I have a banana bread business myself, so I am all about bananas, yellow, and banana gear. So, naturally, we took a little drive from Redondo to Fullerton. When we got here, Ryanne was our cashier and Marissa was making drinks. He was super patient with my friend and I as we were beside ourselves with the cute stickers you guys had. And I had my banana pants on and my banana hat on so Marissa said I qualified for the free drink!!! . The food is good, I got the new chili jam sausage croissant and it was fresh and crispy. Really good!! I haven't had anything to truly disappoint me on food, the quality is consistent. But I will say a little pricey for the amount you receive. Service was ok. It could definitely be better. The menu is overwhelming to look at, and I have a hard time choosing when I drive through. But it's frequently a thing where you get the sense the person taking your order kinda expects you to know what you want already. I often just decide not to go here for that reason because I get social anxiety and this kinda spikes it. I'll be honest the barista recommendations haven't really wowed me yet. I love that all the workers here seem to get along and have a good time. But it feels like the customer experience is definitely set to the side or put as a secondary priority. Like many reviewers have said: most coffee and matcha on the menu is just a dressed up vanilla latte. Vanilla is a great flavor but don't expect anything profound here. What I do enjoy is their coffee smoothies menu the blended mango energy buzz is nice I definitely recommend meeting friends or work buddies here, but the atmosphere is really loud if you're just trying to relax and get work done. The vibe is definitely more social setting for the cafe. Their handoff for your drink in the cafe is pretty much tiny/nonexistent and they don't really call your name either so don't be afraid to check up on your drink if it's been a minute. Stumbled upon Better Buzz on the way home and decided to stop in for an afternoon pick-me-up -- so glad I did! I'd heard the banana coffee was a must-try and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Sweet but not overdone, a natural hint of banana without any artificial taste, and the cold foam on top was fluffy and heavenly. We also tried the Cinnamon Pistachio from their new seasonal menu and that was another hit -- a perfect blend of flavors that somehow avoids that fake sweetener taste you find elsewhere. What really made the visit was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and happy to share their personal favorites to help us narrow things down. That kind of enthusiasm goes a long way. We order the banana matcha flavor and coconut flavor latte. The drink was alright, the matcha is light in color which usually indicates lower grade matcha and the banana is lacking flavor. The coconut taste more like a vanilla latte than coconut. Drink deserve 3 stars, but we would come back to check out the food next time. read more

I've been wanting to try Better Buzz for a while and was eating near by so stopped by for a coffee for the drive home. This location is amazing, near the 91 freeway entrance and large, clean and very cozy to enjoy your drink alone or with friends. The menu is expansive. There is something for everyone here. I decided to start at the top with the Best Drink Ever. An Americano with their signature creamy vanilla added. Shuttle, not too sweet and coffee forward... which is always my preference. I'm here for the beans not the diabetes. The list is large of specialty drinks, so many directions you can go. Also a nice selection of teas, smoothie and even açaí bowls. So I will be back to try more. They also had some food options that looked good and a great assortment of pastries. Unfortunately I just had a large dinner so I will have to be hungry next time I drive through. The staff was well versed in the menu and provided some recommendations. They were very busy and the lobby was packed. But the staff remained chipper. Truly a great shop! It's so nice when employees get to know their customers. My hubby and I sometimes have gone weeks without going maybe even like a three month period and the manager, Ryan, immediately recognized us and asked where we had been. And they always greet you the moment you walk in and out the door as well. Customer service is top notch! And honestly I've never had any issues with any order. If I had anything negative to say it would just be that the music can be a little bit loud sometimes on the weekend afternoon but it's not to where it would stop me from visiting. First time trying Buzzed today. Ordered a 16oz blended mocha, no whip. It was absolutely delicious. Ham and cheese croissant, bread was perfect and fluffy. So flavorful. Caprese sandwich looked amazing! The bread was soft, it was missing the balsamic glaze and the flavor was bland and lacking . Unfortunately we both were in the restaurant within 20 minutes of eating. Went through the drive-thru on a busy day and decided to stick it out since the line was packed and expectations were high. Service moved pretty fast overall, and the staff outside were helpful, they even recommended adding cinnamon foam, which I appreciated. I ordered a Horchata Iced Latte and a Vanilla Bean Latte. The horchata was good, though nothing too crazy. The cinnamon foam definitely helped elevate it. The vanilla bean latte, on the other hand, tasted pretty bitter and just okay in my opinion. It felt like they might've been rushing due to how busy it was. That said, they do have a huge variety of drinks, so I'm open to giving it another try down the road. Better Buzz is one of my favorite coffee spots when I'm in the San Diego area, and I'm glad they opened a new one up in Anaheim! This place took over the old KFC building, but you would never know it. It's surrounded by a large (though busy) parking lot, so I had no trouble finding a nearby spot to park and walk in. The whole place has been renovated and remodeled and it looks great. They had a drive thru, but I walked in to take a look around. It's bright and airy despite the industrial look, and the staff is cheery and attentive. My food and drinks were ready before I even finished paying! My +1 and I both got the cinnamon cold brew coffee. It was strong and delicious. We also got an avocado toast and ham and cheese croissant (with egg added) and were satisfied. Everything tasted fresh, and though it wasn't cheap, it was a nice treat. This place is a guilty pleasure we'll probably end up enjoying more often than we should. read more

