Beautiful cozy Vietnamese coffee shop in LA. I was having a little chill break town between my errands and enjoying Vietnamese ube coffee. The coffee is strong and good!
Fantastic Vietnamese cafe! I love how SoCal has such diverse communities that even with local coffee shops, we are so spoiled with our options. And I love me some Vietnamese coffee for sure!! Cute spot, great drinks!
Just took my first sip of my Pandan latte immediately had to write up a review. The Pandan latte is amazing! The brew is still nice and strong and pairs wait with the Pandan sweetener. Its flavor is certainly consistent with other forms Pandan of desserts I've had and this being my first time having it in a coffee is excellent. While my girlfriend and I were waiting for my drinks we got to read about their business owner and short but significant history. This business seems very popular and for good reason. It has creative Viet inspired drinks, some pastries, and other traditional classics. I loved the overall aesthetic. It's very tiny inside but inviting. Their staff were friendly and even were generous enough to ground some external beans for me which was a solid. I'm sold on their product, service, and can't wait to come back! Phenomenal find :)
Not a single miss on this menu! The coffee always has me bouncing off the walls and makes me get my stuff done for the day. My favorites are the egg coffee, salted cream coffee, salted cream matcha ube, and the mango passion fruit tea. There's seating inside and a few spots outside. Parking sucks in this area, but it's worth the trip.

Matcha is amazing, hojocha is amazing, Vietnamese coffee is amazing. I'm not a ube in my matcha type, but they got that too. Service is chill, they're all nice, and never gotten attitude from anyone.
I got banana matcha and my friend got the ube one. The first couple sips of the banana were AMAZING but then I was getting a slight aftertaste / feeling of unripe banana /: My friend's ube matcha was goooood in the sense that the ube flavor was strong but it was unsweetened so not my cup of tea Staff was friendly and the interior is very cute!! A couple tables to sit as well
Visited Nam Coffee on a quiet Saturday morning. Cashier was friendly and drink was prepared quickly. Love that it's clean, comfortable and have free WiFi here. Their menu had a couple interesting drinks i was deciding between but I went with my go-to classic Vietnamese egg coffee. I love that it was a perfect balance of creamy egg topping and strong bitter coffee. Each drink costs about $8 which is on the pricey side but usual for specialty coffee nowadays. Looking forward to coming back and trying their other drinks though!
4 stars Decided to stop by after a doctor's appointment and I wasn't disappointed. This coffee shop is cute and gives off highland park hipster vibes lol. It's clean and comfortable and the customer service is really nice. Bonus points for being vegan friendly. They even carry/sell condensed oatmilk! These were the drink I got: Signature Vegan ($7): Vietnamese coffee w/ condensed oatmilk. Definitely worth getting if you're vegan and haven't tried Vietnamese coffee b/c they've always used condensed milk. Unfortunately, it's not quite the coffee intensity I prefer. 4/5 stars Salted Cream Matcha Ube ($8.75 + $0.75): Subbed with oatmilk, but salted cream isn't lactose-free. This drink was surprisingly good. Very ube forward and not sweet. I ended up asking for a little sweetener, which perfected the drink. However, the price is insane. 4/5 stars Like another reviewer has pointed out, the parking here sucks, but I won't hold that against them.

