We ordered a Black Milk Tea with Boba & Topping Bowl (which included a Flan, Rainbow Jelly, Boba, Grass Jelly and Basil Seeds), a Durian Lava Smoothie, a Watermelon Lychee Green Tea with Lychee Jelly, a Sugarcane Juice without kumquat, a Peach Gum Dessert, a Singapore Silk Tofu with Boba, and a Flan. Everything came out fresh and delicious! My personal favorites were the Durian Lava Smoothie and the Singapore Silk Tofu with Boba! The Durian Lava Smoothie was super smooth and tasty, while the Singapore Silk Tofu with Boba was silky and not too sweet and the boba added an element of sweetness which balanced the dish perfectly. I ordered the popcorn chicken at Cha2Cha and it was a really disappointing experience. The chicken tasted extremely old, like it had been sitting around far too long before being served. The texture was dry and tough, and the flavor was stale, not juicy or freshly cooked like popcorn chicken should be. They also fried the basil, which completely ruined it. Basil is supposed to add a fresh aroma, not taste like burnt oil. It felt like there was no care in how the food was prepared. Nothing tasted fresh, and it honestly made me question how long the ingredients had been sitting there. I am surprised a restaurant would serve food like this. Is there even a manager or owner checking the quality before it goes out to customers? Basic food quality control seems to be missing. For the price they charge, this level of quality is unacceptable. I would not come back unless they seriously improve their freshness and standards. read more

For me it tasted more like shrimp and I was craving pork egg rolls but that was my issue for not asking what kind of egg rolls they had. The sauce was kind of spicy and flavorful. Stumbled upon this small, cute boba shop on accident after missing my turn towards another shop. They had a banner for their three year anniversary saying all drinks were $3.99 so I couldn't resist. The taro blue milk tea is pretty taro forward so you would think it's a taro milk tea without knowing there's buttfly pea in it. I got the milk teas at 50% sweet but they were on the sweeter side so I'd recommend going low if you don't like sweet drinks. Ultimately, really nice small business worth supporting. Rarely am in the area but if I lived nearby I'd been there wayyy too much. Their brown sugar boba milk is only $3.75 and if you want a large there is a $2 upsize charge. Their large size is similar to Tastea, the cup is HUGE. Two people can share a large size of any drinks. My drinks I got 25% sweet, meaning I wanted them less sweet and whoa my milk tea was incredibly sweet!!! I couldn't drink it, I waited until I got home to dilute it with water and milk. Hoping the green Thai tea will turn out better. The popcorn chicken had a very strong scent when I got it. It was hot from the frier and with a taste test it wasn't bad but the odor I'm guessing came from old or stale oil, and definitely old/stale basil Leaves?
