This is my favorite açaí bowl place because you can fully customize it down to the bases up to the toppings. I haven't lived in California for years, but I always make it a point to stop by blue bowl when I'm visiting! The staff were kind and efficient. Plentiful seating in the building with AC. read more

My wife and I stopped by Blue Bowl at Rodeo 39 on Sunday to give it a try. The place was very busy, which shows it's a popular spot. My wife ordered one of their açaí bowls, and it was okay overall. The bowl was loaded with fresh fruit, granola, nuts, dried fruit, and other toppings, making it look very colorful and appealing. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion size was generous. Personally, I thought it was good but nothing that really stood out or made me want to come back just for it. If you're already visiting Rodeo 39 and looking for a healthy snack or light dessert, it's worth trying once. The staff worked efficiently despite the long line, and the area was clean. Overall: 3 out of 5 stars. It was a decent experience, but for me, it didn't quite live up to the hype. read more

I love Blue Bowl. They are actually my favorite acai bowl business of all times. This location of Blue Bowl is inside the Rodeo 39 food hall. Among the Blue Bowl locations I have been to, they are the least friendly and on the slow side. At Blue Bowl you can order their Signature "Lazy Blue" Bowl if you don't want to do any thinking, or you can build your own. They are priced by size regardless of what you pick: $11.50 - 12oz $12.90 - 16oz $14.90 - 24oz My go-to size if it was my breakfast is the 16oz, but since I was snacking on other things at the food hall, I only got the 12oz. For the base I opted for the acai, pitaya and blue bowl chia pudding. Then the granolas I got the pumpkin flax and maple quinoa. For the fruit, I got the blueberries and strawberrys. From the nutbutters I opted for the almond butter. Then with toppings I just got pumpkin seeds. Lastly for the sweeteners I asked for the agave. They have powders too but I don't like it texturally for my bowls. The one thing I noticed from the strawberries at this location is that the knife cuts are more choppy and that actually affected the building of the bowl and the overall bite. Interestingggg. Things I never thought of before when enjoy prior blue bowls. I enjoyed my bowl but it was not as satisfying as the Orange, Irvine, or Costa Mesa locations. Fruit preparing and good service really goes a long way for these types of businesses. read more

Blue Bowl is one of my favorite Acai spots, it's always consistent and the workers are very friendly. I like that they have online ordering too, super convenient. It's been a few yars since I've had it and love that there's this location which is closer to me. Their topping selection is so good, you literally can load up on everything. There's indoor and outdoor seating and free parking. ig: @cravingswithcat read more

Walking in, this place was really easy to find. It is on the right side of the main entrance to Rodeo 39. The workers were friendly and helpful in choosing between the various bases that they had. I loved how they packed everything over the brim, making it feel more bang for your buck. Everything was delicious, filled with tons of flavors and necessary ingredients needed for the body. Although small, everything looked clean and neat. Everything was also efficient which was awesome. Totally recommend for anyone craving some quick Açaí. read more

Blue Bowl is always a stop when we are in the OC or a nearby location. we always get something almost similar to the Lazy Blue Bowl and just make some minor tweaks. the two staff members on our early Sunday morning visit were particularly welcoming and and hospitable, though I find most employees are. the only thing, I wish Blue Bowl would make their way up to the Bay!! read more

After many months, I finally returned to this spot, and they totally earned their redemption arc. My experience this time around was the complete opposite of my last visit. The associate quickly and warmly greeted me and worked efficiently on my order. And they were really friendly and professional. Plus, the fruits tasted fresh, and they had seasonal pomegranate seeds on offer as a topping. It's nice to be back! :] read more

Excited to see this in the neighborhood! Other acai places have limited menu items so I always loved the unlimited bowl toppings they offer. Genius! Admittedly I did not realize the spirulina was the blue in their blue topping options so now I'm feeling educated and healthier at the same time. I've already told friends who are blue bowl fans to come here. Location is so good too you can sit outside. Signed up for rewards because I'll try to frequent this location more often. read more

Holy. moly. I think this might be the best smoothie bowl I've ever had, and as a smoothie/acaí fanatic, I do not say that lightly. You can create a custom bowl by combining multiple bases together (e.g. acaí, pitaya, etc.) and then adding unlimited toppings. There are so many options for toppings, and they're all high quality and delicious. The acaí itself wasn't the most flavorful, like compared to what you find at authentic Brazilian acaí shops, but it was still pretty good. The other bases I tried (huckleberry and blue coconut) were great too. They have multiple types of nut butters you can add as toppings, including a couple of custom ones they make themselves - definitely try the blue butter! Thank me later. read more

Recently became a fan of Blue Bowl again! Decided to give this new location a try since its down the street from us. We always opt for acai with peanut better, goji berries, pumpkin seeds, and whichever fruits they have available. The texture of the acai from here id by far the best. It's thick almost like soft serve! I love that it doesn't become liquid like other places. Absolutely recommend Blue Bowl! Don't add any agave if you're afraid of it being overly sweet! read more

I LOVE BLUE BOWL!!!! Please note: this location is inside Rodeo 39. Parking might be hard to find in certain peak hours. Their quality stands out compared to other Fruit Bowl Places. The base is thick and you can mix different base . ( I like matcha or blue coconut.) Would like to try their cold brew base next time . Inside is super clean, fruit is very fresh and they give you a lot ! Even for small portion. Favorite: blue bowl chia pudding, blue bowl yogurt, and walnut toppings. read more

