    Smoking gun
    Maggie H.

Perfect coffee spot to stop by before heading out on a walk to the pier. I ordered the popular Smoking Gun, which has maple syrup and a bit of salt. Sooooo good. The hint of salt elevates the whole latte and puts it over the edge for me. And it's not too sweet!

Was looking for a place to kill the time while waiting for a friend. I had been here once before long long time ago and I forgot about it til now. I'm in my neighborhood and in need of cup of coffee and I went here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Supper cool place to hangout, do homework or work, or just chill over chats with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu is small but great choices, baristas here are nice and friendly. Coffees here are great, make to order to your liking with choices of dairies, levels of sweetness, and so forth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean, net, spacious and with lighthouse vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seats with different styles to choose from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of natural lights from windows, doors and high ceiling.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of street parking but can be hassle sometime. There is building parking structure right behind the shop. Overall perfect place for a great coffee(s) and great staff

    Eggnog Chai Latte

Nowadays Coffee, formerly known as Humblemaker. New name, same great quality. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the new art direction they're headed in. It's kinda giving 50s mid-century meets the beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the eggnog chai w/ whole milk because I had my black coffee at home this morning. My drink off the holiday menu was sooo rich and delicious, warm and cozy! The baristas here are cool too, no pretense. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is one of my favorite coffee shops because there's a "secret" patio upstairs that a lot of people don't know about and it's so perfect to sit out on a sunny day and watch the cars pass by on PCH.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love that they were still open later in the day around 3:30-4pm! I've never been to Seal Beach area and I was surprised to find such a cool coffee shop. The workers were really friendly and kind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior of the space was a bit modern, reminded me low key of ikea + home office space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were massive windows that allowed a lot of natural light to come in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have tea & coffee, as well as lemonade. I think their specialty coffee options are really great -- flavor wise. They even have a variety of alternative milks-- such as, coconut, non fat, oat, and almond. They accept cash & card payments! I got the Iced Lavish Honey Latte, 16 oz I believe with Whole Milk. This is actually a lavender & raw honey latte. The balance of espresso to milk and housemade syrup was very good. The latte was pretty solid! It reminded me of the coffee shops in Santa Cruz. Although, this is just a personal preference but I found out that I'm not a fan of raw honey. It has a slightly spicy warm note to it that throws me off. I'm very used to lavender honey lattes and I'm highly certain it was not the lavender I was tasting that had that flavor. It was still really good! 4.8/5! My cousin got their Lemonade which was priced very fairly and made well. It wasn't overly sweet...good acidity. Also, they have an Arnold Palmer as well that sounded delicious! They use white tea with their lemonade. Overall, I had a great time here and the flavor combination options all sounded delicious. Since the latte itself is solid I'm sure the other flavors that I didn't order would be amazing! Like the smoked salted maple latte or the cherry bomb-- coconut cream, cherry bitters, and cinnamon! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a handful of interior seating and even a little armchair too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Smoking Gun
    Stacey P.

Very Nice and friendly staff. I am here to work and I will be back soon. I ordered the Smoking Gun which is their most popular item. It doesnt sound good on paper but I love salty and sweet combinations. I now see why its so popular. Its a great drink that you can find anywhere else.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Best part is the outdoor patio upstairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu was frustrating- half of it had no pricing. If I'm gonna pay nearly $10 for a drink, I'd at least like to know beforehand. Got a bagel, which was fine but nothing special. Cold brew was about the same. Had heard good things about this spot so it was a bit of a letdown overall.

Great service and great coffee! No complaints! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a decent amount of seating inside and is quiet when there isn't a giant group coming in![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of my regular spots when I'm in the area.

    Cherry Bomb

I drink this whole coffee already because it was so good and refreshing because the hints of cherry were so subtle. It wasn't like a super strong flavor or syrup. It was just a lingering cherry taste that definitely added to the espresso part of it and mixed with cinnamon and made this drink so amazing. I think it was called the cherry bomb.

    Jina S.

