Flat white, chai latte, Ethiopia yirgacheffe kochere
Colin M.

Visiting the OC area and stumbled upon Succulent Coffee Roasters in Huntington Beach, what a gem! The seaside location is incredible, with a bustling, lively local energy that makes it a great place to sit back and hang out. As an espresso fan, I ordered my usual flat white to test the waters, and it was really tasty, smooth, well-balanced, and expertly pulled. My wife got the house-made chai latte and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also picked up a bag of their house-roasted Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Kochere (Washed) for home brewing; while the roast tasted fairly standard compared to other Yirgacheffes I've tried, the quality was still solid. Above all, the staff were incredibly welcoming, engaging, and hospitable from start to finish. This will definitely be on our list of places to return to on future trips!

Spanish lattes & the treat for the kiddo
Marc M.

Coffee Roasters is easily one of our favorite coffee spots on PCH. We stop by about once a month for their Spanish latte, and it's consistently one of the best around, perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. Every few months we also grab a bag of their freshly roasted beans to enjoy at home because the quality is always outstanding. Friendly staff, great coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back. Highly recommend!

Love this modern clean coffee roastery. Always greeted quickly at the register. Has a good variety of quick bites and breakfast items. Ordered my usual iced espresso, nice bold flavor. They also have unique seasonal drinks. Fall is here, so time to try some new drink.

BLT

One of the best spots for coffee and truly exceptional food. This small shop was located walking distance from where we were staying and became a morning ritual to walk to. The coffee is on point and the food is fresh. The first time I tried the breakfast tacos with chorizo and I was just in heaven. But I was even more amazed when I got the BLT on the homemade focaccia bread. Oh my goodness, the bread was a perfect mesh of crispy outside and soft inside. I have no idea how that did it, but I was seriously in love with this sandwich and am still thinking about it as I write this. The tomato was fresh and the lettuce was crisp and the entire thing was a culinary masterpiece (for a sandwich). The aioli on it was perfect. The coffee is also great and I tried both a mocha as well as their regular coffee. Everyone is extremely nice and they go out of their way for your experience. Many cyclists stop here after a ride, so keep an eye out as the place fills up!

Vanilla Latte

Succulent Coffee Roasters is easily one of the cutest coffee spots I've come across! I found it after a beach day near Sunset Beach, and it ended up being such a great little find. The whole place is filled with succulents (as it should be!). The vibe is super fun and unique, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered a vanilla iced latte and a breakfast sandwich, and both were amazing. The sandwich was perfectly balanced--crispy, flavorful, and just melted in your mouth. It came with a salsa that completely elevated it, and the best part is you can actually buy jars of it to take home (which I highly recommend). They have both indoor seating and a small outdoor patio with umbrellas, which makes it a great spot to hang out. Just a heads up--parking can get a little tight since it's in a small lot, so you might need to park on the street. If you're heading to the beach and want a solid coffee and food stop, this place is definitely worth checking out!

This place always has a line out the door so I figured I'd give them a try. My wait wasn't long. I ordered a Cappuccino and a pastry that had cheese inside. I never had Cappuccino before and really enjoyed it. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit outside. Service was good, and the place is clean. My next visit I'll see what type of teas they have

Coffee: I got the succulent latte with oat milk and an extra shot of espresso. This was on of the best lattes that I've had. The coffee just tasted good. The beans they use are so good! I will totally be back for another coffee! They do have food items as well! Service: The kind gentleman that took my order was very patient because I had a few questions and he would answer them in a way that showed he wasn't rushing me. He was so kind he apologized for the wait. And even when I was waiting the lady making the coffee was smiling and she even said a few things to me! Inside environment: They have a good amount of seating space inside. From a bar top type seating to a few tables. They seemed to be pretty busy when I was there but most people got the coffee and left so there was always seating! It's such a cute vibe in there! Outside: They have a decent amount of seating outside. The parking was a little bit rough because they have a lot of other businesses in the parking lot, but you could park along the street right next to this coffee shop. It is very easy to spot and very easy to get to. I am totally coming back when I am in the area. I had a great experience here.

The place is right on the corner of PCH & Warner with great coffee and great snacks. Parking is good but sometimes can be hectic especially weekend. Menu is simple but plenty of great choices. Great and friendly service plus you can see how your coffee is made. The place is very nice, bright and with friendly vibe. They do have tables & bar seats that either look to the street or into the coffee bar. They do have coffee beans and other goods for sale. Plus they do other snacks & foods. Overall, it's a great place, great drinks and great service.

Succulent coffee roasters is a great local spot in Huntington Beach located on the corner of PCH and Warner. I stopped in this afternoon after realizing I needed an afternoon pick me up. I had asked several menu questions to the barista who was quick to answer any questions I had. I ordered a salted maple latte. The salted maple latte was a warm, fall, semi-sweet drink. I personally do not like overly sweet coffee, the salted maple was perfect for my preference and not too salty. The coffee came out quickly and was even adorned with a heart latte art. The inside offered several spots to eat/drink including barstools and tables. The outside has several chairs and umbrellas. They also sell coffee and merchandise off to the side of the register. Succulent coffee roasters offers a great latte, quick service, and a cute environment. I will say, parking can be difficult as there are several businesses in the same shopping center. They also have a guard stationed to ensure people are not parking for the beach.

