My friend and I really wanted some bingsoo from somewhere new after dinner. We saw the good reviews and decided to try it out. The order takers were very accommodating and patient with us. We were able to swap some ingredients out without a huge upcharge. The order came out pretty quickly. The Jesse's Breakfast was too sweet for us to eat. The crunchy granola ended up tasting like unpleasant shards of tough grains to chew or swallow. The accompanying madeleine was also too sweet and hard. It nearly broke the utensils. We couldn't finish the pile of concoction because it was too sweet from the condensed milk. I wouldn't mind returning again in the future but definitely want to order something else. Parking is free and Amex/Apple pay accepted.
Very good & refreshing Bing Su here. Different types of desserts are offered here. We shared the Pat Bing Su which was served on a big plate with the shave ice topped with sweet red bean & bean powder, and lots of fresh fruit including banana, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. Top off the dessert with some condensed milk for the finishing touch. Dessert was so good that we gobbled it up quickly. Welcoming space and good service.
Recently found out about this spot. My new fave! My fave is their cookies and cream Frappuccino! So yum! Also tried their cheesecake and taiyaki with Nutella which were so good!
We visited Dzert in Buena Park and had a pleasant experience, though it didn't quite cross the threshold into being truly memorable. I decided to try their version of shaved ice and found the texture and flavor to be quite good, though I was a bit surprised to find that all toppings come at an additional cost, which differs from many other shaved ice spots I've frequented. I appreciated that they offer multiple sizes, and I opted for the "mini," which turned out to be more than enough for 2 people. To go along with the treat, we ordered an iced coffee, but I found it to be just decent and not necessarily something I would go out of my way to rave about. While I enjoyed the atmosphere and the quality of the shaved ice itself, the extra charges for toppings and the standard coffee made this a solid 4-star visit for me rather than a 5-star one.
We ordered two small shaved ices, one with mango flavor and the other with passion fruit. We got berries and mochis as our additional topping. The shaved ice was nice and refreshing! It wasn't too sweet and the flavors blended well together. We also got the Dubai chocolate cookie and it was mediocre. I wouldn't recommend ordering it. It doesn't taste like the ones from Korea. Can't really taste the pistachio flavor in the pistachio cream. Service was excellent! The cashier was patient and helpful while we were ordering. We received our orders within 5 minutes of ordering. There is some seating inside and parking is available in a shared lot with other businesses. The lot can get pretty packed. There are better shaved ice places imo, but it's a nice spot if you want something quick and easy.
I got the mint with M&Ms. It was very green but didn't stain your teeth or tongue. The flavor was subtle but very good on a hot day. I love the vegan flavors being that I'm lactose intolerant. The cup sizes are a lot bigger than I thought but worth it. The service is fast and there is a decent amount of parking. Would go back
This is a very good place for Korean patbingsu and other desserts with ice. We had the #9 which seems like the traditional Korean version you'd normally get. It was good which plenty of fruit and condensed milk (key to have this making it taste more like ice cream). I thought it was a bit light on the actual patbingsu (the sweet red bean). Our friends had the #11 nutty which tastes like coffee. Pretty good! The waffle bowl looked great as well, but I didn't taste it. Definitely recommend.

I had the mango snow which I thought was delicious but slightly on the sweet side. After adding boba and condensed milk, the price did add it up but it satisfied my craving. Only the plate size has an option for two flavors but I wish that the other sizes allowed you to mix flavors too. The specialities seem like a good deal because of the size and number of toppings. Next time I'll try one of them!

Great local, late-night desert place! Dzert shares a parking lot with several casual sit-down restaurants so parking can be sparse. For the store itself, it's on the smaller end but cozy! Perfect place to sit and chat with friends. They offer tea, coffee, an assortment of deserts, and yummy bingsoo combinations. They also put their iced drinks in these cans which I thought was fun! We ordered the brown sugar milk tea and the Thai iced tea. The Thai iced tea was INSANE, probably one of the best I've had ever. Super floral, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The cashier was also super kind and helpful as it was our first time. Can't wait to come back and try their bingsoo or hot chocolate

