What a cute/ relaxing spot! Just stopped by this place on my way to the airport and stayed to relax for a bit. Musa helped me out & was so kind! They do coffee & hospitality well here. So delicious & would love to stop by again:)

Came over during the holiday season. This area is fully decorated, and has a good holiday spirit. There is a Christmas market outside of the coffee shop. This coffee shop gave me a Turkish vibes. Cashier was friendly, and service was fast. I ordered a dark chocolate latte with oak milk. The coffee was on the pricey side, and the taste was not as good as I expected. Parking was difficult. The parking lot is a bit small, and it was full. Not likely to stop by again.

Boston cream pie cake

The good: We got two fall seasonal drinks: Turkish fog (like a London fog but made with Turkish decaf tea) and a toasted marshmallow and caramel. We also tried a Boston cream pie cake that was tasty and wasn't too sweet. The drinks were good and were served warm. They were sweet without being overly sweet. I liked that my toddler was able to enjoy the decaf Turkish fog. The interior had Moroccan lanterns, Turkish decor, Christmas decor and was dog-friendly. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. I liked that their seasonal menu had a lot of options (including pumpkin spice lattes!). The parking lot had fun phrases like "good night" in French. The bad: The toasted marshmallow latte was supposed to come with cookie crumbles but didn't. The interesting: They played cool music like Phantogram but it seemed to becoming from just a speaker by the window so I'm unsure if it was from the cafe or from an individual customer's phone/computer. They're located in the Old World Village so there's a European/German flair outside.

The Coffee Tale is a turkish coffee shop located in Old World Village that serves organic coffee drinks. [Parking]: There's a designated private parking lot for Old World Village, but the lot can get super packed and I highly recommend visitors to park at the alternative parking structure at 7767 Center Ave (there will be a sign that directs visitors to this structure during the busy holiday season). [Atmosphere]: Cozy atmosphere and the shop gave this classic tea house vibe with Mediterranean vibe. Free Wi-Fi, but due to limited capacity there is a 2-hour limit with each purchase. There also a small outdoor patio area. [Menu]: The top Yelp highlights are Dark Chocolate Latte and Chai Latte. Customers can request for flavored syrup for an extra $0.75 to their coffee drinks. They do offer Turkish coffee for anyone who's interested in something different. *** Cinnamon Dirty Chai Latte ($6.95 + extra $0.75 with Dark Chocolate): I will have to admit I wasn't expecting the drink to taste this good - smooth finish & not overwhelming sweet. Baklava ($3.25): Tiny portion (I was able to finish this dessert in two bites), but it tasted great with a hint of molasses aftertaste. *** A nice cafe to check out in Old World Village. Visitors can also walk around the village with Christmas market vendors during weekends in November/December and The Biergarten at Old World HB.

Nice quiet relaxing shop with a good iced latte The have a couple of pastries to go with the wide selection of espresso options

Being born and raised in the HB/Westminster area, I never once stepped into Old World Village. And now I'm wondering why not?! It's so cute and adorable in this little shopping center transformed into some place right out of Europe! My sister and I stopped by this cute little coffee shop along with my two kiddos. We shared a Turkish spinach pastry and I had the Double Chocolate Coconut Latte. I'd say the pastry is an 8/10. Nice and flaky and flavoring was as expected. The latte was for sure a 10/10. Delicious! Service was friendly and helpful. And honestly, coming here just for the ambiance isn't a bad reason. So cute!

This is a Turkish-style da ha (drink). It tastes great, rich and flavorful. The service is good and the restaurant is clean. The atmosphere is friendly. Highly recommended.

Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Latte (TikTok: @justandyvu)

1. The latte was blended nicely with hints of raspberry! Not too much ice! 2. The spot has cute casual vibes! The interior is definitely cozy with cool decor! 3. This spot has both indoor and outdoor seatings! Small number of tables for both areas! 4. Two parking lots that can get crowded if there is an event! Spots are double-lines and not compact! 5. The staff was friendly and timely with my drink! It took less than 10 mins! Note: I did not easily see a bathroom available for customers! It would be good to check with the staff! The closest spot available for a meet up that's open late Sunday afternoon with great reviews and decided to check it out. It's located inside the old world village and not too hard to place. I was able to find parking right away. I ordered mocha and matcha latte (ice). The mocha was good but on the lighter side and so was the matcha. There were some tables outside and it was quiet and chill. This is a nice little spot for hangouts. The service was stellar and the owners were really friendly and personable.

