I couldn't skip this place after hearing so much hype about SYNT Coffee--and it did not disappoint. Such a cute late-night dessert spot in K-town with a clean and modern vibe. I loved that they offer so many non-coffee options too. Their ceremonial-grade matcha was noticeably good--smooth, rich, and not bitter at all. Favorites: Injeolmi Latte And the real star? The Strawberry Injeolmi Croffle. So good. Crispy outside, soft inside, with the perfect balance of sweet and nutty flavors. Bonus: valet validation was only $3, which is a huge plus for K-town. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Delicious drinks I personally get matcha , sometimes it can be too milky for me but nonetheless still worth the try the inside is cute too but I have only been there once the rest of the times I just order online and pick it up

This is a fairly new coffee shop that is fast becoming to be a very popular place to hang out. The place is spacious with tons of seating but it's always packed mostly with students who are either socializing or studying. I'd been here three times already. They do offer a variety of different desserts and drinks. My go-to order is always matcha so I'm glad that they do use ceremonial grade matcha here. And if you'll order shaved ice, please be warned that the serving is gigantic in size. I got the mugwort and when it was brought to our table, my jaw literally dropped.

my boyfriend & I came here. We loved the ambience, so aesthetic and clean; a plus that theirs a lot of seating inside. We dined in, you can sit anywhere, and they come to serve you. But if you are doing takeout, you just order at the register. There was just one employee, but she was very kind & attentive We ordered a Tiramisu latte & a sea salt caramel latte. Not only does it look pretty, but definitely tasty. Both were strong, but very smooth espresso. For the tiramisu dessert, very creamy, tasty, and thick. There is a lot of drinks to choose from the menu just as for desserts as well. As for parking, it's a decent size, but it's always really packed. The restroom is tidy and clean, which I appreciate and for customers only. Definitely coming back.

When I arrived on a Sunday at 10am they just opened and the shared parking lot was empty and free! I basically had dessert for breakfast enjoying the Oreo matcha einspanner latte and mega sized Dubai chocolate strawberry! So delicious!

Very nice cafe to get work done. Has outlets, wifi, seating, and volume of music was okay to focus. Service was nice, order at your table unlike other cafes. I will say their drinks are very mediocre. very. I can lock in at this cafe so I'd come again for that. They're also open late, perfect for college students. Let me know if there are any drinks you recommend from here!

Came here for a late night dessert run and to get some work done. I got the injeolmi shaved ice with condensed milk on the side and absolutely loved it. I really liked how they included fruits inside the shaved ice as well since it added a refreshing flavor that balanced out the sweet milky ice. It's definitely really heavy though and something I'd recommend sharing with about 3-4 people. I also loved the ambience, with plenty of seating and the service was really attentive and nice. The only downside is the parking since they don't offer free parking and it's valet only. If you're lucky though, you can usually find metered or residential parking about a block away. I'd say that the stuff here is on the pricier side, but for the portion and quality, it balances out. I also love that this place closes so late.

This particular location has been about 10 things in 10 years, and here's the latest thing: SYNT (See You Next Time). Big and bright as could be with white walls and furnishings, there's plenty of room for you, your posse and your laptops. Show Me the Money KPop blaring. I'm always on the hunt for a delicious cream top einspanner latte, and here it is. With hours til 2am, you cannot go wrong. Friendly friendly staff and the sajangnim (사장님) is on the premises. You can give the boss a piece of your mind (or a compliment like I did). Elusive street parking or something like $5 "valet" in their lot. Valet but you park it, mister. Coffee menu is 20 pages long so there's something for everyone. Red velvet cream cheese cookie has got Yelp written all over it. Come get one!

SYNT Coffee in Koreatown is such a fun spot, especially if you're looking for somewhere open late. I stopped by and tried a mix of drinks and desserts, including their ceremonial matcha, espresso, shaved ice, cookies, and some of their Dubai chocolate items. Everything looked amazing and the matcha in particular stood out, super smooth and clearly high quality. The biggest plus is their hours. Being open until 2AM during the week and 4AM on weekends makes it a great late-night hangout spot, which is honestly hard to find in LA. The vibe is modern and a little trendy, and it's a great place to go with friends when you want something sweet after dinner.

