Arrived on a Friday evening and it was a full house. It's casual but still beautiful aesthetic, and nice display of desserts and backlit marble countertops. You order inside and the servers will bring your order to your table. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. Love that this place is dog friendly as well. Rami was super helpful and friendly, going over some of the popular dessert and drink options. Since I came in the evening, a few of the desserts were already gone. The earlier you come, the more dessert options you'll have. They also have all day breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu which I did not try, but everything looked super tasty. I got a few desserts and a matcha strawberry foam latte (they use ceremonial grade matcha) and the biscoff latte. Loved that both weren't overly sweet and the biscoff latte had a rich coffee taste. My favorite dessert by far was the banana mousse. By the time we left, the line was out the door. Even though it was packed, the servers are super friendly and take the time to make sure you're enjoying yourself. Definitely a must try place if you're in Downey. We ordered their chicken Caesar wrap & their spicy chicken Alfredo per recommendation of the staff as well. This was the first time I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap at an establishment and it was okay. Plenty of chicken! The flavor was just lacking. I wasn't getting Caesar salad... I was getting like chicken and lettuce and cheese flavor nothing else. The wrap/tortilla wasn't the softest. Kinda stiff. The spicy chicken Alfredo.... I ordered because it was recommended by staff. I've made something similar, if not better at home. $25 for a plate of pasta and some chicken is wild. It's a large portion but I would not get it again. I wasn't wowed. It tasted like home cooking with a high price tag. Their coffee bar is cute with the idea of getting something printed on the cold foam. It's a cutesy thing, I understand it being an attraction for most. I thought their chai latte was good. After eating we went back inside to order pastries and a gentleman helped us and the customer service was drastically different. I was excited to try One Twelve Caffe, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. I ordered the matcha and it was honestly one of the worst matchas I've had. It lacked flavor and tasted off compared to what I would expect from a specialty coffee shop. I also ordered the tuna melt, which was equally disappointing. The sandwich wasn't very flavorful, and the fruit served on the side was clearly not fresh. It was very mushy and seemed like it had been sitting out for quite some time. Food portions were pretty good. I shared with my dtr and we still had food to go. The French toast was crispy and filled with creme. The creme was not too sweet. The crepes were delicious too. Ordered the pesto and stroganoff. The pesto was a lil salty for my taste but my dtr said it was fine. The stroganoff was very delicious. Good meat and sauce ratio. Would order that again. Matchas: Blue matcha and banana matcha. Sorry but this was a miss for us. We love matcha and they both tasted really artificial. Not enough matcha. The banana matcha tasted like artificial banana flavor and the blue matcha tasted like vanilla latte. We might come back for the food but unfortunately not the matcha. Thank you Bryan for being so helpful and answering all of my group's questions. I was able to try a lot of different menu items and I couldn't tell you one I didn't like. I ordered the Spanish latte which I was a little nervous about because it contained condensed milk but the woman at the counter assured me that if it was too sweet they would adjust it. I ordered the Cinnamon Oat Latte with oat milk and the Breakfast Crepe with no tomatoes. So let's start with the decor: amazing and welcoming, worth a selfie photo (Aesthetics). The music was 5/5, hands down such a good mix. The water station, with a mix of fruits, gives a refreshing taste. The Breakfast Crepe, however, gets 1/5; it had no flavor (it tasted like a plain scrambled egg). I had to ask for salt and pepper, and there was not enough béchamel sauce, or it had none at all. One12 Caffé is perfect if your group can't decide between breakfast, pasta, or dessert because they literally have it all, and breakfast is served all day (major win). Right next door to Olive Restobar is a hidden gem cafe that serves delicate desserts/parties and have amazing selections of lattes and matcha drinks with all types of milk substitute. I got the drink with macadamia milk and it was amazing!! Much milkier than oat and almond milk. Their dessert was perfectly sweetened and was extraordinary in their aesthetics! Rose vanilla latte - 4/5 sweetness is perfect as is. There is a very light hint of rose, but when asked about it it is difficult to accommodate everyone since some advise it tastes too perfumey whereas it's easier to add more rose flavor when it's underwhelm. I do love that the foam is rose flavored and macadamian milk is an option. You do very subtly taste the rose flavor at the tail end of each sip if you concentrate into it. You can ask for them to add more rose flavoring you are a fan, but it'll more so add sweet content than rosy content Sunrise Mango Mousse - 4.5/5 this was probably one of the most aesthetic desserts Ive ever had. It literally looks like a mango and the inside mimicked like the mango itself. There is an actual mango in there covered in the mouse and it was absolutely delectable. Banana Mousse - 4.5/5 this was one of the cutest desserts I've had!!! Shaped like a tiny banana and the inside definitely tasted like banana flavored pudding but not too artificial. Upon walking in there is a lot of outdoor seating with limited indoor seating. They have a wide selection of food, drinks and pastures which all looked so good! The cashier was very friendly. The portion is really good for the price and there was a great amount of chicken included. First, customers must order at counter. Then, customers take a number to the table, and Staff brings your order. When I arrived, the line is lengthy. It took three minutes and 30 seconds to reach the counter. Staff is welcoming, charming, and helpful. Staff eagerly shared detailed recommendations when prompted. My order took five minutes. Fair time. As mentioned, I appreciated the Cinnamon Oat Latte ($6 - Hot). This coffee arrived thin and foamy. It's not too sweet nor too bitter. Rather, the brew felt good quality. Its roasted sweetness reminded me of dark chocolate. However, this liquid is slightly coarse, as it brushed against the throat. Thankfully, the aroma and flavor is fairly pleasant. Regarding ambiance, One Twelve Caffe's (Downey) audio felt like a Brunch Nightclub hybrid. It's very loud and crowded. However, there's also utility. There's customer internet with password; its details hang on the plastic frame near the counter. There's also about five electrical outlets under the plush seating. There's a self-service water station. And there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. There's also indoor and outdoor tables. I also appreciated the framed "Barista Promise." This café in Downey was such a fun and memorable experience. Watching a robot make your espresso is honestly impressive and adds a cool twist to your usual coffee run. The espresso came out smooth and well balanced, and the whole process was fascinating to watch. The food was just as good as the experience. Their crêpes were delicious, perfectly cooked, and not too heavy. The croissants really stood out though. I tried both the pistachio and almond croissants and they were flaky, buttery, and full of flavor without being overly sweet. On top of the great coffee and pastries, the customer service was amazing. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the visit feel welcoming. Overall it is a great spot to check out if you are in Downey and want something a little different with great coffee, pastries, and service. read more

My wife and I went there for a breakfast sandwich and coffee to go. We both got a croissanwich and an espresso drink (they say they don't offer drip coffee, probably because it's a low-cost item), and our bill came to $55 and change, then another $10 and change for the tip (and there's no actual service - just taking your order, but they show you the screen with auto-populated tip amounts, and I can't help but feel guilty for saying no tip), so over $65 for a breakfast sandwich sandwich and coffee for two. The sandwiches were huge, I'll give them that, and the place is kinda cute, but the sandwich and my oat latte were mediocre. The sandwich was soggy and the espresso was slightly burned. I won't be returning. Even if the food were outstanding, it's so overpriced that I probably still wouldn't return. read more
