Omg! I just moved to the North OC area, and I'm happy to say I've found one of my new go-to coffee shop study spots in the area! :) I'm currently studying for a big exam, and it's been surprisingly challenging finding coffee shops to study at with the beautiful, modern, aesthetic ambience that makes me happy, without feeling anxious there won't be enough seats or space when I get there, esp since I have to drive a decent amount to get to cafes. I've been getting a little stir crazy at home and finally making the trek here was so worth it-- I felt more motivated than ever to get work done with a tasty treat. I'm not sure if it's because CSUF just started this week, or because I came on a Friday morning, but it was really spacious and open with tons of outlets (almost at each table). Not sure how other days are, but I'd love to bring my study group friends here in the future, since it's so hard to find places with enough space for study groups! Not to mention the clean bathroom haha and good wifi haha The staff here is also incredibly sweet and friendly, making it a comfortable and good experience. Because it was my first time, I asked the barista about her recommendation, and she also asked my general preferences to cater to my taste, and I ended up with a seasonal Birthday Cake Americano at half sweetness (since I don't have much of a sweet tooth). It was perfect for me! I don't usually get Americanos and have a sensitive stomach rn, but it was delicious and kind on my stomach lol. I also got a ham and cheese croissant, and maybe it could've been heated up a little more, but I did wait a bit to eat it, so it was no big deal. The other barista was also so sweet in answering my many questions haha The only struggle as others have mentioned is the parking - I ended up parking at the retail parking nearby, which had plenty of spots but can get pretty pricey, and it sounds like you can park in the areas others have mentioned still (like The Hub I guess has "New Here" parking spots or the employee parking spots?), so I'll need to look more next time. But there's quite a bit around the area within walking distance, you can easily make a day out of it too. Also since it is at the first floor of an apartment in a college town, there will be students going in and out, so just be prepared for that haha -- reminded me of dorm days, and I'm glad students have a spot like this :) Overall, the yummy coffee, amazing vibe and beautiful ambiance, especially as a study spot, alongside the kind and comfortable service has been just what I've been looking for in a coffee shop around here, and I'm excited to return! Vanilla Thesis is the best better than probably all the rest The coffee is so tasty Not nasty or pasty Their cheese and ham croissant is also bomb better than being made by mom One thing to note about this place, the parking sucks. But fear not, you can go into the structure, park in one of the "employee only" spots, and just tell them which spot and you're golden (wish I knew that before I came and parked across the street). Also, another reason why this place is great is that it's not full at all. Might be because of the parking situation, but the place is near empty which makes it have a nice luxury vibe. Their Vanilla Thesis drink at 50% sweet is soooo good. It's a great blend of coffee and tastes great. You can totally taste the vanilla. Their ham and cheese croissant is also great. read more

Discovered this beautiful coffee spot a month ago and fell in love with their seasonal drinks (strawberry vanilla americano and strawberry cold brew) so we have been coming here as a special treat for ourselves and told and brought our friends. However, today's visit felt different. We ordered our usual strawberry coffee drinks but they weren't pink. When I asked the barista about it she said the syrup has changed. The drinks barely tasted like strawberry and we were disappointed. I immediately regretted upgrading my size to 20oz too. SO I looked up other recent yelp reviews, and I saw that someone posted a picture of their drink 17 hours ago and it was still pink. That makes me question what happened to our drinks. read more

Impossible parking situation.... but, the place is an Interesting concept in a really nice setting. The shop is set up very cleanly and aesthetically pleasing. The coffee I got was a signature Vanilla Thesis iced and while it wasn't bad it wasn't good enough to be pleased, or to come back, there is simply far too much competition in the area not to have really stand out coffee. The bakery goods were very sparce and hum drum. Wife thought the Matcha latte was good, not great but good. Very sad that this place fell short IMHO. read more