Saw this spot on tiktok and visited on a Saturday morning. It's on this cute little quiet street in Silverlake that I've never visited before, and there are a few cafes and restaurants that we were curious about. Nam has many options on the menu to choose from-- coffee, to matcha, and teas. When I go with my SO, we always opt for a coffee drink and a matcha to mix it up. I've had my fair share of egg coffee and pandan flavored drinks and that's what we ordered here to try. The egg coffee is a perfect balance of the strong, chocolate-y taste of Vietnamese coffee and sweet creamy egg topping. The pandan matcha was different than other ones I've had. It had a super bright pandan syrup that was still a really good punch of pandan and paired well with the matcha. While waiting for our drinks, I observed the cashier's interactions, she was so nice with everyone and the regulars that seem to often stop by. I love a good local spot!!
Egg coffee is great. Small, quiet, coffee shop. Been coming weekly cuz my child lol is preggers and she wants coffee every time we come to appointment down the street. But sadly, no longer coming back. Only had cash but they won't take cash. Like some people do not understand that cash is LEGAL TENDER! Tired of the SHE eep who comply to TEE- ranical practices & pushing no cash agenda. Think about it. If you needed some extra funds, you can no longer get a side gig for cash for small jobs like maybe baby sitting or something similar. You are helping to build & support that PRI son. My sister and I kind of stumbled upon this place on our way to an event. I love all things pandan! Street parking can be a little tricky in this area. The staff was really nice and friendly. I enjoyed my drink and it was also pretty to look at! It was cutely decorated inside and was very comfortable. There was plenty of seating and it wasn't too busy. I wish there was one closer to me!
I got the pumpkin Vietnamese coffee and my friends got the Saigon coffee, salted cream matcha ube, matcha latte, and strawberry matcha latte. Everything was really good and we all liked our drinks. The pumpkin Vietnamese coffee was seasonal and I really enjoyed it! wasn't too sweet and balanced really well with the pumpkin foam. The salted cream matcha ube comes unsweetened, but you can add sweetener if you want. Their menu is huge with so many cool and interesting drinks, so I'd definitely come back to try more. Parking is street/metered only and seating inside is pretty limited. There's no bathroom, but they do have free wifi so you can still get some work done. Service was nice, just a little slow when I came, probably training a new worker. Other than that, no complaints. The interior is also really cute. Would definitely come back!
Vegan review! I had their vegan Vietnamese coffee & as soon as I saw the brand of condensed milk they were using I was super excited!! The coffee is so strong and yummy. If you need a serious pick me up, this is it. The decor is a mix of minimalist and quirky. Great touch! Parking is ok. You may just have to drive a bit to find some in the residential areas nearby. Service was quick and friendly. This place is close to me so I'll def be adding it to my rotation of regulars. read more
I tried the Saigon Latte and the Signature Vietnamese Coffee. While neither drink was bad, neither really stood out to me. The beans seem to be of decent quality, but the coffee lacked the depth, complexity, and bold character that I typically associate with great Vietnamese coffee. I understand that condensed milk is a defining ingredient in Vietnamese coffee, and it's something I usually enjoy. However, I found both drinks noticeably sweeter than I prefer. I don't mind sweetness, but these leaned a bit too heavily in that direction for me, which ended up masking some of the coffee's flavor. That said, the café is located in a pleasant neighborhood and has a welcoming atmosphere. It's a comfortable spot to relax, meet friends, or work. While the coffee wasn't particularly memorable for me, the overall vibe of the place is definitely a plus. read more

This was one of the best hojichas I've ever had!! Seeing the menu gave me decision paralysis and I settled on their pumpkin coffee along with the hojicha. The coffee flavor was strong and complemented the sweet cream top well, but it was just okay to me. But that sweet, nutty, earthy hojicha??? Okay... I will be coming back!!! Shoutout to the person who took our order for dealing with my indecisiveness. Thankfully, if she was annoyed, she didn't show it, so I feel welcome to come back soon :) read more
One of my favorite things to do while I'm out in LA is to try local coffee shops. This one definitely didn't disappoint! It's a cute little cozy space that is truly inviting. The music fits the ambiance perfectly! You are greeted with a smile when you walk in & the girl taking our order was very sweet and helpful. I ordered a Viet Pumpkin Latte and my daughter ordered a strawberry matcha. They were both delicious and the coffee was strong and extra hot...exactly how I like it! We loved the coffee and the experience. I would like to briefly mention that the pastries weren't what I expected them to be. The pumpkin muffin didn't taste like pumpkin, and the banana muffin was just OK a little too sweet for my liking. But the coffee was superb. read more

I had their salted cream Vietnamese coffee and the coffee is highly caffeinated; it's bold coffee with the sweetened cream. Highly recommend it. The service is good and the place has indoor and outdoor seating. read more
I came here to do some work on an early Sunday morning and my experience here was pretty good. I ordered the egg coffee and it was strong! I do like my strong coffees haha. It had a good coffee flavor and I loved the egg cream top which was smooth and fluffy. The cream and the coffee also weren't too sweet which I liked. I also liked how it wasn't too icy, the perfect amount of ice. Mixed together, it was delicious. It is a bit pricey though at $8. The interior is nice and clean. There's also wifi and outlets which is why I decided to do some work here. However, I find it strange that they don't have an operating bathroom which is kind of a must for cafes. I ended up really needing to use the bathroom after my 3rd hour there, so I had to leave. This would not be the best spot to stay long-term if you need to use the bathroom. For parking, it's street parking only and the area does get pretty busy. I was able to find some street parking in a neighborhood area a block away. Overall, a good experience here and I would come back for the egg coffee or to try the other drinks. read more
I liked it. Was craving some egg coffee and this hit the spot. Small seating area inside with a few tables. A decent plane to chat with friends or get some work done. Also a few chairs outside. I got the egg coffee and it was delicious. Just what I wanted. Also got a nice ham and cheese croissant. It was good, buttery and flaky. Would definitely come back. Service was good. Friendly staff. Came here around 1:50pm on a Thursday. Pretty empty. You can come in and place the order through the cashier. The drinks came out pretty fast. The drinks were superb. The egg coffee is strong and the custard taste is awesome. The ube content is pretty good mixing with the coffee. I recommend the egg coffee more. The only thing with the banana matcha is that the bananas taste unripe, not that much banana flavor. More cream foam if anything. The place is a great place to study, pretty small though so I would imagine you would have to come at a later time or earlier depending on the days. Recommend! read more

