First off, huge thanks to MaryAnn (hope I'm spelling it correctly) for the great service. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered 3 drinks: Mango Vanilla Latte, the Banana Bread Chai & the Gulab. All 3 were so unique and delicious. They also have the coolest art and side decor. Will definitely be back again!!
Loved this cutesy little coffee shop!! They had such a good variety of drinks and as a girl who loves her sweet treats, these drinks did not disappoint! The cashier was also super friendly and very helpful/knowledgeable on the menu so I appreciated that! If I am ever in the area I will definitely be back!
I took my friend here on a Sunday morning before going shopping in Downtown. I had seen Couplet online before and since it was nearby, we decided to stop in. Parking here is fairly simple; there is free street parking right by couplet as well as the street behind Couplet (where I parked), as well as the street before Couplet. The staff inside were very sweet and nice and the decor of this shop is really cute. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available and seems like a very nice place to sit and have a drink in. Banana Matcha Latte 4/5, this was a really interesting banana matcha experience for me. I was expecting more of a banana pudding matcha but this was definitely a banana bread matcha latte. The top included a dash of cinnamon and nuts (allergy prone individuals please be aware) and the drink was good but definitely not what I was expecting so this was a fun surprise!
Colorful vibes adorn the walls and everywhere your eyes can see in Couplet Coffee. My friend and I went into Couplet Coffee when Medium Build was touring in town. They did a special Medium Build Shakerato that was cool and appreciated. We also loved the Coke n' Cream Spro. We love a coffee shop that lives in inclusivity! Overall dope vibes here and I'd come again.
Such a cute spot! I've been meaning to try this place for awhile cause I always pass by it. I got the bananas and cream matcha and it was so good! I need to come back to try their other drinks as well(:
super cute n colorful cafe and with a creative menu. i ordered an iced cafe latte with banana and mm mm mm so yummy. service was great too, the barista offered to add toppings and cinnamon to it and it made it even better. chill spot to hang out for a bit. there's wifi and one charger plug available. there's limited seats though. street parking available so depends on the timing around echo park.
Checked out this shop since it's fairly newish in the neighborhood. Ordered 2 cafe de olla drinks with cream top + extra shots of espresso. TBH I didn't expect to pay $21 for this lol. Thankfully coffee was pretty good though. Next time I will probably try a drink with their banana cream top.
I came here after seeing a TikTok review. I especially came for their Banana Matcha which unfortunately they were out of (I came around 1pm). The barista was very helpful though and recommended the Double Matcha Strawberry Dream. I'm so glad I listened to their advice because it was SO GOOD. I was a little hesitant cuz I saw some mixed reviews for their matcha and I've tried a lot of good matchas so I'm a bit picky, but to my fellow matcha lovers: GET THIS. It's creamy and sweet, but not too sweet. I feel like a lot of strawberry matchas have a strawberry flavor that's overwhelming and you can barely taste the matcha, but for this one, the strawberry flavor is subtle. The matcha flavor and quality definitely shine through. I also so so so appreciated that the drink wasn't half ice. It was cold, but not icy. I don't think there was actually any ice in the drink so it didn't get watered down. This drink is definitely a special little treat though cuz it's $8.50 ($9.31 with tax). I wanted to gasp a little when I saw the total, but that's LA prices for ya. The aesthetic is funky and colorful. There's only a table or two for indoor seating but about 6 other tables outside. Not a great place to study or work since you can't really use outlets and the music is a tad loud but it's a vibe to hangout and chill. It's located in Echo Park with other coffee shops and a few restaurants walking distance. Not the best location (hard to find parking), but the shop itself is cute. Loved the matcha and definitely wanna come back to try their banana matcha drink.

