No need to crack the code, Coffee Code is your code for great tasting coffee! Located in the strip of small businesses across the parking lot of Knott's Berry Farm, with a small parking lot, this coffee house is worth the try. I loved the cleanliness and simplistic design of this place, no need for dark corners, it was bright and welcoming. I tried their signature iced banana latte with whole milk and was impressed by the big espresso ice cubes. It was a clean cup of coffee, smooth and light, and no graininess in the cup. The coffee barista stated that they roast their own coffee. Though she seemed to be the only employee at the time on a Saturday afternoon, it was a calm atmosphere that wasn't noisy and a great cafe to chill and unwind. So if you are in the city of Buena Park and want to try coffee with an innovative touch of coffee ice cubes, then go to Coffee Code and enjoy!

Ordered chestnut latte -it says your choice of milk. I chose oat milk. .80 cents extra ! EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS YOUR CHOICE....cup is 60% full of ice. What a rip off. OVERPRICED and manager didn't care about ambiguous drink description. $

Trying Coffee Code in Buena Park today. Loving that the menu is different from my regular CC in Norwalk.

I've come here twice this month and both times were great. Happy with my selections and service. The location is always clean and inviting. So far I've tried the hazelnut latte, caramel latte, yuzu tonic, and the chocolate muffin. Everything was on point or better than I expected. On both occasions the staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming back soon to try more drinks and treats.

The food and drinks are spectacular. Wr moved to Arizona and miss this specific place from our recent move. Coffee code is not a "hidden gem" ; it's a "hidden diamond." We love coming here and the waffles are amazing the fruit topping are always fresh, and their coffee is delicious. Strongly recommended!

I remember coming here around 2012 when they had the restaurant looking more like a lounge area with a more intimate atmosphere. Now it's more of a minimalist grab and go cafe, same superior quality on coffee. And delicious bites for pastries if you want something quick and easy. No long wait time.

Mid ahh coffee Just stopped to support a small business and the lady at the register wasn't giving good customer service. Wasn't greeted even tho we said hi. It was our first time here and we asked what was popular but she didn't answer. So there was an awkward silence. Then we ordered our drinks, took them to go and they were not good. My horchata latte was pretty bland to be honest. Overall 1/10 not coming back.

I was pretty skeptical when I heard about strawberry latte because usually use syrup, but I saw how they made it and they have like a premade strawberry jam and it works perfectly with my latte. Located in north part of Buena Park it's a very cute café and I can't wait to come back. Staff are friendly and service is fast. There are plenty of seats for you to study and just chill.

iced peanut butter cream top latte with an extra shot inside & shot on the side! :)

Plenty of parking, quick and friendly service, nice ambiance with ample seating- highly recommend the iced peanut butter cream top latte (with an extra shot or two if you're wanting a caffeine boost). The flavor is authentic not synthetic peanut butter- and LOVE that it is not sickly sweet like a lot of coffee shops make their flavored drinks. Would definitely return!

My partner and I stop by on early mornings before work and they're always a great start to the day. Our go to orders are typically a Spanish Latte and a Yuzu Espresso Tonic. The drinks are always good and the baristas are very welcoming. There's a nice ambiance inside for getting work done or having casual conversations-it is never too loud when we come in. Would highly recommend if you're planning a Knott's Berry Farm trip, especially because it's right across the street!

Not seen: chocolate croissant and strawberry cream cheese danish. The service was great and so was the ambiance. The interior is very roomy and a nice place to study. The food and drinks were underwhelming. They're not terrible, but I definitely wouldn't order the coffee again. I'd probably try a different latte if given the chance. The waffles were good texture and the strawberries were sweet. The other pastries were ok. Even when warmed up they didn't really stand out. I'd be ok with returning, but expectations will remain average.