I finally made it to Nam Coffee, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The coffee is bold, smooth, and full of flavor without being overwhelming. You can tell they put real care into every drink. I tried the Vietnamese coffee, and it had the perfect balance of rich coffee and sweetness. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. The staff were friendly, and my order came out quickly. If you're looking for quality Vietnamese coffee in Los Angeles, Nam Coffee is absolutely worth a visit. I absolutely love pandan, coconut & ube whether it's in coffee, ice cream or pastries. When I saw that Nam Coffee has all of these flavors, I had to come! It's a clean & small coffee shop in Little Armenia with fast & friendly service. Pandan latte - Yummy. Pretty. Refreshing. I would've liked a little more pandan, yes I have a sweet tooth haha. Coconut ube latte - Well balanced flavor, can't go wrong with ube tbh. My boyfriend's Filipino so he's always on the hunt for a good ube treat! Iced egg coffee - I came back to try this since I really liked egg coffee when I visited Vietnam. The iced version is not nearly as good as hot. This was a miss for me but I wouldn't mind returning to try other menu items. PS: Street parking only. read more
We could not resist stopping by this coffee shop located in East LA area on the same street as Besties Vegan Paradise. It's a small coffee shop with some outdoor seating and a few seating areas inside. The smell is so intoxicating! We were greeted immediately by a barista who also showed us the vegan options. There was also a baked goods display but nothing was vegan. Husband got the signature vegan coffee which he said was good. Price is on par with other coffee shops. Parking is metered street parking and we usually have no problem finding a spot. read more

Let me get this out of the way really quick, parking is horrible so you best believe you better come with at least one connoisseur of the coffee kind to get in line. Ok, Ahem! Bold brews with that one hundred percent grade one robusta is what's up over here! The first drink I ordered was the Signature Vietnamese Coffee with condensed milk and the slow dripped Phin filter method. If you don't know about this then you gotta check this out. Next was the Salted Cream Coffee with house made cream. Both of the drinks were on point and that Robusta was coursing through my veins like high octane to a sports car! I was on blast off mode! The shop is super cute with tables inside and a couple of seats outside. They also carry a nice variety of pastries to accompany your drink or drinks in my case, LoL. The drinks are reasonable and super strong. They're also really tasty. I always get the same drink which is the CoCo Ube Coffee its bomb. The staff is always smiling and service is pretty fast anytime I've gone. Go support a small business. read more

This was my second time back at Nam Coffee and this time I tried the egg coffee. The coffee itself was very strong and tasted great with the egg foam. Not too sweet either! My only complaint is the seating is very limited and not the most comfortable if you wanted to go in for a longer work sesh. Can't wait to try something new next! read more
This is new coffee shop by work! It's really great they have this by work. Tried Vietnamese coffee it's very sweet but I don't taste the strong coffee compare to other Vietnamese coffee I have tried before. Also, tried salted cream matcha ube iced drink, it's very milky. I barely taste the matcha which disappoints me. But definitely coming back here to try other drinks and get Vietnamese coffee need that for long shift for work. read more
Love this spot so much, their Vietnamese coffee is so good. My favorite items here are the Egg Coffee which has an egg custard on top and the Coco Vegan, which has a coconut milk base. Friendly atmosphere and the staff is kind. I haven't seen this place crazy packed so you can typically find seating/tables here if needed. Parking in the area can be challenging but there will always be street/meter parking in the surrounding area. read more

We love an iced strawberry matcha that has strawberry puree, that's perfectly cold, and has the right amount of matcha! It's gotta be one of my favorite matchas I've tried! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the cashier was very kind. There was no line when we arrived, just a few people hanging out inside. They offer a wide variety of drinks and pastries. I ordered the iced strawberry matcha and it was delicious! read more

Coffee lovers - this place is a must! We love, Vietnamese coffee, so drove all the way from Orange County to try this place, and did not disappoint. We tried the egg coffee and banana latte and both were amazing! Bought some fresh beans for home. The Orange County Blend is my favorite!! Ample seating, parking pretty easy on street, just great all around!! read more
