One of two kiosks to order.
    Wes F.

I've been here a couple of times and thought it was time to review this establishment. Located at the busy intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Fairfax in West Hollywood; you won't be disappointed. It's a small space with a few tables inside with multiple large sliding glass doors that open onto the intersection on one side and a courtyard on the other side. It gives the place a nice urban feel with plenty of foot traffic outside and people watching. You order from one of the two kiosks outside of the kitchen. You select from the menu, make your payment, and assigned a number to notify you when your order is ready. They send messages to you via text. I was with a friend mid-afternoon on a Saturday. There was just a couple of people inside when we arrived. The evenings are usually busier with several people inside and on the outdoor courtyard which has a few tables. We both ordered cheesecake and we loved them. Very fresh, flavorful, and creamy in texture. I had the Oreo Cheesecake and my friend had the Mocha Cheesecake. My friend also had a Fusion Mocha Shake which he said tasted great with the right amount of mocha flavoring for his taste. We spoke to the owner/baker after we ate to compliment his desserts. I asked how business was and he said unfortunately slow. He mentioned how restaurants in general were having a hard time in the current uncertain economy. It has nothing to do with his products. The desserts and treats are great. If you can, give this spot a try. And the prices are reasonable considering the quality of the desserts. There's a promotion for new customers. Whatever amount you spend on your first visit, you earn that amount in credits towards your next purchase. It's all automated through your phone number. Open everyday until midnight. There are complimentary board games to play while dining. Limited parking in the plaza or street parking. It's great to have a quality dessert café in my neighborhood.

Ordering Kiosk (New Customer Special- good deal!)

Today is my second time coming to this boba shop on a busy corner in West Hollywood. My drink today was free because of the new customer special (which applies to your second visit). I love that the teas are milk free. The white custard cheesecake is delicious! The man who works the shop is super sweet and keeps the establishment clean and running smoothly.

Easy to order on a screen, parking available in the neighborhood, and plenty of drinks to choose from. The boba is not as soft as you might find in other classic shops but the owner is nice, they have a free drink (next time) for new members of the loyalty club, and the tart was surprisingly delicious! The little padded chairs are very small--very uncomfortable for me as a big guy but it was just right for the two others I came with, and they have other tables and chairs that would be more inclusive so to speak. The quantity is larger than a standard boba so you can definitely sip on it for a while. ~$7 each for a tart and for a drink.

I've already ordered from this place three times and I've never been disappointed! The deserts are a generous portion size and the first time I had ordered I was given a free cookie for being a first time customer! My go to is the Mango Cheesecake and the Carrot cake! I love this cafe and hopefully they remain consistent with the quality!

    Taro Cheesecake

Amazing desserts! The taro cheese cake is perfect - not too sweet and can definitely taste the taro flavor. The peanut butter-chocolate chip bread pudding is decadent. Portions of both are very large and are reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

This is one of those spots. The cakes are absolutely amazing (especially the carrot). You can taste the quality of these desserts, absolutely no BS in them whatsoever. The owner was so nice and you can tell there is passion behind it all. 10000% will be visiting again and these are right up there with the best I've had in LA.

    Vietnamese Coffee
    N R.

Vietnamese Coffee was not Vietnamese coffee. It tasted like plain ole drip coffee. The Thai Green Milk Tea was good though. The chocolate peanut butter cheesecake was bomb and saved this experience. At first it feels overwhelmingly peanut buttery with no chocolate. It then grows on you. Although, I did miss the chocolate. The place was okay but I don't think I'll be back.

Our first time ordering from Sweet Talk. I placed the order through Postmates and it was for my kids. You guys definitely made their day and this was so kind. First time customers and its definitely our new go-to spot for sweets/boba. Thank you guys very much , many blessings

Just stopped by to get some drinks while we were in the area. Being on Santa Monica Blvd parking was abysmal, but there are some lots nearby. Their interior was pretty cozy, they had ample seating and board games you could sit and play. All their ordering was also on kiosks which was very convenient. Our drinks were out in just a few minutes. My Thai tea was pretty decent, with a generous size for the price. I was disappointed by the sweetness; since Thai tea tends to run very sweet I opted with the 75% sweetness, but my drink tasted more like 25% sweetness. My advice would be to stick to full sweetness if you want a better experience.