Didn't expect this bonus on our Spaniard latte

Ambiance: 5/5 Coffee: 4.9/5 Services 20/5 4 of us came and left EXTREMELY happy! Okay fine mostly me because I'm the one with most picky critique to be frank! From the cashier (pretty young lady) and 2 barista/dudes and since I have been binging finally on K drama I swear one of them (you need to find out for yourself) could be a twins of Kim Min-Kyu with glasses. I however didn't wear my glasses but I'm not mad about that. I think my first time visited this location was during 2010. Definitely more future trips back even though there are 20-+ coffee shops nearby. Thank you to the whole group for indulging me with my seahorse latte request and then some and simply brought so much joy to this aging heart of mine and my family's. Until next time! PTV

I ordered my drink with 25% ice, expecting the rest of the cup to be filled with the actual drink. Instead, the drink itself was short by about the same amount -- the cup wasn't even filled to the top. If I'm requesting less ice, I shouldn't be getting less drink too. It felt like 25% of the drink was missing along with the ice, which defeats the purpose of customizing the ice level. To make it worse, I had placed a group order because I convinced my colleagues that this place was worth trying. I was honestly embarrassed passing the drinks out because several of them were underfilled the same way. Needless to say, we won't be return customers. I hope this gets addressed for future guests.

hello! first time here tons of parking in the lot small coffee spot, can get packed, full of students can get a little bit busy ordered the caramel latte with 4 expresso shots, which does the job the ice cubes were made out of coffee, which was awesome, cool concept great drink, and keeps you awake thank you

When I bit into them, I could actually taste and feel the fibrous banana strings, which made the drink less enjoyable. The banana syrup could be improved by using fully ripe bananas and taking the extra time to remove the fibrous strings before making the syrup. While it does require more preparation, it would make a noticeable difference. Ripe bananas are naturally sweeter, and removing the strings would eliminate much of the bitterness while creating a smoother, creamier syrup and cold foam. I also ordered the regular Matcha Latte, and personally, I found it more enjoyable than the Banana Matcha. That said, my all-time favorite drink here is still the Butter Honey Latte. It's incredibly creamy, rich, and full of flavor. I highly recommend giving that one a try!

If you ever signed up for their rewards program before downloading the app, they import your points from your phone number account :). My only mild complaint is that the timed order- for-later request did not seem to make too big a difference, as my drink was probably ready 25 minutes early. Better early than late, though! Staff were friendly and informative as always. Shop had a few customers seated inside and outside, so there was plenty of room to study or sit a while. Yet recently I've been coming and truly haven't been enjoying it the same. I used to come and study or work as I enjoyed their drinks and baked goods. The environment is usually buzzing with more people working or studying or groups of people talking. Their pastries are always good and yummy which is a BIG hit. Yet I am a big coffee person, the quality of the coffees and drinks have gone down hill a lot. I would always order the Campfire latte or the Smoking Spaniard latte (when it still had cardamom in it) and would LOVE it. But now when I order drinks, most of them aren't very good or are missing flavors. The Smoking Spaniard is still yummy yet it used to be sooo much better back in the day, now it taste more like a regular spanish latte. I always see the new seasonal drinks and menu and get so excited to try them just incase I find a new favorite. Most of them have been a miss sadly :( The fruit lattes and drinks from their seasonal menu usually has actual chunks of fruit in it which makes it hard to drink and you have to chew while drinking a latte ;( not my fave. I went in yesterday to try their summer '26 seasonal drinks which is Yakult! I was sooo excited. A blueberry Yakult matcha latte! yummy! I got there, got a new earl grey lemon loaf from the bakery, got my blueberry Yakult matcha latte and sat down to try. Sadly, it didn't hit... the blueberries are still super chunky so I had to use 2 different straws because my first one got stuck with blueberries in it. The Yakult foam was really good but the blueberries weren't :( I HIGHLY recommend when making fruit syrups for coffee, boil down the fruit and blend it or strain out the big pieces. I sadly have stopped really coming to Smoking Tiger so often because I haven't been impressed and other coffee shops have been popping up that has better quality now :( Smoking Tiger has been focusing more on quantity of stores rather than quality of their food and drinks.

On top of that, they had already run out of matcha and the menu was extremely limited, which was disappointing considering that's one of the main draws of a place like this. Overall, poor communication and lack of transparency really ruined the experience. I understand delays happen, but being upfront and managing expectations would have made a huge difference.
