I love this place!! The owner she is super sweet and runs the shop alone and I really appreciate and respect her for it! Her bingsoo I the softest most flavorful one I've ever had. It wasn't too sweet the amount of tart strawberry was perfect. The taiyaki was fresh and nearly burned me going down. If you need a nice cold treat this is hard to beat, the only thing is, the shop is in the food court within the super market so it's easy to miss it and it shares seating with the other restaurants. Really a hidden gem and would really recommend checking it out. read more

What a hidden gem! I accidentally stumbled upon this little dessert shop tucked inside the Korean market, and I'm so glad I did. It has a very homemade feel, and everything tasted like it was made with care. The shaved ice was the star of the visit. Unlike the crunchy, icy shaved ice you find at many places, this one was incredibly smooth, creamy, and milky--it practically melted in your mouth. The texture alone makes it worth coming back for. If you're already shopping at the market, definitely take a few extra minutes to stop by for dessert. It's refreshing, satisfying, and one of those hidden spots you almost don't want to tell anyone about. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm craving a soft, creamy shaved ice. I found this via Yelp! This was located inside a Korean supermarket. The Bingsoo was indeed very good: the best Korean Bingsoo we have tasted so far. Not too sweet yet the Mango Bingsoo was not sour at all. The Black Sesame Bingsoo was not overpowering with sweetness. Got two regular sizes and just about the correct size. Will be coming again. Parking was easy to find. read more

Came here because I was in Buena Park looking for good bingsoo. It's located in a supermarket food court, which is OK but they get really crowded and busy. I think this place used to be a different shaved ice restaurant but they re-branded and change the name. It's pretty good. You can order a regular or a large size I can get a little loud and crowded, but I guess that's how you know that it has good bingsoo. read more

Amazing quality ! The shaved ice was nothing like I've ever had before it was so fluffy almost like string cheese texture. The topping were plentiful. This is quite an unassuming place as it's located inside a grocery store. Given that, it also closes quite early too (7pm daily). The bingsoo here is super delicious!! We ordered the mango bingsoo and the mangoes were very sweet and ripe and the snow was incredibly soft and fluffy. If you're craving Korean style shaved ice, this is a decent spot to go to. It's located inside a large grocery store, in a corner next to a Chinese food spot. The prices are high ($15-18), but portions are large and service is friendly. They charge for all credit card transactions. We came from Santa Barbara to come to hannam chain, but we also really enjoy getting bingsoo here. Service was top notch the lady who helped us was so kind. My friend and I tried the mango Bingsoo and strawberry and cream cheese taiyaki with a Taro milk tea. Both were so delicious and the taiyaki was perfectly balanced of filling to batter. One of my favorite spots!~ In a nice cozy spot in Hannam Super Market. I've tried almost their entire menu at this point I loved everything~ The service here is very friendly. They also remember your preferences and make sure you are satisfied with your order. They now sell Dubai chocolate cookies. It's so yummy. It has a nice powdery marshmallow cover and crispy Dubai Chocolate insides~ I also like the fact they are mildly sweet. SO good! The ube and chocolate flavors were delicious. I liked the chocolate one slightly more but I would get both again. The snow is super soft and they did not scrimp on the toppings/ sauce add-ons. We shared 2 regulars amongst myself, my mom, a 4 yr old and a 3 year old. I recently tried a pop-up serving this same thing but they hardly put enough toppings and sauce so I felt like I was just eating ice, but this place is not like that at all. They were generous with the add ons. I also tried the Nutella "fish" and it was very yummy. So happy to have found this place inside the Korean market! read more

BingSoo House in La Palma is a hidden gem located in a small food court at the Super1Mart supermarket. The Strawberry BingSoo is delicious as their shaved snow is very milky and it mixes well with their strawberry sauce and condensed milk. It's definitely shareable and I recommend eating your portion in your own bowl so that you can mix your portion well. I might upgrade my rating with future visits. I definitely will be coming back on a hot day and I think that the portion size is great. read more

This bingsoo spot is located in the supermarket on the left side and has a decent amount of seating available. Parking is easily found in the plaza. The staff was friendly and the area wasn't very busy at all. We decided to order the mango bingsoo and got a size L which was pretty large for 2 people. The bingsoo wasn't the type of bingsoo that I like since it was more icy and not as creamy as I like. The mango was also underripe and wasn't super sweet so it made it less tasty. read more

Tried their bingsoo multiple times and it hits every single time. I'm a fan of their injelomi bingsoo and mango bingsoo. The mango bingsoo is especially refreshing. The shaved ice is soft and pillowy with a satisfying milky flavor. Condensed milk was not skimped either. I used to really like their taiyaki but feels like they changed something in it? Maybe it's a different red beans recipe or brand they are using. It's still decent but not what I remember it use to tasting before. read more

