Very cute little spot, very nice service. Bathroom was clean and it's a tricky flush button lol. I love that it was a cozy entrance but then there's stairs up to a very large chilling area, with a bunch of chairs, tables, sofa chairs. I got the matcha meadow, soft vanilla and lavender notes. I enjoyed it it was light and not too sweet. I want to come back and try their other matchas and pastries.
Finally checked out Solid Coffee Roasters. The shop itself is super cute with two floor which is great for studying or just chilling. A really nice touch I haven't seen elsewhere is that the workers actually walk your drinks to your table for you. I tried two drinks: Crème Bru-Latte (7.5/10): Really solid latte and not too sweet. The description mentioned a torched brown sugar top; mine didn't have it, but that might have been because I ordered it iced. Still good though :) Strawberry Matcha (4/10) : This one was a bit of a letdown as it mostly just tasted like milk and lacked that strong matcha or strawberry flavor. Since there are so many popular shops right here, parking can be a bit difficult to get near their shop. Even though the matcha wasn't my favorite, the service and the atmosphere are great. I'm always open to trying new things, so I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu
Very cool layout with a loft upstairs great for studying. I like the interior design choices and it's nice and quiet. The matcha is on the grassier/bitter side and it didn't pair well with the yuzu sparkling as I would've expected. The Vietnamese cold brew was good but a bit underwhelming in coffee flavor.
As the name suggests, this places brews a very good cup of coffee. It's located in a fairly popular corner of Warner and Beach. I came on a Friday morning around 8 am so there was ample parking. A clean modern vibe and a comfortable seating area above. Although there are many flavored coffee drinks on the menu, one can't really tell if the coffee is good until you drink it black. My drip was surprisingly good. I like my coffee strong and I'm biased towards light to medium roasts. I will double check on the bean used for the drip. Maybe even pick up a bag. I am on my way to a breakfast cafe to meet some friends this morning so I intend to bring my coffee with me. Most restaurants don't serve very good coffee :). This coffee detour was a good idea.

Vibe: Casual laid back with friendly servers. A quiet small study area upstairs with a few tables. Coffee: Single Origin and Blend bags for sale. Casa Keopi is their house blend sold to other businesses. Their Ethiopian single origin is light roasted, fruit forward, and well balanced. Blueberry Latte: (5/5) if made by one female employee. Knows her way around the steamer. It has dried blueberries on top. Ask for an extra shot and you'll be perked right up for the day. Definitely a spot to check out if you're nearby.

