, so I asked for two more bags. Good thing I did because one bag of onions is not enough for 9 tacos. My favorite taco I ordered are the lengua tacos, it tasted the most appetizing to me, nonetheless, what disappointed me the most was eating the pastor tacos because it lacked flavor and wasn't fresh.

I found this place shopping at the hoa binh supermarket. It's parked on Garvey ave on the side of the plaza of cvs and hoa binh market. They have DOLLAR PASTOR TACOS ON THURSDAYS!! It's pretty good and it comes with a tostada con frijoles for free. Their drinks are decently priced too. The ladies that were taking my order were nice and offered extra salsas if I needed any. Their salsas and toppings aren't self served but they give you enough. You can eat on the ledge of their truck if you want to eat there. I would love to see them get more business!

El Pastor $1 each on Thursday!

I stopped by because the smells coming out of this taco truck made me hungry. Food hits the spot! The chicken in both the burrito and tacos taste like they've been marinated with limes; they're so good. Service is really fast and super friendly. Convenient location. Plenty of street parking wherever they are. Usually located around the intersection San Gabriel Blvd and Garvey. They accept cash, zelle, cash app, and apple pay.

I already came here for tacos multiple times already but felt like trying something new so I got the California Burrito. They didn't give a receipt but I am guessing it is around $12-13. And I think the tacos are now around $2.50-$2.70. They take card and cash but I believe card has tax. They have the salsas and onions/cilantro out in the table in front of the truck so you can grab yourself while waiting for the food. The food took around 10 minutes are so which wasn't bad. The California burrito was nice and big and very delicious. It comes with steak fries inside with your choice of pork or beef. I went with pork after asking the lady which one she recommended. And it was good! There is also some sauce but I couldn't tell if there was any guacamole. Maybe there was but very little. But the thicker fries was just a perfect combination with the pork and sauce. The only thing lacking is a bit more meat to balance out the fries and some guacamole. I tried a California burrito at another taco truck before but this one is so much better! I will be getting this again and try the beef. I totally recommend this taco truck for tacos and burritos! They taste authentic but just a bit pricer for the tacos. I would say it is more worth on Taco Tuesdays when it is cheaper. This is my go-to taco truck spot.

It's across the street from Ducks. Hard to miss their truck when they're there. I would be careful of any illegal u-turns as there's also a police station nearby. I normally get tacos but their nachos, fries, dirty dog, and flautas are really good! They also have weekly specials. I haven't tried their fish tacos, burritos, or tortas yet but im assuming they wouldn't disappoint. Their sauce bar is basic but has everything you need. Their to-go cups are at the pick up window, probably to help with waste. I dont think their sauces are very spicy but they're fine. My fave is their salsa verde. They're open late which is nice after events. They're fast and super nice! the line can get long at times. 4/5. Would come back again.

I had driven by this place countless times when working in that area but never tried it…read more One day about 2 months ago, at the stop sign beside it, I kept staring at the big photo/sign saying FISH TACOS $2.49 each. I was starving. I parked and went in. I ordered 2 fish tacos and the cook instantly got 2 FRESH (not frozen) larger than expected, fish fillets, THEN dipped them into HOMEMADE BATTER right in front of me and dropped them into the fry basket. Where will you ever see that nowadays? They were ready almost instantly, and were done perfect Baja style, with lots of that good salty mayo+crema white sauce. THEY WERE AWESOME. And BIG. And would have cost WAY MORE at any other place...for $5. Really satisfying, I was NOT hungry after 2 of them. Since then I have probably been there 7 times, the quality has never varied. And they make all their own salsas, etc. I have even taken jobs down in that area just so I can eat there! ;-) The only other thing I have tried is taco de lengua, it was equally excellent, with LOTS of meat, not some skimpy little street taco thing. But just go there and see what $5 will get you with the fish tacos, this has to be the best deal in today's food world that I have found and I work all over the San Gabriel Valley and eat at dozens of places. Its not fancy though, old school with lots of handmade cardboard signs showing lots of other dishes, but this is the ambiance you will find in some of the BEST mom and pop type cafe's. The ratio of deliciousness and quality to price is insanely in favor of the customer!!

This place has been serving the community since 1979. Street parking only. Service is friendly, prompt. No frills but appears authentic enough. There are about 20 indoor seating (booths & tables). The cafe is fairly clean. Our order was ready in a jiffy. Got fresh salsa from the counter along with pickled carrots, onions & jalapeños. Not bad but the menudo lacked depth & richness, so did the albondigas. Overall a good experience at least once.
