My go to is the smash avocado and I trade the boba for young coconut. I also like #1 & #4. Great service is always the bonus to great food. Our orders arrived stuffed with yummy bits to the top. Mango halo halo 3/5 - reminded me of a che thai, although for some reason there was a durian flavor in the coconut milk instead of a mango flavor. Which was really confusing and disappointing since I dislike durian very much and Love mango flavor. Service/staffing 3/5 - ordered online close to 7pm for 730 pickup. Arrived at 740 pm and order was not ready and there was a line out the door of people waiting. I love Bambu. Yet another place I wish was closer to home. My son and I are addicted to the fruit addict. It has lots of exotic fruits and pandan jelly but the red tapioca is where it's at. It's pieces of chestnut in tapioca and it's so delicious. This is my first time at this location and it's definitely nicer than their other location. Not sure if the price point reflects that too. Has anyone noticed that their large drink shrunk into a medium in a different brand of plastic cup? I noticed right away so I had to ask. The answer I got was exactly what I thought. The older lady behind the counter just told us that things have changed franchise-wide. She almost became argumentative when I said that they are basically giving us less for more money. And yes! The price went up as well! Is that crazy or what?!? Honestly, if they (the older woman and man) were more friendly, I would overlook the size of the cup, but I have to say that those two don't smile or make you feel welcome. It's so transactional - they never greet us when we get there or when we leave; we usually have to call on them as they are usually in the back even when there aren't any customers. Oh yeah! Don't ever ask for an extra spoon because the old man will look at you as if you just asked for a free drink. He ended up giving me a short white spoon but I wasn't able to eat the jelly and beans and other stuff at the bottom of the cup without getting my fingers wet and sticky. That was not fun! I tried this place for the first time recently and overall had a good experience. They have a fun menu with lots of drinks and desserts that are both yummy and interesting. Everything smells amazing when you walk in, and there are so many tempting options to choose from. The drinks were really good, and the açaí bowls, were fresh and tasty. The halo halo was absolutely scrumptious and definitely a highlight for me. The service was just okay. It wasnt bad, but it could be a bit warmer. A more welcoming vibe when greeting customers would really elevate the experience. That said, I am looking forward to going back and trying more items on the menu. One of my favorites place for desserts! They have a variety of concoctions for smoothies, Chè, fruits mixed with boba and milk tea drinks. The mashed avocado with durian is da bomb! I was craving some Pandan waffles with coconut inside of them. I decided to come here since this was the first place that came into my mind. I walked in here, and ordered what I wanted. Didn't take too long. Went back home, and did the dishes and laundry. They did it in a short period of time. They also informed another customer that the macarons were just out of the freezer so it's soft as long as you don't expose them to higher temperatures. The canvas pictures of the meals are genius, especially people who are visual learners and don't understand Vietnamese. Looks like a hole in a wall from outside but is actually quite nice and spacious inside. Decor modern/trendy with lots of comfy bench seating. I went here for the first time today with my fiancé. We ordered the bambu halo-halo and the sugarcane juice. I thought the halo-halo was pretty good. It had pandan jelly in it and I have to say it was delicious and it was such a nice addition to the halo-halo. Normally, I do not like jackfruit since it tastes a bit strong to me but the jackfruit in my halo-halo was just right. My fiancé's sugarcane drink was also refreshing for a hot summer day! The "large" size is still pretty small for about $10 so I started making my own and it's a lot cheaper. I can afford high prices but I look for value and this place feels like a ripoff. Sometimes they skimp on ingredients which makes me angry or they don't follow directions but it's not bad. Depending on what you order there are places in Little Saigon nearby where you can get much better deals and if I don't want to make my own that's what I prefer to coming here. read more

The decision I tried to make was to avoid coconut meat since I'm not into coconut (but the milk is good though). You order at the kiosk and staff is friendly, we asked if they serve just the ice cream itself (since I saw mango and ube flavored ice cream) but they directed us to packaged ice cream in the freezer at the front. We ordered and got a number, sat down to wait, and once we got our order we decided to take it to go and explore a nearby Asian supermarket! What's a stop to the OC without a stop at Bambu. Known for their amazing Che, my so and I got the number 6. I usually get the #10 but the number 6 has more fruits. We were looking for desserts after OC and lau and this place was super close. The space gave UK vibes and it had the softest most comfortable sofas to enjoy our drinks.
