This spot is a hidden gem. Nowadays a scoop of ice cream can easily run you up $7-8 but this place has really solid Dole soft serve for $5. Service size is huge and you can get three different flavors! Might be the best deal for dessert in today's economy. The pineapple flavor is comparable to Disneyland. I also tried the coconut and strawberry (coconut was very good). I came on a Friday evening around 8:30 PM and there was no line. Plenty of parking as the location is in an average neighborhood plaza. Friendly service and they have a few tables outside. I don't imagine their prices to stay this affordable for long, so take advantage while you can.

No $170 additional price tag attached. Just the dole whip!!! So happy I found this place to get my fix. The menu is plentiful and the taste is oh so yummy and refreshing. Perfect for this unfathomable heat wave.
There were a lot of people outside of the store right when we got here, but the line itself was very short. We waited less then two minutes until we got a chance to sample their product and taste their ice cream. We got their 9 oz with the ube and pineapple swirl. It was delicious and very affordable! If you are craving a quick dessert, this place would be it.
The prices are insanely affordable. So many flavors and you choose up to three in the small cup size! ($5) The small can feed two easily. We got the classic pineapple and pomegranate. Both sweet ,tropical and tart. Very satisfying on a hot day.
I absolutely love this place. It's located in a large, mostly Korean retail plaza. It's a small shop that serves soft serve. Dole Whip style. But not just pineapple; a variety of fruit flavors that change daily (pineapple is always on the menu though). Prices are amazingly more-than-fair for the generous servings. There are a few tables outside but the indoor seating is what I really love about this place. There are three cubbies, with two seats each, done up as little tiki huts. The decorations are wonderful and create a great tropical vibe within the small space. On top of that, the service is quick and friendly. You can have up to three flavors in a serving. I chose a large-sized cup with a swirl of two flavors - pineapple and orange. SO GOOD! I sat at one of the tiki booths and savored each bite while enjoying the decor. I would call this a hidden gem, but with the steady stream of customers, it doesn't appear to be very hidden!
OK, this place is good but I'm not exactly sure why the lines here are so long! The portions are huge so they're so hard to finish. They have a wide variety of flavors available. You can get up two four flavors since you can get two flavors and they can each be splits. I got half pineapple dole whip and half mango-pomegranate swirl. Again, it was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it ever again. It was very very sweet. I guess if you're a Disney adult trying to get your dole whip fix outside of the park!
Amazing value! Only $5 for a 9oz soft serve, enough to share between two people. Vanilla is vegan, fruit flavors are tart, really delicious. Additional flavors changed out daily. Prepackaged pints are 2 for $7.80. Very friendly customer service and cute indoor decor. Highly recommend!
The place is a nice hole in the wall place with very cool decor. Plenty of different flavors for dole whip. I got the 9 Oz POG (Passionfruit, Orange and Guava). My partner got the original pineapple flavor with mango. It was really good! We both enjoyed it. I must say the flavors are very similar to Disneyland dole whip pineapple flavor! It was great tasting, and not sour or too sugary. Will be back to try other flavors. Also, you're allowed to sample before buying. 2 samples per person. The cashier at the front is very nice. Good customer service. The owner is a friendly guy who constantly greets the guest.

It is rare to find the level of service and care that we need in hospitality and customer service. They have more Dole Whip flavors than any establishment I have ever found in person or online. They even have a root beer float swirl. Do you like Cactus Cooler soda? They have a unique swirl that can be made into a cactus cooler float, which is probably the only place that offers this. They post their flavors on Instagram regularly.
Hidden gem! So amazing! The Dole Whip tastes phenomenal! It tastes better than Disneyland--yes--I said it! On top of that, it's a MUCH better deal and "made with love" as the lady boss said! I just stumbled upon this place after having dinner at the Korean restaurant just a few doors down in the same plaza, and am so glad I did! The decor is super cute, island vibes! They have tons of flavors, but I just wanted the signature Dole Whip. Service is nice. Portions are huge! Thank you so much for these huge portions! AND, they had real fruit, a cherry, and tiki umbrella on top! The owners still have full-time jobs, so this shop is closed Monday and Tuesdays, but you gotta give them a try when they're open! It's their passion project. I can't say enough good things and am so happy I found this treasure in Garden Grove! Quality, quantity, service, etc. are wonderful. I WILL be back! I highly recommend!

