This is a nice little coffee shop that's located right across from the famous pink wall, the decoration is simple. I order a sandwich and a Matcha drink. The sandwich was fresh, but the Matcha is very blend, actually not good at all.... I'm not sure about the coffee, overall, I think it's a nice place for people to rest and use the restroom and get some refreshment. It has plenty of seating.

Stopped into Carrera to grab a latte while we waited for our dinner reservations. Staff were welcoming and quick preparing our drinks. Location was cute and clean and looks out into The Pink Wall at Paul Smith. Fun to sit and watch all the tourists taking their photos at the wall!

Quintessential LA cafe! Food is ahhmazing! Service was quick. The ambiance is relaxed, semi-quiet, and bright. Great spot for BBL!

Came here for a brand activation. This is a nice cafe with plenty of seating. I easily could've ordered at least seven different things from them menu as their drinks all sound so tempting. The matcha I ordered was a little too bitter for my liking but I'm still willing to try it again (as well as many other menu items).

Food is still good/pricey. One thing that was different that I didn't mention years ago was we had to get our food at the counter. I can't recall if we had to do that back then. Guy was nice at the counter answering all our questions which is why I tipped.

Veeerrry cute! I was waiting for a date and since the pink wall is easy to find I figured this was a good place to meet. I ordered the coconut latte with cold foam iced. So good! They had a good selection of pastries and the interior is decorated very cute. I was disappointed the little patio area seemed kind of under construction. There were only a couple tables and idk it was fine but didn't feel particularly welcoming. Iirc a couple chairs were stacked but it was later in the afternoon so maybe they were about to close. I would definitely return even though the date was mid lol

I love coming back to this coffee shop. The baristas make amazing foam, even though it's someone new every time The pastries are absolutely incredible -- the Nutella donut and almond croissant are my favorites. For my husband, I usually get a scone since it's not as sweet. The restroom is always clean, and there's great outdoor seating with a view of the pink wall full of tourists.

Work in the Melrose/Wilshire area and you are looking for a place to grab lunch? Definitely hit up Carrera's! I know most people come here for the printed lattes but you need to check out their pastas! I honestly wasn't planning to eat here at all that day but I decided to try their penne pasta and I am so glad I did. It is a very decent size portion, my photo doesn't even do it justice. The flavor was delicious and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The cafe itself is small in the inside but there is some seating to get work done if needed. There are outlets to charge your devices and free wifi as well.

I stopped in mainly to use their WiFi for work, but I ordered a coconut matcha (I've seen them all over the place and have been curious about the taste), and it wasn't very good. The coconut water should be a bit sweeter, and I'm pretty picky about my matcha so this probably wasn't the best place to order that. I don't think there are any outlets, so this isn't somewhere to stay for long if you're trying to work or study for a while.

Quick stop to refill and work a bit on the laptop!

Stopped in for lunch and left a little torn. On the plus side, the place is really charming. The interior has a fun, Parisian café feel, and the handwritten marker menu on the white brick wall is especially eye-catching. It's the kind of place where I could easily grab a coffee and hang out for an afternoon. I ordered the Carrera Club sandwich. Flavor-wise, it was good, and the ingredients tasted fresh, and I also really liked the dressing that came with the small side salad. That said, the portion was very small for what you pay. It didn't really feel like a full meal, at least not for the price. The sandwich was $18 plus tax, which felt hard to justify, given the size, even considering the West Hollywood location. I noticed the pastas looked more reasonably portioned, so if I come back, that's probably the route I'll go. Overall, the ambiance is a big win here, but the pricing and portion sizes make it tough to fully recommend for lunch. I'd love to give this place a higher rating because the vibe is great, but it just feels a tad too expensive for me to really recommend it.

The coffee was pretty good, the latte art was super fun, the pastry cabinet looked delicious, but we didn't try anything because we were on our way to breakfast, and the service was friendly but a little disorganized. We had cappuccinos and some sort of cookie dough special latte which sounded excessively sweet, but really wasn't too bad. I was actually shocked they didn't make it too sweet. Overall I'd recommend, mainly because of the super fun latte art. It's definitely pricey. I think our coffees are about $10 each. It probably wouldn't be my every day coffee stop, but I'm definitely glad we went!

I stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant is right in front of the Pink Wall on Melrose, so it's easy to spot if you're in the area. The vibe is nice with a modern look and a fairly condensed menu. I tried the Burrata Caprese and my husband tried the Carrera Club. The sandwich was okay, nothing to write home about. It's not bad if you're nearby and need a bite, but if you're looking for an amazing sandwich, don't set your expectations too high. The sandwich is on the smaller side; I don't eat much, and it was barely enough for lunch. That said, the people at the counter were friendly, which was a plus.

Can you get the latte art on iced lattes or only hot?

Hi Emily, I'm afraid that the latte art does not work on iced lattes. It only works with hot…

Then what mural is up right now?

    It is Atomic blonde.

Does someone know if the La La Land wall art is still up?:)

No, it's gone :( in June it was Snoop Dog and Martha Stewart... and there was a Rainbow Wall across the street.

Honestly if it wasn't late already we will not be dining here with that attitude. Our server on the other hand was absolutely welcoming and amazing. My kid was cold outside, she offered to let us sit inside instead, we didn't really want to wait longer so she brought us a blanket. That was so very nice of her. The music in this place was insanely loud. Honestly had my ears ringing 20 mins after I left the restaurant. Food was great. Grilled Branzino was great with the pine nuts. Total perfection. Saffron pici was my favorite. Lamb ragu is soft and flavorful. Dessert We had the chocolate tart and strawberry crostata, love both of them. For 3 adults and 1 kid including tip around $400. It's great for the quality of the food. But not sure if I want to go through the seating situation again. So all in all, maybe once in a blue moon, we will be back.

Everyone was so kind & welcoming. We were greeted & offered drinks as soon as we got seated. He explained the menu very well, was always on top of everything, and kept a positive attitude. Even though it was super busy, we never had to flag anyone down. Our dirty dishes were cleared off the table when done. The food came out not long after we put our order in. Crust was crunchy with a soft, moist interior and extraaa garlic in every bite - it was heaven. The cheese on top was a bonus touch. Fusilli alla Vodka 4/5 - Not spicy. (I'm not a big pasta person so maybe that's why) Linguini & Clams 1000/5 - BEST THING EVER. Very well executed - every bite was so creamy & savory. The broth was phenomenal. If you love clams, you'll love this! (I wonder if there's an option to add extra clams?) Chicken Parm 4/5 - The texture, the flavor, & marinara at the bottom was delicious. Cheese was perfectly melted. Tiramisu 1000/5- Every layer was nice & moist. Not bitter, not overly sweet. Just perfect. One of the best tiramisus I've ever had!
