Another favorite added to my list!! Wish this place wasn't so far from me...would definitely be coming more frequently if it was lol but can't wait to come back and try their other drinks! There are a few flavors for coffee that get me immediately and a strawberry cold foam is one of them. I was waiting inside from their back window which I didn't realize even had another side to order lol but thanks to the lovely young ladies in front of me who let me know that I had to go outside to order. Staff are super friendly and drink came out quick through their back pickup window located inside the food hall. I ordered the La Fresita which is an iced latte with strawberry cold foam and it was perfect. Strong espresso with the delicious strawberry flavor. This food hall is HUGE! Lots of food spots inside and tons of seating in a nice, open, shaded area. Looking forward to coming back hopefully in the near future! IG: @ammysalamii

Super cute cafe and a huge space! Their coffee blends are so smooth and delicious- el abuelo was so yummy. it also tasted exactly like those asian grass jelly drinks, which was an awesome suprise haha. lots of seating, free wifi, quick service, lots of open windows, great natural lighting

Iced Cafe de Olla with Almond milk

Nice spot in a beer garden, has great coffee! Got an iced Cafe de Olla for $5 and it was delicious! Can add in milk for no extra cost! Their specialty lattes are also very good. Quick good service, plenty of public parking in back and around. I would definitely come back!

horchata latte, cookie butter latte, concha

We ordered the cookie butter latte, horchata latte and a concha and everything was soooo good! We of course had to add a cute lil image to our drink too, which costs an additional $1 to add. The price for our drinks with the image were between $7-$8, which wasn't bad at all, because the cups were bigger than like a grande at starbucks. The taste of both drinks were so so good and i would definitely come back! Service was quick and super friendly as well!

PANA cafe is a go to spot for me and the hubby when he wants a coffee and I want my matcha! I like how they switch up flavors seasonally and the last time we were here I ordered a banana matcha($8). As a bonus I got a cute snoopy design on top of it for a $1 more. Loved the flavors of the match but for $8 I wish I had more of it. I felt like I had a few sips and it was gone! I thought the design was cute but it disappeared pretty quickly but for instagram story pic it does the job! They also have some breakfast items and Mexican bread if you want more with your drinks! Staff is friendly. We usually find parking in front or in the back of the steel craft.

Stumbled upon this little cute coffee shop mid week and I'm so glad I did. I love the vibes it gives off, vibrant coffee makers ready to make your cafecito. I chose the strawberry matcha of course since that seems to be all I want to order lately and it tasted exceptional, like a cold strawberry ice cream pop. They even sell pan dulce which was soft, wish they could have warmed it up but I also didn't ask if they could so that's on me. I love that they have two areas where you can order and mobile order as well to speed things up if you are in a rush. Overall a quant spot where you can grab n go or sit down and enjoy a delish coffee.

mila's matcha + la fresita

Solid local coffee spot that you can just walk up to right off Bellflower Blvd. It's part of Steelcraft, an outdoor eatery with several restaurants and a communal dining area. There are other Steelcraft locations in Long Beach and Garden Grove. Pana's Cafe is a Mexican cafe and I love how they showcase traditional flavors through their drinks. Not only are the pan dulce and drinks good but the staff is always helpful and friendly even when they're super busy. We got Mila's Matcha and La Fresita which were both magically delicious. For $1 you can add cute little art designs to the cold foam. Other drinks I've tried and would recommend are Pana's Latte, El Abuelo, Horchata Latte, and Strawberry Matcha!

Pumpkin cream matcha (unsweetened matcha) with almond milk and Mila's match with oat milk. $1 extra for the designs but worth it
Karen G.

A friend posted their Panas Coffee with a Hello Kitty pumpkin design on IG, and I had to drive out to Bellflower with my sister to get one ourselves. I didn't realize it was inside SteelCraft, which had a relaxed, chill vibe when we went on a Wednesday afternoon. I got the Pumpkin Cream Matcha with almond milk and requested no sweetener in the matcha itself, since the pumpkin cream on top already had sweetness. It ended up being the perfect balance--not too sweet, with the cream adding just the right amount. Plus, the Hello Kitty witch design was adorable and totally gave Halloween/autumn vibes. The design was $1 extra but worth it. My sister got Mila's Matcha with oat milk and the standard sweetener, but even she (a sweets girl!) found it a little too sweet. She said next time she'd ask for less sweetener to better enjoy the matcha. Overall, we loved the drinks and were obsessed with the latte art. Super cute and definitely worth the trip!

