Coffee shop with Asian twist! Certainly triggering my excitement to the ceiling, especially spotting Yuanyang Latte on their menu, carrying out a blend of Oolong syrup and espresso shot. What I loved about their version was it's not overly bold like original one typically served in any kopitiam which I loved but not my tummy (yep deep frowned); so Halfday thanks for inventing this version for me! First sip and it got me sold; pretty surprised that the oolong was just syrup yet the flavor stood out pretty bold. The coffee also suited my liking, solid in flavor yet not acidic. One improvement I wish would be to have the online pre-order to be kept open until the outlet's closing time. We were heading there an our pre-closing time and intended to pre-order yet the online order seemed to close earlier. The venue itself was simple with minimal table and mostly just seats for quick coffee stop. They did have couple tables at the front patio should you fancy being outdoor.

I've worked near this area for a few years, and seeing the addition of this coffee shop truly warmed my heart. I stopped by to check it out and was greeted with smiles all around. The menu is simple yet thoughtfully curated, featuring unique coffees and teas sourced from Ethiopia, Asia, and South America. They also offer specialty-crafted coffee and tea made in-house. The barista took the time to explain the menu and persuaded me to try the Ethiopian pour-over, the Alo Village -- a great recommendation. Prices are in line with what you'd expect from a boutique coffee shop, but the quality made it well worth it. The shop itself is small and not ideal for lingering inside, though they do offer a few outdoor tables and seating. A welcome addition to the neighborhood and definitely worth a visit.

I was in the area on my way to run an errand and stopped by. The drive was simple, and there was free street parking available. Look for the orange plastic stools, and you've found the place! Their menu is a good size and varied. I ordered their Yuzu Matcha Tonic and a regular drip coffee. It cost $14.40 with tip. The matcha tonic was delicious! The sweetness was subtle. I could taste the earthiness of the matcha and the tartness of the tonic. I enjoy tonics this way. The drip was OK. The acidity was mild. The service was cool, the staff were welcoming, and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. Unfortunately, this isn't a spot for studying or remote work. There are no tables, but plenty of seating. Folks were taking their drinks to-go, probably heading to work. It is a good social spot to catch up with friends. They also sell pastries, which I didn't get to try on this visit. I'm definitely coming back!

I drove 45 min for this, and it was worth it. This coffee shop is for someone with strong opinions on beans, roast, and/or method (me). This place is also for someone who enjoys interesting lattes and fun, seasonal drinks (also me). The Yuanyang latte (coffee x black tea) is a must try. The seasonal plum espresso tonic made with salted plum was also amazing. Seating inside but no tables. Two outdoor tables for people to do work.

Coffee was a 4/5 ngl. I ordered an iced latte with simple syrup. Of note, they don't have caramel syrup. Gna say def a stronger coffee which is great if u actually like coffee but im a fake coffee liker (more milk the better). The croissant was a fricken 7/5 it was so crunchy but gooey in the inside it was literally delicious. I agree with the previous post about how this is not a place for remote study but it is so cutesy inside. And the workers r so pleasant and kind. Would return. Friend had the Guava cheese danish and she loveees it and says it is quote "to die for" Would return if in the area.

A perfect iced vanilla latte, not too sweet !

This is such a cute little neighborhood coffee shop! I love that I can walk there and every single time I've gone, whether it was a quiet morning or if it was packed the staff has been so friendly, taking their time with your drink and making sure it's done right. You can tell they really care about their coffee and craft. I was so impressed that even after not visiting for over a month, they remembered my name! Here's to supporting small businesses and check them out when you're in the area. Oh, and they're dog friendly!

Really cute little spot for a cup of coffee. The space is bright and light feeling. Service was inviting and friendly. There are a couple of tables outside but on a bright hot day it could be too toasty without umbrellas. I came here mainly as a quick stop because I was doing laundry near by so I can't really speak to the ability to work or study for a prolonged period of time but the iced matcha latte I got was well balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Next time I'm doing laundry I'll stop by again.

Matcha Latte + eaten Guava Cheese Danish (too yummy)

I love that this place opened up in my neighborhood! It's so good, especially their guava cheese danish! I always ask for my matcha to be extra sweet bc the baseline is a bit bitter (as matcha should be) I'm just a sweet tooth who enjoys extra sweet. I recommend adding the vanilla to your matcha latte if you are like me.

My new local coffee spot. So happy they are in the neighborhood. I had an iced matcha with hibiscus syrup. Very yummy! The place is cute, minimalist and has good energy. Service is great, Josh and Julie are nice! Very excited to see them grow! I will be coming here regularly ‍

Super cute and quant coffee shop. I was at the pottery class next door and after I saw the shop. The next time I came I decided I wanted to give it a try. They have a small defined menu, coffee match and hot chocolate. I decided to go for the macha. The barista told me they had one mixed with apple juice. Of course I got it. It was so good! You can tell it is not the over processed apple juice they use. If you like the earth tasting matcha this isn't it (it is better). My friend got the matcha with vanilla syrup and she liked it. I will def be trying another drink next time. Also the cups how cute.

Intimate well-curated space off Jefferson. My cold brew was smooth and fruity. Baristas obviously are very intentional in their craft.

Matcha Cream Top ($7.75)-- I looooove me a nice and thick cream top and this place does it amazingly. It's thick and perfectly sweetened and doesn't melt with the drink/ice. It stays perfectly thick and still and above the matcha unless you mix it in. The matcha is also really nice and rich. None of the bland or grassy taste. Just genuine good matcha! Chocolate Forest ($7.75)-- Basically same as above but the cream on top tastes like Milo/Ovaltine mixed in. It's a nice and sweet nostalgic taste. Not a hint of bitterness so if you want mocha/dark chocolate this is not the one for you. It's more happy kid hot chocolate vibes. I ended up parking in the neighborhood, but it was one of those 4 parking street signs layered on top of each other, designed to confuse the heck out of you. I ended up taking a photo and running it through Gemini to make sure I was safe to park. Okay, parking aside, mu.so is located in large black office building-- they do put out a little "coffee" sign on the sidewalk. When you do see it, the actual coffee shot is small, but there's a whole backyard patio area with plenty of space for you to hang out. Anyways, I went with their iced americano with lavender cream top. I've been to a lot of coffee shops, but haven't run into a lavender cream top-- so of course I had to try. I thought it was pretty good, the cream top was a good pairing w/ the americano-- it sweetened the coffee, without making it too sweet or heavy. The lavender brought a light floral flavor to the coffee. While it's nothing life changing, I did think, it's a solid cup of coffee, it's worth a try, but probably not worth a dedicated drive over. I also picked up a blueberry muffin, because honestly, I love everything blueberry. I'd pass on it, but I'd recommend trying something else-- like the crossiants, which looked tastier. Overall, I might come by again and try one of their other drinks. While it wasn't bad, I expected a little more from a "signature' drink.
