Each drink had a special opening on the side where you can open to reveal your Hello Kitty surprise. We wanted to preserve our Hello Kitty cups, so we pulled our surprise from the cup by removing the drink on top. I ordered the honey lemon green tea (unsweetened since it already had honey) and liked my refreshing drink. My friend ordered a taro drink and didn't really care for hers since taro powder was used instead of fresh taro paste. The mochi donuts were really beautifully decorated and tasted incredibly yummy! Located in a small strip plaza. This place has an awesome design and very picture friendly inside. Easy to order menu. The lady working inside is super nice and friendly. We got a 3 pack mochi donut which was cookies and cream and match. These donuts were the truth. Very soft, crunchy texture, and warm. It was not too sweet or too bland but just right. I couldn't get over how good they were. I give it a solid 5/5. The drinks were the Vietnamese matcha coffee and the brown sugar milk tea. Both drinks were made to perfection. You have to try it. I had three different pieces of donut and a taro boba. From the taste and feeling, I think they use powder for the taro drink, with no natural taro ingredients. Making it not different from many other general stores that offer this menu. The boba was made right and of good texture and quality. I've had my fair share of mochi donuts and Mochi Dough did not disappoint. When I came they had about 6 different flavors on display. I asked if they had an oreo one because I didn't see it out and they said they had it hiding in the back. I went with that. I like that you can order donuts individually here and you're not forced to buy a pack of 3 or more like other mochi donut spots. My mochi donut was good but definitely on the more very sweet side. I enjoyed it. The store itself is very girlie and cute with their pink floral wall and pink horse. I just wish they had a place to sit because there is not chairs, tables or bench. I've tried a lot of mochi doughnuts, & Mochi Dough is still the best by far! Every bite is perfectly chewy & delicious, I finish them so quickly! Not too sweet, & the frostings are yummy & not too sweet or artificial tasting, except for some of the toppings (I could do without the sprinkles & other edible toppings). I know some people might like them because they're pretty, but to me it's just extra sugar & not necessary. Definitely get at least a few, trust me, you'll be sad if you only get one when you realise it's gone in like a minute! They have a pretty good selection of flavors, & i love the matcha (actually a good quality tasting matcha flavor), strawberry, sesame, & taro although i think the taro could be better if it was more of a real taro taste. Some flavors I wish they had are blueberry & guava. I do wish they were a little cheaper, as they are quite pricey for donuts at $3.75 each & it's my favorite dessert to take for a party. Unlike competing spots with rather plain-looking mochi donuts, the ones here are neatly decorated and can serve as decorations themselves; they were almost too pretty to eat! They also offer 10 yen coin bread. This popular snack from Japan is hard to come by out here so it's nice to have a place that makes them. They are basically crispy waffles filled with mozzarella cheese. Truly a satisfying savory snack! What I appreciate about this place is that they make their donuts fresh throughout the day. The ladies working behind the counter were kind and had a smile on for every customer that came in.
