I've been to this Acai Republic location three times, and it has been a good experience each time. I tried the São Paulo acai bowl along with the Ms. Detox juice. The juice has a strong ginger flavor, but it's refreshing, healthy, and definitely worth trying if you enjoy ginger. The acai bowl was fresh, filling, and really satisfying. The staff has always been friendly, and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your meal. It's also conveniently located across the street from a gym, making it a great spot to grab something healthy after a workout. read more

Oh how I love this place. Top two acai spots for me. I'm glad they expanded over the years to many more locations. I remember Tustin being the only location for the longest time. I hate to say it but this is the worst açaí bowl I've had. The açaí was strange because it was flavorless but at the same time it tasted artificial. The toppings were unenjoyable as they were nearly frozen. The service is odd too with their self check out machine... Not the best Acai bowl I've had but they made it easy to order with the kiosks and options to get a mini, regular or large size allowed me to try a new flavor without regret. I got the Tahiti for my daughter and Mango bowl for me. Both had fresh fruit on top but the Acai was a bit bland for my taste. We had to add a bit of honey to ours. I was excited to try this place because it got so many reviews but I was disappointed. I ordered a regular size build my own. They had the standard topping options for fruits; however they charge extra for everything else including peanut butter, almond butter, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds etc.. at other açaí bowl places they usually come with free toppings. Price of plain açaí bowl base + fruits it came out to be $15 read more

Tasty and fresh, but very expensive for very little acai. I got a small Cali Bowl to share with my boyfriend to satisfy our acai craving, but the actual acai filled less than half of our small bowl. The fruit toppings were fresh, ripe, and delicious, and the acai itself was rich in flavor rather than the icy and overly sweet taste that some places have -- but there was way too little in the bowl. We paid $12 for essentially a bowl of fruit. The girl working at the front was very sweet though, absolutely no problems with service. The inside facilities and seats are well kept and clean! I'm sure that this is a choice that the company makes to be stingy with the acai, with no fault to the workers. Smoothies may be a better option if you choose to come here, since I saw a girl walking out after me with a nice looking smoothie! read more

Decided to stop by on a late Saturday evening for a nice cool treat. It was 30 minutes before closing so I thought maybe the employees would be upset, but the girls were very friendly! Took time with the menu and my questions since it was my first time. As I was waiting I got some complimentary ice water and accidentally dropped my cup. The girl insisted I didn't clean it up multiple times politely. I still did because I felt terrible... but the service was incredible. And the bowls were amazing!!! 10/10 recommend. I would give this place a great review if it weren't for Lexi. Her service was terrible--rude, unprofessional, and outright disrespectful. She insulted me, ignored me while helping customers who arrived after me, and took an excessive amount of time to prepare smoothies. Instead of focusing on her job, she complained about her personal issues and made the experience uncomfortable. Her behavior completely ruined what should have been a positive visit. read more

I was so excited to have an açaí republic close to home. Went to this location for the first time and decided to get a fresh juice. Definitely do not recommend! My green juice wasn't strained & did not taste like a juice at all . Which was a bummer because I was looking forward to it. Ambience is bright but a bit dated ~ nothing that takes away from the experience, just noticeable. Overall, good smoothies, fast service, just read the ingredients if you're being mindful of what's going into your cup.

I waited until someone was available to ask, and the employee told me they were out of boba. My issue wasn't that they had run out... things happen. It was that there was no indication of this on the kiosk, and no one informed me before making my drink. I've had a similar situation at another Sunright location in DTLA when they were out of boba, but they let me know before preparing my order so I could decide whether I still wanted the drink or wanted to change it. That's the kind of customer service I was expecting. When I mentioned that I wished I'd known before ordering, the employee apologized, but it felt so dismissive, as though it wasn't really a concern and they wanted to get back to what they were doing. If you're out of a core ingredient like boba, especially at a boba shop, there should be a notice on the kiosk or customers should be told before their drinks are made. It would save customers from disappointment and make for a much better experience.

I liked that you can actually taste the coffee. I think since it has cold foam it's still on the sweeter side so if you don't like coffee too sweet maybe skip the foam.

The ordering process was convenient, thanks to their wide touch screen. Please note location is cashless. The menu offers a great selection of acai bowls, with sizes ranging from mini to large. this place is reallllyy good. I've been three time and each bowl I've ordered has amazing quality and great taste. It has affordable prices and a wide selection of food. My personal favorite is the Hawaiian bowl with peanut butter. A helpful thing they do is putting granola on the bottom of ur açaí bowl so you don't have to mix as much! I came in on a dry, hot Tuesday noon and it turned out being a great and perfect place to eat some acai bowls. I've been to a couple of other acai bowls but this one was much better by far as the fruit was extremely juicy and delicious, the granola was scrumptious, and the customer service was superb. Her attitude was the worst ive seen this year at any restaurant. I said yes because my girls dont eat peanut butter and we just want the right order, i wasnt upset rather confused. Once I asked her to remake the right order, her face turned dark and she was clearly upset. At the end she brought the cups, did not even apologize, gave me all the attitude, and gave me the bags and did not say anything... no thank you for coming, NO sorry there was a mistake, nothing. I felt really bad for the owner of this place because store seems to be new and running well but has a cancer in their store. The restaurant can have best price, best quality, best presentation but if you have horrible customer service oriented staff, they will run out of business. I logged on, found the paperwork I needed, hit print and went to the printer dropped in some coins to get a copy. Easy and so fast. I really appreciated that the mango purée base tasted natural and wasn't overly sweet, just 100% pure mango goodness. The employee was very friendly. Plus the 100% agave honey was just the right amount. The portion size was generous too; it was big enough for my husband and me to share. Can't wait to come back and try the other bowls!