Succulent is super convenient for us because it's ultra close by. They have delicious coffee and consistently great breakfast options. My go-to order is the mocha with oat milk and the bolsa chica bowl for breakfast both are always satisfying. You have to try their homemade salsa sooo good!! Everything is served to-go style, but they've recently added tables and chairs outside, which is perfect since they tend to get pretty busy. The staff is always helpful and friendly, making every visit an easy and enjoyable experience. Definitely one of our local favorites for a relaxed morning coffee and bite!

Friendly and efficient service. The baristas were knowledgeable in menu suggestions. They have a decent variety of brunch items as well. My buddy got the 'muscle beach bowl'. For $17 he said it was just alright. I kept it simple and went with an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. Nicely balanced and not too sweet. Sweet location near the beach and wetlands preserve, perfect for before or after a day of recreation.

My absolute breakfast and coffee go-to. I live walking distance which is both a blessing and a problem because I'm pretty much here every morning and I regret nothing. I haven't had a single thing I didn't love, it's all that good. If you're driving, the parking lot can be a little tricky, but once you're inside with that first sip of coffee, totally worth it. Total local gem. Go early, go hungry, and don't blame me when you become a regular too.

Kyoto cold brew(Ethiopia)- excellent!

Let's talk about how good this coffee shop really is. Succulent Coffee Roasters has something for everyone. A variety of coffee and food options that satisfy even the hangriest, with thoughtful choices for non-meat eaters too. Located in a busy corner strip mall at PCH and Warner, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. They roast their own beans, and the Dawn Patrol (a dark roast with rich notes of dark chocolate and nutty flavor) is my personal favorite. I've sampled many drinks on the menu, but the Mexican Mocha stands out with its cinnamon, cayenne, and chocolate blend. Food-wise, their AVO Toast with egg, is a must...especially with the adobo sauce, the half Filipino in me wholeheartedly approves. The Sunset Tacos(chorizo on house-made corn tortillas) are amazing. I could easily tear down a dozen... emphasis on could. My belly would never forgive me. The baristas here are professional, the drinks are consistently on point, and when you're in a rush, their website makes ordering for pickup a breeze. Fair warning: weekends can get hectic, especially with Riip Beer Company next door, the parking lot fills fast, so have patience. ;-) All in all, Succulent Coffee Roasters checks every box for me and continues to deliver on all my coffee shop cravings.

Easy to park in their lot and it was free with validation. Six or so tables along the glass on the patio, and another 4-6 in the dining room, make this a wonderful pace for dinner, apps or drinks while watching a sunset. Mia at the front desk made sure we had a great seat. Phil was our waiter and he took great care of us all evening. A delicious paloma martini got us started and we loved the spicy tuna tartare tacos. The short ribs with pineapple cheesy risotto was yummy and my wife loved the salmon and mashed potatoes. Huge portions and the price was not crazy. Pretty quiet on the patio aside from a few loud motorcycles along PCH. The dining room was a bit louder with the piped in music but too loud in there. We will definitely be back. Solid dinner house with great ocean views.

I'm really disappointed to have to update my review after our latest experience at The Brant…read more Unfortunately, the lack of hospitality we experienced this time was incredibly disappointing from the moment we arrived. We brought my stepdad, who was in a wheelchair, and when we entered, there were two young women working at the front. Despite clearly seeing us trying to navigate the entrance with his wheelchair, neither offered to help with the door. We literally had to ask them to assist us. Something as simple as holding the door for a guest in a wheelchair should be basic hospitality and common courtesy. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve once we sat down at the bar. Our bartender, Viviana/Vidiana, essentially ignored us. My stepdad ordered a glass of Chardonnay, and she clearly heard his order. Rather than acknowledging him or getting his drink, she continued talking to another couple at the bar about how she couldn't wait to be off work. She then walked away, said something quietly to the bartender coming on shift about my stepdad wanting a Chardonnay, grabbed her purse, and left. There was no "Someone else will be taking care of you," no acknowledgment of his order, no goodbye -- nothing. It honestly came across as incredibly rude and dismissive. What bothered me most wasn't having to wait for a glass of wine; it was the complete lack of warmth, attentiveness, and basic hospitality throughout the experience. When you are bringing a family member who uses a wheelchair somewhere, you already have additional things to navigate. Having staff make you feel like an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests makes the experience that much worse. We have enjoyed The Brant before, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. Hospitality is about making people feel welcome and cared for, and unfortunately, that was completely missing during our latest visit.

It was a hefty burger. I had to cut it in half to pick it up. They also have a Tuesday special. It is a choice of 3 tacos for $17.50. My partner had the sea bass taco, blackened shrimp taco, and a Baja taco. They were also big. We expected small tacos, but they were huge.
