The drinks vary from pretty good to not great 2/5 for the coconut juice, tastes a lot like the canned coconut juice but w sugar added 4/5 for the tropical tea, decently refreshing. Good taste and aroma 3/5 for the salty oolong drink, wish the tea flavor was more pronounced but I enjoy the cream. The oolong is very weak. 4/5 for the tiger mochi tea. I really love the textures and flavors going on Unique enough drinks, right next to Asian garden mall, and it's pretty tasty. Won't go out of my way to go here but I'm happy to swing by when I'm in the area and have a hankering for milk tea. Bonus points bc I love the couch they have next to the entrance and the servers are really friendly.

Need a break after your 90 minute wait before/after dim sum at Seafood Cove II (upstairs)? Ready for drinks after shopping at Asian Garden Mall (across the street)? Use a boost after A Dong supermarket shopping (a few doors down)? Head straight to Chill! Absolutely the best Einspanner Matcha in town. The sweet cream on top is so good, you will not want to mix it (so you get a taste with every sip). I was lucky to catch the owner/matcha expert Trang in the shop on my visit this weekend; she's amazing! Teeny shop with some comfy sofa seating if you can grab it. Parking in this plaza is a challenge, but don't give up. It's so big, and so much is going on, there are as many people leaving as coming. Don't sleep on this place -- absolutely the friendliest and tastiest boba shop in the OC.

Parking wasn't bad and I was quite literally the only person in the place haha. But the guy who took my order was super chill and efficient and I was in and out of there in maybe 3 minutes. The menu looked super good but I was basic and got a double matcha. All drinks are made with oat milk (for my fellow lactose intolerant peeps). The drinks are a great size for the price imo and it was high quality and very tasty. I'm super impressed!!!

Sometimes you want something other than coffee in the morning, and this place absolutely delivers. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with comfortable seating, great music, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Everything feels thoughtfully curated without being overdone. I ordered the Lychee Oolong Tea, and it was incredibly refreshing. The tea flavor came through beautifully, and it wasn't overloaded with sweetness like so many other boba drinks. I also tried the Pandan Matcha, which was perfectly balanced. The earthy matcha and subtle pandan complemented each other so well, and again, it wasn't overly sweet. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back and am so happy to have an early-opening boba spot in the neighborhood.
Just doordashed this Double matcha and It is So GOOD that I have to write this review ASAP. Omg, they nailed it. I had tried Double matcha many many places and there has only been one place that I gave 10/10. And now Chill Coffee, second place, that Im gladly to give 10/10 for their recipe. Located across from the Asian Garden Mall, with tons of coffee and tea shops in every corner, chill coffee stood out to me since they have a variety of matcha and coffee. To my surprise, coffee was strong, smooth, and rich. Matcha was perfectly balanced with milk and matcha ratio. I also loved that it came in a 24 oz cup for about $7. They also have a an option to add as much espresso free of charge. I love strong coffee, so I don't know about adding an additional shot. Probably if anyone wants to stay awake all day and night. The staff that took my order is very friendly and helpful. He knows the menu very well, and can adjust to your preferences.
I got a salty matcha latte today and it was really well made and presentation on point. The guy working was really friendly and his customer service felt genuine and not just transactional! Price was fair and menu had lots to choose from.

Service was very attentive and friendly. Boba tasted like mochi balls. Got three drinks and sweetness level is pretty good. I got half sweet so drinks were not sweet at all. Milk tea is good. Not too much milk and not ok much tea. Lychee green tea is average. Not premium but decent snd refreshing.

We visited Chill Coffee around 9:45 am on a Friday and it wasn't busy at all. The shop itself is really cute, and the staff was kind. It's located in a fairly busy plaza, but since we came early, we had no problem finding parking. We ordered the Pandan Matcha, which came in a pretty generous-sized cup. It was good and had a nice flavor, but it didn't really stand out enough for me to go out of my way for. There are so many solid matcha spots throughout Orange County, and I think Chill Coffee fits well into that category. It's a good option if you're already in the area, and that's probably when I'd see myself coming back. read more

i lowkey wanna gatekeep this place because i dont want it to get packed and parking is already bad, but this place deserves recognition!!! trust me, i have tried almost every coffee shop or matcha place in oc and chill coffee has never failed me. i always get the double matcha with 50% sugar and it always hits the spot. inside is very small so i wouldn't recommend studying/working here. but the service is pretty quick so if you want a quick matcha fix that is REALLY good, come here!!!! read more

I had to come back and share my love for @chillcoffee001. I've had their coffee, teas and matcha. My favorite is their coffee and matcha drinks. Banana coffee: This place serves Vietnamese coffee. I love my sweet, strong coffee so the banana coffee was perfectly addicting. If you love banana, this one's for you. 9/10 Egg coffee: This place gives a huge egg cream to coffee ratio. My coffee was so creamy after this. I love that once the ice melted, my drink was still good. 8.5/10 Blueberry matcha: I've had their double matcha before (I loved it! ) and I'm glad I chose this one this time. The blueberry and matcha amount was not overpowered by the milk. It was on the sweeter side so if you like less sweet ask for the adjustment. Or be like me and enjoy the sweetness so that once the ice melts it's still good 8/10 Chill Coffee is located in the plaza across from Asian Garden Mall. It's on the first floor below Seafood Cove 2. I went on a weekday and parking was not an issue but I know that plaza can get busy. They had a good amount of tables and chairs to catch up with friends over boba. I'll be coming back! read more

This exact space has seen a couple businesses come and go, so I was a little skeptical of this spot. I'm a big coffee person, and Viet coffee in OC has quite the competition. I came right when they opened, and ordered a matcha coffee, so it's their Viet coffee with a matcha cream on top. It was super strong, which is my requirement, and the matcha cream wasn't too sweet! It got me through my day, since I was getting my car serviced on Moran. Service was friendly and efficient, though I wish they had kiosks to order. read more

Tried the kumquat honey lemon tea from Chill Coffee and it was actually really refreshing. Got it less sweet, which was definitely the move -- still has a nice natural sweetness from the honey without being overpowering. Flavor-wise, it's bright and citrusy with a slight bitterness from the kumquat, balanced out well by the honey. Doesn't taste artificial or syrupy like some places. The passion fruit puree with seeds at the bottom adds a tangy punch and a little crunch, which makes the drink more interesting texture-wise. Portion size is solid and feels worth it for the price. Overall a good option if you want something light and refreshing instead of a heavy milk tea. Drink came fast, friendly staff. I'd get it again, especially on a hot day. read more

Vibes were positive but the drink itself was way too sweet. I asked for less sweet but it was still really sweet. The matcha itself lacked depth but that might be cause it was overpowered by the sugar. In my opinion, this place is more vibes than quality. Having said that, I'd still be down to try again...it's an okay spot to chill at. read more

Are there temporary pick up parking spaces outside the coffee shop?
Hi Peter. Yes there are a total of 3 temporary (15 minutes) parking spaces outside our shop. You can park in those spaces while picking up your drinks.
Parking is limited in the plaza, can you provide me with parking instruction?
Parking can be tight in our plaza, so we recommend parking in the adjacent lot by Lee’s Sandwiches—just a 1-minute walk away with plenty of space. While signs mention a 20-minute limit, it’s not enforced unless you park overnight.