Cookie Butter Latte & Double Espresso

Pana's is the coffee shop at SteelCrafts Bellflower location. There shop faces Bellflower Blvd so you don't need to go in if you just want coffee. They also open earlier then the rest of the facility at 7am :) We ordered a Cookie Butter Latte & Double Espresso. The Latte was delicious, smooth & rich with plenty of biscoff flavor and a nice cold foam. The Espresso was solid. The staff was very friendly even tho they were busy. This is a family owned Mexican Coffee shop so most of the drinks are themed accordingly and they also have a selection of Pan Dulce (sweet bread) :) There is plenty of free parking at the rear entrance and on the street. Everything is neat and clean including the greater facility & parking lot. I love SteelCraft in general and this is a great coffee shop that is worth the trip by itself :)

Kids mocha and banana cream cold brew
Brenda L.

The good: I got a Mexican Swiss jelly roll that was surprisingly good and not too sweet with a light coconut coating on the outside. It was moist and cute. The banana cold brew was refreshing. The cafe was busy and drew a crowd. They do really cute latte art add ons for $1 that include hello kitty or Labubu. They also had savory breakfast options. I liked that they had a non-coffee part of the menu as well as a kids menu. I got my kids a kids "mocha" which was like a chocolate milk with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. They're located in the ooen air food hall Steelcraft so there's plenty of communal dining areas and a nice area for kids as well. I liked all of the modern but also Mexican-inspired options. The bad: The kids mocha was probably sweeter than it needed to be. The interesting: This was next to the LA Firefighter museum so we made it a fun kids day where I got coffee and kids got to see cool fire trucks.

Horchata Latte with snoopy design and cookie butter latte hello kitty design

The best coffee I have ever had. Starbucks who ? This coffee shop is by far my favorite place I'm practically there every morning. I work in palos verdes and live in Downey so it's convenient and on my way to work. I get the cookie butter latte and always get a design added. That's my personal favorite sometimes I get the horchata latte and it's also delicious also the staff here is amazing all the ladies are sweet and helpful each time I stop by ! I would recommend if in the area or if you're trying a new coffee shop !

Really cute spot for a cup of coffee, came here with a friend for the first time and no regrets! The service was fast and there's a little plaza area where you can hangout

Honey Greens Cafe - Dodgers Latte Art

Honey Greens Cafe

I loved the Spanish latte since the coffee was bold and well-rounded without being overly sweet. I…read moreadded the cloud foam on top which added extra creaminess and sweetness. The foam with the custom latte art cost an extra $2 but I think it was worth it, at least for my first time. To be honest, Honey Greens seemed like a gimmicky place since I thought the foam art was all that it was known for, but no, their drink quality was actually good! I got the agave matcha latte for myself, and I enjoyed how rich it tasted and how vibrant it was in color. I also added a cold foam which made it too sweet for me. Next time, I plan on ordering an unsweetened matcha latte and add cold foam as the sweetener. I also tried a sip of the lavender matcha and that was the one thing I didn't like because the lavender overpowered the matcha. It was pretty busy for a Friday afternoon with all the tables filled and a short line formed after I walked in. The workers were all so kind, and it was overall a very inviting place with fun decorations and a myriad of art options for the cold foam.

Honey Greens has been one of my favorite matcha spots for a while now, so I decided to branch out…read moreand try a few other things on my last visit. I ordered the Coconut Iced Latte with Sweet Cream Cloud Foam through the app -- paid about $8.50. It was too much on the sweet side but honestly, the sweetness was on me since I added the cloud foam, but the drink itself was about a 6/10. My order was ready when I arrived, and the girl who greeted me was genuinely sweet and welcoming. On my way out, their pastry display caught my eye and I went back to grab a Matcha Pistachio Croissant ($7.50). A different person took my order and she seemed a little bothered when I came back to order, which was a bit off-putting. The croissant itself was disappointing -- it didn't taste fresh, and this was only about 30 minutes after opening. For $7.50, I expected a lot more, especially compared to other spots serving matcha pistachio croissants that are both tastier and more affordable. The shop was nice and clean and it has plenty of seating. That said, their matcha is still easily in my top 3 -- that part never disappoints. I'll keep coming back for that, but I'll be skipping the coffee and pastries going forward.

Homeboy Coffee - Ube matcha latte and their signature cream top. Balanced, creamy, and not overly sweet.