I visited on a weekday afternoon and found plenty of parking in their lot (but I can see how it could get packed during busier times). The first-floor interior is small, just enough room for ordering, but there is second-floor seating and several tables outside under cover. I didn't go upstairs so not sure how much seating is up there. I ordered a hot vanilla latte. They had a plentiful pastry case which made making a selection difficult since everything looked so good. Even though their croissants and donuts looked yummy, I decided on a large chocolate chip cookie. I sat outside and relaxed. The latte was exceptionally great thanks to a perfect roast. The vanilla was light but exactly enough not to overpower the delicious flavor of the coffee. The cookie was also flawless, thin, fresh, and slightly crisp with chocolate chips in every bite. Considering the friendly service and comparable pricing, this place gets a SOLID 5 stars.
CASH/Credit/Apple pay accepted. Beside the Loft restaurant and in the Mariners Church parking Plaza. Located on the cross street of Beach and Warner directly across Wahoo's. Solid coffee makes good coffee and Matcha. The varieties they chose are peoples' favorites from Banana, Strawberry, etc. They do their flavors by grams, therefore their focus is more on the coffee or matcha taste not being overtaken. If you prefer more of a flavoring, ask them to increase it from their basic 45grams to maybe much more to taste the Banana or Strawberry flavor. Milk adjustments are available for those lactose intolerant as I am. They have pastries as well such as bagel with cream cheese alongside Jen's Gluten Free donuts which is a must try. The servers have been personable and great. My favorite servers seem to be the morning people who are there to greet you at every Sunday morning 8am. Definitely enjoy going here before Mariners church starts at 8:30am. The lines get long, so if you need to go to service at 8:30am I would be here at 8am because it can take about 20 minutes due to online orders and customers already there and it's only 1 server in the morning. This is Solid Coffee's second location with the first being in Artesia. Such a cute place to get some work done or study! I like how there is a second floor with plenty of seating and quite a few outlets too. I def would be back as it's quite quiet and you're not distracted from customers coming in and out ordering their drinks. The matcha is okay; not great but not bad. Their drinks are quite milky and not as strong in the matcha as I prefer. The drinks are also a little on the pricey side starting at around $7-7.50 without any modifications. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved their seasonal menu as well as the drinks seem very creative and sound delicious.
Smaller coffee shop in a standard OC shopping center. There's a loft area above where people can sit and look down on the entrance. Didn't go up there but it looked like a nice setup from below. Our barista was very friendly and their menu has unique, sweet flavors that actually aren't overly sweet! The Peel Me a Latte banana latte was pretty good. You don't see banana on the menu at many places so I definitely wanted to try it. The flavor was mellow and not too overwhelming in the banana direction. Coffee itself was not too strong. It was a nice sipper and the cocktail ice is a fun touch. My friend got the Blueberry Pancakes Matcha and I don't like matcha, but I kind of liked this one! Maybe because it was blueberry forward enough for me not to taste the matcha itself. I was sold, but matcha lovers, take that as you will. Based on this experience, I could see this being a regular coffee shop for our morning fix the next time I come visit my friend. I'd say, it was pretty *solid.*
The banana matcha latte & strawberry matcha latte tasted pretty milky. It mainly tasted like banana milk & strawberry milk. First time here and ordered the Peel me Latte. Not super sweet and the coffee flavor is excellent. Love the working space upstairs with open seating and outlets! Great new spot for me to come work when I want to escape the office! Service was helpful when I was deciding between different options.
Going around trying out Matcha and coffee cafes! Ordered the blueberry matcha and the matcha meadow ( honey/ lavender). Blueberry was 4/5, flavor was good and they give you a large ice cube with S on it. The honey and lavender was 3.5/ 5, would had been better if the matcha was mixed better. Will have to try them again!
Solid Coffee Roasters is a pretty solid coffee shop in Huntington Beach. I went on a Sunday afternoon to study with a couple friends and I think I'll definitely be back in the future. When I got there at around 12, parking was a little difficult because it's located in a relatively busy plaza. I got their Meadow Matcha (lavender matcha) and liked it a lot because the floral taste was present, but not overpowering. My friends and I sat on the second floor, where there were plenty of tables and seats, which is pretty nice. We stayed until they closed at five, but I wish they opened a little later!
The cafe has a clean, minimalistic design with a spacious layout which included a second floor seating area that gives you plenty of room to catch up with friends, relax or get work done. It's located in a busy plaza that has lots of restaurants so parking can be tricky at times. The staff was really kind and took the time to answer questions or provide recommendations. Ordered the following: - Dirty Horchata (Summer Seasonal Menu) - Melona Matcha (Summer Seasonal Menu) - Matcha Meadow - Pistachio Matcha Croissant Got to try their summer seasonal menu! The Dirty Horchata had a nice balance with espresso and spiced horchata base. The Melona Matcha felt light and summery - the mix of the melon and matcha was very interesting and unique but worked well together and was not that sweet. The Matcha Meadow had subtle floral notes from the lavender, but it stayed well-balanced and not overly sweet. I also really like the pistachio matcha croissant - such a good pairing with the drinks! read more
Quiet work-friendly cafe in OC! Cute space, plentiful seating, very little crowds, friendly staff, and some outlets. Not the best for drinks but a good option if you need a place to work/study that opens somewhat late & isn't crowded. We tried the matcha monkey (banana matcha) and their new summer drink, melona matcha. Their banana matcha was pretty sweet and strong in banana flavor in the cream top and syrup, but lacked the taste of matcha. Same for the melona matcha. Super refreshing as it's made with cantaloupe milk but no matcha. Not bad but they're not known for their matcha, so I would stick to their coffee. Minor things to note - they blast the AC so I would make sure to dress warmly or bring a jacket. Parking can be a bit rough but I confirmed with the barista that they don't check parking at the front, so you can ignore the time limit! read more

