First and foremost, palestina libre!! Second of all, 1000% recommend this cafe!! Coffee 10/10 We ordered their Milh Akka, a vanilla latte with pistachio paste and their Gazawi (with an extra shot) their version of a Spanish latte. Both were incredible! Neither coffee was overly sweet. They use Arabica coffee so the coffee profile was strong but very flavorful and not bitter at all. These coffees are hands down one of our favorites. Top 5 for us for sure!! Food 9/10 They don't have breakfast items but they do have sweets. They have a great variety of cheesecakes and pastries. We got a brownie and the Dubai chocolate bites. OMG! Those were to die for!! Breakfast is always nice and I wish they had just a few on the menu but everything we ordered to eat was delicious. Vibes/Ambiance : 10/10 We came on Labor Day morning and there were a few people there but it wasn't too packed. The space is big and the decorations are super cute. I did see they have a space opening soon right next door that they are marketing as a study hall. Such a great space to come work from. The culture isn't just seen there, but felt! It's a great reminder of Palestine and its beautiful people. They have a corner with art, books, games, and a bit of jewelry. Parking can be a little tough because it's in a plaza with other business but the good thing is there's a lot of it. Staff was incredibly sweet. Very welcoming and friendly and something I'd like to highlight for sure. That alone made us want to come back, and then we tried our coffees and it sealed the deal! Cafe Palestina will definitely be a cafe in our regular rotation. We can't wait to go back and try other menu items. read more

So happy this coffee shop finally opened!! It's super spacious inside with lots of seating to hang out at or even just to do work at. They're in the process of opening a study hall space next door which is very cool as well. The staff are really helpful if you have any questions. I've tried their pistachio latte (latte milh akka) and their biscoff latte (latte gimzo) and both drinks are really delicious. They're the most popular for a reason! I did adjust the sweetness on the pistachio and I thought it was perfect. I left the biscoff as it was and that was perfect as well. I've been coming back a few times bc their drink selections aren't really offered at other local places around the neighborhood. They also sell some desserts from the The Cheesecake Lab and I've tried the banana pudding (bomb)! I loveeee the vibes of this place! It's very thoughtfully curated and community oriented. Every piece of design is a homage to Palestine. Between the art work, colors, patterns, and goods they sell, everything is rooted in Palestinian culture and I think that's so beautiful and powerful, especially in this current climate. The service is always amazing. They have a lot of tables and seats - I could see someone studying there but the chairs are a bit hard. It's a bit cramped in the ordering section but it's not awful. I got the hot coffee and the spices in it are delicious - I'd compare it to the cafe de olla but different. The coffee and no bake desserts are a bit on the expensive side but definitely worth it. Loved the mango & bistoff cheesecakes $8/8oz. I've been a few times now and the staff is always so sweet and helpful. read more

It was a very hot day and I was so happy to find this beautiful cafe to get an iced coffee from! I love supporting non-chain, privately owned coffee shops. I believe Cafe Palestina opened a few months ago. Inside was beautiful decorated with Palestinian theme (keys, flags, Kufiya etc). I loved how each table featured different photos... and I picked the one showing a man with an olive tree- Mashallah! I ordered one of the signature lattes called "Latte Milh Akka" which features pistachio paste. It was very smooth, creamy and delicious. read more

