Ordering Kiosk (New Customer Special- good deal!)
    Camille G.

Today is my second time coming to this boba shop on a busy corner in West Hollywood. My drink today was free because of the new customer special (which applies to your second visit). I love that the teas are milk free. The white custard cheesecake is delicious! The man who works the shop is super sweet and keeps the establishment clean and running smoothly.

Easy to order on a screen, parking available in the neighborhood, and plenty of drinks to choose from. The boba is not as soft as you might find in other classic shops but the owner is nice, they have a free drink (next time) for new members of the loyalty club, and the tart was surprisingly delicious! The little padded chairs are very small--very uncomfortable for me as a big guy but it was just right for the two others I came with, and they have other tables and chairs that would be more inclusive so to speak. The quantity is larger than a standard boba so you can definitely sip on it for a while. ~$7 each for a tart and for a drink.

We got the Taro boba it was yummy . The setting was very cozy, but the main highlight was him who made our boba :) . Very friendly and happy man ! Highly recommend and say hi to him. Also parking in the back !!

Amazing desserts! The taro cheese cake is perfect - not too sweet and can definitely taste the taro flavor. The peanut butter-chocolate chip bread pudding is decadent. Portions of both are very large and are reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

I've already ordered from this place three times and I've never been disappointed! The deserts are a generous portion size and the first time I had ordered I was given a free cookie for being a first time customer! My go to is the Mango Cheesecake and the Carrot cake! I love this cafe and hopefully they remain consistent with the quality!

This is one of those spots. The cakes are absolutely amazing (especially the carrot). You can taste the quality of these desserts, absolutely no BS in them whatsoever. The owner was so nice and you can tell there is passion behind it all. 10000% will be visiting again and these are right up there with the best I've had in LA.

Just stopped by to get some drinks while we were in the area. Being on Santa Monica Blvd parking was abysmal, but there are some lots nearby. Their interior was pretty cozy, they had ample seating and board games you could sit and play. All their ordering was also on kiosks which was very convenient. Our drinks were out in just a few minutes. My Thai tea was pretty decent, with a generous size for the price. I was disappointed by the sweetness; since Thai tea tends to run very sweet I opted with the 75% sweetness, but my drink tasted more like 25% sweetness. My advice would be to stick to full sweetness if you want a better experience.

Vietnamese Coffee was not Vietnamese coffee. It tasted like plain ole drip coffee. The Thai Green Milk Tea was good though. The chocolate peanut butter cheesecake was bomb and saved this experience. At first it feels overwhelmingly peanut buttery with no chocolate. It then grows on you. Although, I did miss the chocolate. The place was okay but I don't think I'll be back.

Our first time ordering from Sweet Talk. I placed the order through Postmates and it was for my kids. You guys definitely made their day and this was so kind. First time customers and its definitely our new go-to spot for sweets/boba. Thank you guys very much , many blessings

The strawberry milk was fire is was really nice and refreshing. You can customize your ice level and sweetness and contents. I also got the coconut flan omg!!! Its so good too! Perfect consistency and delicious coconut crust. So so good. This place is legit yall!! The service is very good, prompt and polite. He made sure to come say hi and tell me about promotions and such. They have tables and chairs so you can get some things done while you treat yourself. Good ambiance. Ill be back to try their cheesecake

Loved everything about this boba shop, which isn't really just a boba shop but something much more. First of all, it's right in the corner of a busy intersection and it's completely open air. It was really fun people watching, excellent entertainment for my dog AND baby. Second, while the decor is sleek and modern, there's a cozy feel too, when seated at the little tables. You order at kiosks without any hassle, which adds to the modern feel of the place, but then Matt, the owner, comes out and is absolutely the sweetest. Third, but most important of all, the drinks and desserts are fantastic. I really enjoyed the matcha latte which had the perfect balance of sweetness. The soda can tops are so unique. Ok let's talk about the desserts: get them. You can't go wrong with any choice. Matt is a talented baker because the sweets are divine. We brought home different ones to share with our family and they were a hit. Personal fave of mine is the Oreo cheesecake. Super rich and decadent but still tasting light. Also best chocolate chip cookies ever. Overall really cute place for a day date or if you're just in the mood for something sweet.

Looking out from inside - it's going for a vibe!
    Cat C.

I'm rating this place entirely based on the flavor of their peanut butter chocolate chip bread, pudding which I didn't not like. You order through an automated machine at the front. They have a particular vibe that they are going for. It's a skip for me next time!

Ordered the cookies and cream and taro pie and both are so good. The cookies and cream pie was a little frozen, so it was kinda like ice cream, which I loved. It's also stuffed with fresh Oreo cookies. The taro is nice and creamy, with coconut flavors. They also gave us a complimentary oatmeal chocolate chip raisin cookie, which was so nice! That was delicious and massive too!

I ordered the literal first thing I saw on the counter and that was the Sparkling Yuzu Lemonade. The taste was fantastic, my thirst was quenched, and I left definitely knowing this is a place I'll be returning too in the future. This is a tea-forward spot that makes all ingredients and toppings fresh from scratch daily. Their most well-known unique topping is the barley popping boba. They use a real-chewy highland barley grain that gives off a nutty, earthy and milkdly sweet pop that makes for a unique texture. The fan-favorite drink is the Mochi Barley Burst which pairs a floral black milk tea with the popping barley and fresh handcrafted mochi. The tea does not have any artificial syrups and uses an organic milk with a bold tea base. The handcrafted mochi is super fun to have with the popping barley because it is pillowy and velvety. Make sure to mix it well together, so you can enjoy the whole drink for all its features. I like the ambiance of the shop. It's a smaller shop with some seating area. You order your drink at the self-service station. There's quite a few staff working to make the drinks, so we got our drinks in less than 10 minutes. I adore 3CAT and I would highly recommend visiting if you haven't already!

Perhaps, it is because they are in their soft opening stages? I cannot comment on the service as I got it DoorDashed. 1. Honey Oat Blended Espresso (3/5) Love the concept of this drink, which combines oat milk, honey and 2 shots of espresso into a blended drink. However, it was way too sweet to be enjoyable. 2. Jin Xuan Oolong Milk Tea (3.5/5) This drink uses Bopomofo's own Jin Xuan oolong tea blend, which is listed to have a delicate floral aroma and a distinct, naturally milky flavor. I definitely tasted the strong tea flavor, but did not taste the floral aroma nor the milky flavor. It seemed watery and over-brewed as it had the bitterness of tea to it. The fresh taro topping was very good; truly fresh taro chunks with the right amount of sweetness to it, not the fake powdery stuff. 3. Egg Salad Bolo Foldover (3.5/5) Think Japanese egg sando, but instead of in a sandwich, the egg salad is served in Bolo bun (aka, pineapple - it's not actually pineapple flavored, just shaped like a pineapple). The egg salad is mixed with their house-made honey mustard mayo and topped off with chives and tomato relish. Sadly, the bolo (pineapple) bun was dry, but at least the egg salad filling part was good. Overall, it's a nice small snack/treat to try, but it's nothing super mind-blowing. 4. Ba-la Matcha (3.5/5) Matcha mixed with guava nectar and layered with lactose free milk. The guava nectar has a nice tropical flavor and was surprisingly not too sweet. The matcha part was so-so. It's definitely not high-quality matcha. I wish the ratio of matcha to milk was more balanced. It felt watered down.
