The drink size is also very generous. They are located in an old supermarket property that has turned into a semi-food court with vendors inside. One of my favorite dessert is smashed avocado paired with DURIAN. I'd saw this place on Yelp and had to stop by. The dessert was delicious and you can't beat their buy 2 get 1 free. I wish it came with durian ice cream but overall it was good. They had a lot of orders so we had to wait 25 mins for our orders. This little shop is located in a small food hall with other food shops. I wished the AC worked better because it was hot! I'll just have to remember to take my drink Togo. read more

Locates inside QT Golden Market. Make sure to ask if your smoothie will include real fresh fruits. Some smoothie like honeydew does not have any real fruits. Buy 2 get 1 free came out to about $18 so $6 each drink approximately. I don't know if I'll pay $9 for a smoothie if they don't have the "promotion". Durian - delicious! I can taste the fruit in this smoothie and it didn't melt as fast. It was so smooth tasting and the durian aroma was heavenly-if you're a durian fan. It's an acquired taste. Mango - this is always a winning option. Yes I could taste real mango in here. The sweetness here was right on! Soursop- acquired taste! My favorite. Make sure you eat with a spoon lol. I could not figure out why I could not drink with a straw. It was because they had real pieces of soursop in there! They included a spoon. It's definitely on the sour side but it's a fruit you don't really get at many other places. Staff was quick on their feet and friendly answering my questions. It was overwhelming with sooooo many pictures and displays ! I almost didn't order because I couldn't decide what I wanted! Parking is plenty in the front. Durian lovers, approach with caution, this one's more avocado with a flirt of sầu riêng! Loopy Loop (inside QT Market Food Court, Garden Grove, CA). Loopy Loop is tucked inside the QT Market food court, sharing open seating with other vendors. Plenty of seats and lots of free parking make it super convenient. I came in after a strong recommendation for their ongoing Buy 2 Get 1 Free promo and went for their top seller: Bơ Dầm Sầu Riêng. Total came out to $21.53 for three, just $7.18 each. The name tells you what you're getting: mostly avocado with a light touch of durian. There were some sliced almonds on top for texture. I couldn't quite tell if they added condensed milk, and I forgot to ask. As a durian lover, I found the avocado-to-durian ratio a bit disappointing, but again, bơ dầm sầu riêng literally means "smashed avocado with durian," and durian is the pricier ingredient. The flavor was fresh and clean, made to order in front of you with fresh fruit. It's important to note that "dầm" (smashed) is not the same as "sinh tố" (smoothie), different vibe and texture. We ate one on the spot and took the rest to go. I asked for ice to be packed between the cups, and they kindly obliged with no extra charge. They held up during a day of errands and an early flight the next morning to Portland. I froze them overnight, thawed one at room temp for 30 minutes, gave it a quick stir, and boom, a perfect thick smoothie treat. Overall, it's a fun and easy way to satisfy a sweet tooth on the go or between meals while in town. The flavors are clearly designed for a Vietnamese palate, and the freshness really shines. If they're still around next time I'm back, I'll definitely swing by to try more! read more

I stumbled upon this little food court inside the market and, while waiting for my food, decided to grab a drink from Loopy Loop. Their menu is pretty extensive, but I went with a classic Vietnamese avocado smoothie. Even though it wasn't busy, the drink took a bit longer than expected which was totally fine. Unfortunately, I was disappointed once I received it. It wasn't the traditional Vietnamese avocado smoothie I'm used to. Instead, it tasted like plain blended avocado: very thick, bland, and lacking sweetness or flavor. It may have just been an off day, or perhaps other drinks on the menu are better. Tiny shop with a ton (almost too many) options, but the TV menu makes it easy to figure out. Drinks are made fresh and taste really good. Theres tons of toppings and variety. I went here since I was craving durian and heard about their specialty avodurian smoothie (avocado and durian smoothie). It's located inside the Golden Market Place right next to another smoothie kiosk that also says avodurian smoothie so don't be confused, read the signs! They had a great deal of buy two, get one free so I had to get 3 avodurian smoothies lol. One smoothie is about ~$7.80 so getting 3 for was less than $6 with the deal. The size of the smoothie was generous. They mix the durian and avocado together so it's blended in the smoothie rather than the picture where the durian is on top so it can be misleading. It was thick and refreshing although I tasted more avocado than durian. I do wish they added more durian to avocado ratio since I mainly tasted avocado and small hints of durian at the end only. The price point and taste quality is great for their smoothies but as a durian lover I was a little disappointed for lack of durian in the avodurian smoothie. If you love avocados more they make a good avocado smoothie. read more

Imagine craving an avocado and durian and not knowing where to go. That's why I appreciate Loopy Loop. It's where all your Vietnamese aunties go when they are craving a smashed avocado durian dessert. The huge damn dessert is $10 each but if you buy 2 then you get one free. I normally just get one because no one I knows appreciated the high quality dessert like I do. They use avocados that are always perfect and the sweetness level is on point. But besides their popular avocado and durian dessert they also have a bunch of other varieties of desserts and drinks. The staff is nice but they honestly like 100 years to make your dessert. Needed to satisfy my avocado and durian smoothie craving so I decided to visit this place after seeing the great reviews. It's located inside the Golden market place which when you walk in is like a food court set up. I had already eaten beforehand so I didn't get the but one get one free deal which I should have, since the portions were huge and you can tell they didnt skimp out on the fruits. It tasted amazing!! I've tried several of their drinks, all of which are good, and the avocado durian smoothie is probably my favorite. Good place to go to if you're getting tired of boba. Asian food court is what I would call this place! A very fun place to come with a group who are interested in trying Vietnamese dishes. They have every type you can think of from rice to noddles to boba. I came here specifically for an avocado smoothie. It was tasty - they put real avocados in, almond milk, a little of condensed milk and blend. This entire building complex has a lot of fun food places to try as well so if you don't like anything is this Asian food court there are other options just a short walk away. Parking can be crazy but the structure is sizable. read more

Cococane is adjacent to a small Asian grocery store: just look for the long line of thirsty folks queued up in a line outside. There are two lines inside. On the left is the walk-in and phone orders. On the right side, is where both the walk-in and web orders are picked up. My wife and I both ordered the large sized strawberry Cococane: Sugarcane, strawberry, coconut and coconut meat. ($9.00 each). We placed our order @1454, and after paying, handed an order number that is called out when your order is ready. I ascertained that this place is really popular and busy, hence our order was not called out until 1514. The wait was worth it! We both took our fist sip and were so happy with the flavor. The drink just hit the spot and immediately quenched our thirst. We will definitely be adding Cocoane to our favorites list for sugarcane drinks!