Tucked inside Old World Village (right across from Costco), The Coffee Tale is a cozy Turkish café with character. There are two parking lots in the village, parking in the back is easier and saves you from walking around. They serve Turkish desserts like baklava, the green part is pistachio, and inside it's sweet and honey filled with a crispy bite. Both the coffee and desserts are reasonably priced. The indoor space is small but uniquely decorated. Many people come here with books or laptops to relax. There's also outdoor seating available. The person who took our order very friendly. The ambience was nice and quaint. I ordered a Cinnamon Bon Mocha latte with oatmilk, which is one of their holiday drinks. It tasted like I was drinking a chocolate milk with no coffee and no cinnamon.

Turkish coffee served with water and turkish delight. Chai in the back

Dog friendly :) great ambiance too it was so cozy in there. I got a puppacino for my dog, a Turkish coffee (tasted earthy in a good way of course) a chai tea latte (cinnamon was delicious on top) and then a spinach barek which tasted so good. Service was quick and so friendly. Would come back again as I think we just found a hidden gem.

Overwhelmed due to Oktoberfest. They are probably experiencing 3 times the amount of customers. Staff seemed overwhelmed and less than happy or friendly. When I asked about coffee of the day she said they sold out and made it a point to tap some sign I was supposed to see that noted that. I guess I don't frequent this place enough to know the rules. She said something else but I stopped listening. I ordered a large drink and was tried tobe talked onto a small drink and I don't know why. Then I was sts dong on the wrong side of where they serve the drinks and basically told to move then 2 seconds later told to move again because that's where they keep their ice freezer. I thought about moving on out the door but I already paid for the coffee ($7). In the end coffee was good.

The shop had a cool, modern atmosphere and did not feel gimmicky at all. My partner and I shared 2 drinks: Oreo Eclipse Matcha Brûlée (matcha-infused custard topped with caramelized sugar and served with crunchy oreo pieces) and Crimson Dragon (red dragonfruit green tea). Even with 30% sugar, both of these drinks were way too sweet. And with less ice, the drinks still contained a lot of ice. Taste-wise, the drinks were only tolerable. Although the parking lot here seems decently sized, this plaza's shared lot is notorious for feeling tight and cramped, especially on weekends. Seating inside the store is also pretty limited, with just a few small tables.

Since it already took us nearly an hour to get here, I decided to wait for it anyway. To my surprise, the soufflé actually arrived in less than an hour, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the Ube flavor itself was a little disappointing for my personal taste, as I felt it didn't pair as well with the soufflé texture as expected. Perhaps next time I'd try a different flavor instead of the Ube. Decor was minimalist though and place looked quite cozy.

First review of 2026!…read more It's time to finally share my favorite matcha spot in all of OC (atm). While the first few visits were for their coffee drinks, it wasn't until they brought in the MAMA Latte that we started getting addicted. The drink is quite pricey, but it's one of the best matcha drinks I've personally had. It packs a punch of flavor, but is also smooth and creamy at the same time. I was soooo excited because I love the taste of corn milk with coffee and it's not often sold at coffee shops. Based on taste, it's average, not the best but not the worst when it comes to balancing the sweet subtle flavor or corn and the intense bitterness that comes from coffee. I was actually quite surprised how much better the taste was than expected. It does lean a little bitter if you are one who likes your beverages very sweet. The reason why I was disappointed was because they didn't strain the corn so it was very grainy. It does not feel elevated when there are little bits that add nothing but an unflattering texture. Sorry Brew Story, I couldn't get over it. The second time I went, I tried a simple matcha latte iced. Sadly the matcha did not taste good. Thankfully it wasn't the super sweet almost cheap flavor i don't like, but i couldn't really appreciate the matcha flavor at all. Maybe I had bad luck on the days i went? I really didn't want to feel this disappointed. The space is really cool though, lots of tables and seats. They did a great job with the design.
