Erewhon is good, but honestly, it's not the life-changing, knocks-your-socks-off experience I was expecting. It's definitely overpriced for what you're getting, but I will say I really liked that I didn't feel overly heavy after eating here. The food felt fresh and pretty light, which I appreciated.
i really didn't want to like it here because of how boujee it is and how absurd the prices are but i fear i did... the viral smoothie was just okay but the sushi sandwich was AMAZING. i would definitely come back for it because it's so unique and yummy. the shelves are all so organized and definitely ASMR but im not sure i can justify the insane prices over a regular grocery store. still a great experience nonetheless
Went there for their pizza and left with a bag of food & stuff... Service is helpful and on point. This location feels less hectic than the one on Beverly. Easy in & out if you just need to grab a quick bite. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. Who would have thought Erewhon actually has decent pizza?! The pizza dough has the perfect amount of chewiness; a number of options(we got garlic & spinach, mushroom, veggie special & cheese) All great! You get an almost square sized pizza slice for $8(non meat ones). Not saying it's the cheapest, but it's pretty good for the quality of the pizza. The store is known for being pricier, you definitely will pay less somewhere else for basic items. However, imo their food is worth it, their products are well packaged. Haven't tried their signature smoothies and not planning to - only thing I don't see myself splurging on. This might just be the kind of place you treat yourself to when you have the funds.
Ordered their Vanilla Matcha, it was too sweet. It might as well have been ice cream! My boyfriend had protein and almond butter in his which tasted better. The place was crowded and folks didn't have the best manners. Staying away from this location.
This paces is ah-ma-zing. I don't know what they did to their fruits and vegetables but for whatever reason they just taste so much better than the others. Their coffee and smoothie bar is off the chains and although it's pricey it's pretty legit, so worth it. Great service. The employees were nice. They seen I wasn't familiar where things were and helped me find whatever I needed. You can grab some food and drinks then chill outside.
High quality offerings and grew staff, who are attentive and eager to help customers locate things. Parking is free with receipt validated. Great smoothie options and cold brew coffee as well.
So I basically only came here to get one of the viral smoothies that they have. I went with the Coconut Cloud that is $20. Yes I know very expensive. The whole store is but I enjoyed the smoothie it was very delicious.
I appreciate the complimentary valet parking here for customers. I also appreciate how aesthetically pleasing and clean the whole store is. Can't say you've been to Erewhon without trying their infamous smoothie right? Ordered both the Hailey Bieber drink and the coconut cloud. Hailey Bieber smoothie tasted like a basic strawberry banana smoothie with a hint of date. Coconut cloud was less sweet and thick than Hailey Bieber drink. I'd say both were a good experience to try, but not quite worth $20 for me. The self order kiosk was convenient as well as the text message notification when the drinks were ready. Store wasnt too big so by the time we were done browsing the drinks were done too
I usually love Irwin because I can go to the food bar and get whatever I want at whatever weight I want to purchase. This time I told the gentleman behind the counter. I only want a little bit of mac & cheese and he said to me that you have to get more because whatever you're buying has to be at least a pound. I have gone to numerous stores and they don't have these rules. When I told him that was illegal, a manager came and approved it. I just think whoever this manager is made up his own rules. I always love their curry help, short ribs, gluten-free, mac & cheese, and carrots! I gave it three stars with her. The food is always good!
I've avoided coming to an Erewhon ever since I moved to LA almost two years ago, why you ask? Overpriced everything. Well, after a quick trip to the walk in clinic next door left both me and my wife feeling pretty hungry, we figured why not give this place a shot and see what it's got to offer. The store itself is very clean, nicely organized, and features a decent but small selection of everything. I did a quick round of the store and found a mixture of super high priced things as well as some regular priced stuff as well. Afterwards I headed over to the hot food area and had a plate made for me. I ended up settling on the old school macaroni and cheese and these round potato things as well as some turmeric roasted chicken as a main course. I was super worried I was going to absolutely love the food here and get hooked on overpriced hot food, but that's quite the opposite as to what happened. My plate came to $32 and not a single thing tasted that good. The chicken was dry, the macaroni and cheese was alright, but lacked much flavour, and the potato things just didn't taste very good to me. The meal itself wasn't terrible, it just wasn't at all worth a $32 price tag. As a desert, I did sprawl for a $5 cookie that was delicious, but still not as good as the big 4 pack at Whole Foods for $7, so once again, not really feeling it. Overall, Erewhon is not for me. The hot food bar here is not at all worth the money and the quality of the food was just a bit of a let down for me. I'm not opposed to trying some stuff from around the store in the future, but the prices here for what you are getting just do not see worth it. I'll stick with other stores in the area.
Overpriced for the same quality type of groceries you can get at Sprouts or even Ralphs. There's nothing that justifies the insane prices of this place, but for whatever reason it is always packed to the teeth. Groceries are pretty basic. They have a hot lunch area, and the food is just as pricey. We're talking about $30 for a combo plate, and it is based on weight, so if they pour a tad bit more, it will raise the price, which they often do. They serve pizza, the cheapest thing here, but it is not that good, and it makes Little Caesars taste like fine dining cuisine. The coffee here is okay. The coffee bar, however, is slow in making drinks; it takes about 20 minutes to get your coffee. This is where they sell their famous shakes, overpriced $25 Bieber shakes. I don't get what the hype is, honestly; nothing here justifies the price. It's insane, but yet somehow the place is booming.
Imagine if Whole Foods had a champagne budget love child, and found a way to cram as much bougie stuff in as small a footprint as possible, with a wine shop.... Basically, that's this pricy place. I'd give it 5*, but you can feel your wallet getting lighter at checkout. On the other hand, their specialty sections are pretty badass, and occasional pantry supplements wouldn't hurt as much. What I was really impressed with, however, was the ready-made foods in general. That huge slice of fire cooked pizza, with kale and sausage was like something I'd find in Umbria, Italia. The pre-made sushi looks 10x better than anywhere else I've been, and what a selection, too! Seared salmon stood out. Coffee: I couldn't believe the shear quantity of brands, types, or variety. Standing at least 10 feet high, their rows are chock full of the best everything. Honey, Jams, sauces, dried herbs, spices, legumes. Even the produce is carefully selected and displayed. You won't see that at Ralph's or Vons, but possibly at that mega Pavillion on the hill on the Newport Coast. The wine annex is small but well curated. You could definitely find better prices elsewhere in the LA area, but they cater to the higher incomes and those whose tastes are linked to cost. I did see some exceptions and fantastic QPR options, so take the previous sentence with a nod towards Brunello, Barolo and Bordeaux. Overall, a shopping trip is costly aside noted from my first round with the slice of pizza, herbal beverage, and bag of house brand whole bean espresso,but I think it was fun. I'd visit here again when I find myself in the area. I noticed that they also do a lot of business with Doordash and Uber Eats, so there's that option to consider.
I now understand the hype. We got the smoothie bowls and it was very good. All the yummy smoothie blend you could ever want! However, I wasn't overly impressed with the large menu of options because a lot of them were not vegan or at least not 100% vegan. I don't really like to modify so I just went with the only vegan bowl they offered, but I was happy with it. While waiting, I was distracted by their deli and vegan raw dessert section. I absolutely love vegan raw desserts and if you don't know what that is, it's typically cashew nuts dates maybe coconut other variations of nuts. It's just my favorite and I saw the strawberry raw vegan pie and the chocolate bar. So of course I bought them and I'm glad I did. They were delicious. It's probably a good thing there is not a place next to me because I'd be spending a little too much time and money here lol