The ice to drink ratio is great! Extra half point for it looking aesthetically pleasing, but other than that, I wouldn't order it again. Service: 8/10 Everyone is super nice and easy to talk to! Ordering was easy and drink came out in 5-10mins, and they were quite busy when I walked in. Ambiance: 8/10 It's definitely a small space, but they make it work! I think the interior looks great and is very functional in terms of walking room. There's a really good balance of natural and artificial lighting. Nothing is overwhelming or super intense. Music was a bit loud for me personally. There are outlets here and there and the restroom was pretty clean. Parking lot is medium sized, and I had no issues finding a spot. There's indoor and shaded outdoor seating. Pretty good study spot overall. TDLR: Good study spot for individuals or pairs. Corn matcha is super mid. Clean restrooms, good lighting, easy parking, but music can be a bit loud. Rated 4 stars because of the drink. Willing to come back if a friend wanted to go, but wouldn't come back by myself.

7 Leaves Cafe - Taro Milk Tea

Okay, I think there's enough for me to give the Downey 7 Leaves Cafe a 4th star, but they still…read morehave quite a lot of work to do to garner the 5th star from me. I was planning to check out a weekend pop-up at the Promenade at Downey, and afterwards, I just wanted to chill with a couple of drinks at 7 Leaves. Wait, *a couple* of drinks? Oh yes! I noticed that 7 Leaves had an offer for rewards members: Free Strawberry Hibiscus Tea with a $5 purchase. I could have gotten a couple small bites e.g. macarons with the Strawberry Hibiscus Tea, but I chose to get another refresher: Summer Mint, priced at $5.50. I don't think the offer would have worked inside the cafe, so I placed my order in my car and headed inside after doing so. Previously in the app, I was able to order all the toppings for a complimentary drink at no extra charge, but these days, you're only allowed one complimentary topping; I chose the crystal boba. I needed to use the restroom, so while my drinks were being crafted, the bobarista at the front gave me the six-digit code specifically for the left restroom. Was the right restroom reserved for employees only? Hmm not sure. However, as soon as I punched in the code for the left restroom, it was still locked because another customer was inside. I wouldn't have known if it was occupied or not, so I tried the code on the right restroom. Didn't work. I had to wait for that other customer to exit the restroom before I could punch in the restroom code for the third time. As soon as I left the restroom, I heard the bobarista call out my name, and she handed me my drinks in a takeout bag with a drink carrier holding my drinks. But since there was space on the community table by the front counter, I sat at an open seat there to enjoy my drinks and scroll through my phone. My takeout bag included two straws: one regular, and one boba. I went with the Regular Size Summer Mint since it was already over $5, and 40 oz of refreshing drinks would already be quite a lot in one visit anyways. I also declined on a topping, normally 90 cents, for the Summer Mint because with or without a topping, I would still only earn 6 leaves on my purchase. The Strawberry Hibiscus Tea didn't have any actual strawberry bits, but it did have a slice of lime in it. In the app, you can request extra sweet, but that drink was already inherently quite sweet that I fear if I had chosen extra sweet, it would have been over the top. The Summer Mint had a slice of orange and some basil leaves. It was kind of sour and had quite a citrus-y taste, a stark contrast from the strawberry hibiscus that I alternated sips between the two drinks so that my taste buds wouldn't be bored lol. If you wanted to go extra sweet on this one, I wouldn't recommend against it, but it may take away from the intended flavor of the refresher. For both drinks, I ordered Easy Ice, but I think they went Medium on the ice if that makes sense. It was more than I was expecting, so maybe I should request no ice next time lol. They have a pitcher of water at the front counter, which made me want to finish my drinks inside, and then fill up the cups with some H2O prior to leaving. Unfortunately, they had run out of water, and they didn't refill the pitcher. One thing I do want to mention about the drink carrier is that you need to shove the drinks into the slots. I tried setting my Strawberry Hibiscus Tea back inside, but it toppled over easily. Luckily, it was still sealed at the time, so nothing, or maybe a little bit at best, spilled out. The only negative about my last visit was that there was some little kid who came into the cafe trying to sell paletas to patrons who were studying or getting work done inside. Kind of disruptive to the coffee shop ambience I had sought, but he left after a couple of minutes. Overall, I'd be willing to return for a nice refreshing drink next time I'm in Downey!

OMGOSH YES, I recommend this place! There are several 7 Leaves Cafes in the Orange County, CA area,…read moreand all have been very good. The drinks aren't so cheap, but I just crave the Thai iced tea. It's more sugar than anyone should have at one sitting, but since it's so good, I still take the chance. The Thai tea is very strong and that mixes well with the cream? half-and-half? sweetened condensed milk? that floats on top. We've also had the iced coffee with sea salt. Talk about a flavor bomb! The iced coffee comes with some kind of cream float on top and has sprinkles of sea salt. Perfection! We have visited many of the drive-throughs, and they are fast and friendly as are the walk-in cafes.
