Delicious seasonal matcha! I loved their iced cherry matcha (Spring seasonal item): iced ceremonial matcha with a cherry cream top AND dried cherry bits inside. Full sweetness (agave) was delightful and did not feel overly sweet. Seemed like they use 3 or 4 g of matcha, but not sure (was at least more than 2g). Oat milk is only 50 cents extra, but I got regular milk (I think they use 2%). Interior was clean, forest green and had luxurious leafy vibes with 4 or so tables of 3. There is a bathroom, oddly with a bidet. Located in an older strip mall with varied food offerings. Plenty or parking on a weekday midday. BEWARE: google maps takes you to an alley in back, so just go around the block to the other side. I see why this place was on a reel for top iced matchas in OC. Would recommend, and would like to come back to try the mango matcha latte or even just for this cherry matcha again! read more

I hate to leave a bad review because the staff at cuptopia is so kind and I used to love the matcha from here but their shop has severely downgraded recently :( I used to absolutely love the matcha from this spot because it was nutty, smooth, earthy and perfectly sweet. I saw that they recently switched to a new powder so I wanted to try. They claim to be using Rocky's matcha, but I used Rocky's matcha at home and it tastes nothing like this! My double matcha tasted like pure grass and was very gritty. I'm not even sure what made it a double matcha because there was no matcha cream or anything on top. So I paid $8 for a bland grassy cup of milk. Cuptopia PLEASE go back to your old matcha ***Edit because that response from the owner is wild hahaha I guess the customer service isn't that great. I did not make a single rude comment about your shop or anything even remotely close to ruin anyone's reputation. All I said was that the matcha blend has downgraded because it has. Yelp is here to share honest opinions and that was mine. And obviously I don't know what was said or ordered because I WAS NOT THERE. He just dropped it off and made no mention of matcha cream not being available, either way $8 is way too expensive for a matcha this quality. Cute little cafe in a semi busy lot! However I was able to find parking without issues around noon on a Saturday. The cafe itself was not super busy but the staff was attentive and got my drink out quickly. I think this is a really cute spot to study or hang out because the couches are very comfortable and tables are pretty big. I got the spirulina cloud. I think that next time I want to try their teas/ coffee which is more of what they're known for. The spirulina smoothie was good and very filling but I think a bit sweet for my personal taste. I randomly came to this place after seeing that they had a cherry matcha. The inside is super cute and the chairs are really cozy if you wanted to come here to do homework. What a gem! This little shop is such a fun find. The coffee is absolutely delicious (10/10, no exaggeration), and their matcha is smooth and flavorful. They also have the cutest selection of desserts and snacks that pair perfectly with the drinks. The vibe inside is just as amazing as the menu...super clean, cozy, and aesthetic. The back wall is perfect for photos, and the green velvet chairs are not only adorable but also sooo comfortable. Came across an ig post about how they use rocky's matcha and decided to stop by once I found out how close it is to me. I drive by this plaza all the time but never noticed this place since it's tucked in the corner. We got the strawberry matcha & cookie butter matcha, and were surprised by how good they were. I loved the strawberry puree/syrup since it tasted fresh and was perfectly sweet. It was also our first time trying cookie butter matcha and the flavors mixed so well tgt. This was my first time to Cuptopia! I kept seeing ads for it all over Instagram, especially their $5 special on select matcha and coffee drinks so I had to give it a try. I was bummed that the house matcha wasn't part of this deal because it's my usual go-to, but I opted for the strawberry matcha instead this time which was great! They had cute decorations for Halloween as well as Halloween music and it wasn't super crowded or noisy so it was a good place to do work. Was in the Westminster area and was looking for a place to grab my morning coffee fix. Saw this on Yelp which seemed fairly new but favorable reviews. After talking with the staff it turns out they've only been open for about 7 months. Located along Westminster Blvd in a small strip of businesses, the parking situation could be hard if it gets busy. There was plenty of parking when I went but it's a small lot. Cuptoia is tucked in the corner with a neighboring cleaners and kabob restaurant. It's a decent mid sized space still decorated with Christmas decorations. Green painted walls and chairs, with a faux greenery foliage wall with a neon Cuptoia sign. There is a single restroom near the back. The menu is big with pictures which helps. The staff helping us was super friendly and helpful answering questions about the coffees and desserts. For our caffeine fixes I got the cookie butter latte, my bf the Summer Island Energizer (redbull drink). We also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie as well as the Fresas con Crema with Cheesecake Bites (choice of cheesecake or brownie). The Summer Island definitely tastes like redbull (they use an entire can) but also had nice fruity flavors with strawberry syrups as well as added strawberry and peach slices. It was very refreshing. The Cookie Butter Latte was as delicious as it was picture worthy (very good!). Two shots of espresso mixed with oat milk (you can choose your milk option). Topped with cookie crumbles. It was perfect once mixed together, and I loved that the cookie crumbles still retained the crunch for a while after mixing. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious, we asked if they could warm it up which they happily obliged. It had a distinct flavor that we couldn't put our finger on but was still good nonetheless. The Fresas con Crema with Cheesecake bites was soooo good. It would satisfy most people sweet tooth craving. Jam packed with strawberry slices and topped with loads of frozen cheesecake bites it's definitely a shareable dessert. Everything mixed in with the crema made every bite even more creamier. All our choices were fantastic. After a while another man entered, who may have been the owner but was also super friendly. He interacted with a lot of the guests including ourselves. He welcomed us back as we told him we wanted to try their Mango Loco (they didn't have all the ingredients available at the time of our visit). So tldr, if this review is too long, a lovely cafe which I could totally see being the next work spot that many cafes nowadays have sorta turned into. Great drinks and desserts to choose from (including savory Mexican street foods). Service was spot on. Show this place some love, we definitely will be back! read more
