I often go to this building for the market and restaurants a couple of times a week. I decided to check out this small tea shop since I've seen it many times. I just tried a drink couple days ago and was totally disappointed with the coffee. It was super light, bland, lacking in flavor, and not as delicious as I thought. I love Tastea! They've really great appetizers that seem like they're from a 5 Star restaurant, I got the Calamari and Buddha fries altogether were out of this world! Great for when you're starving cause you get a generous amount and they've different seasonings to the fries, I choose Sour Cream and Onion. I'm not just saying this as just a customer but I was formerly employed at Tastea back then when things were done with standards. I ordered a large honeydew milk tea with boba.. they gave me a regular size. I also order a glimpse of heaven split into 2 cups with boba for my kids. - boba wasn't added to the bill Back then when I worked there, if the drinks weren't right it would be fixed correctly and no charge since customer satisfaction used to be priority at Tastea. & when it was fixed, it would be fixed correctly. Not just dumped on the top of the drinks so that it would be hard for customers to even drink. I had no issue with paying .80 for the boba, I get it times are hard. But at least put it at the bottom of a new cup and pour in the mistake that you made. Do better Tastea. Or at least train your employees right. read more

I've been to this place a couple of times. This is my FAVORITE boba place in the OC area HANDS DOWN. The strawberry ecstasy is delicious and good amount of less sweet for me. My boyfriend and I love their lychee freeze since we're both a big fan of lychee. My boyfriend tried the lychee freeze the first time and he instantly loved it. The passion attraction is delicious and it consist with boba and coconut jelly. The peach oolong tea was okay- I would recommend their slushy or teas. Tastea has always been a solid boba option when you need a boba fix. They have a huge menu to choose from and include different snacks to much on. I like how they allow you to switch out the teas you want the drink to be made with. I have gotten the strawberry milk tea plenty of times but oddly, the color is never consistent. The strawberry milk tea was more grey tone than a bright pink color. Their boba is always spot on and so soft. I love Tastea drinks there are so many great combos. I also love the option to get a 32 oz size drink. It is great for sharing! They have a good matcha thai tea, lychee freeze (lychee slushy), matcha strawberry milk tea, krypteanite (matcha smoothie), and honey boba. But beware the slushy is usually melted when they hand it to you and melts pretty instantly. All of the ice blended drinks melt pretty quickly. The matcha is strong and will keep you up at night. Lychee freeze is my favorite drink it comes with lychee jelly and lychee bits you just have to drink it really fast. This location is always a hit or miss. Might be due to the holidays, but one of the employee came off rude and definitely did not want to be there. Understandable.
