We got the bright eyes cold brews and the magic latte. The cold brew felt a bit watered down to me. I wish I could taste the flavor of the beans more. The magic latte was good, but it also didn't strike me as very flavorful in terms of the coffee. The spices were not strong but still overpowered the coffee taste. For those who want to do work on their laptop, there's a nice bigger area in the back of the cafe which is super cool! The ambiance/vibes were very hip.

Super cute place! Love that it's next to convi, yumm. I love that they have a back area that's well decorated & there were seatings! Will be back to study one day. I love the decors & vibe! The staffs were really sweet! Street parking

My friend told me about a cute little coffee shop named Jurassic Magic and I was intrigued. Plus, they're next door to Convi, which serves great sandwiches! My friend recommended the Magic Latte, and when I asked the barista for a suggestion, she also recommended it! I knew it was the drink for me, but debated between hot and iced. She suggested hot, and it was the perfect choice. I really enjoyed the Magic Latte - while I didn't get any magical powers, I loved the caffeine kick and the delicious taste. I will definitely be back for more magical lattes!

I've been to Jurassic Magic a couple of times and yet haven't reviewed it until now. Every time I've been, the lush backyard never fails to impress me. It's always nice to come here in the quiet hours of the morning and spend some time reading. Staff are always friendly and I never have to wait long for my drinks, even though there's always been a line every time I've been here. There is wifi available, but this place isn't really a remote work spot- they only have low tables inside and not a lot of seating. I've gotten both coffee and matcha here before and both are great. They have a lot of drink specials which I always make sure to order.

Walked in and the environment was so cool!! There was a great space in the back with greenery and seated spots. The store next door was a market that also served small dishes and snacks. I loved my experience and the service was so kind. I can't wait to come back again to study.

Jurassic Magic had been on my list of cafes to try for some time, and after two visits I can safely say I'm a fan! I appreciate the personable and welcoming employee interactions, and their menu offers your standard espresso-based and matcha drinks along with their own unique concoctions. I tried their Fall Basics drink, which was an iced Americano garnished with cacao nibs, a chocolate-yuzu cold foam, and citrus zest. It was a refreshing beverage that I consumed quickly, and the flat white I tried on a subsequent visit was well-crafted. I was impressed by the garden seating area that is located in the rear section of the cafe. It feels like a hidden oasis as you walk past the vinyl recordings and other merchandise on sale. There are also various tables lining the sidewalk in front of the shop.

MAGICAL NEIGHBORHOOD MID-CITY CAFE Lucky to have this café within walking distance, definitely a local gem. PARKING Can be tough on weekends, especially between 9-11 a.m. It's a busy residential corner with limited spots, so plan accordingly. PASTRY The gluten-free chocolate doughnut is ridiculously good: rich, moist, and honestly better than Sidecar. Rating: 5/5 COFFEE The cappuccino quality depends on who's behind the machine. I prefer mine strong with more espresso than milk, but the last one leaned a little too milky. Rating: 4/5 OVERALL Don't miss the backyard patio, it's got the best vibe. The striped umbrellas out front are great for chatting with locals, dog-watching, or soaking up some sun. Staff is warm and welcoming, which seals the deal. RATING: 5/5 HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This truly is a little pocket of magic tucked away in the corner of my neighborhood that brings me so much joy every time I come. The place itself has great outdoor seating, and is always such a nice way to meet cool people and cute dogs in the community, but if you go in thru the looking glass in the back you'll find yourself in a truly magical outdoor hang space that is also an installation for local vendors. The coffee is expertly prepared using great beans and the specialty and seasonal drinks are always a hit. I'd be remiss not to mention how lovely the staff are. Everyone not only cares about what they're doing, but they genuinely seem to like working with each other and recognize their value in the community. I've been coming here since they opened and will continue to invite this magic into my life at every opportunity I get. Thanks ya'll!

Great quality coffee & lots of delicious food & pastry items (their ham & cheese croissants are perfect) Super cute spot with lots of indoor seating & great vibes if you want to socialize over a cup of coffee I had the Gentle Giant & it had a strong herbal taste from the cardamom which gave it a unique flavor Would definitely come back & try a different one of their specialty coffees

Stumbled upon this place on a whim. I love the aesthetic. Reminds me of the neighborhood of my coming of age. Very sweetly decorated, with a special nook in the back. Not pictured (so as not to spoil your surprise). Knowledgeable attendant suggested this sugar crusted croissant textured pastry, it was so delightful. The matcha latte was ok. Overall my total was just over $15 which I thought was steep, but I'd come back.

Probably my favorite coffee shop in all of LA. Every coffee drink is fantastic & crave worthy. Can't get enough of the gentle giant, mellow lover espresso tonic, and goldblum! The space is beautiful, with curated art, quirky decor & unique handmade items. The lovely tucked away back garden is a nice little zen moment. Whenever I'm in town this is the place I go to start my day off right...usually with one of the chocolate donuts!

One thing LA does best are aesthetic and hip cafes! Come for quality coffee and baked goods, but stay for even better vibes. I ordered the Magic latte, which was smooth, creamy, and had a deep roasted flavor. In it they use their Jurassic spice which is essentially chai. I sampled the Gentle Giant which also was a great choice if you're on the fence on what to try. But wait! Don't leave after getting your drink!! Wander through the mirrored hallway and step into their garage-turned-forest backyard. Decorated with lush greenery, art, and sunlight streaming in, it's the type of place that invites you to stay for awhile! My friends and I ended up sitting for much longer than planned, just soaking in the atmosphere and taking pics. Street parking is free, though it can be a little tricky to find. Still, it's totally worth the walk to find this charming cafe.

