This newly opened coffee shop in Fullerton has plenty of convenient parking. The interior is modern, minimalist, and beautifully designed with warm wood tones and a calm, sophisticated atmosphere. The staff were welcoming from the moment I walked in and took the time to explain the menu, which I really appreciated. They offer a great selection of Korean-inspired signature coffee drinks that you don't typically find at other coffee shops. Today I tried the Chestnut Tiramisu Latte and the Black Sesame Misugaru. Both were rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. I really enjoyed the unique Korean-inspired flavors. I think this might become one of my new favorite coffee spots in Fullerton. RNT Coffee has been on my radar since they first opened 2 months ago. It's located in the shopping plaza adjacent to where Little Ox is, another coffee shop that's right next door (basically). When I arrived this past Monday around 5:30PM, the place was packed with people studying and drinking. I was greeted promptly and the lady working the front took my order. Here's what I ordered: **Iced Americano: This cup of Americano was on slightly on the sour side. It's a solid cup of coffee but the balance of flavor was not to my liking. (3/5) **Black Sesame Misugaru: I grew up drinking a lot of misugaru so I know what it's supposed to taste like when prepared correctly. It was a hot day so it sounded refreshing and plus I wanted to try one of their signature drinks. The flavor is on the lighter side but still adds a good punch. It's less sweet to begin with which I really liked. It's a great drink but it's quite expensive sitting at just under $8. For that reason, the rating is lower than I wanted to give it. (3.5/5) They have some interesting offerings on their menu that I would've liked to try like their green grape matcha tonic but the prices here seem a bit high. If my Americano was prepared to perfection, I would of most likely been a returning customer but this was a one and done for me. I can see this place doing well even with their competitor, Little Ox Coffee being just down the street. If you're looking for a drink with Korean inspired ideas, maybe you'll have a better experience than I did. Service was pleasant, drinks came out in a timely manner, and there's plenty of parking available. Place is very clean but not very spacious. I recently checked out a newly opened coffee shop. My first impression was that they did a great job with the interior design and space planning. The cafe has a clean, modern aesthetic that feels comfortable without trying too hard. I ordered an espresso and their signature drink, the Black Sesame Misugaru Latte. The espresso was excellent. It had a medium-dark roast profile with rich chocolate notes, a nice body, and a well-balanced finish. It was a very enjoyable shot and showed that they know how to make good coffee. The signature drink, however, was a bit disappointing. Compared to the quality of the espresso, it lacked character and didn't really feel like a memorable signature beverage. It wasn't bad by any means--it was simply missing that unique element that makes you want to come back for it. I loved their Green Grape Matcha Tonic! It was on the sweeter side tho but v refreshing, with little bits of green grape that added a nice texture. The second drink I tried was the Mocha Mascarpone Einspanner. It was just okay for me--not too sweet, which I appreciated, but the coffee had a slight burnt flavor that stood out in the after taste for me on every sip. It definitely wasn't bad, just not my favorite or the most memorable drink. The service was good. You order with the cashier when you arrive, and everything was quick and straightforward. The ambiance is really nice. My favorite seating area is the cozy pink cushioned section, but the other chairs are comfortable too you just have to be a little mindful of your posture, haha. (You'll understand what I mean when you see the wooden chairs) I also love that there are plenty of outlets throughout the café, making it a great spot for studying or getting work done. This is a small coffee shop, and the menu is definitely Korean inspired. I chose to get the Mocha Mascarpone Einspanner and I thought it was tasty! The price is definitely premium, as this drink was $8 pre-tax and pre-tip I believe. As all einspanners are, this drink was pretty small, but was quite rich. The mocha flavor wasn't excessively sweet and the foam was quite nice! The consistency and profile of it is similar to an egg coffee. I will say that this space is quite small though. After ordering, there were not many areas to sit. The tables were all basically taken up, and it does not look like they get turned around very quickly here. Seems people hang out here for an hour or more and you'd just have to be lucky that someone gets up to leave. My friend ordered the flight and luckily enough a table freed up. This is definitely going to be an issue, if you do get a flight, because where are you going to drink your tray full of drinks if nobody leaves? That is something to keep in mind, if you consider getting the flight here, and I think the shop should think about how this works in the future as well. The parking lot was totally open and free during the weekend, and most stores looked closed or out of business. No problems for parking at this spot! read more

Authentic korean inspired drinks in a modern but cozy space. Service is also amazing. Our host made sure we were comfortable and that everything was enjoyable for us. I'd recommend the mugwort matcha and maesil aide. The maesil resembles a really classy apple pie in juice form. The mugwort is rich and definitely healthy/slightly medicinal but complements the creaminess of the milky matcha really well. All their drinks were very balanced and clean tasting. read more

