This. Place. Is. Adorable! We specifically drove here after a staycation in Newport Beach and we so were glad we did! Upon entering, we were greeted right away and were asked if we had any questions. My daughter immediately saw the cat and said she wanted that one. She chose the Milk & Oreo gelato as the base and asked if she could get it in a cone. Within minutes, it was in her hand and was devoured minutes after that and I was only able to get a small bite! It was definitely tasty! Will have to get one for myself next time. When we went, there were so many families coming into the store and everyone got a warm welcome. The locals love this place and so do we.
If you're looking for a dessert that is almost too cute to eat, Eiswelt Gelato is an absolute must-visit. I stopped by and had to try the "Alien Baby" (Baby Yoda) cone, and it did not disappoint! The shop is famous for its handcrafted character scoops. Seeing the staff transform a regular scoop of gelato into a masterpiece with ears and eyes in just a few minutes is like watching edible art come to life. I went with a green base to keep the Baby Yoda theme authentic. They offer a few great green options like: * Pistachio * Matcha I went with pandan it's a coconut flavor and the prices are amazing $5.50

I stopped by late one night to try their pandan and jasmine milk tea gelato and got it in the shape of a dog, but there are plenty of other animals or characters you can choose. Aesthetics aside, the pandan and jasmine flavors were very delicious. Sweet and delicious, but still light and refreshing. I would come back again to try their other flavors and other fun characters/animals they offer.

Stumbled on this quirky little gelato shop after having a delicious burger down the street. There was a good selection of flavors. You will find basics like vanilla and chocolate, but also fun unexpected options like rose lemonade and mango passion fruit. We had chocolate with monkey design and milk w/Oreo with a dog design. It was so fun and yummy.
A cool ice cream shop to visit. They have several ice creations that the staff can make as you order. Ordered the piggies for ice cream. Picked sesame and jasmine tea. Both flavors were tasty not super sweet. The shop was small with a few indoor seating to eat up the ice cream before it melted.
cute designs and the gelato isn't great but it's still good! i still enjoyed my time here and my sweet treat. there was an kind old man working and he treated me nicely with a sense that he enjoyed making the cute icecream, which warmed my heart. also, they give u a waffle cone upon request without any extra costs! nice treat with cheap costs
I love their cute designs! I think this is such a fun and interesting concept. I thought the gelato was good but not the best. I would not go out of my way to come here but I was eating Vietnamese next door. I think kids would really love this place. They also had a Labubu monster ice cream which was so precious!

I saw this place on yelp couple months ago when my boyfriend and I wanted to get some gelato late at night, but we weren't able to until I came here with my sister on our way back from the outlets at orange. The heat got to us real fast, so we thought ice cream will help cool our body down. She got the cherry blossom strawberry chicken and I got the matcha pig. It was very tasty and delicious! We both finished them in minutes. Will definitely come here again! read more

Location - right in the middle of Little Saigon, good plaza with plenty of parking. I haven't been back here in years, but finally came back and brought a friend. He got a pig with piglet in butter pecan and milk & oreo flavors, and I got the rose shaped one in black sesame, Pandan mung bean coconut, taro coconut, and durian. Gelato itself is delicious (texture, flavor, sweetness level, everything hits the spot!), I love the selection and variety of all the flavors and all the flavors were delicious too! Prices were fair too, not insanely jacked up and overpriced - especially since I love the unique characters too, which are absolutely adorable! Their attention to detail is amazing! Service is not great though. Only reason I docked a star. They feed into the stereotype of the Vietnamese being cheapskates. They're very stingy with samples - and I'm a paying customer, my friend and I were each getting one. I had tried Pandan mung bean coconut, black sesame, and when I asked for Durian was when the guy started making comments so I had to go ahead and order (didn't like that though). I wanted the rose (since it allowed 4 flavors), and the guy there warned me how the rose won't look that pretty with 4 colors - I said that's fine, I want a lot of flavor options. Also note that the staff speaks fluent Viet - I spoke to them in Viet (southern region accent). Overall my friend and I had a good experience here. We'd still recommend them and will likely come back! read more