Only giving this place four stars because it's ridiculously overpriced, but I feel like everyone expects that when you go to this place doesn't mean it's OK though. Anyway, this is my favorite airline just because the parking intendant is my favorite. I get the same guy every single time and he's the sweetest man ever. Please give him a tip. If you ever encounter him he deserves it! The food is OK but I just love it there because it's it feels very healthy and a lot of it is gluten-free and it accommodates to my diet. read more

I knew about erewhon, just never bother to go inside or know the hype about it. So I decided to check it out for the first time ever. First impress of the vibes: I was greeted by somone the minute I walked in. The smoothing/juice bar was nicely decorated and organized in the deli. This place is totally a vibe... it's not just clean..but in perfection of alignment and organization. I bought a few things there : roasted peanut butter, chocolate biscotti, Spanish paprika chips, pistachios toffee chocolate and some hot food including chicken noodles, steak, chicken thigh, yam ( taste like honey) Chow mein, Mac and cheese ( so good) . And Most importantly the strawberry glaze smoothie...omg... that $25 so worth it. Actually everything was so delicious. Was it expensive overall? Yes. Worth it? My Brian say no, but my heart say yes. I would definitely come back. Yes to the smoothies and everything there I bought...food , very good quality. read more

My wife and I stopped by Erewhon and ordered the Hailey Bieber smoothie (I forgot the exact name) since we really enjoyed it the first time. This visit, though, it just wasn't quite the same the flavor and texture felt a little different compared to before. Still a good drink, refreshing and unique, but the consistency from visit to visit could be better. The store itself has that clean and upscale vibe we both like, but the prices are definitely on the higher side. Overall, not a bad experience just hoping the drinks are more consistent next time we go together. read more
Stopped by for a quick pick me up after a hike. We ordered custom smoothies and some treat (chocolate chip cookie, blueberry muffin, and chocolate muffin). It was busy at the smoothie/juice bar, so it took a while for the drinks to be done. We were both a little disappointed in the smoothies and pasties. Everything was just alright, which is hard to justify with the price. The only thing I would not recommend at all is the chocolate muffin. Neither of us enjoyed that one! read more
Pretty standard Erewhon I've been to! Clean, organized and EXPENSY lol I wanted to come to Erewhon since I wanted to try the new cactus jack smoothie (Travis Scott's smoothie with Erewhon). It wasn't as good as the Hailey Bieber IMO. The cost of the smoothie was at a whopping $22 which is expensyyy but worth trying :-) read more

