I was visiting LA and staying at an air BnB walking distance from this place and read online to try their signature latte called The Marlowe. It is iced with cinnamon cream top and pretty good! Kind of tasted like s'mores but I did add one extra sugar to make it a little bit more sweet. The service was fast and the decor is minimalist vibe so it felt classy and chic. I would definitely go back next time I am in town!
You can get coffee anywhere, but the environment here is light and bright, great for studying or work remote type vibes. Friends catching up, or a simple stop in, enjoy your coffee and on to the next location. When I walked in they were not busy at all, a few baristas behind the counter. The girl that took my order was nice and straight to the point. Definitely returning for the ambiance. Also light music being played for a good vibes type feels. Oh the coffee. I got a caramel latte with almond milk. You can actually taste the coffee flavors. 5/5 thank you to the establishment's owners for creating a vibe.
930 an, Thursday, December 18, 2025 First time trying Marlowe Coffee & Eatery thanks to the big green machine being closed down the street! Haha. It was a short walk east and across the street from Ralph's. Watch out for drippy, leaky, ill fitting lids. This is due to the lip of the coffee cup. It wasn't manufactured perfectly smooth for a tight seal with the plastic lid. Hence the dribbling from the cup when sipping, and all over my jacket and pants. Friendly staff. The interaction with the cashier was good. I asked for a large coffee when looking at their menu and only saw a regular size for most of their choices. She said the drip coffee came in a 16 oz cup. I wasn't happy with the leaky cup & lid. Unfortunate, but moving on. I had a good convo with my colleague at the little side table with two chairs. It wasn't too busy at mid morning. A nice little coffee shop on Wilshire.
Inside of the coffee shop is so cute! Neutral and beige colors and the lighting inside is warm. Lots of couches, chairs, and bar chairs to sit at and do work. The barista was very kind and service was quick! Ice honey lavender latte 4/5 typical flavors! Has a nice espresso coffee taste and the honey tastes yummy. I would order the drink again
Delicious signature Marlowe Latte! I didn't expect much from it, but I loved the cinnamon-maple cream top and it was super smooth. Reminded me of the cream top coffees I usually find in ktown. The baristas were super nice, service was quick, and it's a very clean vibe inside with a ton of small personal/2 person chairs.
The coffee was good, the place felt spacious and the people behind the counter were friendly. There was a relaxed vibe to the place that I liked. Unfortunately, I was looking for something to eat as well and as I looked at the menu, nothing really jumped out at me. I would go back for coffee but if I am looking for something to eat as well, I will probably look at other options.
Marlowe has a super cute aesthetic and the drinks are decent. Parking is fairly easy with metered street spots or a nearby retail structure. That said, the service always feels a bit cold and not very welcoming. Maybe that's the intended vibe, but it definitely stands out.

I was sad it only came in one small size because I needed more it was that good! The only downside was the price, $9 for what would be considered a small.
I went on a Sunday morning and it was nearly empty inside. There's a good amount of seating for those who want to sit and chat. Service was good but the matcha was just fine. Nothing to write home about here
A great option for a coffee shop in Miracle Mile. Great and super friendly service too. We tried two lattes: the Marlowe, with cinnamon cream top, and the Root Beer Latte, a special menu item. The root beer latte had a unique and great flavor--it definitely deserves a permanent spot on the menu.
The food is great! We ordered the garden bagel on an everything bagel and it was salted perfectly! The cream cheese tasted perfectly on bagel and the avocado on top was delicious. The bagel avocado had great avocado spread and the cheese on top tasted delicious. It was soft and chewy! The drinks we ordered also tasted great. The ice peach tea was a little bit too sweet so we added some water and the rose sparkling lemonade tasted good. You can taste the hints of rose in it and the lemonade wasn't too sour which I was initially worried about. The server was really nice in taking our order! She was really patient and kind in calling out our orders! The atmosphere of the cafe is also pleasant with plenty of seating. There's two restrooms inside and even parking in the rear which is usually a problem for cafes in downtown. There's also plenty of street parking.
One of my favorite neighborhood cafes! I'm super obsessed with their signature Marlowe latte, which is a delicious latte with a simply amazing cinnamon cream top. You can just tell their coffee is such high quality! The space is airy, beautiful, and elegant and perfect for getting some work done. A plus is free parking in the garage behind the shop. Highly recommend :)
I don't usually write reviews, but today I felt like I had to share this experience. This coffee shop used to be one of my go-to places. It actually reminded me of my hometown, which is why I kept coming back--even though the prices are higher than in many other places. I was always happy to pay extra because I truly enjoyed one specific drink: an Americano with their cream top, which I would purchase as an add-on. Typically, this cream is offered on iced drinks, but due to health reasons, I don't drink iced coffee, and I simply prefer my drinks without ice. Until now, this was never an issue. Today, for the first time in my life, I was refused service for that request. I was told that management recently decided not to allow this customization anymore in order to keep a "consistent customer experience." To be honest, I find this very disappointing. I've been working in marketing and customer experience for over 10 years, and this is not how you build or maintain customer relationships. Even if a new policy is being implemented, there is always a right way to communicate it. A simple solution would have been to accommodate the request this one last time and kindly explain that it wouldn't be possible moving forward. Instead, I drove out of my way for something I've ordered many times before, only to be refused without flexibility. I want to be clear--this is not about the staff. They were polite and simply following instructions. This is about the policy and how it was handled. In most places that truly value their customers, reasonable customization is not an issue. Whether it's removing an ingredient from a dish or adjusting a drink, small accommodations go a long way in building loyalty. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed.