As soon as I read LAs first Palestinian coffee shop somewhere on social media I headed it straight over there to show my support. We tried the Turkish coffee which we've had before, so we knew what we were getting ourselves into, it's very strong, but the cardamom still comes through nicely. I liked that the barista offered for us to taste it first and let us know we may be up for 2 days ha! We also tried the latte with oat milk with no sweeteners. I know really boring, but I like to taste the coffee rather than sweeteners. I wanna go back to try the rice pudding and other desserts they all looked very delicious . I've been waiting for this spot to open since I started attending Cerritos college. I'm so happy that they're finally open! I can't wait for the fall semester to start so I can get my daily fix before class. The service was incredible. I got the pistachio matcha for myself and I love when the matcha doesn't overpower the pistachio. It was a perfect balance! And it wasn't overly sweet. Came for the soft opening and was really happy with our 2 coffees. The Latte Al-Quds had a soft vanilla to it and the Latte Milh Akka had more of a pistachio hint to it. What stood out about both coffees were how fresh they tasted with the milks and ingredients. Everything tasted like "real food". I don't know how else to describe it. Nothing tasted like a syrup or sugary are overly processed. It was extremely refreshing. Reminded me of having food in Europe or other countries. The vibe was warm and welcoming and there was a lot of space and tables to study and meet with large groups. Came here on a Friday around 1030am, a couple days after they first opened. There was one person in line ahead of me and a third of the tables were full. I expected there to be some growing pains but everything was really well run and the employees were lovely! I ordered the cafe milh akka (pistachio latte) and rice pudding. The latte was INCREDIBLE. True pistachio flavor and they did not skimp on anything (pistachio cream and pistachio cold foam). The rice pudding wasn't too sweet and perfectly flavored. I was hesitant about the seating but it is way comfier than it looks, and I stayed for a couple hours doing some work. The bathroom is also really nice and the toilet even has a bidet! Good wifi and plenty of outlets. They also sell cute stickers, kuffiyehs, and some clothes. I will definitely be back soon, either for a coffee on the go or to hang out with friends. read more

I've seriously been waiting for this place to open, and I'm so happy I finally got to check it out! First impression... it just felt good. It was nice and cool inside (thank you for the A/C ), super clean, and there's plenty of room to sit, catch up with friends, study, work, or just enjoy your coffee. The staff was honestly one of my favorite parts. Everyone was so kind, patient, and welcoming. They customized my drink and even helped me pick something based on what I like. You don't get service like that everywhere. I also loved all the photos and décor throughout the café. It was beautiful to see Palestinian culture represented with so much pride. You can really feel the heart behind this place, and I love supporting local businesses that create a space where people can gather and feel at home. I've been waiting for this place to open. I peeked through the windows when I first saw a Hello Kitty wearing a keffiyeh sticker on the window. Love what they've done w the place. In being there, you are aware of who you are supporting, not overwhelming but def proud of who they are. I saw that they are expanding next door and think it will be a nice place for students to get away from campus in between classes. Tried a Turkish coffee today for the first time, it was strong almost herbal in a way. We got a pistachio latte as well, we loved the taste and packaging. The place was clean, cool from the outside rising temps, and the staff was nice and explained the menu to us. The pricing is very reasonable which my wallet appreciates. After reading about Cafe Palestina (LA Taco), decided to drop in. Parking was easy to find since it is located in the Alondra Plaza (diagonal to Cerritos College). Tried their iced Gazawi in regular coffee flavor. It was delicious, frothy, and with a bold coffee flavor. I'd order it again! Also, I was impressed with array of Filipino desserts. I love pandan, ube, and mango sticky rice, but loved that they had the combo of mango sticky rice in a pandan flavor as well as a in ube. Also, tried a scrumptious flaky pastry that I believe had a cheesecake-ish filling. Unfortunately, do not remember the name, but they were exquisite & I'd definitely order more of those in my next visit. We were so delighted by the peaceful and welcoming ambiance at Cafe Palestina. The Turkish coffee is my all-time favorite! My son really enjoyed his warm chocolate milk and even said, "¡Me encanta!" They have a variety of options for everyone, and the girl at the register and the barista were both incredibly kind and welcoming. We also loved that they spoke Spanish! What a great new cafe! We got the iced lattes, one with pistachio and one Gazawi and they were both delicious. My wife doesn't love coffee flavor so they were nice to add more milk. Drove in from Orange County to try this place. The service was great although I was not told that sweetness had to be added to order. No outside sweeteners available to add yourself which I don't like. I prefer to add sweetner myself. Tried the cappuccino which was not on menu it was good also tried the latte gizmo and it would have been great if sweeter. The place has beautiful Palestian decor. However there is an echo in the place that was very annoying as the other table was very loud and the echo was awful. The staff was of course supporting and treating this guy like their best friend while I got treated like garbage.