We dropped by Dzert since we were in the area watching Medieval Times .The cafe is a quiet and peaceful little dessert cafe. I forgot the names of all our orders but the shaved ice melted like ice cream. The chunks of mangoes were sweet and the condensed milk added richness. They have plenty of mix-ins you can add to each bingsoo. They come in four sizes - the small can easily feed 1-2 people, and the large comes in a little black pan and can easily serve 3-4. The staff is friendly and there's a decent amount of seating. I recommend the mango bingsoo. It's layers of milky, fluffy shaved ice sandwiched between a slightly tart, slightly sweet mango purée.
Visited here for a second time. This time around I ordered peanut butter flavor of the snow ice topped with mochi, almonds and chocolate shavings. I enjoyed the peanut butter flavor, it wasn't too sweet and the peanut butter flavor was definitely there and went well with my choice of toppings. Service was good and attentive, definitely another good experience from Dzert!
Myself and my family have been to Dzert twice this week and drove around 15-20min to have it. We enjoy the consistency of the flavored "snow" they serve. It doesn't disappoint, especially when you add toppings like condensed milk and boba. We usually enjoy their smallest size, since it's filled to the top. Our favorite flavors are Thai Tea, watermelon, and horchata. We tried the ice cream on top but was a little too sweet for us but could be a nice edition for anyone with a sweet tooth. The staff is always friendly and keeps the seating area clean. read more
I wanted to try somewhere new and found this place. We figured the kids would like it too since they had snow ice. The coffee was okay, they put it in their own cans which is cool. The customer service is pretty rough, they really made us feel uncomfortable with the kids. It was so bad neither of my kids wanted to get anything which is shocking because they both love snowcones. We opted to grab our stuff to go. The interior is pretty small, we didn't get the usual coffee house vibe where you can sit and mingle and just chill for a bit. I landed on 3 stars because maybe it was an off day for the people working. read more

Went here for dessert and will definitely be back! We ordered the mini s'mores and it was anything but mini. The portion size was perfect. The marshmallow was roasted perfectly, giving it that classic campfire s'mores flavor. The addition of mini chocolate chips on top was the perfect finishing touch that made it extra delicious. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend! read more

Inside is small and simple. There's a few tables and chairs if you want to eat in. Parking is a bit difficult because there's a lot of stores in this plaza. We ordered the plate snow with 2 flavors. You pay per topping and drizzle at 65cents each. Cost wasn't too bad for 2 toppings and 1 drizzle. I love how they bottle their drinks. They put it in cans so it's completely sealed until you drink it. The snow was pretty good. Really great alternative to shaved ice because it's so light and fluffy. It was super sweet though since the ice is flavored so I recommend going easy on the drizzles. Service was a 10/10. Dzert is such a fun late-night spot when you're craving something sweet. We tried the chocolate ice cream loaded with toppings and a raspberry ice cream with soft whipped cream--both were rich, fresh, and super satisfying. The staff were kind and really helpful in guiding us through the options, which made the whole experience even better. My husband and I were looking for a place to get something sweet after showing some properties to a client. Boy we feel like we found a diamond in Dzert! Their snow was so delicious and soft. Flavors are pronounced and toppings were fresh. Taiyaki was heavenly as well. Can't wait to come back and try more items. Inside is very clean too. Staff is nice and friendly. 10/10!! read more

It got pretty full when my family and I went, but the workers were so kind and patient still! We got a split snow of Thai tea and green tea. When they were making it though I think our order jammed up their snow machine so I felt bad because they looked stressed, but they were apologetic about the wait. The Thai tea flavor was pretty strong, so by the end that's all I tasted, so I recommend to get a flavor that's light, like the green tea. Green tea flavor was great though! As someone that doesn't like strong flavors it didn't over power, so it balanced out the Thai tea in a way. The mochi and fruity pebbles were good with it, I just didn't really care for the almonds since it was a lot. read more

I am giving a 3 because I think the shave ice wasn't anything special? I was looking for a cafe that opens until late in the area, and this place was open until 11pm. We paid close to about $18 (tax included) for the shave ice--green tea and Thai tea flavor. It wasn't anything special. But I just thought paying for almost $20 for dessert that is for 2 people was just too much. You can get a proper noodle dish or meal for one person. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. I would just get a tea or a drink rather than overpriced shave ice. read more

The bingsu was delicious and hit the spot on a hot day. However, I couldn't help but feel that the price was a bit too high for what I received. The portion was smaller than expected. Also, the staff seemed somewhat indifferent, which made the service feel less welcoming than I had hoped. read more

Lots of options for desserts teas/coffee. Took a while to be helped there was no staff at the register, worth the wait. A lot of indoor seating great spot to snack and catch up with friends/family. Got the affogato and it was delicious highly recommend it. read more

The snow was so tasty! The best I have ever had! The service was amazing and the owner was so sweet! The ambiance was chill and the space was very clean and organized. We got the lychee and green apple snow and it was so flavorful! The flavors they have are so unique and fun! We also got the blueberry matcha was delicious and ceremonial grade with fresh blueberry puree. The taiyaki was so perfect in texture and we got custard and nutella. The desert tea was also very refreshing and I definitely recommend if you like a strong tea flavor and something that's not too sweet! read more
