This café is a good spot to study or if you have to wait for your kid to finish their driving class at AAA, which was my case. This was my second time visiting 525. I was the only customer when I went, so service was quick. I got a mocha and it was good. Nothing out of this world. The place is pretty spacious inside and a nice patio out front. I sat on the outside patio and was watching a barber give a haircut across the street on the second floor. Only bad thing about sitting outside were those pesky mosquitoes. Parking is troublesome, I wish they had a sign to show there's spaces in the back otherwise you can park on the street or around the corner in the neighborhoods. This is a great option if you are looking for a location that is not super busy on a weekday. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I stopped by on a Monday from 2pm-5pm. It was quiet and there were plenty of seats open. Ordered the Coconut Top Latte and a Chorizo Cheddar Croissant. The latte had a moderate coffee flavor, but the coconut foam could have been stronger. The croissant was delicious, buttery, and flaky, though it could have used a bit more chorizo inside. Bathrooms were clean and there is street parking available. A very cute spot basically in downtown fullerton. We parked on the street but it does look like there is a parking lot in the back. Don't get mistaken, this does look like a house but it's actually a coffee hut! From what I experienced, I think theyre more known for their flavored drinks. I love their menu with their unique twists on lattes. I ordered the orange bianco and thought it was wonderful. It was basically like an orange latte. Also, their strawberry latte was great as well. They actually smush real strawberries. However, their regular latte tasted kind of burnt. For a coffee shop, I'm not sure why a basic latte just tasted pretty bad. Look for the purple house, because if you blink you'll miss this place! 525 Coffee is in a converted house and painted a lovely shade of lavender. The house is set back a bit so you won't notice it the first time around. We didn't notice the shop when we drove by and ended up having to turn around and do the slow drive by before we found it. We ended up parking in the street, but FYI, if you drive along the narrow driveway to the left of the building, there are 3 parking spaces and 2 handicap accessible spaces available in the back. The decor is super cute and airy inside. There are plenty of seats and several people were working when I visited. There's a nice patio in the front as well as a back patio seating by the parking lot. Handicap ramp is on the right side of the house. The ladies bathroom is HUGE, they probably could've added a second stall in there They offer classic coffee drinks and teas, as well as unique and creative signature drinks. The barista was well versed with the drinks and gave us good recommendations as it was our first time visiting. My friend and I ordered the Strawberry Cream Latte, and another friend ordered the Orange Bianca. I wasn't much of a fan of the orange Bianca, but my friend enjoyed it. Located near downtown Fullerton, this shop is off commonwealth and you'll have to find street parking, although there's a very small parking lot in the back. Once inside, it's pretty spacious! I actually really appreciated the fact that they had great seats all around! They were nice and comfortable. Perfect spot to grab a coffee and read or study. I got their cold brew and Sage cheddar croissant. The cold brew was good, but the croissant was AMAZING. It was nice and flakey and had just the right flavors. I went during the week in the morning, so it wasn't terribly busy. However, I could see this place getting busy during the weekends. I'll need to come back and try out their other drinks. Whenever I am in a "new" area, I Yelp for a new coffee shop, especially an independent local coffee shop. As I pulled up to 525 Coffee Co., I did not realize it would be a house with the (white) "picket" fence. Since it was early morning, there were plenty of street parking but I can see that parking would be an issue later in the day. I did ask for recs and it seems the Strawberry Cream Top Latte is what they are most known for. I do wish, however, that I had known it was a cold drink. Yes, Cream Top should have registered to me as a cold drink, but it was early in the morning, pre-coffee, and my first time here. There's plenty of coffee options nearby my house and every now and then I like to mix it up, which brought be back to 525. I don't remember much about my first visit, so it felt like I was going for the first time and was really excited to try more of their menu. For starters the location is super cute! Plentiful street parking and proximity to my house made it the perfect pit stop on my walk. