Yes, I'm very impressed with their menu and all day long serving brunch and drinks, nice ambience. Met up with a friend for a working lunch and chose this spot from Yelp as it was halfway between us. Neither of us knows Downey at allllll so we were trusting the almighty reviews. Yelp did and the One Twelve Caffe did not disappoint! We split a tuna melt panini and a pistachio chocolate croissant and everything was delicious. The service was friendly and the restaurant was well staffed which i feel is rarely the case these days. Usually smaller restaurants like these are understaffed and tables sit unbussed and wiped down for too long. Not here! The inside and outside were really clean and tables were cleared quickly. We actually overstayed our welcome but no one ever hounded us to leave the table. It wasn't packed since it was an early lunch on a Thursday, but it was nice to be able to have our meeting and not feel pressured to leave. I only wish this place was close to me! It was my first time visiting the area, and One Twelve Caffe was such a cute find! It's conveniently located next to the Cinemark theater, making it a great spot for brunch, coffee, or a meal before a movie. The café has a beautiful teal-and-gold interior, plenty of indoor seating, and a spacious open patio. Everything was clean and well maintained, including the restroom. One of the most unique features is their latte-printing robot, Tom, who can print custom designs directly on top of your drink! They have an extensive menu with a wide variety of entrées, drinks, pastries, and desserts. The portions are huge, so come hungry! I tried the mango matcha latte and honey lavender latte. Both were on the sweeter side, but still refreshing and perfect for summer. It was also my first time trying chilaquiles, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but they were flavorful and came in a very generous portion. I also enjoyed the steak and eggs--the steak was especially delicious. The Mediterranean salad was a fresh and healthy option with lots of different ingredients. Tables all seemed to be busy but while we order some people left and servers were quick in cleaning them up. We decided to try the spicy chicken Alfredo great flavor I did feel like it had a kick to it but really good and portion was good for the price. The pineapple pancakes were also really good. We also got what I think was the La Croissanwich really packed croissant with egg cheese and veggies, the breakfast potatoes that came with it were my favorite. Went back for a second time and I didn't have a good experience. I ended up getting the avocado toast and I did not like it. I asked for it on sourdough but the bread didn't taste too good or just wasn't toasted well. The labneh spread was heavy on the toast along with the avocado, which was more like a guacamole thick spread. The heavy spread ultimately made the bread soft and not toasty. It felt like too much food as well. One solid slice of toasted bread with fresh avocado slices and buttered toast would have been better. In the end I got a stomach ache and was sick the rest was of the evening. Maybe it was the yogurt spread as I'd never eaten it before. I would not recommend this particular dish. read more

One12 Caffe has an incredible atmosphere, it's super clean, beautifully decorated with a chic blue, white, and gold color palette, and has a wonderful vibe for catching up with friends or getting some work done. I was getting like chicken and lettuce and cheese flavor nothing else. The wrap/tortilla wasn't the softest. Kinda stiff. The spicy chicken Alfredo.... I ordered because it was recommended by staff. I've made something similar, if not better at home. $25 for a plate of pasta and some chicken is wild. It's a large portion but I would not get it again. I wasn't wowed. It tasted like home cooking with a high price tag. Their coffee bar is cute with the idea of getting something printed on the cold foam. It's a cutesy thing, I understand it being an attraction for most. I thought their chai latte was good. After eating we went back inside to order pastries and a gentleman helped us and the customer service was drastically different. Ordered the pesto and stroganoff. The pesto was a lil salty for my taste but my dtr said it was fine. The stroganoff was very delicious. Good meat and sauce ratio. Would order that again. Matchas: Blue matcha and banana matcha. Sorry but this was a miss for us. We love matcha and they both tasted really artificial. Not enough matcha. The banana matcha tasted like artificial banana flavor and the blue matcha tasted like vanilla latte. We might come back for the food but unfortunately not the matcha. Maybe their coffee-based drinks are good but wouldn't recommend the matcha if you're a true matcha-connoisseur. Croissant sandwich was a big portion but everything was with just a lot. A lot cheese, a lot of egg, a lot of chipotle aioli. Crepe for breakfast sounded exciting but it was subpar. Walking in to the Breakfast eatery I noticed a few customers enjoying their breakfast. I did not get greeted, but I did take some awesome photos. I ordered the Cinnamon Oat Latte with oat milk and the Breakfast Crepe with no tomatoes. So let's start with the decor: amazing and welcoming, worth a selfie photo (Aesthetics). The music was 5/5, hands down such a good mix. The water station, with a mix of fruits, gives a refreshing taste. The Breakfast Crepe, however, gets 1/5; it had no flavor (it tasted like a plain scrambled egg). I had to ask for salt and pepper, and there was not enough béchamel sauce, or it had none at all. I did taste the Swiss cheese, and it did come with 3 little cornichons, which were the highlight of the crepe. Would I come back? Ugh, yes, I'll give it another try. But not anytime soon read more