I was very impressed by Erewon. I originally thought maybe it was just internet hype and overpriced produce, but you're paying for health and quality! I really do believe that in life you get what you pay for and while I'm sure not 100% of the items in the store are healthy, most of them are. They have some really aesthetically pleasing displays and also some really unique products that can't be found anywhere else. I really enjoyed the prepackaged food, the amazing cooked food and salad bar, as well as all the great juices and smoothies! I also must mention the staff...when you first come in, you're greeted with staff holding baskets to give you. And then everyone else in the store is hustling. They are doing work and it seemed like a well oiled machine. While the store was busy, I barely had to wait in a line. They also have a lovely patio, complementary valet, and a water station to refill that Stanley cup! read more

I am going to be honest. I love Erewhon. It is a type of market I like going to. Great choices of hot foods along with drinks and pastries, why not? Not to mention their produce is pretty fresh, and it's not overpriced like many other people think or assume. You can get Harry's Berries (at a little extra cost), but it's worth it if you are craving it and can't make it to one of the farmers' markets. Their drinks? One of the best. Pricey? Yes, for some smoothies, but is it worth trying at least once? Yes, I definitely believe so! There's a reason why people keep returning. Hot foods? YES! I absolutely loooove their hot foods selection. I think I've tried literally everything, and I liked them all. Their burritos are worth trying, as well as their combo plates, whether they're chicken, beef, or fish! I love the fish combo plate the best!! Broccolini with Garlic Confit and Buffalo Cauliflower are some of my favorite sides. I also tried their sushi bento when they had some type of collaboration where you order ahead and pick up at the store; it was surprisingly pretty satisfying for the price. Erewhon's wine and non-alcoholic selections are thoughtfully curated as well. My boyfriend and I casually stop by during our routine walks to browse through and always end up taking a bottle or two. If you shop regularly at Erewhon or live near one, I highly recommend getting the membership, which is $200 per year to use for the market & tonic bar and get 10% cash back for your purchase. Our cashback for the past year was more than enough to pay for our membership for this year, so it was definitely worth the money for us.Not to mention you get the monthly complimentary drinks that are specific for that month during the first 2 weeks of each month. Although I do miss the smoothies they used to have for complimentary, it's been mostly just tonic bar drinks, but still cool, I guess. Probiotics and skincare stuff they have are awesome as well. I get my probiotics here now, and I think it is working really well for me. I do go to other locations, but I come to this one almost every day because I am always here in Silverlake. Consider making Erewhon your regular grocer if you live near one! read more

If you are looking for a quick bite to eat I would highly recommend their pizza slices which are a good value for this pricey store. I love browsing through the aisles to find that unique high end products they carry. To be honest some of their products can be lower than the mega super markets. read more

Busy but worth it. Great selection of organic and healthy food, everything looks fresh and high quality. Prices are definitely on the high end, but the food is yummy and well made. A solid spot if you're looking for quality and don't mind paying a premium. read more

What is this magnetic pull that Erewhon has that we have to stop in whenever we're in one's vicinity? We joined the line to order smoothies & unlike the other locations we've visited, this one prepared our drinks in record speed. We couldn't bear the thought of ordering something different than our tried-and-true favorites Strawberry Glaze & Coconut Cloud. While the latter was sweet & delicious, there was something off about the usually-amazing Strawberry Glaze. Not as flavorful as I remember & at $20 a pop, these things really shouldn't be inconsistently made. Maybe this is what it took to break the spell. I'm not swearing off these exorbitant smoothies (because I love drinking my calories), but perhaps I'll try a new flavor the next time Erewhon beckons. read more

