Super happy that an açaí spot opened up near me! This joint has been open for over a year now and I finally gave it a try recently due to a severe craving I had for fresh fruits. Parking: it's a private lot, but it could be a little tight. During the day it's quite busy but typically in the evening it's pretty empty. Service: good, with a smile! No complaints. Ambiance: we did come an hour before closing so it was pretty quiet besides a few walk in patrons. The tables were a little flimsy and felt very wobbly, so be mindful when dining in. It did smell like cleaning chemicals and there's a candle burning in the front which I assume is to deter fruit flies/gnats. Everything was great, price is fair but the only qualm is that the pitaya base tasted like it was "freezer burnt" or tasted like the freezer. I will be back, but I'll skip on the pitaya. read more

One of my top-tier Acai places! The Acai is very good and they have a ton of options for toppings with as much toppings as you'd like. Service was okay as there was only 1 worker but nonetheless the wait wasn't very long at all. There's seating inside with ample space. Amazing acai bowl place! It was recommended to me for being very generous with toppings, and I finally got to experience it for myself. I got a 12 oz ($11) and the value was amazing. I got to sample the different bases first and pick as many as I wanted. I picked Acai, blue pineapple and matcha. Then I added matcha pudding and pumpkin flax granola and almost all of their fruits. I love adding all the seeds (hemp, chia, flax), bee pollen and gogi berries and then cashew butter on top. There were so many toppings that she gave me a separate cup just for toppings. I wasn't able to finish it all in one sitting! I also got a ginger shot ($3), which was BOGO! It was very concentrated and potent, which was great. There were also cookies and banana bread ($2 per slice, $7 per loaf) for sale by the cashier. Everything is very reasonably priced - I'll definitely get some bread next time! Overall, the bases are on the sweeter side so it helps to balance them with the walnut, pumpkin seeds, nut butter and fruits. I liked the matcha base and matcha pudding the best. Next time I'll try the coconut based and passion fruit to see how sweet they are. I liked all the fruits except the pineapples. I was impressed that they also had dried mulberries, which were very sweet, so just a few is good. Can't wait to bring my son here! read more

I was very happy to come here. Generally makes me nervous to try new acai places because so many are stingy on ingredients, but Dear Acai is not! I ordered a custom bowl on DoorDash for pickup and I was so surprised when I was handed an overflowing order - it was delicious. All of the ingredients tasted fresh, including the granola, and they were generous with the almond butter topping. The photo shown is the medium size and it is more than enough for they pack it. The shop is cute with seating available and a large selection of ingredients to choose from. I will definitely come again to try other options. read more

This place deserves more recognition. Especially for the way they pack on your toppings!! They are not stingy whatsoever like other acai places lol. Every time I come here, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I love how they let your acai bowl be your own playground (aka letting you get the get however you want!)! If you want the granola layered between the bases, you got it! I am a foodie, so you KNOW I like to get as many toppings as I can. My bowl usually overfills and I sometimes get the lid on the side because I want to save the employees the hassle of trying to squeeze the lid on. The prices are decent especially since they had their grand opening in August. My first time was in July when there was soft opening and I just knew I had to come back. Call me crazy for craving acai during winter, but you just can't control a girl's craving I love how the displays are a row of smitskis and Sony angels! I personally don't collect them, but I'm not surprised that whenever there's a restock, they are sold out within the same day. My favorite base flavor is ube HANDS DOWN! I haven't seen that flavor at the previous acai places before, so this place became an instant favorite. I would switch up the other two flavors I get. I have not been disappointed with any of the bases or toppings. I understand that fruits have seasons, so there will be times where a base will taste the next time. That's normal with natural fruits, which I don't mind. I couldn't fit my bowl creation in some of the picture captions, so if you're curious- Bases: ube, matcha, and I spontaneously choose the third one Granola: either vanilla or none depending on the day Chia pudding: chocolate and matcha Fruits: everything but pineapple(not a pineapple girly, sorry) Dry toppings: bee pollen, goji berries, and sometimes cacao bits Sauces: almond butter and whichever I'm feeling that day Powders: depending on the time I come in, I choose matcha and/or espresso Thank you so much for creating the best acai bowl building experience! - very clean and simple shop in the little plaza on Century Blvd and Euclid, love that I have a new acai place so close to me now! - parking is plentiful in that lot - some high chairs and tables available inside - super friendly workers, and very attentive to customers, I believe their names were Kayla and Katie 1. Customized 12oz bowl (5/5) - only $7 which is such a good price compared to the other acai shops in OC - bases: acai and passion fruit were both sooo good, although acai is more dense and creamy while passion fruit is lighter and has a more citrus flavor, they still balance out well in the bowl - all the fruits were so fresh and sweet, especially the mango bits (my fav!) - overall would definitely come back for these refreshing treats!! read more

I found out about Dear Acai through IG and was drawn to visit because of the 30% off promotion for July! I ordered the 16oz bowl with a whopping 4 bases (acai, coconut, matcha, and blue pineapple)! For toppings, I got chia hemp granola, strawberries, chia pudding, walnuts, cacao nibs, agave, and peanut butter. Everything was so refreshing and delicious! Perfect treat for the hot summer weather. Hi! I’m the owner of Dear Acai. This is my first restaurant so I’m excited to share with you what’s been in the works for over 2 years. I’ve been a business owner since 2017 and was in the restaurant industry for over 7 years. With one small idea, Dear Acai was finally able to come to life. The Mango Chè leaned more toward a smooth mango purée with fewer fresh mango cubes than expected, while the Thai Chè was exactly what I had hoped for. One thoughtful touch was the presentation--the ice was served separately, allowing the dessert portion to remain generous without being diluted or taking up space in the bowl. The only downside was the seating area along the side wall. Several of the seat cushions appeared quite worn and noticeably dirty, which detracted from the overall dining experience. As a bonus, the loyalty program is easy to use through the Toast app. Simply enter your phone number after purchase to start earning points and rewards.

The fruit base isn't overpowering and helps compliment the sweetness with a hit of fruit flavor rather than obscuring it (out of the two, I prefer strawberry). All in all, a delicious fruit matcha latte and bodes well for their milk tea drinks which I was originally there for. Hope to come by again sometime!
