I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly frustrating. We were told the wait for our soufflé pancakes would be around 20 minutes, which seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, that turned into over an hour--with no updates from staff during that time. What made it worse was that we only found out after we had already paid that the kitchen was backed up. That's something customers deserve to know upfront so they can decide whether they're willing to wait. We were also there with a baby who needed to go down for a nap, which made the long, unexpected delay even more difficult. On top of that, they had already run out of matcha and the menu was extremely limited, which was disappointing considering that's one of the main draws of a place like this. Overall, poor communication and lack of transparency really ruined the experience. I understand delays happen, but being upfront and managing expectations would have made a huge difference. Extremely disappointed. We went to this place a long time ago when they first opened and remembered them having a more extensive menu and it being far better. Well i went on 12/31/25 and they were open! It truly is so beautiful in here. My friend and i went and got the make your own souffle which comes with 2 fluffy pancakes. I wanted matcha but they were out which was a bit confusing since it was only like 12:30pm. I got custard instead with strawberries. My friend got the strawberry cream. Both were incredible!! It has that library type vibe decor and feels like a nice study spot because it's not too crowded nor loud. For breakfast, we ordered the fruit soufflé pancake and an avocado toast. I really enjoyed devouring the pancake because it was fluffy and the sweetness was not overpowering. This dish comes with strawberries, blueberries, and banana, so each bite of the pancake with whatever fruit creates a unique flavor. It may look basic at first, but the simplicity itself makes it grand. 5/5. As for the avocado toast, that was at most a 2/5. It was dry and the avocado looked old. The color was off too. This place is in a complex and it is on the first floor. The afternoon tea set is $37 per person. It comes with the following for each person: - Cucumber sandwich - Egg sandwich - some type of muffin with a raspberry or strawberry filling - plain scone with a cup of cream and preserve, and some fresh strawberries on the side - 3 types of mousses (a blackberry cheesecake one, a tiramisu, and one that had 3 layers of fruit) - a red velvet whoopie pie - chocolate ganache The tea I got was raspberry and rosehip. The cream cheese or whatever spread they put on the sandwiches tasted kind of sweet too. It was honestly a let down. We ordered the afternoon tea, you get to choose two different tea leaves (English breakfast black tea and some kind of ginger tea). And it comes with a tower of sandwiches and desserts. Roughly 80$ for two people. The staff gave us a number so we can sit down and wait, we got our teas first and cute cups with plates. Sugar and cream and stirrers are on the front near the register. We did have to wait a while for the tower of food to arrive. It was cute and adorable, looks better and mostly great for a photo than a meal but definitely an array of indulgent items. It came with 2 cucumber sandwiches, 2 egg salad sandwiches, 2 scones with jam and cream (cream was amazing), 2 macaroons, 2 mini muffins, a cup of fruit cream and a cup of chocolate cream. Everything was very decadent, it's a lot of sugar and carbs but also very enjoyable and fun! As a treat I'd definitely think it's nice once in a while, but it's also a good thing to take your time so best not as a quick snack. There was only one unisex Restroom inside the cafe near the back. If you're looking for an aesthetic experience, this is a place I'd recommend to check out. As soon as you walk in you're hit with an artsy vibe--I was reminded a bit of Harry Potter/Wizarding World--but not exactly so it's open to your own interpretation. The Huz wanted a whole Ube Cheesecake (even before trying it because he had faith it was gonna be good--it's also close to $30 at the time of our visit) but we were told that it wasn't available. I don't know if we were feeling moody this day, but it rubbed us the wrong way that it was on the menu but not available. What was available was a slice ($7.00 at the time of our visit), so with a little confusion (like, if you have slices, why don't you have a whole one?) we got one to try. When we received the slice, we were taken aback at how small it was. I think we were expecting a size closer to the ones offered at the famous cheesecake franchise. The cheesecake was good, creamy and all that. We also got an Ube Latte and Strawberry Matcha Latte--both beautifully presented. The taste, pretty good. Overall, we had a good experience. Plain Soufflé Pancake: I will return for this. This was most enjoyed for me eating tiny bites. The only thing I feel could be improved is if the cream is consistently cold throughout eating the dish. The coolness of the cream really complements the subtle warmth of the pancake. Their may be a time component too to be as unbiased as possible so make sure to not allow the cream to sit for too long or it may absorb the warmth of the soufflé. If you want to maximize how coldness of the cream, MAYBE get the cream on the side. Do not shy away from the cream though. It elevates the dish. Met up with a friend for a Saturday morning breakfast. This place had been popping up in a few foodie threads. This place is in a very huge shopping center that from the street doesn't really look like much but once inside the center it has a ton of great shopping and food places including this gem. First the decor is so cute, from the book nook to the velvet chairs and hanging lights. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the menu was pretty easy to navigate. The pancakes were so good! No syrup needed, so fluffy and light and the amazing whipped cream and fruit were the perfect sweetness. Vietnamese coffee was good too. Their drinks are pretty good! Most people get the ube lattes and such, which are a good go-to drink to go for if you don't know what to get. Also had their blood orange cocktail which is a really nice sweet drink! Came here for a fun birthday breakfast as I always wanted to try this style of pancakes! However my hopes were absolutely crushed. Me and my sister came here yesterday at about 11AM and we were the only people there this entire visit. We place our order and got 3 macarons and then ordered our two orders of pancakes. The interior was cute and the young girl greeted us and was nice. The real issue started when me and my sister were sitting there for 30 minutes with zero communication. We watched the girl take her break and some other worker started taking out a bunch of trash. That was about 10-15 minutes in. Me and my sister just assumed they were making them fresh from scratch? Then it finally hits 30 minutes and the girl comes up to us and says their machine is being weird and has been and that it will be another 10 minutes OR MORE! Me and my sister had birthday plans for me and it was already 12PM!! We were very disappointed and ended up having to ask for a refund and head out. They refunded the entire amount at least and were very apologetic. Seems like the place has potential but they need to figure out what they are doing back there! There's better places in The Source and we got food from another place in 5 minutes.