Cute interior and I really appreciate the free parking in the area. I got The Marlowe and it was pretty good. I wasn't blown away but l wouldn't mind having it again. It was $7.50, which felt expensive for the size but isn't out of the ordinary for LA. I also got an almond croissant and it wasn't my favorite. A lot of almond paste and some squeezed on top - just not my type of pastry! read more

LOVE their signature Marlowe Latte - exquisite with cinnamon maple cream on top. A great treat just by itself. Their avocado bagel is great - the combination of cream cheese, fresh cucumber and pickled red onion give it a delightful taste, just enough protein but not too heavy or greasy. At $5-7 per cup, their coffee drinks are at par with most local shops in the area; their food items are around $10-12. I think it's reasonable and I've come here a few times because their atmosphere is so nice! The modern but homey decor is beautiful, calming, and relaxing. If you like white/beige toned interior you may fine this place nice and welcoming. We've had good service here - while they are often busy, I see their staff making every effort to serve the customers and keep the place clean. read more

I was looking for a coffee shop to work from today, and I think I've found the perfect place! The setup caters to working individuals with its high tables and plenty of wall plugs, the tables even had cutouts for comfortably connecting devices. It's a practical setup yet bright and very aesthetically pleasing. The vibe matched the tone of the place. It was pretty quiet, with LoFi music playing in the background. Very conducive for quiet moments to yourself with a cup of coffee as well. I ordered the Marlowe latte which was amazing. The sweet cream was rich in cinnamon and tasted just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch but not overly sweet! The coffee itself was strong and paired well with the creamy flavor. I would absolutely come back and order this again! read more

I've been coming here pretty frequently since it first opened. I was really excited to have a cute cafe walking distance from me. The space has a nice design with multiple seating options both indoor and out front. It does get pretty busy during peak hours with people working from the cafe so finding a seat is pretty difficult sometimes. I love their egg white wrap although it does sell out fast! The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because they recently changed the matcha they use and it is a big difference. Doesn't taste as good and you can even tell by the color :( Otherwise a great spot! read more
This cafe was the perfect remote workspace during the week for me. Street parking wasnt bad at all and the drink I had was soo sweet and yummy. The space is neutral colored which is very calming for working. I can't wait to go back. read more
A staple coffee shop that was so desperately needed in Miracle Mile! I've been here numerous times, and I love everything about this cafe. It's always so clean and full of people working. The staff are so friendly and sweet. I always spend 5-min contemplating what I want, and they never mind. Service is also really quick compared to Starbucks. I can highly recommend the iced vanilla latte, iced matcha with vanilla or lavender, and their ham & cheese croissant is to die for. Support your local small business over corporations! read more