My first time visiting this place and I was not disappointed. The flight had a nice range of flavor, the sesame drink had a nice consistency to it, the matcha had a strong matcha flavor and the palette cleanser was a nice refreshing way to end it. I was in the area for an appointment and saw this new coffee spot with their "grand opening" banner out front. The interior is very warm and the decor is very cool. Now let me tell you what I ordered on my first visit. I had their signature flight that came with a Maesil Green Plum Ade for the palate cleanser and with the Mugwort Einspanner and Black Sesame Misugaru. Personally I loved both drinks but I really wished they came in larger sizes but again it's a flight and a taster teaser. With their flight they also included a Yakghwa which is a Korean honey cookie and was a nice touch for an ending. The service was great from start to finish from the lead person. It's on the pricey side, but the aesthetic and the menu options are great. They were out of the mocha powder so I could not order their mocha specialty drink. Also, the iced honey latte I ordered was $7 total (which includes the $.50 tax). I do wish they filled the drink up to the top, even if that meant a bit more ice. Other than that, plenty of park. They also offer staple Korean bakery items such as salt bread and other small dessert bites. The drink menu leans toward unique, niche flavor profiles with more mature and sophisticated notes. As someone who enjoys sweeter drinks, the Green Grape Matcha Tonic was the perfect refreshing choice for a hot summer day. The flight showcased traditional Korean flavors like mugwort and misugaru, creating earthy yet flavorful combinations that were both interesting and enjoyable. Although I'm not a huge coffee person, I'll have to come back for their affogato! Every coffee is also made from Portola coffee beans so you know the quality is there. For food, the salt bread was soft, buttery, and delicious. I also really enjoyed the cheese cookies. The service was excellent. Finally tried this place out after finding it a few months ago. I assume the beans are from Portola I got the affogato with espresso served with Bourbon Vanilla Bean Gelato It would be cool if you could choose your gelato cause the pasta up would be good with this. 4/5 stars I also got the mugwort einspanner - Earthy mugwort drink topped with our house made mascarpone cream. 4/5 stars The area isn't very inviting and comfy to stay and hang out with friends while getting a coffee. If you get The tables are super close to each other and don't leave much room for space so don't expect privacy. If working on your laptop. It's a tight squeeze between tables to get you your chair. Dropped by to check out this new spot, and unfortunately it was a miss for me. I ordered the black sesame misugaru and the strawberry matcha Einspänner, and neither one hit the mark. The black sesame misugaru had that classic misugaru flavor, but it leaned too milk-forward for my taste. The strawberry matcha was the bigger letdown of the two -- not sweet enough, the matcha flavor was weak, and it also tasted more like milk than matcha. On the plus side, the interior is cute and clean, and the service was friendly. But at $17 for two drinks that didn't deliver on flavor, I don't think it's worth it. read more

This is frankly the most beautiful cafe I have ever been to in Orange County. You can tell every detail was thoughtfully decided. From the warm color palette, to the notched tables that match the logo, to the drinks themselves. This cafe is a masterpiece. I ordered the black sesame speciality drink and it was perfection. My favorite part though, was watching the family of this small Korean business work in perfect unison behind the counter. It's a mother, father, son, and daughter working hard to make sure this place is running and you're happy. RNT coffee reminds me why I love Orange County so much. I had came here today and immediately drawn to the wooden door and the very simple wooden aesthetic of this place. Service was incredible and super helpful with brief explanations of recommendations that I should've gotten. Their matcha however wasn't the best. The cream didn't really taste like much and wasn't sweet at all. I believe that it slightly hindered the taste of the matcha. In addition, the cups are pretty small for what it's worth. Walking into the cafe it immediately radiated signs of an upscaled cafe from the wooden interior with the smooth jazz playing in the background. It's a Korean owned cafe with traditional roots shown through their contemporary style of drinks. We tried their drink flight, consisting of black sesame misugaru, then a mugwort einspanner, and finally a maesil (Korean green plum) ade. The first two drinks were quite thick, heavy and the last one served as a palate cleanser. They used traditional ingredients I was quite foreign to, yet the style I was served made me want to come back again. These drinks were an easy entry, suitable for those unfamiliar to ingredients like mugwort, misugaru, and maesil. Finally, the service was amazing. These workers seemed interested in what we thought during the soft opening, and were very hospitable throughout the experience. Thank you to Colin who had served us. I tried this place earlier this week because my wife saw hella videos about them on social media and I was not disappointed at all, not in the least bit. Parking was super easy, many spots were open. The only difficult thing was choosing where to park. Upon approaching the entrance, you are drawn to the cafe by its light wooden door. Once we were inside, we were greeted immediately by a male cashier (I love this detail because some cafes don't greet you at all). The male cashier was really friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We ordered two drinks, the green grape matcha tonic and the mocha mascarpone eispanner. The cashier also asked us for our name and after we sat down, he personally brought the drinks to us. This personal touch was freakin' awesome. Service 100/5. The decor inside was beautiful. You can tell everything was intentional. Seats were very comfy as well. I really love this place and will be back. Drink review: Green Grape Matcha Tonic: 5/5 - This drink was absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly balanced with each sip. It had little bits of green grape in it. The flavors were fantastic: you can taste the green grape, the matcha and it was very refreshing.