It is a bit on the pricier side, but I think it's definitely worth a try! Came across Couplet Coffee on Yelp when we were in the area so we decided to check it out! I love the colors of the place, it's so vibrant and eye-catching, and the person who helped us take our order was super nice and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the Choco Banana drink and my boyfriend got the Coke & Cream Spro. I'm not normally a banana-drink gal, but holy COW the Choco Banana drink is a 10/10. The Coke drink is not for me -- I don't drink soda so it wasn't to my liking, and my boyfriend said he didn't mind it, he just maybe would have liked it sweeter. The choco banana drink was a 10/10 for me. For my bf? 9/10, but he was definitely into my drink as he kept taking more and more sips out of it T_T lol. It was the perfect balance of banana and chocolate. It had a smooth, rich taste, and it was unique to me -- housemade Filipino banana cream and dried banana chips on the top? *chefs kiss* Will absolutely come back for the Choco Banana drink over and over and over. Parking: street parking Seating: Small table inside, bigger table out by the entrance, and several small tables outside. I believe the inside had one outlet. Price: $$

Items ordered: Banana matcha: even as someone who doesn't love bananas, I loved this drinks! The matcha flavor was strong (though Couplet's IG did make a post recently that they upped the amount of matcha in their matcha drinks), and the banana flavor was subtle and not too sweet. Tuna melt: hit the spot - the cuban bread was grilled perfectly and the tuna + cheese was gooey and done just right. Loved that it came with pickles and a bag of chips. Banana muffin: solid muffin, nice and moist. Finding parking definitely took a while, but we finally found a spot on a residential spot after circling for a bit. There were a couple tables inside and many more outside. I could definitely tell that the owners put a lot of care and effort into designing all the details for this spot, and I'd definitely come back!

Really loved Couplet Coffee. It feels like a one-off indie spot but is actually a small chain, which was a fun surprise. Super colorful, unique vibe. Came around 11:30am on a Saturday and lucked out with an outdoor table. Seating is pretty limited since it's a small café, so timing helps. Cold brew was smooth and rich. I somehow missed all the fun, fancy iced drinks on the first pass, so I'll definitely be back to try those. Food is minimal, but they do have a breakfast burrito. Baristas were super friendly, which always makes a difference. read more

Couplet Coffee is a small coffee shop with an interesting interior colorful design located in the edge of Echo Park on Temple Street. They have a minimalist coffee and pastry selection with some specialty drinks. Similarly, they offer breakfast for those who crave a nice meal. Staff were competent. Service was lovely. Prices seem bloody expensive for the coffee size they offer. I had a Hot Flat White (8oz) which cost $7. Blimey! Overall, this coffee shop has good coffee. And one of the best in the area compared to Tribal cafe. read more

This place is cuuuuuuute! I love that they took over the precious Blume & Plume spot.. still supporting a local spot is always the best!! The 3 gals in front of me got iced matcha drinks so I did too.. I wanted coffee but the menu wasn't visible until you got to the cashier. Which... for me, an anxious person, isn't ideal. So I panicked and got what they got. Maybe next time I'll be brave and take a minute to decide. On a sunny day I imagine this place will be packed as there's the cutest 'patio' set up just off the sidewalk. Can't wait for them to open completely! And bonus points: they ch ave the cutest merch!! Street parking is nearly always.. I've never tried more than a few minutes to get parking. read more
To whom do I have the pleasure of meeting? The first thought popped up ' Echopark'. Ecopark is inseprateable Jack Nicholson and the film, ChinaTown. According to AI, Ecopark is the center of the emerging movie industry. These days, Ecopark has reached an apex in coffee culture which is from the white color co-operate person to blue color construction employee in the neighbor. The baristas are super chill, matcha was good for my antioxidant. By the time, I went down there, there's a still Mars retrograde and my mode is low. Though, they lit me up. Look up those Alice in the wonderland decoration. Its make my problems forget a bit. I wish they could play Indila's Dernière Danse. If they did, pls sit outside where tables and chairs on the street like Parisian culture, allowing cafe patrons to observe the outdoor. Give yourself sits a lone at cafe, when you sip the coffee there's any thoughts rather than enjoy voyaging into what is on the street of Echo park. One of the most fun design I've seen carried by a coffee shop! Cute and colorful characters all over the walls with catchy icons at different corners. Being relatively new and conceptually peculiar, not a surprise how much it attracts the crowd. Long line overflowing beyond the entrance door in the weekend, and do expect bit of wait to get your orders ready. They're out of almost all pastries by noon so I ended up only having the drink. I opted for their Banana and Cream Matcha, one of the top signature drinks, as I was intrigued by the fact that most other people ordering the same. Getting my order, I was so impressed by the extremely cute cup design, which also featured my name, making it feel so personal. The matcha was decent despite I preferred it to be slightly bolder. The cream tasted light and nicely not overpowering, besides the dried banana chips on top added extra happiness to the drink. It's also not overly sweet despite featuring honey and housemade syrup. Overall it's an enjoyable inventive drink! I'm excited to come back and try their Coke and Cream Spro, which was basically their version of coke with espresso and vanilla cream. read more
Couplet Coffee is a new coffee shop in historic filipino town area that is very colorful, has kind staff, and serves fun matcha and coffee drinks. I ordered the Banana Chai Matcha drink, and it did live up to its name. I think for my personal preference, I wanted it to be a bit creamier? I enjoyed it though. There's lots of outdoor seating and some indoor seating. The ambiance was a little loud but I went on a weekend, so I'm not sure how it would be on a weekday for working/studying. The outdoor seating wasn't super comfy but I liked that there was a good amount of seating. The wait for my drink took some time, but nothing unreasonable. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe, despite it being very transplant only esque. I don't know if it's a go to spot for me, and I'm not sure if i'll be back, but we'll see. read more

