Perfect coffee spot to stop by before heading out on a walk to the pier. I ordered the popular Smoking Gun, which has maple syrup and a bit of salt. Sooooo good. The hint of salt elevates the whole latte and puts it over the edge for me. And it's not too sweet!
I was looking for a spot to hang out and do some work before an event and noticed this place had a lot of good reviews and after visiting I can see why! Located right at the edge of Old Town Seal Beach, Humblemaker Coffee gives all the SoCal beach vibes with its laid back open atmosphere and really friendly baristas. When I went in I was immediately greeted and asked if I had any questions. The menu has a lot of really unique and bespoke type coffee and other drinks. I went with the Smoking Gun with coconut milk and it was absolutely delicious! A little maple and smoked salt gave it such a balanced flavor, I drank the whole thing and wanted more! Great space to work or hang out on the first floor and an upstairs open patio with seating on the second floor with WiFi available as well. I found street parking during my visit pretty easily across the street.

The place is clean, net, spacious and with lighthouse vibe. Plenty of seats with different styles to choose from. Plenty of natural lights from windows, doors and high ceiling. Plenty of street parking but can be hassle sometime. There is building parking structure right behind the shop. Overall perfect place for a great coffee(s) and great staff
Nowadays Coffee, formerly known as Humblemaker. New name, same great quality. I like the new art direction they're headed in. It's kinda giving 50s mid-century meets the beach. I got the eggnog chai w/ whole milk because I had my black coffee at home this morning. My drink off the holiday menu was sooo rich and delicious, warm and cozy! The baristas here are cool too, no pretense. This is one of my favorite coffee shops because there's a "secret" patio upstairs that a lot of people don't know about and it's so perfect to sit out on a sunny day and watch the cars pass by on PCH.
I love that they were still open later in the day around 3:30-4pm! I've never been to Seal Beach area and I was surprised to find such a cool coffee shop. The workers were really friendly and kind. The interior of the space was a bit modern, reminded me low key of ikea + home office space. There were massive windows that allowed a lot of natural light to come in. They have tea & coffee, as well as lemonade. I think their specialty coffee options are really great -- flavor wise. They even have a variety of alternative milks-- such as, coconut, non fat, oat, and almond. They accept cash & card payments! I got the Iced Lavish Honey Latte, 16 oz I believe with Whole Milk. This is actually a lavender & raw honey latte. The balance of espresso to milk and housemade syrup was very good. The latte was pretty solid! It reminded me of the coffee shops in Santa Cruz. Although, this is just a personal preference but I found out that I'm not a fan of raw honey. It has a slightly spicy warm note to it that throws me off. I'm very used to lavender honey lattes and I'm highly certain it was not the lavender I was tasting that had that flavor. It was still really good! 4.8/5! My cousin got their Lemonade which was priced very fairly and made well. It wasn't overly sweet...good acidity. Also, they have an Arnold Palmer as well that sounded delicious! They use white tea with their lemonade. Overall, I had a great time here and the flavor combination options all sounded delicious. Since the latte itself is solid I'm sure the other flavors that I didn't order would be amazing! Like the smoked salted maple latte or the cherry bomb-- coconut cream, cherry bitters, and cinnamon! They have a handful of interior seating and even a little armchair too.

Best part is the outdoor patio upstairs. Menu was frustrating- half of it had no pricing. If I'm gonna pay nearly $10 for a drink, I'd at least like to know beforehand. Got a bagel, which was fine but nothing special. Cold brew was about the same. Had heard good things about this spot so it was a bit of a letdown overall.

So instead they offered me chocolate or orange bitters to which I chose chocolate. It also has coconut cream, cinnamon and choice of milk! Tasted kind of like a mocha/hot chocolate? Really enjoyed it and would love to try other drinks too! 2. I think all their lattes are priced with "choice of milk", at $7-8.50. Which is nice because it doesn't feel so crappy being lactose-intolerant and usually needing to pay more 3. Lot of open space and seats for working, studying, hanging out Service was really nice and informative with giving me a recommendation
First of all what a bomb breakfast sandwich. THE BREAD, wonderful texture and bite to it. I absolutely love that they also folded in the tasty I am assuming black garlic paste into the egg, it doesn't leak that way and still lends its flavor, great sandwich design. The COFFEE DRINK, asked for it less sweet it was the drink with maple syrup and smoked salt, it was AMAZING the flavor note that the smoked salt left, would get again and not too sweet where I can still taste my coffee. Great service, and being an easy walk to the beach cannot be beat ambiance wise.
I drink this whole coffee already because it was so good and refreshing because the hints of cherry were so subtle. It wasn't like a super strong flavor or syrup. It was just a lingering cherry taste that definitely added to the espresso part of it and mixed with cinnamon and made this drink so amazing. I think it was called the cherry bomb.
Stable wifi and popular workspace! I found this gem after my boyfriend recommended it. Our power went out and I went straight to Humblemaker coffee. I ordered the iced matcha latte with oat milk. Happy to say it was made with ceremonial matcha! For added sweetness I asked for vanilla syrup! It was a great place to work remote but at around 10:30 am the hustle and bustle of the lunch crowd made it difficult to orchestrate a zoom call.

