I ordered several durian avocado drinks. Buy Mama drink get a baby one. It's about $14 for this BOGO. Drove off after I got the drinks. After my first sip, I noticed there was no durian in the baby drink. Called them and was told only the "mama" gets durian, not the "baby". Bummer. The beverage was okay; however, some of the avocado pieces were not ripe yet and were kind of hard and didn't taste creamy. Same with the durian. Not super creamy as it's supposed to be for durian. I guess I just happened to get a batch that wasn't quite ready yet? Overall, it was okay. Would have been 5-star if both fruit were more ripened. read more

I drove here yesterday as I've wanted to get something from this place. I got what I ordered and the items on the menu were all less than $10. Price is good, but the wait was so long. I don't know if it's my ADHD's time blindness issue or what? But it took so long. The drink tastes so good though. Reminded me of that tapioca flavored mochi I ate years ago when I was 16. Went about two weeks ago. Originally came to check out another store inside the market and stumbled across Chubbi. They had a buy 2 get 1 free promo but my boyfriend didn't want a drink. The cashier upsold me and told me to just pay for the promo now, get one drink first, and then come back with the receipt for the other two drinks. I asked her if I had to come back within the same week and she said it could by anytime, even if it's one year later. I hope they honor this because I still haven't received my other two drinks. Overall, the avocado smash was pretty good. It came with coconut flakes that I didn't care too much for. My boyfriend tried a little bit and liked the almonds, I believe, in the drink. The additional of all the extra toppings made the drink interesting but I didn't think it was necessary. You also get a lot for the price as well. Avocados were also fresh. After coming back to redeem my other drinks, I would definitely stop by again to try their other menu items. FYI, the building they're located in is very hot with no AC. So we were sweating waiting as they made the one drink. Which is also why we didn't try any of the restaurants there cause we wouldn't be able to eat comfortably there. The staff clearly said "Yes" when I asked if the Avocado Durian was included. However, when the receipt came out, I was charged: * $9.00 for each "Smashed Avocado King" * +$2.50 for "Add Durian" (each cup!) Even for the free drink, they still charged $2.50 for durian, saying the "free" part was only the avocado base -- not the full drink. So in reality, I paid $27.73 for 3 drinks, meaning nothing was really free. Then I checked Yelp: * The posted price for Smashed Avocado Durian is $9.85, already including durian. * But in-store, they charged $11.50 ($9 + $2.50). When I asked, the staff said, "We can't change the price on Yelp." That's false! any business owner can update their Yelp menu anytime. To make things worse, the cashier never asked about drink size and automatically selected "King" size, making the price higher without my consent. Summary: 1. Price on Yelp actual charged price. 2. "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" promotion is misleading (still charged for topping). 3. Auto-upgraded to "King" without asking. 4. Dishonest explanation about Yelp pricing (you can edit it). We came twice and we had the same experience: we ordered the drinks before we ordered foods, and the drinks came waaaay after we finished our foods. Yeah you're looking at at least 30 minutes to get your drink. All the drinks have fancy looks, but they all taste the same: very bland and full of ice. I came here for their avocado smash BOGO promo since my friend recommended. To be honest, the one cup could easily be shared by 2 adults. I love that they keep their smoothies menu with the season for example sapodilla smoothie is only available for certain months of the year. They really try to provide all the tropical fruit smoothies like in Asia which I miss so much. It was my first time going inside this market and I was surprised like "wow am I in Vietnam right now?" All the shops here have set up just like the traditional Vietnamese market food court. That means no AC. I wonder if they would have some kind of fans for the summer time. You are a business, find a more efficient way to make your smoothies, respect your customers' time. Expecting them to sit around and wait an hour for $9 drinks is absurd. We didn't see anything that capture our eyes until we saw this place. I got strawberry tornado & my mom and uncle got the soursop drinks. The strawberry tornado was very fruity, delicious, and sweet. It has a good taste of the strawberry. The crystal boba was soft, chewy, and not hard. I would give this drink a 5/5 since it has a great strawberry and sweet taste to it. My mom & uncle got the soursop drinks and they both love soursop and it comes with jelly on top. I think they would give it a 5/5 since it's a refreshing and delicious drink. I ordered ambarella fruit tea half sweet, and somehow ended up with a mouthful of syrup; it was unbearably sweet, as if the drink wasn't mixed properly. On top of that, waited for 30 minutes for just one drink only made the experience worse. I threw away the drink after 4 sips and I even tried to mix it up, but it did not help. I tried the Mung Bean Pandan and it had actually some jello bits but it wasn't as strong of a green color or strong of pandan flavor as expected. They were really accommodating in terms of adjusting this to not have whole milk for me. My Dad tried the Avocado Durian and thought it was pretty good and sweetier than expected. My friend had the combo dessert and thought it wasn't bad but also a little too sweet for her taste.