My third time coming here, the drinks seem to be getting better each time! My partner got the banana chai which he really enjoyed and I ordered the cola w/ espresso. Service was good, on a sunday afternoon didnt seem very busy, though looks like there were only 2 baristas so we waited a few minutes for our drinks - so we sat and enjoyed the weather. We'll come back again for sure. read more

So dangerous that I can walk here from the office! You can't go wrong with their matchas or coffee. Strawberry matcha is yummy and not too sweet. Einspanner coffee is my most favorite! Tons of seating for groups and remote work. Service is quick! read more

Loved the concept of this place but the drink fell short. I got the banana matcha and the matcha was so bitter and grassy- not my favorite notes. The banana cream was decent but not amazing. Mixing the cream did help with the bitterness of the matcha. read more
I enjoyed my matcha here! I prefer a strong matcha flavor so I added extra matcha. I was informed that the matcha is already strong but I went with extra matcha anyway and I'm glad I did because it wasn't as strong. I would probably opt out of the banana flavoring inside the matcha as well because the cream top in its own is already great. Overall would come back! read more
I have been wanting to come here since they announced they were open! I follow the creator on tik tok and love seeing their content and their creations that they come up with. This is located on a fairly busy street and parking can be difficult, I went on a fairly rainy day so it wasn't so busy. The aesthetics of this shop are very fun, bright and colorful! I absolutely love the look of this shop and how welcoming it feels. The service here is also great, they are friendly and patient. But let's talk about the drinks! I was definitely in a banana mood this day so I ordered the choco banana and the matcha banana. The Choco banana was an absolute 10/10!! This drink was crafted perfectly. The espresso, the mocha, and banana went well together. This combination was so delicious, I loved how you could taste the espresso and the flavor and it wasn't overly sweet. The banana matcha was a 9/10! This drink definitely satisfied my banana matcha craving. The matcha was one of the best ones I've had paired, the color was beautiful. read more
I tried the strawberry double matcha from this cute little cafe! The flavor intrigued me as someone who enjoys stronger matcha flavor. The latte itself had both a subtle matcha and strawberry flavor, and I personally would've liked to tastes the flavors more. The service was nice and the interior was really cute. This is such a funky quirky cute hipster lil coffee shop as expected in the land of Echo Park. Their coffee is very good and STRONG, I will say that their mocha is not on the sweet side so if that is not your thing I would suggest ordering something different. I really wanted to try their banana flavored options but they had ran out of syrup that day, hoping to go back soon to try it out! Service was great and timely! read more

Cute colorful shop near echo park with seating on the side walk. Prices are la prices. The sizes of the cups are also smaller than expected. The strawberry matcha was matcha with dried strawberries on top. No strawberry flavoring in the drink. Vibes 5/5 read more
