Been here twice so far and I'm loving their drinks. They're one of the places open a bit later and it always seems packed with a bunch of high schoolers and/or young adults just hanging outside or studying inside. Ambiance/Service (4/5): Tastefully decorated, it's got Asian boho meets MC modern feel to it. It's brightly lit inside with soft white lamps and decent seating for larger and smaller groups. Layout is surprisingly done in a way where it doesn't feel overly cramped even if most seats are filled out. Service is okay. You order at a kiosk and they call your name when the order is up. Not too much interaction or sight of the workers outside of them dropping off the drinks and/or calling out names. Drinks (4/5): Their drinks are pretty good and scratch the itch for some decent sweet treat. I've had their strawberry snow and tropical snow (strawberry/lychee) on separate occasions with boba. Yes, the drinks are a bit pricier than other places, but the ingredients taste pretty fresh and not overly sweet or artificial. The boba is admittedly not my favorite; it comes out a little too soft and slightly gummy without the nice bounce texture, but the coldness of my drinks make it slightly more pleasant after it cools and hardens a bit. 9-1-2026 This is my first time at a Summerfield, and it's not crowded inside at all. It's actually spacier than I thought it would be. There is a kiosk, but for some reason, the payment processing loading screen wouldn't go away. So, they printed me a receipt. I guess the order went through because it wasn't looking like it did. Anyway, I ordered the passionfruit tea, and the basil seeds are a bonus. Because it's cheaper than other places, I thought the cup might be smaller. It's a standard size, and the packaging is so cute! I like the foil lid. Some minor things though. I think they have some fake plants indoors, and it would be neat if they were real. It is really cool in temperature inside though. And yes, the sofa is very comfy, but the other seats aren't. Still, I'd recommend this place for boba lovers! read more

This is such a nicely decorated little cafe tucked away in Fullerton near the Home Depot plaza (Lambert & Harbor). I've driven by many times but never actually stopped in, so I was really surprised by how nice and welcoming it felt inside. I only swung by to pick up an order I placed through Toast, but I'm glad I finally tried it. The Earl Grey milk tea was pretty good, although the boba was a little too soft for my preference--I like mine a bit chewier. I also tried the croffle. The texture was actually more like a Chinese-style pancake than a waffle, and it was a little oily for me. Overall, though, it's a cute and inviting spot, and I'd be open to coming back to try some of their other drinks and food. read more

I have been going to other two locations of Summerfield tea bar. I gotta say this location is the most spacious one. Their food quality is consistent among all location. The La Habra location, service is super fast, my drink was ready within 5 minutes. I ordered Osmanthus Milk Tea , the drink already came with Boba and Crystal boba, it might be sweet so make sure to customized to 50% if you dont like too sweet. The popcorn chicken was a lot. Good portion, however Im not too impressed with this dish, no basil leaves the seasoning is ok. I recommend the fried tofu here. Tip: it definitely gets super busy at around 11am moving forward, if you decided to stuy here, bring your noice cancellation headphone! Overall, a decent place to hang out. Stopped by on the way to La Mirada Theater. Nice looking place with a LOT of seating. I imagine that a lot of people hang out here. There's plenty of table space for working, playing games, etc. You can order at a kiosk or at the counter. The guy there was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our order. Tried the wintermelon milk tea with honey boba and grass jelly. Got it at 75% sweet and it was still sweet enough. Next time I would try it at 50%. The honey boba is good and added sweetness, so maybe that's part of it. They put a large piece of grass jelly instead of smaller pieces so you kind of have to stab it with your straw to get it. Tastes good, though, and reasonably priced. There are also food options. If I was a local, I'd come back. read more

The popcorn chicken was delicious, very crispy with spice on the side. Service 4.5/5: Our items came out very quickly. The only issue was that it became clear the person who prepared our popcorn chicken did so a little too quickly with chicken spilling out into the bag and cup below because they hadn't flattened out the liner inside the popcorn chicken cup. Price $$: Each drink was about $8.50 and $9.00 for the popcorn chicken. I requested it 75% sweetness and it was perfect. ~ Lunaria Milk Tea Boba was ok. It had this after taste wasn't a fav of mine. Got it for my husband and he wasn't a fan. He's not the picky type too. ~ Popcorn Chicken was really good. Asked for it medium spicy & it had the perfect kick to it. Normal spicy was perfect for me and the Green Tea latte with added boba was so good. Not too sweet, great flavor. The strawberry milk was a little too chunky for my daughter but she's a creature of habit and isn't used to fruit pieces in her milk. It was almost smoothie-like. Placed an order for a Taro Snow ($7) without the crème brûlée and a Jasmine Latte ($6). I do like that the drinks automatically come with toppings that you can switch out for free - I opted for grass jelly instead of the crystal & honey boba with the Jasmine Latte. The jasmine flavor was prominent and floral - the 75% sweet was perfect. Disappointed with the taro though since it was artificial powder and not fresh taro, not something I would order again. I've hit up the Garden Grove location a lot, but since La Habra's closer, I've stopped here for the first time. There wasn't anyone at the counter to greet us, we came around 10 PM; but the place runs on a self-service system, with card and tap-to-pay machines making it easy to order. Ordered the Strawberry Tornado with no Creme Brulee. First time having it as I usually order the Aloha (I think that's what it's still called). Refreshing and sweet, but not overly sweet; no complaints. They serve food here too. I didn't get anything this time; but I've had plenty of their bites before, and it instantly brought back memories of late-night study sessions at their Garden Grove location for nursing school. The cream was a really nice way to break up the sweetness. I was worried that since it was a "Freeze" that it would be icy like a slush, but it was nice and creamy, not icy. Place is huge for a boba store. Great for groups. The drinks are cheaper than most boba places I've been to. This was my first time ever trying Summerfield. Upon entering the store the interior is very cute. I loved the interior design and there was plenty of seating. When we walked in it was empty and there was not an employee at the front to greet us or take our order. It took about 10 minutes before someone realized we were there and said hello from the back window but they still did not walk over to the front to take our order. There is a self service kiosk but I would have preferred to talk to a worker since it was our first time to ask questions. We ordered their melon matcha and their tea and popcorn chicken combo. Overall the drinks were very good and chicken was flavorful. The only con for me was the lack of service and face to face in addition the giant spill on the floor they didn't seem to notice. read more

Horrible experience. This place needs to hire more employees. I've been here a few times and it's always busy so I think it's time to invest in more employees to provide better customer service especially with questions on prices or ordering. I ordered a milk tea on the self serve kiosk since no one is there personally taking orders and replaced the boba with crème brûlée topping. Again, since no one was there to ask questions I wasn't sure if it was a liquid or pudding topping. I get my drink and it doesn't have liquid or jelly so I go back. Was told it wasn't in there and then the guy forgets to remake the drink and after waiting 20 minutes another guy comes to help. Finally get the topping and honestly it is not good and the guy filled the cup with a bunch of ice and barely any drink. At the same time, just a couple sips of the tea tasted faintly watered down even though the drink didn't have any ice. Nevertheless, I'd still come back here to try a different type of tea. I also went here to do some research on my laptop, and there wasn't too much space for myself since the cafe was a little small. This location isn't as cozy as the one in Rowland Heights, but it still felt familiar in that people chatted here later into the evening. There was calming pop music playing the background, but an occasional advertisement would turn up. A few other people were studying as well, and there were many outlets available. However, most of the seats weren't comfortable because they lacked a backrest. I was still able to commit and keep my focus.