Wanted to try a new matcha spot and was immediately drawn to the quirky vibes of this cafe. I liked the personality of the decor and the many colors and things to look at. They had plenty of seating outside and also further into the store as well. I decided to try the magic matcha which came out pretty quickly after ordering despite how many orders/people there were. The matcha was okay, not amazing. I wish there was a deeper/more in depth matcha flavor but it just felt like cinnamon on top of some generic matcha drink. I think I would try the other drinks on their menu next time.

It has everything I look for in a coffee shop/cafe: a robust menu of delicious beverage and food options, a good amount of comfortable seating, free parking (in the back), late hours, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance. My friend and I came in late on a Saturday night, and we were able to find parking and seating easily. We ordered the Rose Milk Cake and Kunafa Cheesecake, and we agreed that the former was definitely the standout of the two desserts. It reminded me a bit of Tres Leches - soft and moist sponge cake soaked in a delicious rose water-infused milk, topped with fluffy whipped cream. We had no trouble finishing the entire slice and leaving no crumbs behind. I was a bit underwhelmed with the Kunafa Cheesecake; it tasted like a standard cheesecake (on the drier side as well) with some shredded phyllo dough piled on top, and it didn't really remind me of Kunafa. However, I'd still be down to come back and try some of the other desserts, as well as their coffee. I loved the beautifully designed interior of the shop, especially the soaring ceilings and the stunning arched windows on the second floor. It seems like a pretty popular spot for both studying as well as catching up with friends. Overall, I really enjoyed Qamaria and am looking forward to returning!

Unfortunately, I think the vibe is completely off with this type of food, and I think it's hurting their customer base (I.e, there's a sports watching day, and live DJ?, but the food is definitely more for upscale vibes). I also didn't know they have a rotating menu with different chefs, so when I came in craving for something like steak frites and find out the don't have it even though their sample menu lists it on their website, it kind of throws my mood a little. Moreover, their wine list is not extensive considering it's a wine bar, and wine mentioned in their name :) Anyways I've digressed. With this special menu, I ordered the scallop tostada and maitake taco. The scallops were very fresh, and it was a very well balanced dish. I would totally order this again! The maitake mushroom was exploding with flavors, though I find the sauce a little too salty for my taste. If I came here just for food, I'd come back and try new things!

We ordered: -Shrimp cigars -Oyster (and scallop) Cardinale -Salmon tartare -Steak frites -Pork toro panang (with some roti on the side to sop up the sauce) -Calpico ice cream (with fig jam and crispy rice) And of course plenty of delicious wine! I was also able to play some of my old French records on their record player on the later side with was fun! Another criteria they were looking for was a nice place to hang out. We ended up deciding on Green Table Cafe because my daughter said that this cafe sold smoothies and it was a cute place based on the pictures she saw online. Once we got to the cafe, it had an inviting vibe and the gentleman behind the counter was friendly, but I wasn't a fan of the Chocotino smoothie and the table we sat at was not cleaned prior to us sitting there. Green Table Cafe is located in Los Angeles specifically on Pico Blvd. and Stearns Drive. It's next to an India Spices & Groceries store and it's across the street from CVS. Parking is mainly street parking and we found a metered parking spot across the street that didn't cost too much. Once we entered the cafe, we were greeted by small red car that someone could win if you participate in their $20/ticket raffle and a welcome greeting from the gentleman behind the counter. It's definitely a cute and inviting place with a large painted sentence "Love what you do Do it with LOVE" on the wall behind the counter. There are other inspirational wall art scattered around the restaurant. There are floral decorations throughout, wooden slat ceiling, natural light, and other accents that match the vibe. There are round marble tables with blue velvet and blue plastic chairs, a skinny wooden table with a sofa, and there are covered outdoor seating. Not sure if the gentlemen behind the counter was the owner or manager, but he was customer service oriented and was friendly to every customer who entered the cafe. My review is solely based on the smoothie I ordered because that's all I experienced. If we ever visit again, I would like to try their food and desserts because the desserts and pastries looked enticing. The description of their savory food on their menu made them sound delicious, but I won't know until I try. Based on its name, the verbiage on the menu, and what I drank, it appears Green Table Cafe is for the healthy conscious consumer. Their menu consists of coffee drinks, smoothies, superfood bowls, salads, and burgers/paninis. The words gluten-free, kale, quinoa, acai, hemp milk, and mint extract hearken to someone with a vegan diet. I'm a carnivore and I like to eat whatever I enjoy, so I'm probably not their target customer. I ordered their Chocotino smoothie and I wasn't a fan from the first sip to the last. The Chocotino is made with almond milk, banana, cacao, protein powder, rolled oats, almond yogurt, dark chocolate, peppermint oil, and goji berries. It leaned heavily on a peppermint taste and when I let my daughter taste it, she said it reminded her of a York peppermint patty candy. I definitely was not a fan and I almost brought it back to exchange, but I kept hoping it would taste better. I stirred it with my straw, but it didn't change my disdain for this smoothie. My kiddos got the smoothies they craved and a place that was a cool place to hang out. I didn't enjoy my smoothie, but that's what parents do. We make sacrifices for our kids.