Looking out from inside - it's going for a vibe!
    Cat C.

I'm rating this place entirely based on the flavor of their peanut butter chocolate chip bread, pudding which I didn't not like. You order through an automated machine at the front. They have a particular vibe that they are going for. It's a skip for me next time!

    Taro Cheesecake
    Kathy X.

Ordered the cookies and cream and taro pie and both are so good. The cookies and cream pie was a little frozen, so it was kinda like ice cream, which I loved. It's also stuffed with fresh Oreo cookies. The taro is nice and creamy, with coconut flavors. They also gave us a complimentary oatmeal chocolate chip raisin cookie, which was so nice! That was delicious and massive too!

Strawberry milk with boba and lychee
    Navene S.

The strawberry milk was fire is was really nice and refreshing. You can customize your ice level and sweetness and contents. I also got the coconut flan omg!!! Its so good too! Perfect consistency and delicious coconut crust. So so good. This place is legit yall!! The service is very good, prompt and polite. He made sure to come say hi and tell me about promotions and such. They have tables and chairs so you can get some things done while you treat yourself. Good ambiance. Ill be back to try their cheesecake

If you're in the West Hollywood area looking for a sweet treat, go to Sweets Talk!! From slushies to teas, cakes to cookies, there are so many options! Matt is so kind and helpful and brings your order out so quick! He makes sure everything tastes great and encourages you to bring your friends! There are fun games to play like connect four and card games! I highly recommend this place any night!

The sweetest man, Matt! We've been his customer for over 10 years from he was in CC at Cafe 70. So happy to find out he's back at it!!

There is also some street parking available, though it can be a bit difficult to find an open spot. Service at this location is okay, sometimes good and friendly and other times not so much. It doesn't bother me too much since I don't interact with them very often though. I usually order online and pick up at the counter, which I find much more convenient. Recently, I believe they extended the delivery area on the map to LA, but I haven't gotten the chance to try that out yet. They often run offers and promotions on their app, so I definitely recommend ordering online. You can also add a sticker to your cup when ordering online (if you draw your own it takes about a day to get it approved)! The interior is pretty small, so more of a grab-n-go, and it has a nice modern, clean aesthetic. The drinks are consistently pretty great! My go‑to orders are the Mango Coconut Boom and the Mango Grapefruit Boom. Super refreshing and fruity and the grapefruit adds a little tart, sour kick to the mango. I also really like the Triple Supreme Matcha and I recently tried the new seasonal King Jasmine Guava, and it wasn't bad at all too (the stickers are also super cute). I wouldn't recommend this location and would say it doesn't give the correct impression of what Heytea represents. Sure, having this spot on the west side of LA is nice but not if it's going to be a lackluster quality compared to the other location. So if you're desperate and in the west side, tread with caution knowing quality will be lower and to bring patience for parking.

It's not thick and chunky like their other stuff. And it's actually good?? I hate that it's good because I went from a Heytea hater to a Heytea frequenter. It's floral, fragrant and it's a perfect mix of guava and milk/cream. Never would I have thought to pair guava and dairy together BUT IT WORKS SOMEHOW. Think strawberries and cream... but guava. The jasmine tea isn't prominent but it's there as a base layer and definitely smells soooo good. The guava taste is strong and I don't know what magic they put in there but it's not artificial and gross. The cream on top is nice too! I tend to drink from the lid the first and just enjoy the cream and then afterwards I'll mix it in with the drink. It's $8 which is pricey.... But I hate that I like it. I've gotten it like 5 times this month alone. They ran out of stickers but the drink is still just as good!
