Coconut Top Latte and Chorizo Cheddar Croissant
    Katie D.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Solid calm coffee spot with large tables, outlets, and a smaller crowd than other cafes in the Fullerton area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great option if you are looking for a location that is not super busy on a weekday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have both indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I stopped by on a Monday from 2pm-5pm. It was quiet and there were plenty of seats open.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered the Coconut Top Latte and a Chorizo Cheddar Croissant. The latte had a moderate coffee flavor, but the coconut foam could have been stronger. The croissant was delicious, buttery, and flaky, though it could have used a bit more chorizo inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathrooms were clean and there is street parking available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also noticed they have high chairs available which is a nice touch for families.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

TLDR: parking not easy but pretty spacious, [[HIGHLIGHT]]homey cafe with wifi[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]; bad orange bianco latte, nonchalant service I like my drinks with a cream top not a foam top and this was the first orange bianco latte I had with just milk froth on top. It was very bland and the latte itself was just milk. I should've verified but I did not expect to pay $8 for a watered down latte without cream. I recommend you get a different drink if you come to study!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This a cute little coffee house! It was clean and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are places to sit outside (though on Commonwealth, so sometimes a bit noisy) but I sat inside and was able to get lots of work done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Barista was friendly. The Nutella croissant was delicious! The Salted Maple cream cold brew was also good, though I might not say it's my favorite. I'll definitely be back!

Spacious interior with multiple sitting areas.

This café is a good spot to study or if you have to wait for your kid to finish their driving class at AAA, which was my case. This was my second time visiting 525. I was the only customer when I went, so service was quick. I got a mocha and it was good. Nothing out of this world. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is pretty spacious inside and a nice patio out front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I sat on the outside patio and was watching a barber give a haircut across the street on the second floor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only bad thing about sitting outside were those pesky mosquitoes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely return.

The sesame latte tasted grainy and a bit watered down as well. Service was quick and efficient and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance was great[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but would not come back for drinks.

LOVE the Strawberry Cream Latte from here! This is one of few coffee shops that offer a strawberry latte and they execute it perfectly!

A very cute spot basically in downtown fullerton. We parked on the street but it does look like there is a parking lot in the back. Don't get mistaken, this does look like a house but it's actually a coffee hut! From what I experienced, I think theyre more known for their flavored drinks. I love their menu with their unique twists on lattes. I ordered the orange bianco and thought it was wonderful. It was basically like an orange latte. Also, their strawberry latte was great as well. They actually smush real strawberries. However, their regular latte tasted kind of burnt. For a coffee shop, I'm not sure why a basic latte just tasted pretty bad. Lastly, they take a while to make your drinks and it wasn't even on a busy day, which was why this is 3/5. The sweet flavored drinks is what you want yo get here.

    Iced white chocolate latte

Nice customer service, quick, and delicious coffee. I got an ICED WHITE CHOCOLATE LATTE - and it was very delicious! I enjoyed every sip! The only down side to this shop is that it's right next to a busy street & therefore not too many places to park. But a great spot and I'd likely return again (:

Look for the purple house, because if you blink you'll miss this place! 525 Coffee is in a converted house and painted a lovely shade of lavender. The house is set back a bit so you won't notice it the first time around. We didn't notice the shop when we drove by and ended up having to turn around and do the slow drive by before we found it. We ended up parking in the street, but FYI, if you drive along the narrow driveway to the left of the building, there are 3 parking spaces and 2 handicap accessible spaces available in the back. The decor is super cute and airy inside. There are plenty of seats and several people were working when I visited. There's a nice patio in the front as well as a back patio seating by the parking lot. Handicap ramp is on the right side of the house. The ladies bathroom is HUGE, they probably could've added a second stall in there They offer classic coffee drinks and teas, as well as unique and creative signature drinks. The barista was well versed with the drinks and gave us good recommendations as it was our first time visiting. My friend and I ordered the Strawberry Cream Latte, and another friend ordered the Orange Bianca. I wasn't much of a fan of the orange Bianca, but my friend enjoyed it. The strawberry cream latte was so good, honestly it was like drinking an affogato with strawberry ice cream. They sell cakewiches and pastries from Cake Monkey Bakery in LA. I picked up a gluten free tangerine tea cake and almond croissant and both were great!

