Their version of banana milk matcha is sooo good. I think they use the Korean banana milk from those little cartons! It tastes very unique & delicious. I also add vanilla bean cream top and it's the perfect sweet treat! I would love to work here, but they don't have ANY outlets :( otherwise the ambiance inside is cute and it's very minimal/ clean inside. The strawberry milk matcha is sooo good too!

    Matcha latte + biscoff latte

I always pass by this place since I basically live next door and I'm glad I finally stopped by! Came here around 11 AM on a Friday morning and it wasn't too empty nor busy as people continued to come in. I got the Matcha Latte w/ whole milk and my cousin got the Biscoff Latte w/ oat milk. The matcha latte was good, but I've had better (perhaps my standards are higher because of all the Ktown cafes). Regardless, I enjoyed the matcha latte... I just wish the matcha was stronger, but I could tell it was good quality ceremonial grade. Maybe I'll try their strawberry latte or add a cream top in the future for a sweeter taste. As for the Biscoff Latte, my cousin thought it was a good amount of sweetness and the cream top was delicious to balance out the latte. She wishes that the latte tasted more like cookie butter/Biscoff, but it did come with not only one, but two biscoff cookies! From what I saw, there were plenty of parking spots available and tables for studying! Only downside is I didn't see any outlets, but there is a restroom inside and they were playing nice cafe-esque music. I love how the interior looks--very cute, clean, calming, and minimalistic! I'm happy we have a friendly neighborhood coffee/matcha spot and I'd probably come here again if I'm looking for a drink fix or a study spot.

I came across this coffee shop earlier this year, but I feel like it's finally time to write a review because I love this place so much! It's a smaller coffee shop, but the inside is clean, minimal, and spacious. It's a great spot for studying or just hanging out. I've studied here a couple of times, and the playlist is always a banger. The whole place is just such a vibe and the staff is always friendly. The drinks are made so well and consistently every time I come in. My go to is the Mango Matcha and I add their vanilla cream top. My second favorite is the Honey Oat Lavender Matcha. Both are so good! I always tell hubby that this place deserves more recognition, but at the same time, I'm kind of glad to gatekeep it. Such a hidden gem hehe! I love bringing my hubby and family here, and they always enjoy their drinks too. Their matchas never disappoint. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots.

This coffee shop is an absolute treasure. Delicious and affordable, Mono Coffee is a low-key space tucked on the far east side of Lakewood. It was quiet and calm when I dropped in a Wednesday morning. It was super low-key. I tried their iced banana latte. The banana flavor was blended into the milk and was extra rich and banana-y. It was so delicious. The espresso was strong and helped balance out the super sweet banana-iness. They had so many pastries in their case! Definitely something for everybody to snack on while they enjoy their beverage. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

Pretty nice coffee shop , really nice clean minimalist aesthetic. I got the cookie butter latte it was really good: the flavor isn't that strong but the coffee and or espresso was. My ham and cheese croissant was really good just needed to be warmed up more.

I wanted to try out this cafe since I was in the area. It's located in front of a busy intersection in a small plaza with free parking so it can be easy to miss if you're not actively searching for it. However, once you go inside, the interior is so cute, clean, and minimal! I ordered the einspanner (whole milk) and a croffle. The drink was really good, not too sweet, and pretty strong! I wish I had more people with me to try other drinks since their menu looked great. The croffle was warmed up for me and came out the same time as they called for my drink which I thought was a nice touch. It was sweet and slightly sticky where small bits would be stuck to my teeth but overall delicious.

    Vanilla latte w/ almond milk

Nice spot! I decided to stop by and try the coffee here. I got an iced vanilla latte with almond milk; it was pretty good. I also tried the coffee cake which they warmed up, and that had a really good flavor and texture. The service was friendly but on the slower end, and the interior was clean and simple. The upbeat music playing in the background was a nice touch. Note that this shop is in a small shopping center, but appears to have plenty of parking.