What I really noticed about this is place is that the specialize in fruit soft serves with various flavors. It's also super affordable. I just discovered my new addiction. First it's refreshing to see a place like this in Garden Grove of all places. Second it's refreshing, literally, to taste such an awesome assortment of flavors. I sampled almost all their flavors and they were all great! And even the samples themselves were huge. Third, the quality, all as smooth as a frozen dessert can be. Truly a dole whip wonderland! :) Fourth, great customer service. Nicest guys around. Long live this place!

Took my kids here over the weekend and we really enjoyed it! It was pretty crowded, but the line moved quickly. The shop is fairly small, but they have a great variety of flavors and you can choose up to three. My daughter has food allergies, so we were especially happy to find a dairy-free Dole Whip option outside of Disneyland! We got pineapple, peach, and raspberry with fresh strawberries on top. Such a great treat to cool off with on a hot day, and perfect if you're craving Dole Whip without having to make the trip to Disneyland! read more

Wow I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner. Immediately walking up the cashier, she was so friendly and let me sample five flavors. I was only going to try the mango and pineapple, but she started handing over the coconut, strawberry and another flavor over. I ended up getting the small cup with three flavors: coconut (highly recommend), pineapple (taste just like Disney), and the strawberry. I can't believe it was only $5!! I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area. I'm sure this place hits the spot even more on a hot summer night. read more

Got the pomegranate and mango with Tajín powder for only $5, and it was so refreshing and delicious on a 98°F day! The service was super friendly, and I love supporting a small mom and pop spot like this. It's also lactose free, and my stomach did not flinch Just a heads up, there is a 4% credit card fee, so bring cash if you want to avoid it. One if my FAVORITE little hidden spots for when I'm craving fruity soft serve that is more than just your normal every day ice cream. I truly believe that although location is key, when you have good food, people will come regardless. Not to mention, amazing service, friendly servers, and an amazing pineapply atmosphere. I love the attention to little details like how they have the whole store scented with a tropical air freshener. And the whimsy cute decor. Their dole whip is with no contest and honestly the best that I've had. I've tried other prepackaged ones and pineapple dole whip at other locations but the consistency and texture of the recipe here is kind of unmatched if I'm being honest. It's like disney's dole whip but with a bunch of different flavors. My top pick right now is the mango dole whip with chamoy powder! My husband is partial to the OG pineapple float. Even then, every single flavor we've tried here does not disappoint. This last time, I had the Strawberry & Lemon swirl. Refreshing, tart, and they are SO generous with their portions. So far, I've taken a couple of my friends here and it's safe to say that this place has landed a spot on their yelp bookmarks and probably also melted into their hearts. If you're ever looking for something not too sweet, fruity and refreshing to end the night - please give this place a try. I promise you won't regret it! read more
Pineapple Lagoon sounds like a Spongebob reference, looks like a tropical tiki hut, and tastes amazinggggg! You can customize in multiple ways by combining flavors, adding on their various toppings, or making it into a dole float instead! Service is super quick and helpful. The portions were filling and they top it off with a cute umbrella! I got the small-sized pineapple and mango dole whip, which was refreshing, perfect tartness, and not too sweet. Pineapple Lagoon really hits the spot after a long day of hiking! It's a small little shop in the corner of this plaza. I got a sample of pomegranate and peach and they were both delectable! Although I ended up choosing the peach. There are many flavors and swirls of flavors to choose from each day. They also have fresh fruits as well as other add-ons to your cup. I chose a peach and mango cup with fresh strawberries and tajin powder. I really loved how fresh and sweet the strawberries were, thy complemented my dessert very well! Out of the two, I loved the mango more. It was sweet and delicious and went well with the fresh strawberries add on I picked. They also had some deals for pints to bring home as well so that's pretty neat as well for next time. read more