My husband found this place on yelp and I decided to take my daughter. It's a cute little shop in the corner of the plaza. My daughter loved all the animal options. Probably more than the Gelato. She simply couldn't pick one so I let her pick two. The workers were nice but you can see them sitting and talking in the back area since there's no door to the back. They were attentive and service was quick. There's a couple tables inside to sit and enjoy your Gelato. Prices started at $5.50. Worth a try. read more

The ice cream here has very fresh Asian flavors and they can build it into different cute shapes! I got the black sesame with Jasmine tea in the piggy shape, it's super cute! It's in a shopping center with lots of parking. read more

Tucked away around the other plaza from T&K plaza. We actually found this on Yelp when we didn't want any desserts from T&K and just wanted icecream on a rainy day. They have been here since a long time now and have been known for their animal character gelato ice cream. The kids from our group loved the animal faces gelato. The adults opted for normal one scoop cone or cup. Overall good icecream and they have few tables indoor for conversations. read more
I would come here often after school because of the cute animals. My go to flavors are the black sesame, hazelnut, and berry. However, every other flavor are delicious in their own ways! I like how you can customize which flavor goes where. The texture is so creamy and not too sweet. The workers here are patient as there are so many flavors to choose from and different ways to get your gelato. I like how it's cozy inside and it only gets crowded later on in the day/night. Such a throwback and nostalgic place for me!! They are so sweet and have the cutest ice creams! My friends and I always get our sweet treat here after eating around Bolsa. They let you have samples of the ice cream and have good recs if you're indecisive. It's a bit small inside, but outside has tables where we usually hang out. Parking can get tough if the plaza is busy. They tend to have seasonal animals, so keep an eye out for it!!! read more

I was in the area and realized this place was on my list This place is located In a pretty large shopping area with tons of free parking and other businesses (one of my favorite places, September is also in this parking lot) The pros They offered a pretty good variety of different flavors I think the prices are extremely reasonable. These are cute little pieces of art you get to eat lol They offer free private parking The gelato was actually extremely fresh tasting The customer service was great! The man behind the counter was so helpful. I realllllly wanted a certain flavor but it didn't really go with the character I wanted. He was really helpful at giving out suggestions on what would look good and what flavors go the best with the certain characters They have a few seats inside and to be honest I think this place is great for kids and adults. Who doesn't want a cute shaped scoop of gelato made into a little pig or unicorn. If I had to say, the pistachio gelato was extremely good (if I had to pick just one. But the other flavors I tried were great as well) Cons- not being able to try all the cute animals available and not being able to eat all the different flavors they offer. (I think it's safe to say the pros outweigh the cons lol) This is definitely one of those places you can come to multiple times because they offer so many cute animal shapes. So I will 1000000 percent be back to try some more. I can't wait to bring my friends daughter here for her birthday in January I did notice they had other items and not just gelato. They have a part of their menu blacked out where they used to have waffles and etc. so it seems they just have strictly gelato now Good luck picking what flavor and character to get! read more
I was worried this place was going to be all hype, but it was actually really delicious! I had the Vietnamese coffee and red velvet flavors made into a cutie dog and loved it. My boyfriend shared with me and also really enjoyed it. Would definitely go back for more! read more

SO CUTE! Gelato in cute animals??? Sign me up! This is a great spot for the entire family and friends. There are so many flavors to choose from. The bunny is lychee and the pikachu is chocolate. We also did scoop of jasmine milk tea and ube plus salted caramel. All flavors different but amazing in their own ways. Service was top tier and amazing, so sweet and funny with interacting and making sure everyone was happy! Perfect sweet treat or end to family dinner! read more

Today I gave this place a go and honestly they did not disappoint. The vibe is chill and nice, very calm and peaceful. But the main thing is their lovely little ice cream, it's not just cute but also delicious and the taste is super true to the flavor. I had taro coconut, Vietnamese coffee, Vietnamese yogurt, Jasmine tea and green tea. It's honestly one of the best flavors I've had because it is so true to taste. Especially that Vietnamese coffee, it really hit you right in the tongue. The gentleman who served us was also very supportive, let us try all the flavors before we actually buy it. One last thing is the craftsmanship, I know this is nothing crazy but the idea is so cute, it makes this visit a super fun experience for us. Definitely going back for more! read more