"Solid Coffee" is either the most honest name ever... or the bar was set very high. Luckily, they lived up to it. I pulled up while waiting on my sandwich from a nearby spot (multitasking at its finest), and decided to do what any self-respecting coffee enthusiast would do--wander into a local coffee shop like I know what "notes" I'm tasting. The barista immediately passed the vibe check and recommended the Groovy Gorilla iced latte--his personal favorite. Then he casually mentioned he makes it his own way, like some underground coffee remix. Say less. I told him to bless me with the custom version, and he delivered. (Shoutout to that man--he knew exactly what he was doing.) I also grabbed a massive chocolate chip cookie with sea salt flakes because... balance. You can't just have a handcrafted latte without a cookie the size of your face. That's against hipster coffee bylaws. First sip of the latte? Yeah... I got it. Banana, chocolate, peanut butter--basically if a smoothie and a dessert had a highly caffeinated, well-dressed child. Smooth, flavorful, and dangerously easy to drink. Only downside? It's in Huntington Beach and not LA, which feels like a personal inconvenience to me. But if you're anywhere nearby, this spot is absolutely worth pulling up to. Final verdict: great coffee, great vibes, and a barista who might secretly be a flavor scientist. read more

My son and I after lunch next door decided to grab some drinks here for dessert. We ordered a drip coffee and an iced banana matcha latte one. Both absolutely delicious! Coffee was smooth and the matcha was very tasty...perfect blend of matcha and banana! Upstairs it looked like there was space for people to sit and hang out with their drinks....possibly a good place to catch up on some studies perhaps? Friendly service....will definitely return to try something else! read more

Order: * Creme Bru-Latte (my fav!) I got it less sweet and it tasted amazing, so definitely what I would go for if you like sweet coffee. Wished there was more of the burnt sugar crust on top * Blueberry maple matcha Less of a umami taste but more of creamy and floral flavored matcha. I tasted mostly milk and blueberry. * Strawberry shortcake Also another great latte! I got this one full sweet and it was definitely sweet but wasn't bad at all. There's a loft which makes a cute small space to study. Also, amazing service!! ANH made our day:) She was so sweet to us and is very knowledgeable about the drinks when giving us recommendations. Solid Coffee is indeed a solid coffee spot. Went to Rol Handroll Bar next store, when I spotted this coffee spot and decided to come in. Got the Groovy Gorilla and loved it. More peanut buttery than banana, but loved the coffee taste and the fact it wasn't too sweet. Barista was really attentive, and the upstairs offers a place to get work done, so great working vibes. They have so many unique latte varieties for both coffee and matcha, so I will be back. read more

