This place is an absolute hidden gem! The vibes here are unmatched--it has a great, relaxed ambiance with amazing decor, including some awesome vintage cars that give it a really unique look. On top of the cool aesthetic, their Vietnamese coffee is really good perfectly strong, sweet, and authentic. It's the perfect spot to hang out, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a great drink. Definitely worth checking out!

Smooth coffee and vibes served at Idyllic. Coffee was delicious and not acidic barista was supercool. Grab a latte and browse the boutiques in this cars and clothes establishment. It is dog friendly, which gives it an extra visit-ability factor. Makina brand apparel sold here.

Vietnamese Einspänner - strong, bold Vietnamese cold brew topped with whipped condensed milk cream and a coconut butter cookie.

This was such a cool find in Arts District - such a big space with 3 cars inside, a lot of seating/working areas, and even a photo booth (not free though). Very insta worthy! I was excited for the mango sticky rice matcha but unfortunately they had run out by 2 pm. Ended up ordering the Vietnamese Einspänner which was okaaaaay. I wouldn't go out my way to get their coffee based on that drink.

It was kind of hard to find this place but once you're inside it's really nice. I loved the interiors and the cars! I ordered matcha with sweetener and Vietnamese einspanner. Einspanner was good. I really enjoyed it. But matcha was lacking in depth especially for its price point! It almost feels like they use sencha instead of matcha. But that's just my perspective. It'll be a really good place to hangout with your friends!

Holy cream top, dessert of my dreams, with a Korean coconut butter cookie on top, sprinkled with Maldonado salt, that I wish I did not know existed. I will dream about eating a whole box of these cookies for the rest of my life Generous amount of cream top, too, and the coffee underneath was nice and strong without being overwhelming for me. Once the cream mixed in a little, it was smooooooth and delightful. Some sort of drizzle on top of the cream top, which I didn't catch but which was soooo good. This will definitely become a craving for me. This space is fun, open and nicely cool on a hot day. The cars are neat, there is other fun stuff to look at. Not actually a ton of places to sit, unless you don't mind getting social w a stranger. Most tables were taken up by one person on a laptop. Nice music, but maybe a little too loud for studying...ymmv. Parking was street or paid lot only, but there were easy shady street spots under the fwy and a whole shaded pay lot ($5 flat, I think?) under the fwy when we came at 3pm on a Wednesday.

First time here and it's a super cool spot ! Loved the concept , with the cars and different vendors . Tried the sticky rice mango matcha, espresso tonic , & cold brew. I got the matcha just to try it because it sounded interesting , and it def was . It was okay and glad I tried it but wouldn't get it again. Espresso tonic was great and cold brew was good :) . Would def stop by again if in the area. Barista was friendly and we were served pretty fast :)

I really enjoyed my experience! The ambiance is a vintage car show room in a warehouse setting where you can sit, relax and enjoy a coffee. They have two genic film photo booths for $11 that comes with 2 prints. I ordered an iced latte with whole milk and vanilla syrup. For an iced latte, the price was $6/7 and size was decent! It was tasty and no complaints. The service was quick and there was plenty of seating on a mid morning Thursday. For parking, there's street parking but also a parking lot that was very convenient. I say, this coffee shop is worth a visit!

The cars, the music, the coffee... what more can you ask for? Such a cool laid back spot, and it's not too stimulating which is a plus if you want to work from here. Unfortunately, they ran out of the cold foam for the Vietnamese einspänner, but my vanilla iced latte didn't disappoint. Service was great, and there was an ample amount of parking.

We visited IDYLLIC for their cars and matcha. I would say their matcha here was ok, it tasted more like milk than actual matcha. The service here was straight to the point, we didn't get the welcoming feel when we ordered. Although, I would definitely give their ambiance 5 stars. The cars here were so cool to look at and take pictures of and it felt very warm and modern.

The unique atmosphere here is what sets this place apart. Lots of seating, old school cars, and vintage clothes are a nice touch. The coffee and matcha drinks here good but not quite up to par with other LA spots I've been too. Cheers.

Service was fast & the barista was very polite. The space is a mix of industrial & artsy. They had 3 really cool cars as you walk in & up to the counter. Also has a fun Photo Booth & a magic mirror that made me look hilariously deformed. I ordered a cortado which is my go to & also one of their signature drinks named "Viatnamese Einspänner". Both drinks were delicious. Has a cool lounge area with plenty of seating.