I've gotten into Blue Bowl recently. I love that you can add multiple bases and unlimited toppings into whatever size you order. I really like the pitaya base, ojai maple chia pudding, and chocolate granola with chia, and I usually add all the fruits available as well as mulberries, goji berries, cacao nibs, and coconut. You can ask for samples of anything if you're not sure! I'm a petite person, and the smallest bowl is enough to fill me up. It is quite pricey unfortunately. read more

We placed an order online and you would hope when you order a custom bowl that whatever is listed would be included on your bowl, and whatever is not listed would not be included on your bowl. We drove out of our way to come here so we had placed the order online, picked it up in the store trusting what we ordered is what we would get, and when we reached home we noticed one of the bowls had chia pudding which we did not ask for on that bowl. That bowl happened to belong to my friend who is allergic to chia seeds so we didn't even risk scooping it out especially since it was all over the toppings. She couldn't even eat the bowl and it was a complete waste of money. It may seem like a small issue but if you're following a list of ingredients that should go into a bowl, I don't think it's too much to ask when that's the whole point of your job. Maybe it was an honest mistake but unfortunately it came at the cost of the customer wasting their money. I hope they can be more attentive but I wouldn't risk visiting this location again. read more

Blue bowl has widely spread over the last few years and now you can find this one at the Rodeo 39 in Stanton. It's a little shop where you can build your own bowls and customizing it your own way. Choose your size, base, toppings, fruits and finish it off with a good strip or not. They do have one of the best almond butter here so make sure to have that as one of options. Another location is open and it just so happens to be perfectly located inside Rodeo 39. So convenient, right off Beach Blvd and the 22 freeway. Only challenge here can be the parking. Lazy Blue, the signature bowl is just fantastic! My go to every time. The perfect base layers, fruit, granola, nuts, and topped with agave. Yum, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Consistently perfect from location to location. Employees are always friendly and working quick to fill orders. I also love that they have a loyalty program. Although the bowls may seem a bit over priced, the quality ingredients are worth the bit extra, plus if you are a loyalty member, the free bowl once earned balances it all out. read more

Açaí bowls have been my favorite for a while and when you feel like having something on the healthier side, I will stop by one of their locations. It was my first time at this location since it is usually busy and you can never find parking. This location is in a food hall so you can imagine how many come to hang out with friends and eat some good food. I always order the small bowl since there is always so much to enjoy. My favorite base is a tie between Açaí and Pitaya, basically dragonfruit. Since I have allergies I am selective on my toppings. I usually just get the pumpkin flax, strawberries, blueberries, sometimes apples, and I drizzle agave on top. Every time I eat here, I am always satisfied and feel good. It is a great pick me up. So if you are looking for something healthier and a solid pick me up, I suggest dining here. You will not be disappointed. read more

I know a Blue Bowl hates to see me coming lol but I am SO happy my favorite açaí chain just opened up a location in Rodeo 39! The service was super quick and friendly even though there was a bit of a line right when they opened at 9am! I got a small bowl (12oz) with açaí and blue bowl chia pudding for my bases and maple quinoa granola, bananas, strawberries, THE LARGEST BLUEBERRIES IVE EVER SEEN (see pic), lime squeeze, goji berries, chia seeds, and agave for my toppings. Everything tasted great and up to the classic Blue Bowl standard! Açaí is always fresh tasting and not too sweet, and texture is never too frozen. Pair this with a coffee from Coffee Dose just steps away, and you've got a solid breakfast. Area has free WiFi too, so it's was nice to just sit, eat my bowl, and enjoy some crisp morning air. Will definitely be back! read more

Clean inside, super friendly service. Located in a super cute newly-ish renovated indoor/outdoor shopping center. I am a frequent Blue-Bowler... so the reason I had to change my review to 3* is because I recently learned that they thin out their fresh almond butter with sunflower oil. Seed oils are terrible for you! It's most surprising to find a restaurant with "Superfood" in the name that's choosing to use this highly inflammatory oil. And yes, I know many restaurants use this oil and other nasty ones- but this is how we get change. By demanding higher quality products be used by the places we love to frequent- especially when they want to provide healthier options or present themselves as such. read more

Blue bowl used to be a 4/5 for me, but I came again recently and it seems that they expanded their toppings and bases and added very unique and delicious bases!! They allow you to sample the bases which is nice. The cold brew base was super delicious and tasted like a cold brew ice cream. I also enjoyed the huckleberry base, which I thought was super unique and I haven't been to any other acai place that has this base (and I've been to a lot). Their acai has a good texture, it's a little on the more solid/dry side but the flavor is good and nutty. I love that they have some unique toppings such as dried peaches, dried mangos, and the butter which is a mixture of almond and cashew butter with a bunch of other things (can't remember what they said) in it. They are very generous with the toppings so I was very full with their smallest 12 ounce size. read more

Bomb.com. Acai and all the ingredients are super fresh!! Service was awesome! Highly recommend.

Really good. Smaller than bowls elsewhere for the same price but it makes it up in freshness and flavor. Blue pineapple bowls are my fav.

Honestly been to many locations multiple times and I love it but this one visit wasn't it. I've been their customer since their first orange location as well. Got a regular and they barely put base first of all... and they were pretty skimpy on my toppings usually it's over filled but my bowl toppings were barely at the bowls lining .. my bf got a bowl too and his is perfect and was filled to the rim and over flown when he took the first bite toppings were falling out like it usually is. I asked them to add more bc looking at it you can see a difference in both bowls even though it's the same size. But they rejected us honestly never coming to this location again workers weren't event friendly. Very unsatisfied and disappointed read more