Oh my goodness! Super cute spot. Happened to come across it on their grand opening day - where they had some discounts and gave away merch to some of their first customers. I'm super impressed with the drinks - i didn't adjust the sweetness and this blueberry matcha and black tea latte (forgot actual name) was delicious!! I was super excited about their block ice (with an S for solid!!) because small chunks of ice melt fast and this just seemed so thoughtful and classy. This location was easy parking and even had an upstairs. I'll be back!! read more
I love this coffee shop that I wish this was close to me but worth the drive! Here's what I got: - gingerbread latte - dear Santa - peel me a latte (favorite) - matcha monkey (favorite) - crème bru-latte They have such a great selection of drinks and cannot wait to try the rest of their menu! They currently have their winter specials & holiday drinks. I'm not typically a hot drink and hot coffee kind of person but dear Santa was pretty good (it's cookies and cream flavored). The staff were super nice and answered all the questions I had. This coffee shop is in a plaza so there's parking available out front! Definitely a great place to get some work done or just catch up with friends. There are seats upstairs and it has such a cute interior :) read more
After deciding to take a morning drive to Huntington Beach we went on the prowl to find a coffee shop for our morning caffeine fix. After several searches online I found Solid Coffee Roasters and settled on them because I saw they had a banana matcha. After walking inside we were greeted by the baristas who are so sweet and knowledgeable about the different drinks on the menu. After ordering the banana matcha I was craving we waited upstairs where they have plenty of seating. This would be a great place to work or study as it was relatively quiet and easy to focus if needed. If I'm ever in Huntington Beach again I will be fulfilling my caffeine addiction here. :) read more
Oh, hey there, Solid Coffee Roasters! Welcome to the Huntington Beach coffee fam. HB is quickly becoming the coffee capital of Orange County (in my humble opinion) and I'm beyond excited to add this new gem to the line up. Solid Coffee Roasters sits in a pretty banger business complex. This hot & new spot has neighbors like ROL Hand Roll Bar and Subculture Extraordinary. What really impressed me was their expansive menu of speciality lattes, including some really unique seasonal picks. I ordered an Ube Latte with oat milk, which was both sweet and highly caffeinated. I also snagged a pistachio croissant for funsies. While this spot might look small from the outside, don't let it fool you. Upstairs is large with a good amount of seating and outlets for everyone. I expect big things from this local biz! Can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. read more

Cute new coffee shop in HB! I was excited to have this place open up so close to home and definitely took advantage of the free pastries they were offering with every drink order during one of their first few weeks. I love how many unique options they have on their menu and can't wait to keep coming back to try new drinks. So far, I've tried the matcha tropic and matcha meadow, and both were sweet but super good in my opinion. They have a fun upstairs space that could probably serve as a good study/casual work spot. read more
Super crisp environment with a calm workspace loft upstairs, which is actually so sick cuz I don't think there's many 2-story cafes down here in Socal. Baristas are cool and service is ab 3~5 minutes quick. One little bonus I like is that they actually have recommendations when I ask for one and don't waste my time with a bunch of questions lol. I came here to try several drinks throughout this month alone and I gotta say the menu variety is pretty large so there's something for everyone. My favorites include the yuzu sparklers (Matcha Yuzu, Pink Lady, Cactus Cooler). Their matcha lattes are alright it's sweet and aromatic but not as deep as I prefer. Fall edition drinks are pretty good too. Price is as much as any modern cafe. Overall pretty...solid coffee lmfaooo read more

We came slightly before 9AM on a Saturday and were welcomed nicely by the staff. Inside was really nice as they did have plenty of seating on the second floor for those who need to work or just to have a chat (they also have wifi!). I ordered the Win the Day (viet coffee) and bacon and chive croissant (it was a staff's favorite). The coffee was really nice and strong but I will see it is cold brewed which I'm not too big on but I was craving viet coffee flavor and it def hit the spot! The croissant was also really good and inside did have crispy chopped bacon inside! Would love to try their other creative drinks. read more

I love trying new coffee shops so I decided to come check this place out! I got the peel me a latte which is a house made banana latte. I thought it was okay. I wish the flavor was a little stronger but still pretty good! I also got a chocolate croissant which was good but hardly had any chocolate inside. The place itself is beautiful with upstairs seating which I love at coffee shops. Service was alright. read more
A MUST TRY!!!! We stumbled upon Solid Coffee wandering around the area and we don't regret it! The matcha is fire, not too sweet, and the staff is so kind and welcoming. We coincidentally came the day before their opening day but since we're not from around here they made an exception for us. So so grateful for all the kind workers here. Lot's of study space on the top floor and outside, free and spacious parking, and nice area!!! Definitely returning on my next OC visit. read more

i've seen this location turnover a couple times, but I have to say that solid is my favorite coffee shop that's been here! Their flavors and specialty drinks are awesome, and I'm not sure if their food is made in house or sourced, but it's amazing as well! Highly recommend read more
Hands down - best coffee I've ever had and I've tried A LOT of coffee shops! I'm not a huge coffee girl but I do love a latte every now and then. Literally everything on the menu sounded good but I went for seasonal since I didn't know if I'd make it back before the holidays ended. I got the dear Santa which was amazing. It was the perfect balance of sweet + bitter coffee. The oreos inside added a nice little sweet surprise. I also got their Nutella croissant warmed up and when I tell you do not skip on this, listen. It was hot and soft and flaky and ooooozing with yummy Nutella. I live in Irvine and will happily drive to hb for this place anyway! read more

