I love that they were still open later in the day around 3:30-4pm! I've never been to Seal Beach area and I was surprised to find such a cool coffee shop. The workers were really friendly and kind. I got the Iced Lavish Honey Latte, 16 oz I believe with Whole Milk. This is actually a lavender & raw honey latte. The balance of espresso to milk and housemade syrup was very good. The latte was pretty solid! It reminded me of the coffee shops in Santa Cruz. Although, this is just a personal preference but I found out that I'm not a fan of raw honey. It has a slightly spicy warm note to it that throws me off. I'm very used to lavender honey lattes and I'm highly certain it was not the lavender I was tasting that had that flavor. It was still really good! 4.8/5! My cousin got their Lemonade which was priced very fairly and made well. It wasn't overly sweet...good acidity. Also, they have an Arnold Palmer as well that sounded delicious! They use white tea with their lemonade. Overall, I had a great time here and the flavor combination options all sounded delicious. Humble Maker Coffee might honestly be one of the best coffees I've ever had. I usually play it safe with the same boring vanilla latte, but I ordered off their menu this time and WOW ~ game changer. Smoking Gun and Cherry Bomb ~~It was so good we literally drove back to Seal Beach the next day just to get another one while visiting from out of town. I will say the service wasn't the friendliest. I drink this whole coffee already because it was so good and refreshing because the hints of cherry were so subtle. It wasn't like a super strong flavor or syrup. It was just a lingering cherry taste that definitely added to the espresso part of it and mixed with cinnamon and made this drink so amazing. I think it was called the cherry bomb. read more

Found this place near work and I'm in love with it for a few reasons! 1. I tried the cherry bomb though the day I went, they ran out of cherry bitters. So instead they offered me chocolate or orange bitters to which I chose chocolate. It also has coconut cream, cinnamon and choice of milk! Tasted kind of like a mocha/hot chocolate? Really enjoyed it and would love to try other drinks too! 2. I think all their lattes are priced with "choice of milk", at $7-8.50. First of all what a bomb breakfast sandwich. THE BREAD, wonderful texture and bite to it. I absolutely love that they also folded in the tasty I am assuming black garlic paste into the egg, it doesn't leak that way and still lends its flavor, great sandwich design. The COFFEE DRINK, asked for it less sweet it was the drink with maple syrup and smoked salt, it was AMAZING the flavor note that the smoked salt left, would get again and not too sweet where I can still taste my coffee. I got a cold brew with lavender syrup. Their lavender syrup is literally just made with water and boil down Lavender leaves So is naturally sugar-free. It had a pleasant flavor which enhance the cold brew nicely. It was quite floral, but not overwhelming. The rest of their syrups are made in house with cane sugar, but they offered Stevia packets . My friend got a strawberry Matcha latte with oat milk. I noticed that both of our drinks were not filled to the top. Hers had more room than mine did, but mine still had a lot of empty space. The baristas were helpful and answered all of my questions. They were kind and energetic. The interior was very spacious. I asked to go to the restroom and the restroom was on the second floor so i took a large staircase up. it was well decorated with beach pictures on the walls and other modern decor. it was quite expensive. they accepted contactless payment. it was difficult to find parking. They have a new owner and recently changed the name to Saint Rose Coffee. Employees told me that the coffee and processes are the same and that they are in the process of changing the signage. I really love the look and feel of this coffee stop. It's at the start of Main Street in Seal Beach--one of the absolutely best places in Southern California to hang out anytime of the day or night and I do both. Here is why I only gave them 3 stars and was thinking of maybe 2 stars: The coffee they are serving. It had been 2 weeks since my last coffee so any level of caffeine was going to get tired David going. They gave me a cup of their Ethiopian Blend ($3.24)--the one they said had the most caffeine. I relaxed in the store for about 45 minutes and finished it. Did not make a dent! I was falling asleep. [Just a note that the sign in store said the coffee was $3.00, but when I questioned how why it was ringing up at $3.24--they said the prices on the signs have not been updated yet.) I returned to the counter, where they offer free refills and explained the situation--told her that I finished it and no effect. She then gave me a cup of the other blend. I drank some more. I think that one had caffeine, but not much. My suggestion to the business is that they need to study up on what what coffees are available on the market and make some changes. Or maybe new equipment or preparation training is needed in case they are adding too much water. Something is not right and if you are operating a coffee shop-- incredible coffee is Job One! I am not sure that I would return here for coffee--but I would really like to hang out here again on my next visit to seal beach. read more

When we visited the area one of the first things I did was search for coffee shops nearby. Humblemaker made my list right away. It's so unique that the have a free wellness addition with your drink purchase and they have a variety of coffee and tea options as well as lemonade, apple juice and hot cocoa. The inside is beautiful and definitely a great spot to hang out and work or meet up with others. It was hard to decide on a specialty drink, there were so many that sounded good. I ended up with the Lavish Honey though and it was really tasty. Next time I want to try the Almond x Joy though, I'm a huge coconut fan. read more

Located in a corner suite. This place is very spacious and has a few high tables facing the windows if you want to work on your laptop. There's also a sofa section and scattered tables and chairs available. Although I would have to say the tables are a bit unleveled and dangerous if you have the liquids near your electronics. I had the purple haze which is a cold brew with lavender, earl grey, oat milk, and immunity shot and a croissant pastry that had a vanilla bean coating in the middle and crème brûlée crust on top. Both were decently ok. No strong flavor with either. The workers were nice and the setting was relaxing and open but it not one outlet I think so if you're coming to study be aware of that and parking on main street is always a little difficult but overall I wouldn't go out of my way to come to this coffee shop again but I'm glad I tried it out myself. read more

I was excited to try a coffee shop that includes wellness in their concoctions, love the idea. When walking in, I was quite impressed with the aesthetics. The coffee shop is super inviting with lots of space, lots of seating to look out the window and have a view of Main Street and seating areas to get comfy with your laptop or meet with someone and have a chat. Ordering with the barista was super quick and easy. I ordered the Smoking Gun and immediately after sipping it, I can taste the smoked salt.
