VIBES!!!! I learned of this place while I was dining next door. Decided to visit and boy was I was impressed. Walking in it Deor is super sexy. The color scheme gives Tiffany's vibes. Placing my order was very pleasant. The manager took my order and this man was just breathtaking in customer service. He notice I had on a Tiffany's shopping bag charm necklace and reference the Tiffany's store to the decor of the cafe. His energy was so dope. He was very attentive, polite and extremely friendly. I would revisit just because of him alone. I dined in and my avocado toast and potatoes arrived to my table and it was time to see if the food matched the vibes of this place. The potatoes alone were 10/10. The avocado toast was delicious and pretty. I also had a coconut matcha that was good as well. I noticed they serve pastries and wine too. I will definitely be returning to have a glass with a pastry just to soak up the beauty of this cafe. GO SEE FOR YOURSELF.

One Twelve Cafe is definitely the 'posh' spot in town. The line moved fast, which was great, though the staff seemed a little rushed and hurried us through the process once it was our turn. The Scoop on the Sweets: * Biscoff Cookie Cheesecake: 10/10. Definitely order this. * The Fruit Mousse Desserts: These are stunning and very trendy, but they didn't quite hit the same flavor high as the cheesecake for me. * The Vibe: Beautiful outdoor seating area--perfect for a sunny day. I'll be back to try their actual kitchen menu next time, but for a quick dessert run, it's a solid (and very pretty) choice!

Came here on a Friday around 12 fairly busy already. But service was good even for to go orders. Ordered a iced vanilla latte it was on the stronger coffee side. The chocolate muffin i asked for it warm but wasn't fully warmed up inside was cold. The flaky berry pastry was super sweet but well toasted. The matcha original was good. All in all good for a one time try.

One Twelve Caffe was such a gem. Upon entering you're greeted with the nicest staff inside this well lit gorgeous cafe that almost feels magical. Thank you Bryan for being so helpful and answering all of my group's questions. I was able to try a lot of different menu items and I couldn't tell you one I didn't like. I thought the panini was delicious as well as their pesto pasta. The pesto sauce was soo good. I would come back just for the pasta. Plus those drinks are super cute and you can choose the milk of your choice. I like all the different options they have. It is a pretty extensive menu for drinks, food, and pastries which is crazy to me since everything I had tasted so good as well.

Great place to study with friends. Spacious and cute decor. I had the kids breakfast and peach matcha for breakfast and tuna salad for lunch. Tuna salad was a huge portion for a great price. Friends and I really enjoyed the fruit desserts. We had the banana, pear, and mango. All exceptional. Loved the fruit filling. Service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and polite. Bryan really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Service was 100 stars.

Sometimes all it takes is one good TikTok to have me jumping in the car for breakfast, and that's exactly what happened with One Twelve Café. I saw a video of their stuffed French toast and immediately called my best friend for a breakfast meet-up.The second you walk in, you can tell this place is doing things differently. They have a coffee robot setup that feels completely next level, and the bakery display alone is worth the trip. The pastries are unbelievably creative -- some look like little mangoes and strawberries, almost too pretty to eat. And then there's the croissant tower. Do I fully understand why I need a croissant tower in my life? No. Was I still tempted to order one immediately? Absolutely.Everything felt fun, fresh, and thoughtfully done. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was great, and you can tell they really care about the experience as much as the food. Downey definitely has a new breakfast spot worth talking about, and I'll absolutely be back.

Was in the area for work and swung by this place to checkout their robot for making coffee and also try their crepes. I ordered the strawberry banana Nutella crepe with a Vietnamese iced coffee, which they said was one of their top sellers. The coffee was absolutely delicious, sweet but not too sweet. The crepe was also yummy, filled with fruit and just the right amount of Nutella. One of the best crepes I've had in a while. The shop is large and brightly lit with a lot of inside and outside (covered) seating. Parking is also a non issue as there is a huge parking lot thanks to the nearby cinema and shops.

This was such a fun, European style Café! It has a robot barista named Tom! David was our server and he guided us to pick out some of their best items: we ordered the crispy chicken breakfast bowl, spicy chicken Alfredo, two lattes: iced honey lavender, and a rose, vanilla, a fresh fruit basket dessert and a mango-filled dessert with delicate chocolate shell. They have an all day café menu, much more than a quick coffee stop. I want to try their crepes next time. If you are ever in Downey, check it out!

