They use a non-dairy creamer and oolong tea, which you can really taste in the drink! I got 50% sweet to get more of the tea flavor, but if you want it a little sweeter, definitely do 100% sweetness. I also got their crystal boba with the drink, which has to be one of the tastiest crystal boba pearls I've ever had! You do order from a mini screen, but the service was very good when they bring your drinks out. The shop itself is pretty small and they do have board games for you to play as well. This place was easy to find as it is facing the busy street of Chapman Ave and it is right across the street from Fullerton College. Parking was easy to find, as there is parking in the back, behind the building. And you can park in front of the street if there is any available. When I got there they were a bit busy as it was a long line in front of me. I saw one of the QR codes that said "order online and pick up in store." So I ordered on line and finished my order before actually getting to the self order kiosk and it gave me a pick up time. As I was taking my pictures and waiting, I noticed that the girls behind me in line got their order even before my order was called out. As my pick up time was approaching, I went to go check on my order. And it was already done just waiting in the back. I am not sure how the pick up ordering service works, but I am pretty sure they usually have drinks finished before a pick up time. I felt like I waited all this time when my drink was already ready. I really enjoyed the Phoenix milk tea. Oolong milk tea is one of my favorites. I also like how this is one of the few drinks where you can make adjustments. I am not too sure about the texture of the Boba, as it is not your regular round tapioca balls. I wanted to try the genmaicha latte because I was curious how it would taste in latte form because I drink genmaicha tea everyday. I like how they notify you that this is not a Matcha drink. But when I ordered it, I got Matcha foam on top.The drink is very genmaicha forward. And when you mix in the matcha cream foam, you get hints of that matcha upon every sip. It was delicious and I loved it! I like the ambience of this place. It has a very modern feel with a few tables and chairs as well as benches where you can sit and hang out. They also have some games for you to play while you are waiting or if you want to hang out with friends. It is also a nice study place as it is quiet inside. This place needs more recognition because quite honestly it's up there with the notorious "DaVien" and "Airoma" for their matcha. It's a small cafe with minimal seating, but still a nice place to hang out with friends or study if you get lucky with seating. We didn't get much staff interaction since we ordered on a kiosk, but service was prompt and efficient. I ordered the genmaicha latte (at 75% sweetness), which is a Japanese roasted brown rice green tea. This drink has a distinct nutty and roasted flavor which reminds me of hojicha, but a lot stronger. I ordered both the iced and hot versions, and while this is a rare occurrence, I think I fancy their iced version more. I even added sesame cold foam, subbed oat milk, had light ice, and modified sweetness to 75%. I think it could even be lowered to 30 - 50% and still be perfect. The workers here are very friendly, welcoming, and kind. We both got the Creamy Matcha. I didn't make any adjustments to the sweetness. It was very yummy!
