I've passed by this bubble shop in the past and I've been wanting to go into it because it was so freaking darn cute from the outside! Upon stepping in, everything is pretty minimalistic; however, to the left-hand side, you'll see a giant bear statue that gives a softness to the entire ambience and if you go further down, there's an entire wall of teddy bears that circles around a large television, which creates a shape of a heart. The television wasn't on, but that wasn't my concern. There were some people in there while me and my friend came late in the afternoon on a Tuesday. It is self order and there is a kiosk for you to place your order, which means no cash is accepted and only tap or credit card. They do have a deal right now for the fruit drinks where it is buy one get one free (BOGO) and so my friend decided to get that for herself. I got the peachy smoothie. I was a bit bummed out when I saw that the dessert bowls were not available, so there was a downside to that since I was looking forward to that. Instead, I resorted with a drink. The two fruit tea drink drinks - 3.5/5 it was overall pretty standard; however, we wish that no ice was an option, and we never asked for it to be full to the brim, but it could not be accommodated so that was a bit upsetting by the time we drank the drink later on it was so watered down. It didn't really taste as great. Peachy smoothie - 3.5/5 I did ask for it to be less sweetened. So instead of 100% I put it as 70%. Overall, the drink wasn't that special. I'm not sure if they actually use fresh peach, but it wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. Their money did advertise that it was fresh ingredients so that's a bit questionable. The whipped cream did not help or add anything to the drink and the popping Boba almost had no flavor to it. The way that drink was made, it was actually challenging to suck up on the popping Boba. I'm hoping that they will bring the dessert bowl back because I look forward to that but until then the drinks doesn't seem that special in my opinion, but the ambience is really adorable. Nice spot to get dessert after a meal. We went to omeli kithcen next door and walked straight here. We got the taro mochi and mango pomelo. Pretty pricey, $10 each but that's about the going price for these kind of dessert anywhere. They're all pretty good. I thought I would like the mango pomelo more, but the taro mochi was surprisingly unique. The mochi melts like cheese and the flavor was pretty spot on. Nothing is overly sweet. Good balance. Overall good dessert to share after a meal, wash the grease! Ordering process was pretty easy. We did through the screen. There was nobody in front, but I think that's by design. The Mango Mango drink here is pretty addicting and the best of the bunch! That slight bit of coconut just adds that creamy/savory-ness to the drink. We also like the Green Grape and Taro drinks here as well. The packaging and decor is also nicely themed. Keeping it from a 5-star review is that the food offerings are average (our popcorn chicken had a strange black color to it though it was tasty) and also when we order on DD they forget to pack straws 1/2 the time lol. read more

This location use to be several past Boba businesses that didn't make it. I hope this one will last, as a good Boba near this area is hard to find. The added bonus this time is that Bear Cup serves different desserts, and not just drinks. The desserts are the jelly/boba/Squishy QQ style desserts, and instead of having to drive all the way to Irvine/Tustin, I can get this now closer in north part of OC. For the drinks, you get your standard style Boba drinks, customize toppings, customize amount of sweetness, and non dairy creamers if requested. But being my first time visiting this place, I went with the dessert. (Next door was Yoshinoya, and I love me some Beef Bowl combos.) So dessert would be perfect for after the meal. I went with the Taro Coconut Milk Jelly Bowl, Mango Coconut Pomelo Sago cup, and Taro Mochi Bowl. Each of the bowls were about 1-2 people portions, at a cost between $8.50-9.50. Is it tasty? Yes. Just the right amount of sweetness. Not too sweet, and the toppings were the right squishiness. The value you get is a bit off, as I expect this to be around the $7 range at most even with inflation. I get this type of dessert in Taiwan, and just like the Drinks, it really shouldn't be too expensive. So this is somewhat of a splurge if you decide to try a bowl. The Coconut jelly is silky smooth, not overly sweet, and goes well with the other stuff that comes in the bowl. The decor was pretty cool too. White walls, covered with Bear decorations, stuff bears, tons of random bears, nice for a picture moment. About 6-8 seating areas, where you can enjoy the treats, and play some card/board games. Staff was okay, nothing stood out, could have been happier, just seems to go with the motion. But at least they were quick. Would come back to try their drinks, and other fried snacks as well. read more

I took an alternate route the other day and stopped by this absolutely STUNNING tea place in Fullerton. Mind you, the inside is pretty simple and minimalist, since the actual decor are just teddy bears, but they have arranged them in such fashion that you can literally take a cute pic w ur friends and that's a cute memory there. The Milk Tea I ordered was pretty good, and the girl who took my order was really nice and explained to me the difference between one tea and another, she was really professional and knowlegeable. So happy I can finally have a great tasting mango sago drink outside of Rowland Heights/ Irvine area. We ordered our drinks/bowl but later got notified that they ran out of it. Maybe I'll wait a month or two before coming back and hopefully they'll have their mango mango drink. Came by for some drinks after lunch next door and saw that they had JUST opened! When we walked inside, I asked the cashier when they opened, they told us just last Friday, which was 10 January. Since they just opened, they had a buy one get one promotion which is also really nice. I got the mango mango fruit tea drink, which was more of a slush with various toppings. If you're toppings girl like me, then you'll really like this, overall wasn't too sweet, even though I got full sweetness. My friend got the Ceylon milk tea. With this drink, the cashier shared with us that they have special straws just for the milk tea and honestly it was pretty cool. Since we got our drinks to go, we also were able to get a to go bag and it was super cute and they were nice enough to give us each one. Overall, the space is pretty nice and the drinks came out pretty quickly, so that was also great. I totally recommend giving the small business a shot especially if you like fruit or milk tea drinks. I happened upon Bear Cup today when I was picking up food nearby. I was very much looking forward to try it as I was craving some sort of taro dessert and saw that they had that, so I ordered their Taro Mochi Bowl from the menu. The preparation took about 5 mins, and it came in a decent sized cup with a lid on top, with 2 small sides of the milk base to mix it in with. They also provided an insulated bag with their logo, which added a nice cutesy touch. From first impression, the dessert wasn't really what I expected it to look like. I thought it was going to have more liquid, but the texture was actually slimy which I think was the mochi. Either way it was still good to taste, and it was also pretty filling. Came here about a month ago, been meaning to write a review for a while but did not have the time to do it. Drinks were good but the service was far below average. We had to wait 55 minutes for 3 drinks when we were the only customers there. The employee was a bit rude when we asked him the status of our drinks nicely and politely, he only shouted "just wait!". When we finally got them there was no interaction whatsoever. He just handed our drinks with a dirty look on his face. no "here you go" or "sorry for the wait!" Or you know, ANYTHING! Too bad we actually loved the drinks but i don't think we're ever going to come back. If anything, maybe have it delivered so we don't have to see the rude employee. Mind you, we almost exclusively only eat out (10+ a week), so we've been to many different restaurants but by far, this place's service is the worst :( read more

This is my 4th time coming here and while I think the drinks are good and the presentation is great, the wait gets me every time. Each time I've been here, there were no parties in front of me and I've had to wait long periods of time each time. The first 2 times I've been there, they were training staff which is understandable. Those times I ordered 2 drinks and waited over 30 minutes. The most recent 2 times I've order 4-5 drinks and have had to wait 20 minutes and once 40 minutes. The layout is a bit confusing as you can't see the drink menu at the register, you have to step back to look and then back to the register. Overall I would say this is a great place IF you have time to spare and not in a rush. There is no online ordering system other than DoorDash, which has fees added to each drink, so you're forced to order in store which takes forever. read more