Had a great time trying this new brunch spot in Downey. I appreciate how the crispy chicken bowl had a lot of chicken and less potatoes. Everything was classically well made and simple but nothing stood out about it. It was lacking a little seasoning in my personal opinion. Eggs are also well cooked jammy, Still a great place for a simple American brunch.

Place is cute! Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Robot arm making coffee is cool. Order at the counter, self-seating and food brought to table by staff. Cashier could have been friendlier, wait staff was mild not too warm. Bathroom was single use, clean. I ordered a lavender honey latte and also a creme brûlée latte. Both were milk heavy and very sweet. Definitely order an add shot for the size and less sweet because it was milky syrup for my party. Food was very seasoned which is typically good but in this case I felt like my fingers bloated as I was eating from the sodium intake specifically the potatoes. Croissant sandwich was a big portion but everything was with just a lot. A lot cheese, a lot of egg, a lot of chipotle aioli. Crepe for breakfast sounded exciting but it was subpar. I didn't even think to take a photo for a $16 for an egg and the crepe itself was so so. This place with some modifications of my order is not bad, but personally a skip for me.

Busy Saturday afternoon, no close parking, no seating available in the small interior but found a spot on their patio. Line out the door to place order but it moved pretty quickly and person was friendly at the register. The lattes, food and pastries all came out at separate times and in random order. The breakfast bowl was just ok. The latte and desserts were delicious.

Have had so many treats and meals here. The Biscoff cookie butter latte is a favorite that I will definitely have again. It's surprisingly not too sweet. It's the perfect balance of cookie to coffee that hits just right.

Tried the new breakfast spot at Downey Landing. The place looks great and is very Instagram-able, but the food didn't quite deliver. I ordered the chicken bowl and it had a lot going on but surprisingly very little flavor. Needed Tabasco just to wake it up. We also tried a few pastries: Mango - 10/10 (best thing we had) Banana - 5/10 Lemon - 2/10 Biscoff cheesecake - 10/10 Total came out to $105 for 2 plates, 4 pastries, and 1 coffee. Not shocking for LA, but still steep for what we got. Honestly, I probably would've been happier with a breakfast burrito from a local mom-and-pop spot. Wishing them success, but this will likely be a one-and-done visit for me.

The foam with the custom latte art cost an extra $2 but I think it was worth it, at least for my first time. To be honest, Honey Greens seemed like a gimmicky place since I thought the foam art was all that it was known for, but no, their drink quality was actually good! I got the agave matcha latte for myself, and I enjoyed how rich it tasted and how vibrant it was in color. I also added a cold foam which made it too sweet for me. Next time, I plan on ordering an unsweetened matcha latte and add cold foam as the sweetener. I also tried a sip of the lavender matcha and that was the one thing I didn't like because the lavender overpowered the matcha. It was pretty busy for a Friday afternoon with all the tables filled and a short line formed after I walked in. The workers were all so kind, and it was overall a very inviting place with fun decorations and a myriad of art options for the cold foam.

I ordered the Coconut Iced Latte with Sweet Cream Cloud Foam through the app -- paid about $8.50. It was too much on the sweet side but honestly, the sweetness was on me since I added the cloud foam, but the drink itself was about a 6/10. My order was ready when I arrived, and the girl who greeted me was genuinely sweet and welcoming. On my way out, their pastry display caught my eye and I went back to grab a Matcha Pistachio Croissant ($7.50). A different person took my order and she seemed a little bothered when I came back to order, which was a bit off-putting. The croissant itself was disappointing -- it didn't taste fresh, and this was only about 30 minutes after opening. For $7.50, I expected a lot more, especially compared to other spots serving matcha pistachio croissants that are both tastier and more affordable. The shop was nice and clean and it has plenty of seating. That said, their matcha is still easily in my top 3 -- that part never disappoints. I'll keep coming back for that, but I'll be skipping the coffee and pastries going forward.

