Stopped by Mad Lab Coffee to check out their tasty coffee drinks! Their regular ice coffee utilized a coffee bean co-fermented wih green apple and indeed had a prominent apple taste followed by coffee flavors. Sadly they were out of this type of bean until next week, otherwise we would have definitely gotten them! The dolly latte had everything I ever wanted in a latte. Not only was the espresso and milk combined really nicely, but also it was slightly sweetened with ?caramel, almost reminded me of sweet condensed milk. Overall it tasted like a combination of an American latte with Viet coffee! Staff were nice and friendly. Some bench seating on the inside but lots of tables/chairs outside. The seafoam green is hard to miss and pretty aesthetically pleasing in contrast to the shades of coffee brown. Street parking only. Would definitely stop by next time I'm in town!

I'm always looking for a cozy local, artisan coffee place near my hood and this one hit the spot. They roast their own beans and wow! Got an iced latte (baristas choose the week's beans) and loved their pick -- yergacheffe. The mid-city Pico location is far from status-seeking crowds and a chill place to hang out over great brews. Looking forward to trying other flavors, as well as their unique specialty drinks.

Service 5/5 - @ 7am NY morning, amazing. Good music when walking in and barista played a song I was listening to the night before. Coffee was 5/5 - good espresso flavor and reasonably priced Ambiance - 5/5 , small interior but has outdoor seating and street parking.

My partner and I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was just as the barista had stepped away. Once they came back, a few other folks came by, so it does ebb and flow in terms of business. This is their second location, with their first one being on Sunset, but I prefer this one because of the wider variety of parking options, even if it can be a walk at times. What I got: - Giddy up: $7 - Espresso tonic: $4 - Morning bun: $4-7 (can't remember the exact price anymore). Ginormously sugary and delicious - perfect with my Giddy Up. I'd like to try their other drinks, especially their matchas. Yhere is a small-ish inside cafe, but it was closed when I was there, so I haven't been in there. And, I opted to sit outside where there are a few tables, chairs, and benches right outside where you order from. The ambiance is relaxed, with speakers playing music. Since this one is on Pico, so parking can be challenging at times because it's rather limited street parking (all of which are paid), but if you drive around a bit, you should be able to find free street parking in the neighbourhood (as long as you don't mind walking a bit).

I was in the area the other day, and I noticed a green business so I went to check it out. The barista was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. I ended up with a matcha latte sweetened with honey and oat milk and my friend got a specialty latte - sugar cookie latte (iced). The drink came standard with oat milk. I think they were both delicious beverages, but the matcha lacked the matcha taste. They have different flavors to sweeten your lattes up. They use one of my favorite oat milk brands here - Minor Figures. The sugar cookie latte was more on the sweeter side, with a slight taste of espresso in each sip. Pricing is average, between $6-7. Parking is street parking. I think you get your average latte and service at this coffee shop!

My new favorite quick coffee spot! Friendly service and cute interior. No table seating area for dine in but great for a grab and go.

My iced mocha was the perfect accompaniment to a day of exploring, but I was so enthralled with their collection of books here that I neglected to capture images of their primary offering: Coffee! Topics ranged from body art and bike culture to punk rock - just a few of my favorite things. Looking forward to stopping by when I am less rushed. Also hoping to explore their other locations in Culver City and Hollywood, that are among my usual haunts when I visit the city.

Mad Lab had a grand opening on April 8th at their new location on 5508 W. Pico Blvd. I heard about their Sunset location through a friend but didn't have the chance to try it until now so what better way than to go to their grand opening! They were very generous to their community and provided free coffee, pastries and breakfast sandwiches on opening day! I met a few of the owners and they were very nice and friendly and grateful we were there. I ordered their Dolly Latte which is their house crafted sweetened latte. It was very delicious, not too sweet and I could still taste the coffee. I liked the color of their cups as well. A creative eye here just making an observation haha. Service on opening day was on point. Very friendly staff and efficient. They were crafting out drink by drink! There was lines out the door and everyone was patient and chill. Ambiance is chill with speakers setup up to play music outside, some tables, chairs and bench right outside. The inside is small but cute, with a wall color that pops. You can also pick up some coffee beans and merch. I picked up a bag of beans, Doc Brown, to take home as I love to grind whole beans and brew my coffee. This has tasting notes of Chocolate, Mulberry, Marshmallow, Future, Charisma! Looking forward to next time!

The food overall was very mediocre for what they charged. Actually every dish was very salty, like a mouthful of salt. The ambiance, presentation, and plating were very nice, but did not make up for the lack of 'wow' on the actual taste we were hoping for. Not only was it unremarkable, I'm not sure I would even call it delicious. It was just eh, and we ate it because we already ordered it. Honestly for a pure Indian food fix (no frills on "high end" ambiance) I would rather just go to an Indian lunch buffet for the price of one entree here, or even the Samosa house 3 item combo for less than $20, where the appetizers and food are way more delicious and fulfilling. - wagyu beef kulcha- do not recommend. Salty and reminiscent of a Mexican pizza made with ground beef. Don't be fooled by the "wagyu" label - crab bhuna- a bit of a letdown compared to reviews. The banana buns were good. The crab mixture was salty and the crab taste gets lost inside the heavily flavored sauce - gobhi bezule cauliflower- was okay. The sauce was a bit heavy - kotu parotta - mediocre flavored beef mush on the salty side. Unsure why other yelpers raved about this. - date and almond korma- the 4 little kormas were meh, but the sauce was good though. Kind of like your standard orange tikka masala sauce. - garlic naan - ironically my favorite dish they made here haha. It was actually crispy but had a fluffy chew and wasn't burnt. At least they got this right for $7 naan! Overall would not reorder any of these dishes and would not return. I love Indian food and really wanted to like the place but sadly it did live up to the 4.8 star expectations. Also random aside, when we walked in the restaurant smelled of commercial cleaning solution (like at the gas station), and the bathroom had heavy air too which made me hold my breath; would recommend some air purifier machines to neutralize the air.

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service. I accidentally discovered **All'Antico Vinaio in Beverly Hills**, and only later realized they have…read morelocations in several different areas. Apparently, I had been living under a sandwich rock. The sandwiches are **made fresh and to order**, with a great variety of combinations--and the best part is that you can customize and substitute ingredients to your heart's content. And those spreads! They have so many good ones, but I'm especially obsessed with the **truffle and mushroom sauce**. We went with **fresh prosciutto**, which paired beautifully with fresh mozzarella, truffle cream, and a little fresh arugula for that subtle peppery/spicy kick. Everything was piled onto their freshly baked bread, and let's just say this is **not a shy sandwich**. The service was friendly, and I really appreciated that they let you **sample different cold cuts and spreads** if you're not sure what you want or haven't tried something before. No need to commit to a mystery meat and hope for the best. The setting is very casual--more of a deli-style café with counters and small seating areas. Nothing fancy, but honestly, when the sandwich is this good, the bread is doing all the decorating. We're not particularly big eaters, so we split one sandwich in half... and STILL had another half to take home. If you're a big eater, this is one **generously stuffed, fresh-baked sandwich** that could keep your mouth, stomach, and general happiness occupied for the rest of the day. So glad I **accidentally stumbled upon this delicious place**! Sometimes the best food discoveries happen when you have absolutely no idea where you're going.

The La Paradasio was very good but not cheap, again it's BH. They offer a Ugo Spritz for $14 but I don't drink at lunchtime, so I can't say if it's worth that price. Hey, only with fresh mint and lime, ok? They ask for a tip but I don't think there really is any service if you are handing it over the counter to me.