Good ol' Eiswelt, never fails satisfy my cravings. After all of these years, Eiswelt still makes the best Durian gelato in my books. Their gelato always passes the standard Asian test--not too sweet. The durian flavor, because it's my favorite here, is creamy but not heavy. A plus for me is the color of the gelato--it isn't yellow! We know no durian gelato should be yellow just because durian itself is yellow. 10/10 always! read more

Super super cute place with picture perfect gelato!! This place is sooo great if you're looking for tasty gelato that you can take cute pictures of. The worker and owner working when I went were super friendly. They let us sample many of the flavors before deciding on one. I went with the hazelnut shaped like a dragon. It comes with your original flavor of choice plus a very small scoop of the same flavor or a bonus flavor--I went with the oreo cookies and cream. Everything about this place is so cute. Would definitely recommend it. Plenty of parking in their big parking lot plaza. read more

Very cute!! They have a bunch of animals to choose from. And decent Asian-inspired flavors, including milk tea, lychee, and the ones we got: pandan mung bean coconut and taro coconut. The marshmallows on my piggies were stale, but I just treated them as inedible decoration. Service was a bit slow considering there were only two parties ahead of us but they seem very sweet and let you try flavors! read more
I came here for dessert after having dinner at Quan Nhii. Ambiance Nothing visually special, but still very endearing and genuine. It had that mom-and-pop vibe that I'm a sucker for. Service Our interaction was brief, but the cashier was friendly. Food I really enjoyed my ice cream! My favorite was the jasmine milk tea, and my mom's favorite was the durian. The flavors were creative and delicious, and the scoops were so cute! I would definitely come back! read more
Eiswelt isn't your typical gelato spot. It's an artist's palette for imagination! Ever thought you'd get a not only amazing in taste, but also a Pikachu or pig or bear shaped gelato? Well, look no further! I'm a sucker for sorbet or tarty flavored gelatos and the mango flavor exceeded my cravings. The workers are super awesome and this family owned spot really takes pride in its gelato! Though the inside is a bit small, it's located in a cozy plaza and grab-n-go caps are always an option. BEWARE the shop is closed August 3rd - 11th! I was super excited to try this place for the first time, but unfortunately for me, I drove for miles to find the shop closed, despite the hours of operation being listed as regular hours on Yelp, Google Maps, and their Instagram. It would've been nice if they communicated their temporary closure online. I love that the family is taking time off to enjoy a vacation but it would've been convenient to adjust their hours online. What can I say. This place is kinda hidden! I didn't even know it existed. I mean it's a gelato shop. It's kinda quick service and pretty friendly service. They let you sample flavors :))). The inside had some seating inside. Will say it's a small shop but it's perfect for a grab and go. Will say i give it an addition to making the gelato to cute animals!!!!! So cute and pic worthy!!! Will def come again and maybe try to do all ten characters lolz. read more
This is a cute ice cream place where you choose an animal character and pick the ice cream flavors you want. They do let you sample different flavors here to make your choices. Each sample they scooped was very tiny, so it was hard to judge the taste, but at least they offered it. I picked Thai Tea, Vietnamese Coffee, and Taro. Everything tasted exactly how it should be. The Vietnamese Coffee was quite strong. I like it. This is a nice experience for both kids and adults. read more

After dinner we were brought here for some ice cream. Its a small ice cream shop that you would easily walk by and miss it if you weren't paying attention. Inside there are limited seating. And maybe 1 table outside to sit at. But the creativity this place brings is pretty amazing. They are able to create different animal creations with scoops ofnice cream. Then with some chocolate and marshmallows they bring the creation to life. The actual ice cream too wasent bad at all either!! I got the panda bear which involves up to 3 flavors. I had the pendant ice cream as the main one. Then the ears were made of a smaller scoop of lychee and mango. Not excessively sweet but flavorful. Lychee was really good. Light and refreshing. Should've made that the main scoop. Mango flavor was muted. And the pandan flavor was light. But they all worked together really well. I would definitely recommend this place. As the designs are unique and different but also very cute. The ice cream is really good. And they have a whole bunch of other tasty desserts as well. The pictures are definitely instagram worthy. And the taste is great too!! read more