Spacious dog friendly place! Stop to connect with friends, grab a to go drink, or even meet up as a run club (huge group passing through right as I got here)! Seems like a hub in the community. The matcha coconut cream too was DELICIOUS. read more

I got a cold brew with lavender syrup. Their lavender syrup is literally just made with water and boil down Lavender leaves So is naturally sugar-free. It had a pleasant flavor which enhance the cold brew nicely. It was quite floral, but not overwhelming. The rest of their syrups are made in house with cane sugar, but they offered Stevia packets . My friend got a strawberry Matcha latte with oat milk. I noticed that both of our drinks were not filled to the top. Hers had more room than mine did, but mine still had a lot of empty space. The baristas were helpful and answered all of my questions. They were kind and energetic. The interior was very spacious. I asked to go to the restroom and the restroom was on the second floor so i took a large staircase up. it was well decorated with beach pictures on the walls and other modern decor. it was quite expensive. they accepted contactless payment. it was difficult to find parking. Overall, I had a good experience . I would like to return And review more of their menu items if they invited me back read more

A girlfriend said Smoking Gun was a must try at humblemaker and OMG so glad I listened one of the best coffees I've had in a long time. The combo of smoked salt with the latte is perfection so yummy each sip you take. Can't wait to go back and have another one I don't think I'll stray away from that one. Tried their Cabin Fever and Cherry Bomb - both were delicious. Will keep coming back to try their other options. What really impressed me was their space! Spacious, it's a perfect spot to catch up with friends. There's more seating in the 2nd floor as well. read more
They have a new owner and recently changed the name to Saint Rose Coffee. Employees told me that the coffee and processes are the same and that they are in the process of changing the signage. I really love the look and feel of this coffee stop. It's at the start of Main Street in Seal Beach--one of the absolutely best places in Southern California to hang out anytime of the day or night and I do both. Here is why I only gave them 3 stars and was thinking of maybe 2 stars: The coffee they are serving. It had been 2 weeks since my last coffee so any level of caffeine was going to get tired David going. They gave me a cup of their Ethiopian Blend ($3.24)--the one they said had the most caffeine. I relaxed in the store for about 45 minutes and finished it. Did not make a dent! I was falling asleep. [Just a note that the sign in store said the coffee was $3.00, but when I questioned how why it was ringing up at $3.24--they said the prices on the signs have not been updated yet.) I returned to the counter, where they offer free refills and explained the situation--told her that I finished it and no effect. She then gave me a cup of the other blend. I drank some more. I think that one had caffeine, but not much. My suggestion to the business is that they need to study up on what what coffees are available on the market and make some changes. Or maybe new equipment or preparation training is needed in case they are adding too much water. Something is not right and if you are operating a coffee shop-- incredible coffee is Job One! I am not sure that I would return here for coffee--but I would really like to hang out here again on my next visit to seal beach. read more
When we visited the area one of the first things I did was search for coffee shops nearby. Humblemaker made my list right away. It's so unique that the have a free wellness addition with your drink purchase and they have a variety of coffee and tea options as well as lemonade, apple juice and hot cocoa. The inside is beautiful and definitely a great spot to hang out and work or meet up with others. It was hard to decide on a specialty drink, there were so many that sounded good. I ended up with the Lavish Honey though and it was really tasty. Next time I want to try the Almond x Joy though, I'm a huge coconut fan. read more

Located in a corner suite. This place is very spacious and has a few high tables facing the windows if you want to work on your laptop. There's also a sofa section and scattered tables and chairs available. Although I would have to say the tables are a bit unleveled and dangerous if you have the liquids near your electronics. Came in here waiting for our dog next door. Ordered a hot cocoa to keep warm on this cloudy day. Music always on in the background and customers are always coming in and out. Very friendly staff. It's a bit pricey, but would probably support this place than CB across the street. read more
Glad I stopped by when I was on the area. Grabbed an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. It took sometime to make so I'm happy that I set aside time before my appointment. So many open seats inside and parking was pretty easy first thing in the morning. The person at the register and in the kitchen were really cool. read more

Amazing! The ambience of this shop was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed the music being played as well as the conversations happening all around! The coffee was amazing! Located on the PCH end of the town, this charming coffee shop is a gem that is no so hidden. The shop is inside a multi use building where parents can take their kids to sorts practice or they can co-working while enjoying coffee. It has indoor and outdoor seating including upstairs view of the town. The coffee is aromatic and staff was super friendly. Service is fast and hassle free. read more