I was pleasantly surprised by the vibes at 525 Coffee!! this spot is very compatible with students and folks who WFH. Cozy seating, calm atmosphere. I ordered the Spanish latte and could tell it was made with care by my barista. I would say this place is perfect for studying, reading, or just treating yourself to a great latte.

There's plenty of coffee options nearby my house and every now and then I like to mix it up, which brought be back to 525. I don't remember much about my first visit, so it felt like I was going for the first time and was really excited to try more of their menu. For starters the location is super cute! Plentiful street parking and proximity to my house made it the perfect pit stop on my walk. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of natural light. For a weekday it seemed pretty busy so some of the indoor seating might be harder to grab depending on the time of day you come. There's not too much to say about their service. My barista wasn't super friendly, but everything came out fairly quickly and nothing on that end was truly bad. I really think it just depends on who's working, but I would say this didn't affect my experience too much. Coffee wise they're solid, and I enjoyed everything I had. The Strawberry Cream latte was pretty good, and the croissant I had with it was also tasty. There weren't many options left in the case for food but I also arrived later in the day so I'm sure they sold out of their other items. There are definitely better spots around the area with more interesting menus, but you're not gonna go wrong coming here. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the mood. Worth a visit if you've never been before!

    Chocolate PB cakewich
    Khanh N.

I stopped by and ordered the strawberry matcha latte along with the chocolate peanut butter cakewich. The matcha latte was so good..not overly sweet at all, and the matcha flavor was perfectly balanced. I also loved the little strawberry pieces mixed in, which added a nice burst of flavor and texture. The chocolate PB cakewich was decent. If you eat it right away, it tastes a little dry, but once you let it sit out and thaw a bit, the chocolate flavor really comes through. I do wish it had a bit more peanut butter to balance it out, but overall I'd still buy it again. I will deduct one star away simply because i prefer to devour once I purchase it instead of thawing it put for few minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The building is literally facing Commonwealth and can be easy to miss since it looks like a house from the outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside, though, it feels calm and peaceful with a few seating areas to relax.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restroom was clean as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Customer service is 5/5. Very sweet and welcoming.

The inside of this place is quaint, a decent amount of seating and chill music. Probably a good study spot. Very clean too. I ordered the Caramel Bliss latte (got it half sweet)... it's a caramel latte with vanilla cold foam and caramel drizzle. The prices here are good! The coffee is advertised as $5.99 and after tax comes out to about $6.50 which is still cheaper than most coffee shops these days. The drinks itself tasted amazing! Not too sweet and great flavor. I liked that you can actually taste the coffee. I think since it has cold foam it's still on the sweeter side so if you don't like coffee too sweet maybe skip the foam.

I got so many pastries. There were no misses. My favorite of the bunch was the blueberry cake. The cake wasn't too sweet, was moist, fluffy, and tasty. I enjoyed the matcha cheesecake, garlic sea salt bread, and raspberry cruffin as well. I also grabbed an egg bacon bread and regular sea salt bread to-go for future breakfasts. Warmed up, these were great in the morning! To drink I had the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was not too sweet and yummy! Good matcha flavor and the banana pudding was creamy. Mixed together, it was good. I also enjoyed the crunchy bits in there as well as the real banana slices. I got it at the small size, but the portion was generous. It went well with the pastries. There's some inside seating and tables as well as a bathroom available. There is lots of free parking around the bakery. I went in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was still packed! I love how the bakers were constantly baking even in the afternoon, so they brought out fresh batches of their pastries. The variety is definitely one of the strongest points here. We tried the Matcha Cruffin, Onion Cream Bread, and Three Cheese Bagel. The Onion Cream Bread was the best of the three. The cream was light and balanced well with the bread, but the onion flavor was pretty much lost. I could barely taste it. The Matcha Cruffin was disappointing. There was matcha powder on top, but absolutely no matcha filling inside. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe or simply missed the filling in ours, but for something sold as a matcha cruffin, I expected an actual matcha presence beyond the topping. The Three Cheese Bagel, made with cheddar, cream cheese, and mozzarella, had good flavor but the texture was much too hard. We were dining in and had it warmed up, yet the bread was still tough and the cheese inside had already hardened. Service was fine, but nothing stood out. Overall, great selection and a nice space, but the pastries we tried were inconsistent.