Marlowe has become one of my favorite cafes, and I have been to many! I just visited it today for the first time and everything was amazing. I got an americano with a blueberry cream too which was so good. The food was fantastic. I got the garden bagel, which I am definitely recreating at home! A very spacious environment with wonderful customer service. They also offer prepared drinks and lunches, from freshly squeezed orange juice to wraps. Even though there aren't many outlets around the seats, I will say their WiFi is pretty quick and their seating is very comfy in case you want to do work here. I stayed to study for a couple of hours and it was a nice experience. I definitely recommend this cafe! read more
The recently-opened Marlowe Coffee located in Mid-Wilshire has a classy yet minimalist decor, with both tables that are well-sized for working and also a cute couch for yapping. The mirrors on the wall add a nice homey touch to the space. We got there around 9 a.m. and we were able to easily find seats, although it does get busier later in the day. The table height is a little low for working, although the height varies a lot depending on the table and which side you sit on. Their menu is simple with just your most traditional coffee and matcha offerings, but that's perfect for my indecisiveness. My friend got the Marlowe and I got their latte, and we both agreed that it was a nice coffee drink with chocolatey notes that is well-complimented by their milk. ( think they use Clover milk and Califia Farms Barista Blend.) The cherry on top was that the WiFi was outstandingly fast (500 Mbps), some tables had outlets, and the barista was so nice! Music is pretty chill and not too loud. read more

I came here solely based on the ambiance, which I'd say feels like a fancy lobby/study space with some nooks and tables for people to sit and work. Their brown checkered motif on their hot cups add to their style. I ordered the Iced Matcha Cream Top, which was good. It was a bit milky, but the cream top was fun and added a slight sweetness to the drink. I also tried a sip of my friend's The Marlowe, and that one was better. I would have wanted to grab a bite to eat here too, but the options are quite limited so I decided against it. The baristas are upbeat and friendly. I think I would come back to study and for one of their coffee options. read more
The menu is simple, no frills. The Marlowe (Cinnamon Cream Top Latte) was perfectly creamy and sweet and I love the unique cinnamon cream top! Ambiance is great, super spacious, natural lighting, has wifi, and a lot of seating. The Barista was also very kind. I'll be back! read more

In love with the simple chic design of the venue and how peaceful the ambiance was to get work done, or simply for quiet reading. The space was less busy than my expectation for a weekend, especially given it's relatively new. I got their Caramel Latte, which I thought was kinda costly for the cup size. It's also as I went for almond milk instead of the default dairy milk. The coffee itself was okay, but short waiting time and cozy space could be a win. read more

Looove this place Delicious coffee! Ordered the iced Marlowe which was heavenly. I am a coffee lover and go all over town 'cause good coffee is worth the drive, and this one is new on my favorites list. Love the interior decor, seating, and food items. Free parking is rare in the Wilshire/Miracle Mile district. So it's a bonus that they have free 1-hour parking in the parking garage they are attached to. There are tables and chairs on one side, great for working. But the power outlets are on the other side of the cafe where one table and four barstools are near. And there might be another outlet near the sofa but not really conducive for working. Anyway, the service was excellent. The bathroom is super clean and matches the decor and ambiance of the cafe. I believe it's pet friendly because there were pups inside at the time. Also some seating outside in front, streetside. read more

What a beautiful coffee shop in the miracle mile area. I appreciate the staff who were very kind and they also have dogs treats which is a plus. The matcha cream top is mildly savory and delicious.. and the tiramisu chia was balanced and hearty. So happy to stumble upon this place read more

Nothing impressive, coffee was a bit too bland for my taste. I don't taste any fresh coffee notes, tasted mostly the cream and milk. I rather travel to tilt coffee downtown, or yeems coffee for a coffee with cream on top. read more

I stopped by Marlowe recently this past weekend and really enjoyed my visit! I ordered the Marlowe, basically an iced latte that came with a creamy top--simple but really well done. The cream top was mixed with cinnamon and I just want to know why no one else has done this! It's the best cream top ever. Prices were pretty standard. What also stood out to me the most was the interior--it's beautifully designed with trendy furniture and a calm, stylish atmosphere. It was quiet too, which made it a great place to relax or get some work done. Service was quick and efficient. Overall, a great spot I'd definitely return to. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in LA - every single person behind the register is SO kind and personable and fun. I love Carlos and Jonah and Erika! The vibe is right and the coffee is insane. Best drip in LA, it's chocolatey. Espresso also delicious, the Marlowe signature drink is absolutely perfection but be ware, you'll slurp it down in two minutes it's so good. Dogs are welcome and it's honestly also the best WiFi at any coffee shop. Free parking behind in the garage as well! It doesn't get any better. read more