I love this place. The couple that owns it is so sweet and kind. The portions are big, and I requested to only serve enough to fill the cup and they happily obliged slowly but surely I'll be going back to try a couple flavors at a time Highly recommend. So fun! The whimsical, eclectic ocean decor makes this place feel super playful, and the vibe is happy all around. They offer 2 samples per person (which you'll need because the fruity flavors all sound amazing.) I love that some are creamy while others are more icy and refreshing, aka the best of both worlds! Service is super friendly and upbeat. The portions are MASSIVE. I got a 9oz and could barely finish it. Creamy mango is my favorite so far, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any flavor here. A super underrated spot in Garden Grove! I've been here twice so far, and I've been impressed both times! I think Dole Whip is a super niche and untapped market, and I'm glad such a place opened near my house. The staff is super friendly, as they let you try some samples and explain the flavors/swirls. Everyone serves the desserts with a smile, and they seem to love their customers. We were recommended the pineapple + orange combo by the owners and was hooked after trying the sample. So happy that you can get THREE flavors here. Especially for people like us that want to try it all. I'm normally a big mango person but after trying the samples, I felt that the orange balances out the pineapple much better. We also added the cherry flavor to our three flavor selection and it was perfect together with the pineapple orange. Pomegranate would have also been a great third flavor to add. We each got sprinkles and coconut flakes on top. So yummy, my friend and I did not talk to each other while enjoying this treat lol. $5 for such generous portions and the extra touches they add to the ice cream makes it a full experience on a hot summer day. It's in a plaza so plenty of parking. Another note I have to mention is that the owners were so kind. I actually had a spill on my very white top and when they saw it they were so proactive about helping me clean it without me even asking. Thank you so much!! We'll be back very soon! read more

Nice small, cozy shop. The owner is really nice and understanding and you really feel comfortable. Great service. The dole whip itself is great. I loved the pineapple dole whip and they have many other flavors, as well as toppings to add to make your very own creation. My sister got a lime and pomegranate. It worked really well if you're looking for a more acidic taste to contrast the sweet. read more

Pineapple Lagoon is literally the goat of dessert spots. It's so cheap for a $5 cup and you get so much! Especially when I don't think I'd really be able to buy it off the shelf and get it myself unlike ice cream. They have bogo pint deals every once in awhile. Also no matter what size of cup you buy, you can get 3 flavors, and i'm pretty sure swirl whatever flavor even if it's not specifically on the menu(?) I's double check but really good flexibility! Service was also awesome with great staff and cute umbrella little topping on the cup. read more

Dang good. For $5, you can get up to 3 separate dole whip flavors in which I got mystery flavor (lime), mango and pineapple. Genuinely it was pretty good and refreshing. Tajin and chamoy were a good addition and touch to it. I got these for an additional 75c per topping. Honestly tho, I was shook with the proces and overall enjoyed my experience here. This place is SO CUTE! My bf found it on IG down the street from his house so we decided to try it. The decor on the inside was soooo tropical and I felt like I was in Hawaii. I liked how many options they had for dole whip along with flavors of the day, and a lot of toppings to choose from. It was delicious! I loved the swirl flavors. Loved This place!! Great vibe and love the music that is played in the shop. They have different dole whip flavors, I believe depending on the day or week. I got the dole whip swirl with pomegranate and pineapple, and made it a float with pineapple fanta. It was amazing, the prices are also great for the amount you're being given. Wow! Forget Disneyland and go support this small business! Way better prices and so many more options plus fun toppings!! I was in the mood for pineapple dole this particular day but this shop offers so many other flavors I wanted them all. I sampled the watermelon and omg I'm definitely coming back for it! Love the fun decor of the shop and the presentation of the soft serve, you can really feel the love that goes into everything they do. The owner was so kind and shared his story behind opening this shop and it was truly inspiring. This place is just pure good vibes and yummy treats, I highly recommend checking them out. read more

I'm SO glad to discover this place when I'm craving dole whips and Disneyland is not an option currently! My boyfriend and I shared a 9 oz Strawberry-Pineapple Swirl and considering the size, it was enough for the both of us to get our fix in! We were able to sample the flavors beforehand, but the best combination has to be the strawberry pineapple. We also found out we were able to choose up to three flavors, combination swirls included! When we went, their swirl machine was down, but the lovely girl helping us just put them side by side. It still tasted amazing and even better if I wanted to focus on one specific flavor more than the other :) read more
