Loved this cutesy little coffee shop!! They had such a good variety of drinks and as a girl who loves her sweet treats, these drinks did not disappoint! The cashier was also super friendly and very helpful/knowledgeable on the menu so I appreciated that! If I am ever in the area I will definitely be back!

First off, huge thanks to MaryAnn (hope I'm spelling it correctly) for the great service. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered 3 drinks: Mango Vanilla Latte, the Banana Bread Chai & the Gulab. All 3 were so unique and delicious. They also have the coolest art and side decor. Will definitely be back again!!

I took my friend here on a Sunday morning before going shopping in Downtown. I had seen Couplet online before and since it was nearby, we decided to stop in. Parking here is fairly simple; there is free street parking right by couplet as well as the street behind Couplet (where I parked), as well as the street before Couplet. The staff inside were very sweet and nice and the decor of this shop is really cute. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available and seems like a very nice place to sit and have a drink in. Banana Matcha Latte 4/5, this was a really interesting banana matcha experience for me. I was expecting more of a banana pudding matcha but this was definitely a banana bread matcha latte. The top included a dash of cinnamon and nuts (allergy prone individuals please be aware) and the drink was good but definitely not what I was expecting so this was a fun surprise!

super cute n colorful cafe and with a creative menu. i ordered an iced cafe latte with banana and mm mm mm so yummy. service was great too, the barista offered to add toppings and cinnamon to it and it made it even better. chill spot to hang out for a bit. there's wifi and one charger plug available. there's limited seats though. street parking available so depends on the timing around echo park.

Colorful vibes adorn the walls and everywhere your eyes can see in Couplet Coffee. My friend and I went into Couplet Coffee when Medium Build was touring in town. They did a special Medium Build Shakerato that was cool and appreciated. We also loved the Coke n' Cream Spro. We love a coffee shop that lives in inclusivity! Overall dope vibes here and I'd come again.

Such a cute spot! I've been meaning to try this place for awhile cause I always pass by it. I got the bananas and cream matcha and it was so good! I need to come back to try their other drinks as well(:

Checked out this shop since it's fairly newish in the neighborhood. Ordered 2 cafe de olla drinks with cream top + extra shots of espresso. TBH I didn't expect to pay $21 for this lol. Thankfully coffee was pretty good though. Next time I will probably try a drink with their banana cream top.

I came here after seeing a TikTok review. I especially came for their Banana Matcha which unfortunately they were out of (I came around 1pm). The barista was very helpful though and recommended the Double Matcha Strawberry Dream. I'm so glad I listened to their advice because it was SO GOOD. I was a little hesitant cuz I saw some mixed reviews for their matcha and I've tried a lot of good matchas so I'm a bit picky, but to my fellow matcha lovers: GET THIS. It's creamy and sweet, but not too sweet. I feel like a lot of strawberry matchas have a strawberry flavor that's overwhelming and you can barely taste the matcha, but for this one, the strawberry flavor is subtle. The matcha flavor and quality definitely shine through. I also so so so appreciated that the drink wasn't half ice. It was cold, but not icy. I don't think there was actually any ice in the drink so it didn't get watered down. This drink is definitely a special little treat though cuz it's $8.50 ($9.31 with tax). I wanted to gasp a little when I saw the total, but that's LA prices for ya. The aesthetic is funky and colorful. There's only a table or two for indoor seating but about 6 other tables outside. Not a great place to study or work since you can't really use outlets and the music is a tad loud but it's a vibe to hangout and chill. It's located in Echo Park with other coffee shops and a few restaurants walking distance. Not the best location (hard to find parking), but the shop itself is cute. Loved the matcha and definitely wanna come back to try their banana matcha drink.

I got The Gulab matcha with oat milk (8/10) and it was delicious! It tasted like the dessert in drink form and it wasn't too sweet. It is a bit on the pricier side, but I think it's definitely worth a try! There is free street parking, but it can be limited so i recommend scouting the area if you're unable to find parking in front of the building. This coffee shop is right next to Echo Park so you'll be able to walk around and enjoy the view + your drink!

saw this spot on tiktok and have been wanting to try the banana matcha! it was expensive but worth the try! It wasn't overly sweet and tasted really delicious. The banana cream matcha was 8.50 service was great! quick, and friendly cafe was cute as well

Came across Couplet Coffee on Yelp when we were in the area so we decided to check it out! I love the colors of the place, it's so vibrant and eye-catching, and the person who helped us take our order was super nice and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the Choco Banana drink and my boyfriend got the Coke & Cream Spro. I'm not normally a banana-drink gal, but holy COW the Choco Banana drink is a 10/10. The Coke drink is not for me -- I don't drink soda so it wasn't to my liking, and my boyfriend said he didn't mind it, he just maybe would have liked it sweeter. The choco banana drink was a 10/10 for me. For my bf? 9/10, but he was definitely into my drink as he kept taking more and more sips out of it T_T lol. It was the perfect balance of banana and chocolate. It had a smooth, rich taste, and it was unique to me -- housemade Filipino banana cream and dried banana chips on the top? *chefs kiss* Will absolutely come back for the Choco Banana drink over and over and over. Parking: street parking Seating: Small table inside, bigger table out by the entrance, and several small tables outside. I believe the inside had one outlet. Price: $$

Visited Couplet around lunchtime on a Sunday! There was a line of about 6-7 people but it moved pretty quickly. Loved the bright colors and fun art on the walls, and the menu itself was also really cute. Even the bathroom was a pleasure to visit! Items ordered: Banana matcha: even as someone who doesn't love bananas, I loved this drinks! The matcha flavor was strong (though Couplet's IG did make a post recently that they upped the amount of matcha in their matcha drinks), and the banana flavor was subtle and not too sweet. Tuna melt: hit the spot - the cuban bread was grilled perfectly and the tuna + cheese was gooey and done just right. Loved that it came with pickles and a bag of chips. Banana muffin: solid muffin, nice and moist. Finding parking definitely took a while, but we finally found a spot on a residential spot after circling for a bit. There were a couple tables inside and many more outside. I could definitely tell that the owners put a lot of care and effort into designing all the details for this spot, and I'd definitely come back!