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of natural light. For a weekday it seemed pretty busy so some of the indoor seating might be harder to grab depending on the time of day you come. There's not too much to say about their service. My barista wasn't super friendly, but everything came out fairly quickly and nothing on that end was truly bad. I really think it just depends on who's working, but I would say this didn't affect my experience too much. Coffee wise they're solid, and I enjoyed everything I had. The Strawberry Cream latte was pretty good, and the croissant I had with it was also tasty. There weren't many options left in the case for food but I also arrived later in the day so I'm sure they sold out of their other items. There are definitely better spots around the area with more interesting menus, but you're not gonna go wrong coming here. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the mood. The matcha latte was so good..not overly sweet at all, and the matcha flavor was perfectly balanced. I also loved the little strawberry pieces mixed in, which added a nice burst of flavor and texture. The chocolate PB cakewich was decent. If you eat it right away, it tastes a little dry, but once you let it sit out and thaw a bit, the chocolate flavor really comes through. I do wish it had a bit more peanut butter to balance it out, but overall I'd still buy it again. I will deduct one star away simply because i prefer to devour once I purchase it instead of thawing it put for few minutes. The building is literally facing Commonwealth and can be easy to miss since it looks like a house from the outside. Inside, though, it feels calm and peaceful with a few seating areas to relax. Theres coffee, refrigerated drinks, small pastries (only cookies & tiny cakes at opening), matcha, teas, and tonic drinks. The service is easy and quick. Good place to study with indoor and outdoor seating. There's also a restroom for men and women. I'd come back and get other types of drinks. I went here for a quick coffee break and there is a good amount of seating for those who want to relax or work from a coffee shop. Parking is free street parking that's fairly available but it can be tough with traffic in the street. We got the strawberry matcha tea latte and orange bianco, both of which are 525 signatures and $7.50 each tax included. Price wise is decent with the quality and presentation. Strawberry matcha tea latte is really good with fresh fruit chunks. My girlfriend said this is one of the best matcha lattes she has tried. The orange bianco has double espresso, milk, and orange compote which is quite interesting. It is definitely less sweet and has a little bit of a tangy kick from the orange, so your mileage may vary on if you like it or not. Otherwise, if you want something of this format, then get the strawberry bianco. Drinks are prepared fairly quickly and there are plenty of spots to take nice pictures of the drinks. After standing there for about a minute and looking over the menu, we hoped the person at the register would ask if we needed help, but that never happened. When we eventually placed our order, the interaction felt very transactional. There was no welcome, no recommendations, and no effort to create a positive first impression. Parking can be hard in the back because there's only 3 spaces, but there should be plenty of street parking. I ordered the strawberry matcha and my coworker got the yuzu expresso tonic. The furniture is clean and comfortable; the music is quiet for studying; and the location is filled with electric sockets to charge devices and laptops. I had entered the establishment on Wednesday (near 2:00pm) and the place is packed with college students. At 525 Coffee Co, I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Tea Latte ($7.50). The drink is aesthetically pleasing to look at, but it's pricey for the given portion and quality. The beverage tasted like watery milk. I barely tasted the matcha. Thankfully, the drink's bits of strawberries tasted fresh. Unfortunately, I needed to navigate my boba-sized straw around the generous ice to reach them. Next, I noticed the posted hours are short compared to other locations; it closes at 4PM or 6PM depending on the day. Parking is also very limited; I had to park in a nearby neighborhood just to walk over. Concerning service, 525 Coffee Co had one staff member. She's friendly and busy. There was no line, but I still waited for 3 minutes before being helped at the register. Overall, 525 Coffee Co is a cozy location with unmemorable drinks; I can't recommend the Strawberry Matcha Tea Latte. This is a wonderful little coffeeshop - probably one of the best in all of Fullerton/Buena Park. I got there nice and early around 7:30am and had a cute little table in a very comfortable chair (just threw out my back, that chair was a godsend). I spent the whole day there working, getting up occasionally to order some of their very tasty little snacks. It's so rare as a celiac to get to have nice cakes and these hit just the spot.
