Guys. This establishment has employed one of the finest employees I've encountered in the food service industry in YEARS. Her name is Megan Cruz, and although we shared a brief interaction, she genuinely changed my life.I walked in and was immediately greeted with her glowing smile and charming charisma. GUYS this girl is GOOD at small talk. It felt like we had been friends for years. She didn't judge my order at all (I just wanted a 1/4 cup of boba... it was just one of those days, haha). She did not make me feel shame because I was just in that moooood lol. On top of that, I asked her to give me numbers for my lotto ticket, and spoiler alert, won 10k. Mic drop. So literally the second I finish writing this review, I'm going over to bring her her tithing to this glorious being, Megan Cruz. Don't forget that name, guys. Seriously. Was pretty quiet since it was a rainy day. Sundeep was quite patient and friendly. Quickly got my order ready to go. I changed things a bit this time got a rose milk tea instead of jasmine green milk tea. But the base of the tea with rose syrup that I choose was green tea. Whenever I'm in Montrose, I normally come to Simplee Boba. I love their Mango Black Tea and ocassionally their Mango Slush and House Milk Tea. I was in the area with my mom for a craft fair and we wanted something sweet to walk around with. It's on the side street of the main street the fair was on Honolulu Ave. The cashier was really friendly and she was super sweet, I got a strawberry matcha with boba and almond milk and my mom got the strawberry banana smoothie. There was one girl that ordered ahead of us so I knew it shouldn't take long, but I was wrong. I also ordered a regular size but the guy made it in a large cup so I'll take it for how long we waited (made up for it). Taste: 7/10 the strawberry matcha was good, boba was a little sticky instead of squishy. 10/10 for the smoothie my mom enjoyed it (no complaints) read more

I was very disappointed with my visit to Simplee Boba today around 4:30 pm. The employee working at the time had a noticeably negative attitude and provided little to no customer service. My family and I felt unwelcome, which completely took away from the experience. On top of that, the shop itself looks run down. It appears to be in the middle of a very cheap remodel that hasn't been completed for months, giving the place an unfinished and neglected feel. I've been here a few times. Mostly if I'm in the area. But it's been a while, and the last time I came in, it was pretty empty. There weren't any customers and no one behind the counter. I guess all the orders are done at the self-service kiosk. I bought a drink with boba. The tea was decent. The boba was meh. Not the best. Not the worst. I asked for less ice, but got about half a cupful of ice. The weirdest part was the service. I don't mind ordering from a kiosk, but after ordering we waited for quite a while on what seemed to be a slow day with no other customers. Looking into back area there only seemed to be one person working: a gentleman who seemed older, perhaps the owner--I don't know. What I do know is that he was staring at his phone while we were waiting for our drinks to be made. I kept waiting since maybe someone else was making our drinks out of view. But eventually I realized there was no one else there, and after getting the guy's attention, he promptly started making our drinks. I'm curious how long we would have waited if I hadn't gotten his attention. If he's the owner, he really doesn't seem to care much about his customers or business. The only redeeming quality was the flavor of the tea. This is one if my daughter's favorite spots but today I went in alone fortunately. I was early to pick up my son from school and was craving something cold to offset the triple digit temperature outside. As soon as I walked in, I couldn't help but hear the "music" playing in the shop. My first time since they've changed owners. The place looks similar with nice clean set up. Ordered their kiwi slush and honeydew slush. Both were refreshing. My only drawback was they have a trash bin below the pick up counter. I had to reach in to throw out my straw wrappers. When getting up from under the counter, I bumped my head pretty badly on the edge of the sharp metal counter leaving a huge bump on the top of my head. Visited July 4th, 2016 Formally Harvest Juice I was a little surprised that Harvest Juice no longer is open, but I was thrilled to see that it is now a boba place! The boba tasted good and it was fresh. The décor changed a little and it was clean, comfortable, and inviting. They still have a few board games there that you can play. They also still have one parking spot located on the side of the building, but it still is labeled as Harvest Juice. They really should change that. There is plenty of metered street parking.
