My family (and very close family friends) love 1040 Coffee! We discovered them a few weeks back because of their Monday scooter club for kiddos. I love their campfire latte (decaf) that comes with a nice toasty, homemade marshmallow on top. The butterscotch latte is also good, and my partner likes their espresso tonics. I got here just 15 minutes after opening and there was only one person ahead of me. The young lady that attended me was very warm and welcoming. Her customer service was genuine. I had my two year old daughter with me and she offered us a coloring book and markers (which just so happens to be her current hobby). I ordered the Winnie the Pooh latte. The inside is very neat and clean. The vibe is very serene. I received my drink quickly and we sat down to color Spiderman lol. There was at least four more people that came in afterwards so I'd say they have pretty good loyal customers. The drink was fantastic. You can taste the honey but it isn't overwhelmingly sweet, which I really liked. The presentation is so cute. I think I chugged my drink because it was literally that good. Went on a Saturday morning, and the cafe was fairly busy. However, with the rush, the workers were so kind and accommodating to all the customers. The interior was not the biggest but really quiet and a cute cafe, with even an outdoor seating area. Drinks: Espresso Tonic was so good 5/5!! Iced Americano was solid 4/5! One thing I love about this cafe is that the proceeds go towards a purpose. Funding missionary work in the 1040 window. Even with donating proceeds, the prices are very on par and even lower than cafes in the area. Would definitely come again to try other drinks and would highly recommend! read more

I visited on a weekday and it was pretty quiet. The staff were really friendly. I ordered the strawberry field (matcha with strawberry cold foam). Unfortunately, the drink was disappointing - the foam was sweet, but the drink itself didn't taste like matcha at all. I was a bit confused getting here because of the barrier blocking the neighborhood and the street, but with enough U-turns, I eventually made it :D The inside is subtly festive, with one large table that is perfect for working (it has a power strip!).