I stopped in on one of the hottest days of the summer and discovered this hidden gem on Sunset Blvd in artsy creative sunny Silver Lake, Los Angeles. I had heard of Naturewell and their locations (also in DTLA, on the go in their truck van for catering/events and in Altadena, formerly), but this was my first full experience trying a good variety including some of their awesome all natural snacks. I was greeted right away and got to take in everything including their extensive as well as growing collection of grab and good goodies, wellness shots and beverages. I wasn't feeling up to a bowl (definitely next time), but a Berrylicious smoothie and some truly awesome Gopal's Savory Pumpkin Seed Sprouties were the perfect mix. I went with the 20oz large size for my bev as it was a really hot day and only $1 more. My too cool for school Bar-rista even offered me a nice ice cold water while I waited as we bonded over that L.A. heat and humidity. They had some pickup orders and inquiring individuals passing by on the street and a few boxes to increase their shelf inventory. There's cute cozy chairs and tables out front, not to mention some space to enjoy their plants inside and that amazing AC. Eco friendly w/ easy cup carries for multiple drinks. They accept most forms of payment, including digital pay (Apple, Samsung, etc) and offer military discounts for those have served and/or are currently serving. Easy bike parking out front, local street parking and very close to metro stops as well as not more than 20 minutes from metro stations. Outside area in front is fairly open and pup friendly. So to encounter what I did in the midst of that was disheartening. Basically, I came in and was not greeted at all. I waited. I waited. Then, I moved closer to where the barista was working. Still nothing. Then, a man comes in and the same barista greets him. Turns out the man was picking up an order. Same as me. But he was likely with Uber Eats or Door Dash. After he took care of that man...mind you greeted, got his order and bid him ado...he still didn't attend to me. So, I finally greet him: Hi, how are you doing? I'm here to pick up a to-go order. The name is... He turns to go check and may have said something minimal. I can't remember. I do remember he never made eye contact. He must've said it's coming or something. I go back towards the front to wait. Another man enters, who is greeted by a different employee. Kindly. Takes care of the guy and even says have a good day. That same, second man brings me my to-go order. Doesn't say have a good day. I mean it's not like it's not possible, right. Don't gaslight me. I just 2 different people treat 2 different people better than I was. I check my bag and ask for utensils. He gets them. That's it. I decide to call after I left. Mind you parking stinks around this area. I would never think to come here to struggle and pay for parking and deal with bad customer service and food that is mid at best. The manager, a lady, wasn't much better. She apparently was sitting in the store and remembered me and the color I was wearing. She's basically like I saw you. I don't know what happened. I'll have to check with my staff because we don't discriminate. Mind you, ai didn't mention race. Was it because I was black? Perhaps because I was a woman? I will never know. What I do know is I was treated differently real time. Looked past. Given a lower level of priority and reception. But I'm puzzled that if this manager saw 3 very different interactions, why didn't she intervene. People have built in biased whether they are aware of it or not. And there is a difference between intent and impact. I did not feel seen. I did not feel empathy. She offered a free drink. She apologized. But it didn't feel heartfelt or sincere. You know how when you can tell when they are genuinely disappointed and want to really make it right. I told her that I didn't even live in the area and wasn't thrilled about returning. I won't return. And as I said the coffee and food was mid. Do better.

Erewhon Silver Lake is, by far, the worst Erewhon location in the city…read more I regularly shop at Erewhon and have been to every location. I'm frequently at Studio City, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood, so I have plenty of experience comparing the stores. Unfortunately, Silver Lake consistently stands out for all the wrong reasons. The biggest issue seems to be a serious lack of management and proper employee training. The team often appears confused about basic tasks, from printing labels to answering simple questions about prepared food. Something that should take a minute can turn into a long wait because no one seems to know what to do or who is responsible. The prepared-food experience is especially frustrating. Multiple times I've been told, "It'll be out in 10-15 minutes, they're making it now," only to wait 15 minutes and then be told, "Sorry, we were wrong--they're not making it anymore today." How does that happen so regularly? Even the food quality seems noticeably worse here. You would expect the exact same Erewhon item to be consistent from location to location, but that has not been my experience. I regularly eat the breakfast slider at Studio City without an issue, yet after eating the same item from Silver Lake, I felt sick. Even the meat and other prepared foods at Studio City consistently seem fresher to me. And the problems aren't limited to the prepared-food counter. I've purchased prebiotic yogurt here only to discover it was expired. I've also bought fruit that looked fine from the outside, cut it open shortly afterward, and realized it was so underripe that it was basically inedible and went straight into the trash. I understand that every store can have an occasional bad day. But when the problems are this consistent--from food quality and inventory information to expired products, produce quality, long waits, and employees struggling with basic procedures--it points to a management and training problem rather than an isolated mistake. For a store charging Erewhon prices, customers should absolutely expect better quality control and a much more organized operation. Today was my last visit to the Silver Lake location. I'll stick with Studio City, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood, where my experiences have been significantly better. Thanks, Silver Lake. Have a good one.