Found this place near work and I'm in love with it for a few reasons! 1. I tried the cherry bomb though the day I went, they ran out of cherry bitters. So instead they offered me chocolate or orange bitters to which I chose chocolate. It also has coconut cream, cinnamon and choice of milk! Tasted kind of like a mocha/hot chocolate? Really enjoyed it and would love to try other drinks too! 2. I think all their lattes are priced with "choice of milk", at $7-8.50. Which is nice because it doesn't feel so crappy being lactose-intolerant and usually needing to pay more 3. Lot of open space and seats for working, studying, hanging out Service was really nice and informative with giving me a recommendation

    Veronika Z.

First of all what a bomb breakfast sandwich. THE BREAD, wonderful texture and bite to it. I absolutely love that they also folded in the tasty I am assuming black garlic paste into the egg, it doesn't leak that way and still lends its flavor, great sandwich design. The COFFEE DRINK, asked for it less sweet it was the drink with maple syrup and smoked salt, it was AMAZING the flavor note that the smoked salt left, would get again and not too sweet where I can still taste my coffee. Great service, and being an easy walk to the beach cannot be beat ambiance wise.

Iced matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup
    Christian S.

Stable wifi and popular workspace! I found this gem after my boyfriend recommended it. Our power went out and I went straight to Humblemaker coffee. I ordered the iced matcha latte with oat milk. Happy to say it was made with ceremonial matcha! For added sweetness I asked for vanilla syrup! It was a great place to work remote but at around 10:30 am the hustle and bustle of the lunch crowd made it difficult to orchestrate a zoom call.

Coffee was top notch. A good deal of variety and unique coffee and flavor combos. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location has an upstairs and downstairs and is large and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend.

I came here on a friday morning with my mom and waited around 10-15 minutes I believe. Once we were sat, we decided on ordering the breakfast burrito with chorizo and the nutella french toast. For drinks we ordered the dirty chai with oatmilk and a regular chai latte. The drinks were okay nothing too special. The outdoor seating was very cute, super nice since it is right by the beach. As for the food, I thought the burrito was okay, I can't say it was something I'd come for again. As for the nutella french toast, it was also okay, put nutella on anything and I'll eat it, but I'd love to come back to try other things on the menu. The service was okay, my server was not very attentive, and I was looking for her everywhere, but maybe it was a bit busy.. Overall, this is a very cute spot, I would come back to try other things on the menu due to the location and wide variety on their menu. As for the service, I'm hoping it was just a backed up and stressful day.

I went into javatinis since it was right there and I felt bad about just asking for a water without paying so I ordered an iced latte (even though I don't care for their drinks). After I had already paid, I asked them politely for an iced water. They said they would have to charge. I was like "what? Even though I paid for a drink?" And the girl said "yes we charge for the cost of the cup." So pathetic. So I walked over to bogarts fully expecting to have to pay for something else I didn't need just to get an iced water for my toddler. The girl at bogarts, without hesitation, gave me an iced water. I said "are you sure? I can buy a muffin or something" she said "seriously it's no problem." And because of that, I went back a few hours later to get an iced chai, and now bogarts is the only coffee shop we'll give our money to every week in seal beach. Funny how not being cheap and a penny pincher with your paying customers will benefit you in the long run. Javatinis could learn a thing or two from them... I tell all of my seal beach family and friends to only go to bogarts from now on.

The carpets and walls are "rustic" if you're being generous, but honestly they looked cigarette-stained and filthy. The service was atrocious too. It took nearly THIRTY MINUTES just to get tea. Tea. Not a five-course meal. Then we waited OVER AN HOUR for finger sandwiches that tasted like cafeteria scraps. Most of the food was genuinely awful. The only remotely edible items were the tomato soup, cucumber/egg sandwich, and chicken quiche -- except the quiche wasn't even included and cost an extra $22, which is insane for a place already charging premium prices for mediocrity. The "egg sandwich" was basically stale yellow bread with microscopic traces of egg. And whoever decided HAM AND BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE belonged in a finger sandwich needs to be fired immediately. Even the table decor looked terrible. Every table had random mismatched pieces from different sets instead of a cohesive theme, so the whole place just felt cluttered, lazy, and disorganized. Nothing about this experience felt charming or intentional. I waited over an hour to eat garbage in a room that smelled like dust and neglect. Absolutely do not recommend.