Possibly one of the coolest coffee shops I've been to in LA. Idyllic Coffee is tucked beneath the I-10 freeway and definitely not the most obvious location, but that's part of its charm. It feels like a true hidden gem you'd never expect to find in this part of the city. While the surrounding area can feel a bit sketchy if you're unfamiliar with it, the coffee shop itself and the parking lot are clean, well-kept, and felt safe enough to park and enjoy your visit without worry. The concept is especially cool...They've transformed what feels like a large garage or industrial unit into a retail space in the front, with the coffee bar tucked toward the back. Along the way, you're greeted by a Porsche, an old-school BMW, and even what looked like a vintage bus in the rear. The entire space feels thoughtfully curated and makes for an amazing photo spot. Drink-wise, I ordered the Vietnamese Eispienner. It was very well made and definitely on the strong side but in the best way. There was a bit more ice than I personally prefer, but overall I really enjoyed it. I gave this place a solid 5 stars, not only for the quality of the coffee but also because the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. It's a bit farther south in LA than I usually go, but I would absolutely come back. When we arrived, the lot was almost full, but we snagged the last parking spot. Spaces started opening up closer to closing time. I can only imagine how popular it gets during the daytime. I'd 10/10 recommend this spot to anyone.

One of the most unique places to get a drink. Perfect for taking pics!! There's also two photobooths to take pictures in and a small shop. Overall a must try place for the vibes. Drinks were pretty good as well! 10/10

My new favorite spot for decadent matcha and hojicha drinks!…read more The cream top on the hojicha einspanner was so creamy and thick, and it was also the perfect level of sweetness. The strawberry matcha einspanner was also yummy and had a great presentation The space is pretty small but there are a few seats available. The line was around 20 minutes long on a Saturday afternoon. Like most spots in ktown, the parking lot is limited and you'll likely need to find street parking, but it is definitely worth the hype!

Upon entering the place is clean, sleek, and modern. We were greeted right away. I already knew I was leaving with 2 drinks for the drive back home. I ordered: 1. Cold brew vanilla: Delicious, I love that tou can see the vanilla cream on top. This was definitely what I needed to wake me up. 2. Matcha einspener: I tasted this and immediately loved it when leaving the store. I saved it for last. It was so light and refreshing. I could easily drink it all day if they had a bigger size lol. I was hoping to try the seasonal mango cream matcha, but sadly it was gone. 3. Pastries: I wanted to try the sampler but I don't thinking they had it yet. I tried one of the cinnamon pastries. It was soft and very cinnamony. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll be back soon.

What an absolute treat in the Japan Town area! Not too far from the center, just a short walk away…read moreis Kokoro No Coffee- a pop-up coffee shop at Aloha Cafe. I stumbled across their Yelp page when I was visiting from out of town and checked the Instagram for their hours on a Saturday afternoon and was happy to see they were open! I am a sucker for pop-up coffee shop/cart concepts so I had to check it out. The pop-up is easy to find, it's outside facing into the parking lot, and they had a cute A-frame sign out by the street side. There was no line, and I ordered and sat down at one of the tables out front. The service was so warm, and I believe the shop is owned and operated by one man on his own! He was an absolute delight to meet, and he brought my matcha latte to me at the table when it was prepared. He suggested I get the cream top on it, and boy was that the perfect recommendation. I would say I'm a little bit of a matcha fiend... I think I got a matcha latte at 3 different places this day... and this one far surpassed the others. I think it was one of the best matcha lattes I have ever drank to-date. It was perfectly green, the matcha quality was phenomenal, both taste and look-wise. The texture was just right, perfectly creamy with barely any grittiness. The cream top only added to the drink, and didn't take away from the matcha flavor at all, which I feel like has happened at other places for me. I'm dreaming of this matcha latte days later, and need to go back to Kokoro No Coffee as soon as I am in town again. This was a spectacular find, and I hope this spot gets all the love it deserves! There is truly nothing like a great business ran by a great person and you can tell there's so much intention put into this concept. Highly, highly recommend and I could not sing praises more!