London Matcha Cloud (Oat Milk). Periodt. I came here on a Thursday afternoon after a hot day playing pickleball. The parking lot is small, but I was lucky to find a spot in front. The store's interior is very minimal with a few tables to sit and study. They have one restroom with a code to access. I came here thirsty and ordered myself two drinks. The London Matcha Cloud sounded interesting and since this is a coffee shop, I ordered the Biscoff Latte to-go. Who knew that London Fog and Matcha would harmonize so well together? The earl grey based tea stood out and so did the Matcha! The drink was silky, refreshing, and sweet. I should have ordered a second one to-go. This is a 5/5 for me. The Biscoff Latte was also delicious. The barista said the coffee would be sweet, but I think the London Matcha Cloud was sweeter. For a coffee, the drink was sweet and creamy. The Biscoff flavor was light. This is a 4/5 for me. The cups are small, but the flavor and quality are worth it.

Spanish Iced Latte w/ Oatmilk + Cream Top

I have been coming to this coffee shop for almost 2 years! The owner and staff are very friendly. The inside is always clean, plenty of seating, and natural lighting to get work done. They have a variety of pastries to choose from and my favorite go too are the Croffles (have them warm it up if you plan to eat it right away). I have tried a variety of drinks and one of my favorites is the Spanish Iced latte. I like to add cream top and substitute for oatmilk (Never disappoints). The Biscoff iced latte is also good, it is not as sweet compared to the Spanish if you want something that is a little more subtle in flavor. Their Einspanner would be the next one that is less in sweetness compared to the other two. My recommendation is add the cream top to each of these for an extra sweetness without having to add any extra syrup to them. Overall wanted to give the shop the credit they deserve and hope you stop by and try it for yourselves :)

Parking: there was a parking lot is on the smaller side. It was almost full, but I was still able to get a parking spot Service: the baristas were very kind. Drinks were made quickly and efficiently. Ambiance: there were a few tables, ample space for studying. It wasn't too busy (at least when I went) Food/drink: Banana Matcha Latte (no milk substitution option) 5/10: they seem to just use 1 of tbe Korean banana milk cartons for the banana flavor, which I wasn't the biggest fan of. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the greatest. There are some other stronger banana matcha latte contenders in Orange County Mango Matcha Latte (with oat milk) 6.5/10: it was a unique and creative drink, but it personally wasn't my cup of tea. The mango flavor tasted fresh and not artificial, but the matcha was on the grassier side so it wasn't what I was looking for Together, the drinks costed $14.45. I was expecting a bit more from this coffee shop given the past glowing reviews, but drinks wise, it was a miss for me. Perhaps I just didn't select the right beverages for my own taste! If I were in the area, I would potentially come back for some of the pastries they offered. The pastries made the whole store smell delightful and delicious.

    "Mango creamsicle" tea

Another incredible day at Mono coffee. I wasn't planning on stopping this morning but after my long commute I needed to make a stop for some caffeine. The mango creamsicle special for the summer is SO GOOD. Refreshing, creamy, not too sweet. It has the flavor of mango lassi, not the fake perfume tasting, mango most places have. The cream has real vanilla bean in it. I needed to powder my nose so to speak and received the code to the ultra clean restroom. By the time I was finished my drink was ready super fast! And I was back on my way to work.

I placed a mobile order, and the process was smooth I received text updates when my order was confirmed and again when it was ready for pickup. The sugar‑free latte was impressive, definitely an 8/10. It was delicious with just a slight aftertaste, which is pretty common for sugar‑free drinks. I've had a few from other spots without that aftertaste, but overall this one was still very enjoyable. My husband ordered his usual hot drip coffee, which we always do when trying new locations so we can compare both iced and hot options. We're still searching for a place that truly satisfies his drip‑coffee cravings this one wasn't quite the winner for him. The staff was friendly, and the café has a good amount of seating, though most tables were taken during our visit. Very quiet and pleasant. Parking was also completely full, so be prepared for a busy lot if you stop by during peak hours.