The ice to drink ratio is great! Extra half point for it looking aesthetically pleasing, but other than that, I wouldn't order it again. Service: 8/10 Everyone is super nice and easy to talk to! Ordering was easy and drink came out in 5-10mins, and they were quite busy when I walked in. Ambiance: 8/10 It's definitely a small space, but they make it work! I think the interior looks great and is very functional in terms of walking room. There's a really good balance of natural and artificial lighting. Nothing is overwhelming or super intense. Music was a bit loud for me personally. There are outlets here and there and the restroom was pretty clean. Parking lot is medium sized, and I had no issues finding a spot. There's indoor and shaded outdoor seating. Pretty good study spot overall. TDLR: Good study spot for individuals or pairs. Corn matcha is super mid. Clean restrooms, good lighting, easy parking, but music can be a bit loud. Rated 4 stars because of the drink. Willing to come back if a friend wanted to go, but wouldn't come back by myself.

I was planning to check out a weekend pop-up at the Promenade at Downey, and afterwards, I just wanted to chill with a couple of drinks at 7 Leaves. Wait, *a couple* of drinks? Oh yes! I noticed that 7 Leaves had an offer for rewards members: Free Strawberry Hibiscus Tea with a $5 purchase. I could have gotten a couple small bites e.g. macarons with the Strawberry Hibiscus Tea, but I chose to get another refresher: Summer Mint, priced at $5.50. I don't think the offer would have worked inside the cafe, so I placed my order in my car and headed inside after doing so. Previously in the app, I was able to order all the toppings for a complimentary drink at no extra charge, but these days, you're only allowed one complimentary topping; I chose the crystal boba. I needed to use the restroom, so while my drinks were being crafted, the bobarista at the front gave me the six-digit code specifically for the left restroom. Was the right restroom reserved for employees only? Hmm not sure. However, as soon as I punched in the code for the left restroom, it was still locked because another customer was inside. I wouldn't have known if it was occupied or not, so I tried the code on the right restroom. Didn't work. I had to wait for that other customer to exit the restroom before I could punch in the restroom code for the third time. As soon as I left the restroom, I heard the bobarista call out my name, and she handed me my drinks in a takeout bag with a drink carrier holding my drinks. But since there was space on the community table by the front counter, I sat at an open seat there to enjoy my drinks and scroll through my phone. My takeout bag included two straws: one regular, and one boba. I went with the Regular Size Summer Mint since it was already over $5, and 40 oz of refreshing drinks would already be quite a lot in one visit anyways. I also declined on a topping, normally 90 cents, for the Summer Mint because with or without a topping, I would still only earn 6 leaves on my purchase. The Strawberry Hibiscus Tea didn't have any actual strawberry bits, but it did have a slice of lime in it. In the app, you can request extra sweet, but that drink was already inherently quite sweet that I fear if I had chosen extra sweet, it would have been over the top. The Summer Mint had a slice of orange and some basil leaves. It was kind of sour and had quite a citrus-y taste, a stark contrast from the strawberry hibiscus that I alternated sips between the two drinks so that my taste buds wouldn't be bored lol. If you wanted to go extra sweet on this one, I wouldn't recommend against it, but it may take away from the intended flavor of the refresher. For both drinks, I ordered Easy Ice, but I think they went Medium on the ice if that makes sense. It was more than I was expecting, so maybe I should request no ice next time lol. They have a pitcher of water at the front counter, which made me want to finish my drinks inside, and then fill up the cups with some H2O prior to leaving. Unfortunately, they had run out of water, and they didn't refill the pitcher. One thing I do want to mention about the drink carrier is that you need to shove the drinks into the slots. I tried setting my Strawberry Hibiscus Tea back inside, but it toppled over easily. Luckily, it was still sealed at the time, so nothing, or maybe a little bit at best, spilled out. The only negative about my last visit was that there was some little kid who came into the cafe trying to sell paletas to patrons who were studying or getting work done inside. Kind of disruptive to the coffee shop ambience I had sought, but he left after a couple of minutes. Overall, I'd be willing to return for a nice refreshing drink next time I'm in Downey!

The drinks aren't so cheap, but I just crave the Thai iced tea. It's more sugar than anyone should have at one sitting, but since it's so good, I still take the chance. The Thai tea is very strong and that mixes well with the cream? half-and-half? sweetened condensed milk? that floats on top. We've also had the iced coffee with sea salt. Talk about a flavor bomb! The iced coffee comes with some kind of cream float on top and has sprinkles of sea salt. Perfection! We have visited many of the drive-throughs, and they are fast and friendly as are the walk-in cafes.
