The place is very small and the vibes were off. I sat down and waited and then I got my boba drink. I quickly left like unsatisfied. In everything since not being greeted and then the orders are placed digitally I didn't like that. Like if I'm entering this business and there's humans then the polite thing to do is greet the customers and make them feel welcomed. Or if they need any assistance assist because not everyone knows the changes the business undergoes these days. Maybe share any deals and be more inviting not in silence like if no one is there. Wanted something decaf: the honeydew smoothie was tasty at 75% sweet, and they told me it contains dairy. They offered to substitute with oat milk, but that costs extra, so took my lactaid. They have a daily $4 drink deal so will have to come by again. Prices overall are on the reasonable side these days ( tea under $5 without boba). This place is such a blessing and worthy of the name HOLY! Initial Impression: I came across this spot when I was at a tournament nearby and craving Boba. It was tucked away in a tiny shopping center. When I got inside it was clean and very welcoming! I love that they offer a paint and sip (you can buy an item to paint and the prices start around $5/6+). They also have a gashapon machine that was calling my name with a HUGE Luffy from One Piece. Service: Their staff is incredibly sweet and patient. They take their time to craft the drinks to perfection and that makes them taste even better! They also make a MEAN taiyaki! Overall: Their boba was cooked to perfection! It's rare to find a place that can get the texture just right, but Holy Sheep did it! I had the Iced Ube Latte which was heavenly and a GORGEOUS color! We also ordered Strawberry Slushies and the Vietnamese coffee all of which were received well by our family. The little ones LOVED the bear cups! I was in the area and had 2 hours to kill before my tax appointment. I came over here to enjoy a drink while working on stuff. This place looks nicer in photos. The decor wasn't that great and tables towards the back was just used for storage. It's really not a good look if they care about the aesthetics of their shop. Anyway, I went with something safe as it was my first time here. A thai green milk tea with boba and a pistachio macaroon. The macaroon was pretty good. The taste of my drink was decent, but it was more of a yellow color than the green color that I am used to. Not sure why the color was off from the photos. The boba was very average tasting. The chewiness was there, but flavor tasted like store bought boba I can make at home. Before leaving I did get another drink for my friend who has the tax business that I was visiting after. He said after a long day he needed a refreshing drink and that the one I got him (peach and lychee) was good. Outside parking lot is small and shared but plenty of available parking on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered an ube coffee. It had a purple layer above the coffee. Still an amazing place to grab our favorite drinks! I tend to get the wintermelon MT or the Thai Tea with boba. Super fast, super kind and super convenient! We go about 20-30 minutes to grab our drinks. There is a good amount of space to hang out. Personally I would not study/do work here, but maybe hang out for a few minutes to play some games while enjoying our drinks. Ordered recently was the Thai tea with boba and the mangoneada. I say hidden, because it was hard to see from the lot but I'm sure other people find it just fine lol When we went on a weekend afternoon, it wasn't too busy, so the wait for our drinks and food wasn't too long. My hyperfixation food at the time was Oreo Milktea so I had to try it here. I am also a sucker for cheese foam so it was perfect. Haven't had a new milk tea stop in awhile and getting tired of the usual Omomo, Orobae, and Ding everyday, Holy Sheep is another boba shop in the OC with inexpensive and delicious drinks that doesn't offend the taste buds much. It's definitely for a sweettooth paradise and has plenty of people playing the random board games when I was there. Price wise it's comparable to much larger chain teas like Ding but still provides a good drink. I ordered their Holy Grail with coffee jelly instead of the usual boba since they were out, but no problem, it was a nice drink. Their Holy Grail is their in-house milk tea blend with secret ingredients but imo from how it tastes imo it's a mix of a light roast black tea, creamer, and coffee (at least with the jelly) and very pleasant to drink. I would recommend going for a lower sweetness level like 75% or 50% (lowest here) since I thought 75% was already very sweet. For the price point it's pretty good, especially given how creamy it gets. The coffee jelly was pretty good too and compliments the Holy Grail mix quite well. Compared to other boba shops, Holy Sheep is on the sweeter side with more cream, which imo works out for the drink. I still would choose the boba shops closer to me in Irvine but I do like what Holy Sheep has here. it's sweet but it's a good type of sweet. read more

I was at home counting sheep. It was probably my 5th nap for the day. I finally decided to get up. I did. I actually got up, but just went to the restroom. Holy sheep another boba shop in OC? Of course I have to give it a try! I went during the grand opening week for the BOGO deal. I got the watermelon slush with no syrup, matcha tornado with no sugar, and brown sugar avalanche with less boba so it can be less sweet. They were quite busy and I waited around 30 mins, which is understandable considering they were still new and had a lot of orders at that time (I saw one girl ordering like 12 drinks lol). Hopefully the wait is a lot better now. The watermelon slush was good and refreshing. The matcha tornado can be better. It was still sweet at 0% sugar and i can barely taste matcha. Maybe need to add more matcha powder. The brown sugar avalanche reminded me of Half & Half drink but sweeter. It came with fresh milk, brown sugar, boba, and grass jelly. So good but so sweet! Cute little new boba shop! It's a small location but has good parking and games at every table. We came for the soft opening because it was BOGO. I brought my kids and bought 8 different drinks. We got 50% sugar on all of them and they were all so good! We tried: strawberry tornado, Oreo tornado, peach slushie, brown sugar avalanche, mango lychee fruit tea, rose milk tea, Thai smoothie, and the vanilla chai smoothie. The lids have cute faces on them and my kids enjoyed strategically popping their straws in. What's great is that this place is right by my local dog park so it'll def be my new night time treat spot.