One of my favorite bingsoo places! I've tried a few different flavors here, but the mango is my favorite. Mango bingsoo 9.5/10: The shaved milk ice is super soft and fluffy, rather than icy like some bingsoo shops. There is a great amount of mango and syrup, but sometimes the mango is underripe and I wish the mango was still cubed instead of sliced. The portions are also very large; the small size is easily shareable between 2-3 people. read more

The taiyaki dough isn't as chewy as other places. We tried the blueberry cream cheese and the sausage and cheese taiyaki. They were okay and got the job done. The shaved ice was perfection, the amount of mangos and syrup used over the bowl of ice was perfect. The shave ice was a milk flavor and was so creamy with mangos. There was only 1 lady working and she works really hard to on taking orders and also preparing the orders herself. Major props! It is located inside the Asian supermarket, which has tons of parking available. Worth visiting and will come back soon to try other flavors of shaved ice! read more

Very Disappointing Experience -- Poor Customer Service…read more A friend of mine came to visit from out of state, and since she had been looking forward to having Korean patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans) while visiting the U.S., we decided to go to Sulbing. We ordered patbingsu, bungeoppang (Korean fish-shaped pastry), and an iced café latte. All three items were placed together on one tray. Before eating, I took a picture to post on Instagram. Then, when I picked up the iced latte to take a sip, the lid came off because it had not been properly secured, and the entire drink spilled all over my clothes. I immediately told the staff that the lid had not been properly closed. Instead of apologizing or offering any help, the employees insisted that they had definitely closed it properly and that they had heard the lid "click." They basically said it was not their fault. What was even more upsetting was that they then walked into the kitchen and left us without offering any assistance at all. We asked for something to clean up the mess, but they told us that the tissues were outside and that it was self-service. They simply handed me a mop and expected me to clean everything myself. I was honestly shocked by the lack of basic courtesy and customer service. I went to the restroom and tried to clean my clothes with water as best I could. When I came back out, I saw the two employees inside the kitchen laughing and chatting together. At that point, I was extremely upset. Despite everything, I stayed because my friend had traveled a long way and had really wanted to try the patbingsu and bungeoppang. We tried to enjoy our food, but the whole experience left a very unpleasant impression. Later, when I looked again at the latte photo I had taken for Instagram before the spill, I could clearly see that the lid was not properly sealed. I don't usually write negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt I needed to share it. Mistakes can happen, and I would have understood if the staff had simply apologized and tried to help. What was most upsetting was the attitude afterward -- no apology, no assistance, and no basic courtesy. I will not be returning to this location.

Now, from my experience, it wasn't bad and I understand what they are doing. It's a healthy ice cream that isn't creamy and it's not something I would eat but I get the concept. It's for healthy eaters wanting to fill a craving, which isn't for everyone and I think she was being a little emotional about wanting her ice cream. The pudding is great, the coffee jelly is great, and the boba texture is exactly how I like it. I almost never get boba on back-to-back days, but we've done it for TP Tea because it's that good. The staff is always chill, drinks come out fast, and everything has been consistently solid. Definitely one of those places where it's hard to go wrong no matter what you order.

I didn't know what to order and so I ordered a Dacquiose with cream and strawberry jam since I've never had one before. The owner described it as a mix of a macaron and cream puff. It was an accurate description. Definitely great texture. Just a little too much cream for my taste due to the sweetness. It was like a butter like cream, and it was sweet. I also got their chocolate chip cookie which was thick. It tasted very similar to a scone and not really like a buttery, crunchy/chewy texture of chocolate chip cookie that I like. A bit bummed that neither dessert wasn't something I liked. Also they don't have any drinks, which is also a bummer because milk or coffee would have gone great with the desserts. I'll probably come back and try something different, but for now either of what I tried really hit. However it's still worthy checking it out, because it might not have been my kind of taste of baked good, but could be for someone else.

For soft serve ice cream, the shop offers three different levels of matcha. Level 1 = "I am new to matcha or I like matcha" with 85 mg of caffeine. Level 2 = "I LOVE matcha" with 170 mg of caffeine. Level 3 = "I am OBSESSED with matcha" with 255 mg of caffeine. The shop also offers a parfait with 8 different items included and a tea float. *** Matcha Vanilla Oat Latte (Hot, Regular Sweet - $7.95): I liked the drink a lot better than I had expected as the drink had a creamy aftertaste while still being able to taste the matcha. *** This is one of those matcha shops I would love to revisit and explore other options like matcha soft-serve ice cream.

I didn't know this place was here and now I love it…read more This is a really cute matcha shop, the staff is incredibly kind and you can really tell they enjoy their jobs there. I started off with the parfait and it was incredibly delightful!! Each filling was sweet and put a smile on my face. Then the match was incredibly smooth and full of real matcha flavor. Onto the main show I got the ceremonial matcha level 3... they warm it's full of matcha bold flavors and caffeine they weren't kidding. One bite and I felt turbo charged!!! I highly recommend this shop it's probably the best matcha in the area, the closest place I can think of is Torrance.