Walking into SYNT Coffee in Koreatown feels like stepping into a space that was designed with equal parts intention and whimsy. I've visited plenty of cafés in Los Angeles, but SYNT has that rare ability to make you pause the moment you enter. The décor is stunning--modern without being cold, artistic without trying too hard. Soft neutral tones, sculptural seating, and warm lighting create a space that feels like a cross between a gallery and a cozy hideaway. It's the kind of place where you instantly want to sit down, take a breath, and stay longer than you planned. What struck me first was how thoughtfully curated everything felt. The textures, the shapes, the way the natural light hits the room--it all works together to create a calming, almost meditative environment. Even the small details, like the minimalist ceramics and the way drinks are presented, add to the experience. It's a café that understands aesthetics aren't just decoration; they're part of the flavor. The service at SYNT Coffee is genuinely delightful. Every interaction I had felt warm and unhurried, as if the staff actually enjoys being there. They're quick to offer recommendations, happy to talk through the drink options, and somehow manage to strike that perfect balance between friendly and unobtrusive. It's refreshing to feel welcomed without being rushed. I can't talk about SYNT Coffee without mentioning the Lotus Biscoff cookie. It's simple, sure, but somehow it becomes the perfect companion to their drinks. The caramelized crunch pairs beautifully with the creaminess of their matcha or coffee drinks. It's one of those small touches that elevates the whole experience--comforting, nostalgic, and just indulgent enough.

    Case full of sweets!

Solid little late night sweet treat! The one thing most Korean places don't have is desert. This place goes above and beyond in doing that. Really good cold case full of decadent cheese cake cups, cakes, jellies, etc. etc. They also had the best macaroon I have ever tasted. Super giant cream filled center and speckled with Korean cereal. Too freakin good! The service was fine but the staff is exhausted. I tried my best to engage and be silly and ask what their favorite was and they just pointed at the special Dubai chocolate poster with no emotion and said "this is popular." All good. I didn't come here to make friend. I came here to eat! Super cool atmosphere. Very posh indoor dining area with couches and plants and lounge vibes. Definitely a place I would play cards in while sipping on a boba.

    Desire N.

See you at SYNT. It is the perfect coffee shop for those coffee and tea lovers, it is opened until 2AM every week days & 4AM (Friday & Saturday). SYNT recently launched ceremonial matcha series that has a wide variety of drink choices, matcha is imported from Japan with the highest quality and flavor. The brand is close to launching their ceremonial matcha tins for you to try! Come check them out. You can pair your matcha with a large selection of desserts from cakes, croffles, shaved ice and macarons.

    A lot of options

I've been here a few times, and while the place itself is very clean and looks nice, the overall experience just isn't great. I tried the Mugwort Einspanner Latte, which was decent, not bad, but nothing memorable. The Pistachio Einspanner Latte was a bit too sweet and also didn't really stand out. So overall, drinks are below average. What bothered me the most, though, was the service. I had to order from the same person 3 times, and all times she came across as rude and completely uninterested. No greeting, no interaction she barely even spoke or look at the customer while taking the order. It just felt uncomfortable. So the most recent time I was there, while placing my order I even changed my mind and left. I really didn't want my day to be ruined by this experience. When I was leaving the server didn't even say bye, I mean, what else could be expected from this type of service. On top of that, the prices are higher than most other coffee spots in the area, and honestly, it doesn't feel justified. That might also explain why there's usually plenty of seating available. Overall, it's just not worth coming here. There are so many better places with stronger drinks and much friendlier service.

Great vibes and friendly people. As far as actual cookies go, I got the Walnut Chocolate Chip and…read moreRocky Road. I know Levain pioneered undercooked cookies. Personally, I don't like that style, I was hoping the original would change that for me! Long story short, I didn't like the Walnut Chocolate Chip. The pistachio added more texture to it for sure. Same as any Levain cookies, best enjoyed warm and fresh out of oven. I felt it tasted not much different to regular cream top latte with some cookie crumbles in it.