Better Buzz Coffee quickly became my new favorite. You can't go wrong with almost any coffee item on the menu. They all taste delicious - never too sweet or too bitter. Not gonna lie, their coffees *are* a little pricey. Unlike Starbucks, they do charge for other milk alternatives. We always spend at least $16 for 2 specialty lattes, which feels like a lot for coffee. This is why I give 4 stars. I might change it to 5 if they stop charging extra for oat milk. I am excited, though, for the new location in Anaheim to open soon. Much closer to me than Fullerton! read more

This place has become a new obsession for my husband and I, we tried it for the first time last month and now have been back here almost weekly. The Best Drink Ever is delicious, I love the caramel vanilla one, it's not too sweet and not too bitter, and they give just the right amount of ice. I used to live in Starbucks but these guys have easily become my new favorite. The pastries are amazing too! Service is always super friendly and helpful, and the inside is clean, comfortable, and has a great playlist for just relaxing in the vibes. It's never too loud the few times we've come in. I gave it to my husband though- so it didn't go to waste. The avocado toast was lacking. I was disappointed in this overall. The bread was soggy. The avocado tasted like it was the little containers of premade avocado spread that they sell at the grocery store. Not real avocado, just the weirs tasting spread. That killed it for me. How are you going to sell avocado toast and not have really avocado??? Come on now. I ordered the Feta Avocado Deluxe Toast with extra Grape Tomato, extra Feta Cheese, added Salt & Pepper, and added balsamic dressing. I wouldn't order that again. My husband got a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich and loved it. He enjoyed his coffee too. He got a hot coffee, black. He enjoyed the roast. Better Buzz was a win for my husband. With just trying their signature "Best Drink Ever" (Americano with their house creamy vanilla - $5.79), I already became a fan. They make my top 3 fave coffee spots for me. Was here during lunch time 1 pm. We we headed to Lotteria (Korean burger joint) originally, in same plaza and saw a line so decided not to go. That's how we found Better Buzz Coffee. What we ordered ~ Deluxe OG Acai bowl was good. I noticed it looks like they don't make the actual acai part of the bowl fresh meaning right than. It was a bit frozen but they add the toppings on fresh. The acai part was good along with the bowl itself. ~ Feta avocado Toast was yummy. Wished it came with an egg but it was still good and yummy. ~ Hazelnut Divinity w oat milk topped Vanilla cold foam is a great drink. Really creamy. Got it 50% sweetness. The drink per associate is pretty sweet. So i Adjusted the sweetness. My 1st time having their drink n it's legit good. Associate was nice & got our items in a timely manner. They said they've been open since December of 2024. Still shock i was never aware as i request Fullerton to visit my in laws occasionally and I'm always on Harbor Blvd. Lots of parking in the plaza. To start off, both the inside and the drive thru were busy! But the service was still quick, inviting, and satisfying! We met a friendly cashier who was more than happy to recommend his favorite drinks, so that's what me and my friend got :) I wish I could remember his name, he was so nice and friendly. We also got a banana loaf, and the Nutella croissant. Both were delicious and a perfect match for our drinks. I'm happy that I finally stopped by! Tried this for the first time the other day. I'm picky on coffee and did add extra shots but it just tasted meh for me. Could have been a little sweeter because I do like sweet - but not too sweet. I tried a breakfast sandwich too and it was good but I wish more meat - I just asked for a recommendation and didn't really listen to what meat/lack of meat that there was. I will be back to try once more but the Service alone was awesome. I talked to Carmen when ordering and she was awesome and so informative and friendly. Stopped by to share a Better Buzz experience with my sister, who is visiting from out of town. I knew taking her thru the drive-thru would be a big mistake. I didn't want to hold up the line while she tried to make a decision. So, we went inside and just as I thought, she was a bit overwhelmed. So many good options. We ordered our drinks, and while we waited I shared with her some of my favs, and the Avocado Toast is my hands down favorite. You can add bacon or egg if you want, but the bread, avocado,cherry tomatoes,feta cheese, microgreens and balsamic vinegar is so good, I advise you not try to eat this while driving. The manager overheard our conversation and gave us a complimentary one on him. My sister might try to have me express ship her one to Sacremento. Very cool place to study or work as well. I came by for a caffeine kick while I waited to get into Lotteria down the street. First impressions: it's very big and clean inside with plenty of seating and the decor was cute with lots of neon lights and a very cozy vibe. They play on the word "Buzz" everywhere, and I loved it - very clever. They also have a drive thru for those on the go! They had a nice selection of food and drinks available. I asked for a drink recommendation and the cashier said the "Best Drink Ever" line was very popular, which starts with an espresso base and they use a vanilla powder to make it sweet and creamy. Makes me think of what Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf does. So I ordered the Coconut Best Drink Ever, as well as a seasonal pop tart (apple), and a kouign Amann. This location is big, beautiful and a bit glamorous unlike their more chill and beach vibes in their San Diego locations. I love this decor as well ! The bathroom (code needed) was beautiful. I got the regular iced hazelnut latte (one pump) with oatmilk. It was perfect : exactly how I wanted ! They have breakfast and pastries and they looked delicious. Service was fine.