I visited NEW HERE Coffee on a weekday to get some work done, and the space was pretty empty. The café itself is beautiful!!!!!!! Vaulted ceilings, green tiles, and exposed wood beams make it really pleasing to the eye. Parking is available in the Hub garage nearby, but it's limited. There's plenty of room inside to study, work, or talk with friends. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha wasn't my favorite. I'm a matcha lover, and this one tasted more like the kind you'd find at Costco rather than ceremonial grade. I also noticed they keep it in a large tub. The color was light, and it was very sweet, almost like the powder already had sugar added. I'd still come back to try their coffee, and I'd love to try the matcha again if they decide to upgrade it. read more

I absolutely love the ambiance of the coffee shop. It has a really cool mid century modern vibe. Tons of seating area. Restaurant is super clean! We ordered ahead, but unfortunately the barista did not see or order until we arrived. The parking is a little tricky, but there is a pickup spot in front of the coffee shop. Tried the cold brew with cold foam and it was not our favorite. It tasted like water, which was unfortunate. We ordered one of the seasonal lattes, and it was good. New Here Coffee is hands down one of the best spots in Fullerton. The staff is insanely friendly and genuinely helpful and makes the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. The vibe is unmatched. It's trendy, creative, and full of good energy without trying too hard. Shoutout to the barista who recommended the Chai'd and True. New coffee spot opened a month ago. TLDR; A hidden gem worth checking out to get things done. DRINKS (4/5): Good variety of coffee drinks. I got the Vanilla Thesis, the vanilla cold foam added the right amount of sweetness to the cold brew. They have a good list of syrups for lattes and a few unique items that'll be worth checking out again. They also have a few bakery items. VIBE (5/5): Beautiful space! Kinda a deco art theme decor and plenty of seating. There are a lot of outlets and free wifi, so ideal place for work/study. It was very quiet here on a Sunday afternoon, which I love. This is next to a college apartment complex (the hub), so it caters to college students. PARKING (3.5/5) There's a parking structure for Hub Retail, I was able to find a spot inside. But if it was busier, it might be tough, since there aren't many spots. The GPS directed me behind the place, but after driving through, I saw the parking on the left. The place is on the street, so it can be easy to miss. OTHER MENTIONS: They have an app so you can get rewards and they have other locations (TN, WI, OH). OVERALL: I would come back again. It's currently a hidden gem, I don't know what it'll be like on other days, but so far I would recommend this place to work/study. I got a strawberry matcha latte, it was pretty good and definitely on the sweeter side. It tasted like strawberry ice cream. This is such a big cafe with so much space to study. There are even rooms and cubicles in the back of the cafe for more privacy. I went on a Saturday morning and it was empty. It's next to Fullerton college so I'm not sure how crowded it can get. read more

This is a great study spot especially because it is so close to CSUF! It is very spacious and there are plenty of outlets. The downside is that the drinks and pastries are just okay. I got the ham and cheese croissant and there was barely any ham or cheese and it was dry. Also, they barely toast it if they ask if you want it heated up. The drinks are also average. I do enjoy the study space but if you're coming here just for the drinks/pastries, it could be a little disappointing. read more

i love studying here because there is so much seating and free wifi. this cafe is located on the first floor of the Hub Fullerton apartment but is open to the public. i tried all the seasonal drinks for the winter! the drinks do tend to either be too sweet or slightly sour but that could just be because im not a huge coffee person, my favorite was the cocoa cold brew which has the fluffiest cream top. i also tried the peppermint mocha, peppermint matcha, and candy cane latte. the staff was friendly and very attentive. come here for a peaceful study session and some coffee :) read more

The menu felt really limited, especially for food, and the drinks were about as basic as it gets. Nothing really stood out or felt exciting. The employee helping us was very kind and did try to offer suggestions, which we appreciated, but it didn't change the overall experience. The whole place kind of gives off "skinny vanilla latte" energy... just bland and underwhelming. Our bagels were good, but let's be real--you can't judge a coffee shop off carbs in a toaster.