A very good variety of specialty drinks. Cashier was very welcoming. I had the peanut butter banana latte. That was a first! It was amazing, wasn't sure if I was going to like this mix. Lots of seating upstairs. A fun mix of merch and pastries. Lots of regulars with the Cashier calling them by name. A good sign of devoted customers. A great overall experience. read more
Light, airy and modernly minimalistic this place is clean + quiet in the little strip mall off beach blvd. An exceptional coffee shop that distinguishes itself by providing quality in every cup. Not overly sweet- Just right! (Disclaimer: I'm a health nut person, and prefer quality no preservatives or junk!) With that being said, they confirmed that they use almost every product being certified organic (even milk + alternatives!), freshly roasted beans, syrups, teas, coffee, pastries. I'm impressed with the quality standards here not the run of the mill. Milk alternatives are abundant for our dairy free counter parts. I do wish for a dairy free cold foam, but can accept the reality of its consistency isn't the same, so it's not on the menu. Baked goods menu seems to have multiple options, but most importantly they have vegan donuts from a Long Beach bakery! When I arrived to pick up my online order- They even said the wait would be 5 minutes, but the service was faster, and not to mention friendly. I love friendly, and happy customer service this day and age needs more of this. Community, and quality. This is the spot if you really do want an absolute solid spot for coffee, better snack, or ceremonial grade matcha. Today we ordered "Da Grinch" from the winter menu- matcha, cinnamon mixed with maple syrup that was organic - yum perfect amount of flavor for my palate! Can't wait to see what they offer in the coming months as the seasons change. Also tried the drip house coffee, and it didn't disappoint. Big takeaway: Increasing personal consumption self care standards by choosing a spot that has your health interests in mind certified organic / nongmo. Average fair prices. Great spot to study. I love fall flavors so I was excited to try this spot. The espresso taste itself was yummy but the flavor was washed out by the milk in our drinks. We felt that the goguma and the PSL shared similar spices which made the drink taste very similar. The ONYX latte was yummy however, I wish the black sesame was a cream top so it could mix into the drink better! read more
I got the banana coffee but it tasted more like a vanilla cinnamon latte that was watered down. I don't think I would be back. Service is nice. Nice quiet place with upstairs place to do work otherwise it's a little tight. read more

Was on the hunt for new cafes to study at and came across Solid! Got their blueberry pancakes latte (8/10), has a distinct blueberry flavor and was very smooth, not too sweet. My drink did take a while to be made. Upstairs was great for catching up and studying. The bright lighting made it easy for me to focus. Big parking lot but is limited to 2 hours. read more
Great ambiance just opened so it was fairly quiet - nice spot to sit upstairs with outlets. The service was also very friendly and like many coffee shops in the area they source good pastries. I got the strawberry matcha and the presentation was great unfortunately it was very sweet for my liking and had no matcha taste. The dominant flavor is strawberry milk. My friends drink - that she got with less syrup tasted a little more of matcha but once again despite the color it lacked that dominant tea flavor. Oh and a plus is they have One large cube of ice instead of many - no complaints about ice or less icy drinks here. Will for sure be coming back when they gain some momentum to see if any changes happen it's overall a cute spot - I'll try the plain latte next time. I'm so glad there's a Solid Coffee location closer to me now! I used to visit the one in Artesia, CA. It's a really cool space with upstairs seating. Very clean. Happy service. Great drinks. C O F F E E Super smooth and tasty. My fiancé got the house drip which was a delicious Colombian blend. I got the cloud fire brew, which was also a perfectly balanced blend of coffee and cream and not sweet at all (exactly what I wanted). CAN'T WAIT TRY MORE THINGS HERE!