Ordered: Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie (~$20): Malk almond milk, Zuma Valley coconut cream, dates, Vital Proteins vanilla collagen, Maple Valley maple syrup, banana, sea moss, hyaluronic acid, strawberries, avocado, vanilla stevia, organic strawberry glaze Coconut Cloud Smoothie (~$19): Malk almond milk, Zuma Valley coconut cream, banana, pineapple, avocado, vanilla stevia, organic blue spirulina, almond butter, vanilla collagen 8oz Premium Sushi (~$29) Sushi Sandwich (~$22): with wild tuna, salmon, organic cucumber, and creamy avocado with ginger, wasabi, and wrapped in nori Aya's take: Finally trying Erewhon! Erewhon needs no introduction as it has developed a reputation for wellness, exclusivity, and lifestyle. We got two of their popular smoothies, the Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie & Coconut Cloud Smoothie. Both were rich and luscious. They were super creamy and thick with a bunch of healthy additives (i.e., sea moss, hyaluronic acid, vanilla collagen, etc.). As far as taste, there's no argument that these both had great flavors. The Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie is strawberry forward with notes of vanilla while the Coconut Cloud Smoothie is more coconut forward with banana & nutty notes. I actually enjoyed the Coconut Cloud Smoothie more and the blue spirulina gives it that beautiful baby blue color. They're both pretty indulgent, so I highly recommend sharing. Now onto the food! I got their 8oz Premium Sushi which was surprisingly fresh & tasty. It had a good variety of nigiri and even the roll had salmon, tuna, and yellowtail with avocado. What more could you want? The Sushi Sandwich was also a good try! The "rice sandwich" part was surprisingly still crispy, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were balanced. I would've liked it more if the "rice sandwich" part was warm but I did enjoy it nonetheless. Surprisingly a great try & next time, I'll try their hot food! read more
I saw this place on TikTok and wanted to try it since we don't have one in the Bay Area. The store itself is very nice very well organized. It's not that big but they do have a good amount of options. They also have a huge section of prepared foods that looked really good. It is a little pricey but there's definitely quality behind the items. We got a strawberry smoothie for $20. We got it right away and it looked delicious. The smoothie is very good and you can tell it's quality products but it's up to each person if they're willing to pay $20 for a smoothie. read more

Erewhon LA was a little mid for the hype. The smoothies tasted fresh and weren't too sweet, but they also weren't surprisingly good, especially for the price. The wait line was really long because of how popular the place is, so it definitely took some patience. I tried the Hailey Bieber smoothie and a tropical smoothie, and I was actually surprised that the non-collaboration one tasted better. Overall, it was a fun place to try once because of the hype, but I don't think the smoothie itself was worth the long wait or the price. read more

I've gotten a few smoothies and packaged food items from here and they're consistently tasty and healthy. The store itself is really well organized and has a lot of interesting items. The only downside is obviously the items here are quite expensive, but it's great for a special treat! read more

Parking valet was limited and so was street parking. Everyone seems to order the Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze smoothie and left. So I just had to try it. It was just a strawberry banana smoothie with diced dates with cream or yogurt(?). Kinda like half-smoothie and half-parfait. Sure, I'll buy it once in a lifetime. Crumble Blueberry Muffin. Sweet and buttery but missing lots of blueberries. It was a dense muffin. Not a fan. In their deli section, they offered pizza, sandwiches and sushi made in-house. It's similar to Whole Foods. Their Margherita pizza did not seem appealing as if were topped with cubed mozzarella stick cheese. The half-baked cheese really showed. So I went ahead and checked their sushi case. I was glad that their hamachi was fresh and fatty. Their sushi rice was excellent. It was a good buy for a $20 sushi. This site was a small store but you could find a lot of things. Plus, you could see the Hollywood sign from afar. read more

We finally had the chance to come here for the Hailey Bieber smoothie (strawberry skin glaze. We ordered at the kiosk and had to wait some time (maybe 15 minutes to 20 minutes) since so many people ordered this. While we waiting we walked around and shopped for a few things. I paid $18.00 for one of the worst chicken pesto sandwiches on rustic bread I've ever had. The chicken was dry, and the parts they used to make it were bits and pieces, the pesto had flavor, but only covered 1/2 of the sandwich. The bread was dry, and way too thick for this type of sandwich. I could of fed a family of 7 with that price point. Never again. read more
Came in for a smoothie from the Tonic Bar. The attendant was very friendly and bubbly. There was maybe two other people waiting for their order but the wait was quite lengthy. I've been there before with a larger crowd and the wait time wasn't as long. Other than that, their smoothie was good as always. read more

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try Erewhon ever since we heard how costly it is to shop here. We don't have an Erewhon in Texas or Washington, so we wanted to check it out. We parked across the street in the neighborhood since we weren't familiar with the area and didn't know there was a parking lot. We ordered two drinks from the café, the Hailey Bieber's Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie ($20) and Lisa's Thai Up The World ($11) Neither drinks lived up to their hype. The Hailey Bieber drink is not worth $20 and the banana that was in our smoothie was OVERPOWERING. All I could taste was banana. The strawberry was no where to be found flavor wise. Lisa's drink was $11, which wasn't too outrageous, but still expensive for a smoothie. It didn't really taste like Thai tea to me...It tasted familiar, but I couldn't pinpoint what it was exactly. The service was good! The staff here are polite and friendly from the litter interactions we had. It's pretty busy in here, so it wasn't that enjoyable being in there for too long. The store is pretty small, too. read more
