Only problem is there isn't outlets at all the sitting spots. Only two places have outlets. Well decorated interior from the moment you walk in, to the restroom in the back. Appreciate how clean this place is. Love the type of chill music they play. It's like a little hidden gem! Beverages/Service: lots of options! We tried their orange series because that's their signature. The orange was definitely a forward flavor so paired with the hojicha, it was like orange chocolate. Whereas it overpowered the matcha flavor. They want to guarantee satisfaction so they told us they'd remake it. While it's not my preference, it's not bad, so I kept mine. The space was very high-end and upscale; I felt so comfortable on the furniture just relaxing. This makes it a great place to work, hang out, or honestly just to be there. I found the barista to be especially attentive, helpful, and polite. As for the drinks, I do think they are a little bit overpriced. I ordered the vanilla latte which was adequate but not outstanding in any meaningful way. It was more expensive than the average coffee shop in the area but at least it was not bad coffee. A cute spot, with no wait and really friendly staff! They have a pretty large menu of drinks that I haven't tried and it was my first time at the shop. I tried their pear matcha einspanner which sounded really great in theory and was described as one of their most popular items, but the reality wasn't quite what I was envisioning. The pear juice, which made up of 75% of the drink, was too sweet for my preference and I suspect likely store bought. And while titled as a matcha beverage the only part of the drink with matcha was the cream top portion which was the remaining 25%. While it wasn't a drink I would turn my nose at, I wouldn't order it again. I will say, they had Aesop soap and hand lotion in the bathroom which was a nice lil touch that I really liked. All in all, I think I'd be willing to give this spot another chance but I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way to revisit. Not opposed but just couldn't be bothered. read more

I have been coming here to get my supply of hojicha and matcha powder. And when I'm there I often get my hojicha tea latte hot with half milk, half almond,half sweet. I recently got obsessed with Hojicha after learning what it is and you can't find good Hojicha easily and I have tried. Enter Dex coffee, the quality of their ingredients are superb, with my Hojicha container and a cute metal spoon I'm all set to make my hot beverage at home. I'm so happy they're open til 8 on a Friday night because the Classic Einspanner Latte with oatmilk and cream topper did not disappoint. So tasty! What an actual treat Dex coffee is. I must say that they're different combinations like orange cream top and Asian pear is something that drew me to their location to begin with. Finally got a chance to check this place out since it's nearby. There was a bunch of people just studying and relaxing which was pretty cool. Luckily there was no line on a Saturday afternoon. I got the Dex matcha delight with oat milk and less ice. I like how strong the matcha drink is, but you can still taste some of the cinnamon. For the price of the drink it's a bit sad how much you get. It makes me wonder how much ice they use by default and how that could really dilute the drink. I also got the vanilla latte which was pretty good and strong. Same story with the amount you get. I posted some photos as a reference after just taking a sip to try both drinks. Staff was nice and the interior was clean. Parking is spacious and was not much of an issue. Overall, this is place is about a 3.5 star for me. I've been to a bunch of other coffee shops with a similar flavor profile and quality, but at a better price point. Hands down one of the best coffee places I have been to. Not only are staff very nice, they also know exactly what is on their menu. I hope that they will expand and open closer to where I live. The vibe, the atmosphere is amazing, no wonder all the seats were taken. Everyone that walked in seems like they were regulars by the way the staff interacted with them. The matcha here is the absolute MUST. After tasting how amazing it was the manager told me they put a TON of matcha compared to any other competitors. It really stands out! I can't wait to try pear matcha in the future. I had very hard time choosing between this and coconut. They said coconut was less sweet. It was delicious. I'm so glad I stopped by this coffee shop to check it out. The shop is located inside a busy plaza, since there's Crunch gym nearby. So, parking can be kind of tricky to find. However since my friend and I had our dogs with us, we didn't sit inside. There are outside chairs if you don't want to sit inside. I ordered a iced einspanner orange latte. Upon entering Dex Coffee I knew this place wouldn't disappoint! The interior has this warming home vibe to it, the wooden slats on the walls give a Japandi look to it. There was people studying and on their laptops which is always a good sign, it was relaxing to be in there. The service was extremely friendly and nice, and the owner was nice enough to tell me where he got those wooden slats from. We ordered a latte and the einspanner.
